2231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: July 28, 2011, 11:26:53 PM
ok bitcoind started up

now pushpoold is hanging like this:

[2011-07-28 23:25:3.778328] Listening on host :: port 8342
[2011-07-28 23:25:3.778567] Listening on host :: port 8341
[2011-07-28 23:25:3.778647] Listening on host :: port 8334
[2011-07-28 23:25:3.778720] Listening on host 127.0.0.1 port 8338

miner wont connect
you ready to log in and fix it?

2232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: July 28, 2011, 11:13:08 PM
have you setup pushpool before?

I will give you 5 btc to log into my server and fix whatever problem I am having.
2233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: July 28, 2011, 11:10:03 PM
yes i know its not a problem of how I am entering the mining information into the miner

when bitcoind is running I can get my miner going directly to the bitcoind
but it does not connect to pushpool

please just go over the steps for me again

bitcoind - pushpoold - and miningfarm all have to be on the same port - correct?
but they have to be on a seperate port from 8332 - correct?

in order to start them up
first i run ./bitcoind -server
then i run ./pushpoold - E -F

after than I should be able to mine on the pushpool mining port correct?

well im using guiminer from another machine on my network

but the pushpoold never gets to the initialized screen
2236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: July 28, 2011, 10:54:13 PM
I really want to get this working, I will pay 5 BTC to the person who gets this working for me tonight!
2237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: July 28, 2011, 10:51:42 PM
ok I set bitcoind to be on port 8331

started it up - its running
I can connect my miner directly to that on port 8331 using the rpcusername and password (just to test the connection)

I edited server.json so the rpcurl http://127.0.0.1:8331

this is what I got on the pushpool screen:

tom@BitCoinMinersUnion:/home/pushpool/sbin$ ./pushpoold -E -F

[2011-07-28 22:48:7.708102] Listening on host :: port 8342
[2011-07-28 22:48:7.708348] Listening on host :: port 8341
[2011-07-28 22:48:7.708427] Listening on host :: port 8332
[2011-07-28 22:48:7.708499] Listening on host 127.0.0.1 port 8338

you said to connect the miner to 8341 and that would connect to push pool? but its not working

any ideas?

2238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: July 28, 2011, 10:41:49 PM

[2011-07-28 22:35:8.091291] Listening on host 127.0.0.1 port 8338

does that mean I should be connecting the miners to port 8338?

2239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: July 28, 2011, 10:33:08 PM
i dont know whats going on man
nothing will run on port 8333 now
keeps saying address already in use

i had this problem last night and I forgot how i fixed it

thank you for helping but now im in worse shape then when i started ;/
2240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: July 28, 2011, 10:17:47 PM
I changed everything the way you told me to
but now I keep getting this when I start bitcoind
