It's a scam 99%. DO NOT COMPLETE ANY OFFERS. You'd be giving him/her money away (he earns money for each offer completed).
If anyone actually wants to try it, do so. But come on, not even the "log in" link works and he's using free hosting.

With the faucet script, how am I able to display the current faucet balance?

Open "index.php" and change
Code:
// Display the faucet balance or hide it? true or false
$displayFaucetBalance = false;

To:
Code:
// Display the faucet balance or hide it? true or false
$displayFaucetBalance = true;
2223  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange Now Open with USD, EUR, BTC, LTC, XRP, NMC on: December 18, 2013, 12:27:45 PM
Hi,

monday around lunch i withdrawed some money via SEPA from kranken to my local bank.
Today, also at lunch time, it arrived on my bank account. Had no problems so far.
So I assume this only happens to some people? Or to some countries/banks?
Kraken, could you please let us know if there are any problems with SEPA withdrawals?
2224  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange Now Open with USD, EUR, BTC, LTC, XRP, NMC on: December 17, 2013, 09:08:36 PM
13 days since last response from support... Ticket 4747

I've also noticed that for every failed SEPA transfer, you're charged €5 to deposit the money back into your Kraken account?!

Is that true? And what is reasons for failed SEPA transfers at all?

That's the exact same question I've got Wink  They're looking into it. SEPA transfers were working flawless and all of a sudden they didn't anymore. I didn't change anything at my end, so it has to be something on their end or their bank.

I've called my bank, but they send me back to Kraken's bank. They should see an errorcode/message.
Hope this gets solved, since I would like to sell some Bitcoins through Kraken but I'm not sure if this is the right time. Please update us if this gets solved, and what was their explanation.
Also, I understand they'll refund you the 5€, right? I mean, you did nothing wrong, it was their bank's failure.

I mined around 20 Bitbars, which equaled to around 0.8 BTC couple of weeks ago. Looks like I was on a fork and they never confirmed sadly. SO right now I am stuck with my 0.00001 something BTC. I'm trying to mine Altcoins in order to fund a telescope an mound. I'd need around 2.2 BTC for that. But most of the things I mine turn out to flop on Cryptsy.
Maybe if you're patient those coins will end up being something. Hope you get your telescope soon Smiley

Thank you! I wonder if people here would be interested in my star pictures when I do get that telescope?Reading about Faucets I gave them a go and got some 0.000****1's! Better then nothing Smiley Plus someone sent me 2.5 FTC. At least they appeared in my wallet recently. No idea where from Smiley
I'm sure many people here would like to have star pictures. They have lots of possibilities - almost everyone likes stars, but not many have a telescope to be able to see them properly Smiley

Please advertise this service in the Services section....
If he wasn't joking you'd be right - but I think this would be moved here if it was posted in the Services section Grin

I've made money online, from my applications. About 50k$.
I spent 36k$+ but I can't find where I spent all of these  Grin 14k is in my paypal..
What kind of apps do you develop? Looks interesting Smiley

I finished that job, I reached my nirvana Tongue They were android games and apps for Google Play.
I've been willing to try coding some of those for ages. Now I see they're that rewarding, I want to do it more than ever Grin

If you want, only thing you need to do is download eclipse and adt, start coding.
I will, and I'll try it this week. I'll finally get into Android Smiley
2229  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much money have you ever made online? on: December 16, 2013, 12:04:10 AM
So far not too bad.  I've made 0.52BTC in the last 2 months.  Half from advertising revenue, the other have from faucets, and gambling wins from free BTC.  Can't go wrong with that I guess!

oh wait..i completely forgot about my addiction to gambling via poker and sports betting.  Made a couple $k from that..but nothing too crazy!
I guess you where lucky to end up winning, and a very nice win Smiley

Wait!.. So you are saying you can use Bitcoin to pay in restaurants Huh
Yes! There are many real-life businesses starting to accept Bitcoin Smiley

Oh so those guys are Russians and South Americans, eh! Thanks for the chart buddy, it helped Smiley
No. I am Western European (definitely not Russian) and I fall in the green area.

Common sense should work. If not, make sure that you're not responsible for someone else's fault.
He thinks the whole European continent is Russia. That should be enough answer.

The new coins. I am sure there will be a ChristmasCoin Grin, since there new coins are launched every day each with a more absurd name and purpose Cheesy.
2234  Other / Off-topic / Re: Amazon drones, lol on: December 15, 2013, 08:25:55 PM
Am I the only one that notices the drones will provably deliver the package to an address, NOT A PERSON (are they really waiting for a signature or checking someone from inside the house gets the package?), I understand, outside the house? If so anyone can
  • Steal the package
  • Steal the drone while they're delivering (this has obviously already been said by everyone Smiley )
?
I can't see how this will work. Or have I missed something?
2235  Other / Off-topic / Re: Problems buying with bitcoins at restaurant. on: December 15, 2013, 08:21:35 PM
Clearly this person had no idea what he was doing. Coinbase is not a great mobile wallet unless you want to generate addresses. Coinbase keeps ~90% of their user funds in cold storage and 10% in their hot wallet. This is great for security! Horrible for making mobile payments, cause I bet they also do a lot of checks before sending out payments. So I use blockchain for my wallet on the iphone cause they will always have the funds.
For a real-life businesses, the apps they provide for smartphones are easy to use. So many of those who have started accepting Bitcoin have decided to use their services. It's not easy for them to understand that, even though it might be easy to use, it doesn't work properly.

Around 2 btc gambling mainly. Trying to resist now as the bank always wins in the long run.
Congrats on winning! And well done - it's best to stop when you're winning - or you'll always end up losing.
2238  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much btc to kick YOUR Boss in the nuts? on: December 15, 2013, 12:54:35 PM
Are you offering your services? Is this legal? Or just a joke? Cheesy
2239  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much money have you ever made online? on: December 15, 2013, 12:32:36 PM
About 7BTC. Mainly from faucets and giveaways!
That's a lot for being from just faucets / giveaways Smiley Congratulations! Do you still keep some of it, or have you sold it all?
2240  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you use - Windows, Linux or Mac? [POLL] on: December 15, 2013, 10:30:57 AM
I use Windows 7, because gaming is what I'm into, and Linux as well as Mac lacks in this situation.
Well, there are lots of great games in Linux, but, at the end of the day, most are released for Windows. I guess it's just because most of the people are using it Smiley
