Everyhing seems somehow top scripty for me....
Jr Members has sold an iPhone 6 without pictures? I think the trade wasnt done with an escrow, if yes, may the escrow proof it?
But why did the buyer get a S5, not an iPhone?!

Sorry my bad, there was a typo. I got and 5S not S5.

But still blocked....

So he sold you a blocked phone? Is he doing anything to fix it for you?

The original deal was a 3 months old factory unlocked phone, 16gb.

He sent me a new one but 32gb.

The phone was locked to O2 network.

I've tried to unlock it but in the meantime the phone got blocked.

Now I'm waiting for the solution....

Ah ok hope you get it unblocked.

Hi all,

I need 0.2btc for a purchase and have some Paypal funds to use. I'll send as a gift so pretty sure it cant be reversed. It can I've looked into it more, but I wont be doing that.

Have bought btc in the past with this method without problems.

My Paypal account is verified and over 10 years old.

Yes I have reset / updated my password recently but it was for a legitimate reason there's nothing to worry about, I'm still the original account owner.

I sent you PM.

Thanks for the PM I have replied.

I now have the btc I needed so will be locking this thread. Thanks to those that contacted me Smiley.

You may want to update your OP for accuracy.

Yeah I've looked into this some more and it can be charged back for different reasons. I will update OP.

I also forgot to put that that my Paypal account is over 10 years old and verified.

Anyone that thinks I would scam for 0.2 is mad, I've got more than that in loose change in my car ashtray.

2228  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 0.2 BTC With Paypal Will Send As Gift on: April 09, 2015, 06:37:22 AM
I could do .1 for you if you would like.

That's very nice of you thanks how much are you asking?
2229  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 0.2 BTC With Paypal Will Send As Gift on: April 08, 2015, 03:34:54 PM
Thanks for the advice yes I recently reset my password because I'd been using the same one since joining and felt it wasn't very strong.

Changing the password is not the same as resetting it. Now you have lied and been caught. This makes you look even worse.

What the fuck are you talking about? How's about you keep your nose out of my business. This is my account don't you dare suggest otherwise.

I wanted to log into my account from another device while I was away from home and couldn't remember the password so I reset the password and changed it because it hadn't been changed since I created the account over a year ago. Plus it was fairly weak so I was planning to do it anyway. Is that ok with you???

Have you really got nothing better to do than stick your nose in other peoples business and throw unfounded accusations around?

PayPal can always be charged back, even if sent as gift. However with your trust most probably you'll find a deal.
I just recommend you to sign a message with a BTC address published several months ago on an unedited post, because of this: "This user's password was reset recently.".
Otherwise there's no guarantee you're the same person that got that trust.

Thanks for the advice yes I recently reset my password because I'd been using the same one since joining and felt it wasn't very strong.

I thought if Paypal was sent as a gift or to friends / family it couldn't or was more difficult to reverse but I could be wrong.

I'm waiting on a reply from s1liverbox as I've bought some btc from him lately but I'll do as you say tomorrow if I don't hear back as time for bed soon.

Which weighs more ,a pound of feather or a pound of gold..... a troy pound of gold...HuhHuh?

If placed in vacuum and dropped from 10 m height, which of the mentioned lots will hit the ground first? Cheesy

Let a BBC video explain it for you, testing in the biggest vacuum chamber of the world (used to test spaceships) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E43-CfukEgs

Waus, that is a serious vacuum chamber.
I really enjoyed that video thanks for sharing.

Did you notice the host used the term "cubic feet"... I always amaze me (from a scientific point of view) that some parts of the world don't use SI units.

That's a really interesting video. I like Professor Brian Cox he does some excellent documentaries about space and science for the BBC.

Absolutely, I was supposed to work and ended up watching 45 min of documentaries with Brian Cox (damn you cyclops!) Cheesy

Ha ha I often do the same interesting documentaries are very distracting Cheesy.

I advice you not to start looking at ant documentaries, really disturbing. BTW here is an ant-related channel were you will lose some more time: https://www.youtube.com/user/anthillart

and then, after seeing all the videos in the channel and you are left wondering what have you done, (nothing profitable) read this article on procrastination http://waitbutwhy.com/2013/10/why-procrastinators-procrastinate.html

Just watched an anthillart video that's pretty amazing thanks for the link Smiley.

I'll watch the other one another time Wink.

http://www.techvibes.com/blog/bitgold-2015-03-14

This article , If im reading it correctly, says that the individual pieces of gold have a unique number.....

OP, does your cube have that number which they are talking about....Huh

10g stamped on one side and the bitgold logo stamped on another side.

I haven't been able to find anything strange or unusual about it's makeup, weight, etc. and I have owned gold bullion myself of different sizes from different mints over the years.

Could you please post some more photos showing the other sides of the cube ideally with your username and date on a piece of paper.
2238  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Has mining (vs. simply buying) ever been profitable? on: April 05, 2015, 01:19:47 PM
Mining hasn't been profitable in the UK for a long time even with the latest efficient hardware. I've been running my miners at a loss until recently simply because I like supporting the network and its an interesting hobby. It was also creating some heat during the winter months to offset the loss a little.

Now its spring and its warmed up I cant justify the expense any more so have just sold them and doubt very much whether it'll be worth mining again.

Very sad times indeed Undecided.

1) Is there an advantage to choosing "No" or "It doesn't matter" in the poll?
2) Is there a 50/50 chance those answers both mean the same thing?
3) Is there no advantage, since there's 100% absolutely no difference in their meaning?

Having posted 3 questions above, is there a 0%, 33%, 50%, 66%, or 100% chance that one of them is a logical question? Cheesy

I find them very logical indeed, it's all about the law of excluded middle Smiley

I admit that there's an ambiguity in the formulation between something that is not to your advantage and something that is to your disadvantage.

Christ that's complex looking forward to the answer Smiley
