Anyone have any tips on getting the accountid from a public key?
static long getId(byte[] publicKey) throws Exception { byte[] publicKeyHash = MessageDigest.getInstance("SHA-256").digest(publicKey); BigInteger bigInteger = new BigInteger(1, new byte[] {publicKeyHash[7], publicKeyHash[6], publicKeyHash[5], publicKeyHash[4], publicKeyHash[3], publicKeyHash[2], publicKeyHash[1], publicKeyHash[0]}); return bigInteger.longValue(); }
I found this snippet in the source code but trying to replicate in JS gives me no results. Any help?

Yes selling now is only good if you are a skilled daytrader and can exploit the obvious declining price until its at 15000. NXT doesn't have fees, so it could be possible.
NXT does have fees. 1 NXT to place an order, 1 to cancel it. The trading doesn't have fees, only the placement of the orders have. So I would say it has no fees. Also if you buy a 1,000,000 NXT order you still only pay 1 NXT ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I want a statement from the Team and from Bill saying how many coins the team members each buy coins. This is a sign of beleiving in their own coin but too much would be bad too!

When does NEM launch? I have about 25K of NXt, and a 1 million stake in NEM is around 19-20K of NXT. Is it likely to get up to 1 cent per NEM any time soon?
hold for about 6 months.. beta is (roughly estimated) in august. if you still have a stake by then you will be one happy puppy! why bail out before it makes the largest jump in price... Yes selling now is only good if you are a skilled daytrader and can exploit the obvious declining price until its at 15000. NXT doesn't have fees, so it could be possible. Other than that, HODL and BIG OR BROKE!

I had user barrabas on ignored, now I see why in the quotes ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Forged 4 blocks this week only run it for a few hours a day with 300K NXT so, argument invalid Cool, now I just have to buy 300K NXT. Now where did I put those extra 27 bitcoins? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) If you had 30k NXT you can forge 1/10th of his blocks. So 0.4 Blocks worth 0.4 blockfees and 0.4 NSC. Still 4-6 NXT worth! well, I just (10 mins ago) made my first purchase, 4000 NXT (how will that forge?). Seems like a drop in the bucket. I bought them on ShareX. The Ask's seemed a bit high, but BTER's seemed to come up pretty close to meeting it, so I figured, what's 15 or so sat per NXT? It worked to about $.035 USD. Yea, I know, I'm a bad trader. I'm thinking of converting my NAUT to NXT too. NXT seems so much more exciting and useful. Decisions/decisions. if you bought at 0.035 $ you are a genious ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) 0.053 I guess. 4000 is not much, son you have to know that you will probably lose money with electricity cost. You could lease your forging power but that costs 1 NXT, and if my intutition is not completely wrong, you will forge less in 1 month (ignoring the NSC). You misread my message. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I said I spent .035 cents in total (9150 vs 9010) more buying at ShareX than I would have on BTER. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Yes, I was pretty sure $4k wouldn't forge me anything. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I'm speculating on price and HODling (as some here like to spell). Might by a few assets too, like the auction site and maybe something else. Not sure yet. I've been adding $x a month to my portfolio, 50% BTC and 50% alt-coins. Oh, and my PC is on 100% of the time anyway, mostly folding at home. So, keeping a few PoS wallets open doesn't add anything to the cost. Oh! If PC is on anyway you can forge for free (nearly free), I do the same. I play(ed) semi-professional poker and did the same, spent 50% of my weekly earnings on cryptos. I build a very nice portfolio over the last year(s)

Not mine. But someone just sent 800 BTC to a Gox address. Judging by the amount he sent, I can't tell of it's the worst decision he's made, nonetheless, it's still a pretty bad one. I for one hope he gets them back!
yeah I read that too on reddit. I'm not sure if it is a bad beat for him or a good beat for us creditors ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Hello I have another question for the experienced nexters ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Is it possible to sign a message from(in) the NXT client like it it is possible to sign a message using some BTC wallets (blockchain.info). Thanks. yes. What client do you use? Currently I don't use any client but probably I will use the built in web client the NSR, when needed. You will find a token in the web client that is called "generate token". And the field where it says "website" you can use to enter your message. clicking generate signs the message with the private phrase.
