excuse me? are you talking to me?

lol please dont involve me in your nonsense.

that trust rating was given in the first weeks of GAW's life, when they actually sent out good and services, if I could delete it I would, I have tried.

Plus I have openly stated here and other places many times that i was in error on my support of GAW, and apologized to the people i may have insulted.

So take this else where and pick on another guy.

thanks..and good bye.

What the fuck ever. You were power shilling for Paycoin and Garza long after it was exposed as an obvious fraud operation.

A lot of people were...  Hell, I wanted to believe that Garza hadn't bent me over.  People are passionate about money man.  It's easy to get emotional.

Leave the guy alone.  GAW tricked a lot of us.

So, he should get a pass for power shilling a hardcore fraud operation, long after even the dullest imbecile had figured out that Paycoin was a fraud scheme, and now he is here power shilling something associated with that last fraud scam and looks to be another one?

Uhhh, Wut?

I like you Paul.  But you are clouding your original message at this point.  Don't put your emotions before logic.

I lost thousands on GAW.  I didn't believe the bullshit I was being fed as long as this guy did...but I WANTED to believe that I didn't lose as much as I did.

There is a difference between losing money in a scam and heavily shilling for it. According to the SEC 10k+ "investors" may have lost money. Only a small fraction were inclined to CONTRIBUTE to the scam by shilling for it. buckrogers here and a few others including EvilPanda's group of paid shills were exceptionally militant.

tl;dr: Sorry for your loss. Shills don't get a free pass.

But all that is getting off topic. I still don't see anybody trying to defend this BitStone thing with some logic. Yelling at Paul Revere isn't going to make the questions go away.

Wait, I was paid? wheres my money? I could use it now Smiley

yea I have the A-300:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Cool-style-USB-2-0-HUB-Charger-10-ports-with-CE-ROHS-FCC-certification/1938705_32513481030.html

looks according to the specs only 600mA per port...sucks.

I would still like to know if there is a way in general to test the max Amp per port on a US hub manually?
Thanks!
2237  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: November 21, 2015, 10:26:00 PM

yea exactly just branded by the old BUYAHASH

and on their old link at microcenter they say each port can do 1A:

http://www.microcenter.com/product/431863/10-port_usb_20_hub_w-_power_supply

I don't know if that's true, since they error out with the same voltage settings on the compacs from the usb 3 hub to that one.

AND if it was true, then they wouldnt be beeping.... and actually would have more Amperage per port than a standard powered USB 3 which i believe is like 900ma.

what do you think? only 500ma per port?

thanks!

sdit: on that link, which is the same hub, it says:

"Can charge to 10pcs Cell Phone or others electronic products at one time and can provide about 500 MA charge current"

Now, that is charging not data, so I wonder if it actaully can do up to 1A per port if it isnt in chargning mode?
2238  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: November 21, 2015, 09:32:44 PM
USB is 5V

A 12V switch has an internal regulator, you have to open the switch to check.

Or plug a device with a known amp rating in a port and see if it works Smiley

I'm absolutely not qualified to give you a better answer Smiley

I've bought 3 hubs already and have another one in transit.

I'll buy stuff until I find one that works for my 6 sticks
Then i'll buy more sticks and I'll have to start all over again

LOL

60W /10ports = 6W per port = 1.2A @ 5V.
If the on-board electronics allows it.

Right thats what i thought and was advertised, but it could be coded into the electronics to only do 500ma each.
I just have no way to test the Amp per port unless someone does.

thanks!

Back of power brick:

AC/DC Adapter

input: 100-240V-50/60Hz 1.5A
Output: +12V ----5.0A

So the brick says 5 Amps

But the watts come to 60
SO I'm no electrician, but it ads up to being more than capable to handle 1A per port on the 10 Port with 60 watts.

BUT....on he bottom it says (the English parts)

10 USB (HUB)
A-300
DC 12V
USB 2.0

then there are 1- 4 in Chinese, and line 3 says:

USB 500mA

So that would lead me to believe that each of the 10 ports is set to a max of 500mA? am I wrong?

I only ask because the review on that hub said that each port can do 1A

I haven't had much luck with the same settings on the USB 2.0 Hub that i am getting on the USB 3.0 Hub

Meaning that the settings on the compac are the same as far as Voltage ~ .77 each and Mhz set to 300, i am getting the beeping sounds on the compac when in the USB 2.0 hub but not the USB 3.0 one.

Thanks!

best place to purchase the y cables?

and also how to test amps per port?

Ebay for Y cables

http://m.ebay.fr/itm/USB-2-0-Female-A-to-Dual-A-Male-Data-Y-Cable-HDD-Power-Supply-Cord-/221661361513?txnId=1647376930012

Drok tester or USB doctor will give you Amp, but you need load... and you need to simultaneously test several ports you plan to use to check for Amp balancing...

So there is no way of telling besides the sticker on the bottom of the hub how to test each individual ports max capacity? If you put a load on 1 of 10 ports, you can see the Amps of that specific usb stick .....no?

How will that tell you what the max Amps are though for that port?

I'm asking because I bought that 10 port us 2.0 hub which has a 60 watt PSU, and the description claimed to do 1Amp per port or more, but on the bottom in chinese it said something about usb: 500ma lol

So without purchasing a specific USB hub that states on the unit it can handle 1A or more per port, how would you test a generic USB 2.0 or 3.0 Hub for that matter to see what the max A per port can be.

Theoretically the one i have at 60watts feeding it should be able to ahndle 1A per port, but the actaul usb port may be configured to max ut at 500ma, you see what im saying?

thanks!
