Is Roma trying to revolutionise the team because the players that already gone like salahand players most likely to follow like Nainggolan and Antonio Rudiger also propably Leandro Paredes would leave and it will be a huge hit for them unless the new director of football Monchi have some plans in mind the ex director of football of Sevilla is known for turning unknown players to stars and then sell them for a fair fee to top clubs and i think that the best way to replace Salah is to get either gerard deulofeu from.barcelona as permanent transfert or loan also Suso from Milain still did not renew his contract and he would be a great player to get him in.

Portugal vs Mexico will be comoeting for the bronze medal of FIFA Confederations Cup with both teams  failed to prove that tgey are good to be in the final they have now atleast show their best as bith of them showed some moteriel earlier and tgat made them want to go to the final in this tournament so I expect an open game here without pressure for both teams and a lot of goals. In the group finished 2-2 in the head to head meeting also Mexico have a very good offensive line but they are strungling with defense while Portugal propably have slightly better defense but at the end i expect to see bith of them scoring.
2223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 Football Summer Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 01, 2017, 12:35:42 PM
Everton seems to be preparing themselves well for the next english premier league season to challenge for higher standings in the table, the club have spend huge amount of funds to sign up Morgan Schneiderlin, Davy Klaassen, Jordan Pickford and Ademola Lookman, this would definitely boost up the quality for the team in the upcoming new season.

I really like the movement of Everton in this summer transfer market. They move very fast in strengthening the team. The arrival of Klaseen is enough to shock me. Also the arrival of youngster Lookman is a good thing. Lookman has played very well in the euro.

Yup, they're buying Micheal Keane from Burnley as well, which is an excellent acquisition.  I wonder what stopped Man United from pursuing him.

In other news, Kyle Walker is finally talking with Man City.  He'll really be a good addition on Pep's squad if they get him.
yeah i'm liking what Everton doing as they are preparing for a season wirhout Lukaku infront as they are making some impressive moves. I like the signings of Klaassen and Pickford and Michael Keane, if the rumours are correct, would also be a good signing. Seems like they're trying to strengthen all areas of their squad to make up for losing Lukaku's goals (assuming he is leaving, which I think is a given). I don't think it'll be enough to close the gap on the top 6, but it should be enough to keep them in there usual spot just behind the top 6 teams in England.

Alrxis Sanchez said that he decided where he will be playing next season but he still didn't reveal his destination news reports saying that he is close to join his former coach Pep Guardiola at Manchester City while Arsenal.bid for Lemar is yurned down by Monaco. So it's clearly that he wouldn't be staying at Arsenal as they are trying to replace him but they are still not serious enough 35 Million Euro is a bar minimum for an average player as we are now seeing the huge transfer fees getting payed for today playets also Monaco is not rushed to.cash out on him.yet maybe he will be their next bog player to cash him after Mbappe.

Steph Curry has signed off new contract with Golden State champion for another five years, for which he will be rewarded with $ 201,000,000. It's about the so-called "supermax contract" - the best ever signed in the NBA, for the first time in history has exceeded the limit of $ 200,000,000 - absolutely earned for one of the best players of today, as he has not been on the list of top 30 basketball players In the league.
for someone who won both mvp and the championship it is well deserved We had before in past seasons kobe, garnett and the big shaq got to be the league's highest paid. But it will be insane for the GSW to keep all of there big four players together when Thompson becomes a free agent in 2019 and Green in 2020? They'll be in tax territory with those just those 4 players. If they keep them together, the Warriors will be paying an obscene amount of tax in 2021. They will to be champions every season to keep the cash flow in.
2226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 29, 2017, 02:10:47 PM
I think coming season will be a great season for football fans, Ac Milan have gathered a couple of good players. Juventus are waiting for some negotiating matter, Roma and Napoli are also trying to collect some players..so next year's league will be competitive in a high rate...

Yes that's what we are hoping for so that the serie A will regain its lost glory. Juventus are already a complete team, same as Napoli but we need international , Roma and AC Milan to add up to complement the competitiveness of the league.

The next season will be more balanced than in the past.
Ac Milan is building a great team, Inter has taken an excellent coach, Napoli is ready to win the Serie A.
In addition, the top four will qualify directly for champion's League (groups).

At the moment the odds for the winner of the Serie A are:

Juventus @1.55
Napoli     @5.50
Roma      @7.50
Inter       @9.00
Ac Milan @10.00
Juventus always be favorite to be the winner in last some years, it's will continue until roma can compete with them but i think as roma isn't seriously to build their team because they has sell some player that have potetial. so maybe juventus will get serie A thropy for seven times in a row.

Well, i'm not surprised Juventus got that small odds for be the winner of the Serie A next season. Serie A is like bundeliga thought, only bayern munchen that havve a high chance to be the winner. In Serie A, juventus it is. That's why some people said serie a and bundesliga is boring because the winner only that 2 teams.

Serie A used to be very competitive with Roma, Inter Milan, AC Milan,Juventus and even Napoli but all these other teams have dwindled with time with only Juventus currently standing strong but it does make them comparable to the bundesliga which has become overly dominated by Bayern Munich.
for next season i don't think that it will see a change on the Serie A winner Juventus have been too strong for the other Italian teams to compete against but with both Milan sides got new Chinese investors trying to get them back at to be in the top teams in Italy and Europe.  So the only intresting thing would be who wil finish runner up and third and whom would be in the Europa League because Napoli and Roma have been solid teams constantly getting in Championsleague for past couple seasons and propanly the season after this onecan be more exiting to see.
i dont think so,Serie a will change and more competitive,so far we already knowing that AC Milan have bought many new player for next season, while Napoli or roma still not,and also juventus, they still calm, this is can be dangerous signal for other team in Serie A,Milan will be back, will compete juventus for Serie A tittle, lets wait until Milan signing Hakan Calhanoglu and Lucas Biglia, they really back!
in my opinion it's still unlikely possible for AC Milain to be next year champion even if they bringed all of the players they needed to be Champions because m9ney alone don't build a team from scratch players need to settled in and get more familiar with each other look at Manchester City last season they were already a team that can lift the league with Guardiola and more signings it looked like that they will be unstoppable but at the end they came out empty handed so they still need time to adjust and best thing their goal would be a Championsleague spot for the season after.

I think that today game will be difficult to predict the wonner of it Germany is a big team but they decided to bring all youngsters in to test them and add them the best of them to the main squad while mexico have been good at offense scoring two goals in each game of their last 3 games with Germany is looking better as they have showed good potentiel at a young age while Mexico were in a slightly more difficult group, with the Portuguese side, Portugal, and the hosts Russia  But both teams also have some problems in their defenses, while the attack is very good. That is why we expect goals on both sides.
2228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 29, 2017, 01:36:33 PM
Wow big trade Chris Paul to Houston I think they are strong now like the Warriors
I was surprise by the move, I hope he can really help because they do not have a good point guard.
now that paul is here, the ball movement will surely be well, I hope they will also improve their defense.

offensivly I think they are same level with Warriors but defensively they will miss Beverley. How would the ball handling duties go too... James Harden is very effective when ball dominant what happens to CP3 on offense when Harden is on tripledouble mode

With Chris Paul Houston getting much stronger and now is definitely the second team of the Western Conference. I think they will arrive at the conference finals next season, but Golden State is a perfect car and next year will still win the ring and make new records!
It will be intrsting to see what the Clippers have in planned. they have to make a decision on Blake Griffin next. are they going full rebuild or do they have a plan for a quick fix? who's calling the shots, Doc Rivers or Jerry West? if West has final say the Clippers should be able to fix the mess pretty well. if not it could get ugly and of course they won't just settle for cash. They love stockpiling 2nd round picks.I think it is safe to assume, Clippers would cut Liggins, Hilliard and Wiltjers before July comes.

Portugal vs Chile : Portugal easily qualified first in the group A of Confederations Cup they started rough against Mexico but later they had 2 wins and now they will be having a difficult game against Xhile the semi finals. On the other hand Chile is South American champion and won Copa America in 2 consecutive years, so they are very good side which knows how to play in knock out games and the last meeting between those two ended with 1-1. Now, Portugal are in good form with strong performance in defense and 2 consecutive clean sheets and Chile knows how to do it right so i expect and under 2.5 goals in the game

Looks like Lacazette to the Gunners is beginning to be a done deal.  But how better does he play compared to Giroud tho.  I heard comments that for the price Arsenal is paying for him, it's not that good of a deal as he's not a big 'upgrade' to take Giroud's place.

Can anybody comment on that?
yeah for that Price tag it's a ripp off 65Million Euro is the asking price of Lyon but that is the price Arsenal have to payy for missing on a Championsleague spot so they have to use money to lure decent players and make them join them and for the player his stats is good as he scored 28 goals in 30 League games and 100 goal in 203 league appearances. The French Ligue is a much les weaker then the BPL and so many hits and misses from players that shined in France but in my opinion any player will be a big upgrade from Giroud and with Arsenal having talks to sell him to West Ham or get some of their money back when they can trade him for Lacazette

I've heard mixed comments.  The people at the Twoplustwo forum, who are total football fanatics and some of the best fantasy football players online are saying Lacazette is not that big of an upgrade to Giroud.  They didn't mention any better candidates than Lacazette tho.
Lacazette will be a good addition for Arsenal not a great player but still a good one he have benn a scoring machine for Lyon in the the last three seasons and with Atletico wanting to sign him before the ban shows us that he have the potential and in my point of view, Arsenal is the right trackas they are trying to get rid of Giroud and the most important thing that Arsenal should do before any contract is to try to keep Sanchez and up his salary instead of buying new players playing the same I think that the lack of defense and weakness is more important than the lack of offensive and should not ignore the contract with new defenders or the relationship of one defender and ignore the offer Barcelona to buy Bellerin.

On the side not, congratulations to RUSSELL WESTBROOK for winning this years MVP award. That guy deserve the award with the performance he put up this year and how he carried OKC to playoffs.

Russel Westbrook deserve the MVP award. The way he carry his team on his shoulder. Playing tremendous since day 1 of the Elimation round up to play offs. He's a triple-double machine. Hope Westbrook will get a good back court duo in the upcoming NBA season.
Congrats to him, he deserve the win, if only he has a good partner like the ability of Durant they could have advance at least in the 2nd round.
There is a lot of improvement in the coming season, no doubt westbrook can get another MVP award but I am hoping Thunder will also improve as a team.
Congrats to Russ on an incredible season and the award. I love Westbrook, I love that he's keeping us in the playoffs.
Yeah i agree with Russ being crowned MVP of the season. he did everything for the Thunder. and thats also the problem. does he make his teammates better? I dont think he does. thats why I dont think you can build a championship team around Russ. he is a one man team. its hard to say who you should pair up with Russ because even with KD it didnt always work that well. it was isolation basketball for both of them. While i didn't like it seeing Lebron finishing 4rth it's clearly he is better then that Lebron missed 8 games this year Cavs lost all 8.. Kawhi missed multiple games and Spurs won most of them.. Russ missed one game and his team mates lifted and won the game... so he is atleast at top 3.

It's Crazy how players fees taking huge  jump the difference in fees that PL clubs can now pay.More to the point even the smaller Premier League clubs no longer have to sell. For example Swansea have turned down an offer of £30m for siggurdson also West Brom turned down £15m for Evans. It's not exactly a matter of what they can pay. The market has gone Insane in terms of the valuation of players, but the rise there does not necessarily correspond to the rise in money available to teams. They want a lot because they know they will have to pay a lot more to find proper replacement.

Barcelona is back for the hunt for Liverpool player Philippe Coutinho trying to get him at the midfield as an alternative plan if he failed to complete the contract with Italian Marco Verrati .Barcelona is now failing to convince PSG to make them sell Veratti  so they are now turning to Coutinho, and the Bulograna has been with the player for months to discuss the possibility of contracting him, explaining that the player welcomed the move to the Camp Nou, but Liverpool will not sell him for less than 90 million euros with coutinho being linked to Barcelona for a long time we may finaly see him.play side to side with Neymar.

More rumors about the Cavs still pursuing Paul George. This one involves a three team deal to Denver which would get Kevin Love. Kenneth Faried will also land at Cleveland. I'm not sure how that would work out but it's definitely very interesting for the Cavs if they can pull it off. As there are no more details I also don't understand what Indiana gets so I guess we'll have to wait and see. I very much doubt Jokic is involved.

Is paul george will really be a good addition to cavs? He is playing the same position as lebron most of the time but he can also be a sg. I just want to know what people think.

For me, if Paul George will adjust his usual role he is a good addition to Cleveland Cavaliers. Remember Dwayne Wade? He's the one who adjust on Lebron James' playing style back in Miami Heat's triumvirate that's why no such thing as selfish play most of the time and Spoelstra can rotate players freely.

Compare to Kevin Love, Paul George can be an all around player both defense and offense. What Cavaliers needs is to market some of their guard especially J.R Smith and enhanced their center lineup.
Right now there is no player that I see will fit the cavaliers, Paul George should be the man, he can compete with Lebron James but if they play together they should be a scary team. Well, they need to prepare for the warriors, they were beaten badly in the Finals and as a champion they have the pride to restore their dominance. I vote for Paul George in cavaliers, offense will improve more since he is also a good 3 point shooter.

Majority will love to see Paul George playing with Lebron. But isn't their roster will be on a hybrid? I think the chemistry for the current roster of Cavs is already good. Probably George can be a good addition for them as long as he can adjust since he is a versatile player. They will be able to make it again in the finals.
i don't think that is a great idea for the Cavs to trade Love they swept thru the Eastern conference with a strong team including Love. I believe it will disrupt chemistry if they make changes and dump the Love. We've seen it before in Lakerland. Chemistry is key. Best case scenario is like the warriors. All intact, and add Durant. But, just taking out Love, and adding George, may not be enough to overtake the chip. They've built strong ties with Love they need to find out a way to keep Love and bring George then they may have a shot at the title after that who knows maybe Lebron would decide to stay.
2237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 25, 2017, 04:09:30 AM
Who thinks that Lebron wouldn't be leaving Cleveland. It is very difficult for them to trade him as th3y have never made the finals without him in their history and now make it every year with him. Finals appearances are not an easy thing. You don't just give that up. Another exciting season with every game sold out and the Cavs in the finals with a shot at winning is better than trading Lebron for almost anything so i don't think they will be willing to sell the farm for a potential 1 year rental of him. Especially with all the power he usually wields in the front office and staff.
2238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 Football Summer Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 25, 2017, 03:44:23 AM
Sanchez denied the rumors linking him to Bayern Munich after becoming Chile national team top scorer when he scored his last goal against Germany with Bayern now out of the way i see him either going to Manchester City or Chelsea because he got just one year left in his contract with Arsenal so it is the same scernario like Robin Van Persie When united snatched him with nit so large fee . I think Sanchez will want to win the Premier league and both those teams can be a strong contendors for that title next season City made many changes from last season and Chelsea is not clear vision yet but i expect from them to fight to retain the title.
Sanchez still has one more year left on Arsenal, and Arsenal still needs Alexis Sanchez's services. We have to admit, Sanchez is carrying a very heavy burden on Arsenal, his role in the team is very important. I'm not sure Arsenal can find a proper replacement, not many players like Alexis Sanchez.

It would be stupid for the Gunners not to sell Sanchez away to a club outside of the EPL.  He has only one year left as said and he doesn't want to sign a new contract.  The club has no choice but to cash in on him now than to risk him becoming a free agent next year and would sign vs their league rivals anyway.

But let's see what Lol_Wenger would do.  Grin
If indeed Sanchez had to get out of the arsenal, Arsenal is not only stupid if it does not sell sanchez to the outside team England, but also very crazy jila Arsenal release Alexis Sanchez their rivals in the Premier League. We know how Sanchez plays a role in Arsenal, if Sanchez is released to rivals such as Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal made a very fatal mistake since then.

Yeah, that would be terrible for Arsenal. I guess what they will do is keep him, offer him a good team and then try to negociate a prolongation.
Arsenal now have found their replacement for Oliver Giroud as they are close to sign Alexandre Lacazette of Lyon for £44 million he was very close to join Atletico Madrid this summer but the deal fell through due to their transfer ban.The transfer fee will be the record signing for the gunners after it wil beating the £42.5 million fee Arsenal paid for Ozil in 2013.not sure what if he will be also replacing Sanchez as Giroud was not the starter in all competitions by the way Giroud is having talks with potential deal with West Ham.

Is Paulinho agent is joking because he is saying that Barcelona is trying to sign him over a potential i know Paris Saint-Germain's is not goiving up Marco Verratti easily but the reports emerged of their interest in Guangzhou Evergrande's Paulinho Is a nonsense there is so many players can be more suitable to get but Paulinho is not going to offer much for Barcelona if he was so good why would Tottenham sell him or no other European team seen potential in him and lure him to their club instead he is now playing to get a good paycheck in China i th8nk the best Decision for Barcelona is try to sign Delle Ali from Tottenham because he have much potential to be a great star.

as usual Juventus will be the most favourite with low odds for most of sportbooks and indeed Milan has buy several talented players even they're more active than other teams in serie-A but it doesn't guarantee they will have better performance rather than the previous season but regarding the top 5 maybe still belong to those teams above

I have a lot of doubts over Rome for next season because it has a new coach (Di Francesco is a good coach but young and inexperienced), he sold Salah (15 assist + 19 goals scored in the last season), and will almost certainly sell his best defender Manolas, and will also play the champion's league.
If Rome doesn't buy strong players, it may be a bad season.
Yeah, Roma will face strong challenge in the next season, they have made some big changes. Salah has been sold, coach has been changed, their legend Fransisco Totti has retired, so they will have to start with a new fragrance.. anyway, I always eagerly waiting for hearing the glorious news of Roma.
Roma is looking to replace Salah with the spanish player Gerard Gerard deulofeu the Everton player but wirh Barcelona have the right to buyback deulofeu for 12 million euros but the player would not have a starting role with Barcelona in the presence of the trio of attack "Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar."
deulofeu may prefer to return to the Serie A after having been impressed with AC Milan during the second half of last season and Rome is looking to land him with a bid of 15 million euros
