1261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: July 26, 2018, 11:50:03 PM
Ronaldo was a goal machine at Real Madrid. Now I think they will have a hard time trying to replace him and whoever replaces him will not score as many goals as Ronaldo did in his years with Real Madrid.

This opens up a good fight for Barcelona , Atletico Madrid and Valencia to fight a little bit more for the title and making La Liga again beautiful to watch. This year La Liga seem to be fairly balanced with top teams each having equal chances to win the league.
Real was big club before Ronaldo, nothing will change after his era in Madrid. Yeah, it's impssible to find player would be as good as Ronaldo, so we can expect that Perez will try to buy more than one extra class player. It's likely that they will also need to find replacement for Benzema (Lewandowski maybe?).
I can't agree that upcoming season La Liga will be ballanced. As always, RM and Barca considered as favorites, Atletico is like an underdogs who also have chances. Other teams like Valencia, Sevilla will fight for last Champions league spot. But there will be very balkanced fight for Europa league spots as we saw last season.

There is no doubt RM was big but Ronaldo made it bigger and better there're very few to none players who can score that many goals as he did. He'll be impossible to replace and Bale wants to be star man so they can't get a bigger star if they do he leaves. Benezma should be sold off, he's terribly off form, I would give title to Barcelona unless Atletico fight for it.

With Ronaldo, Real Madrid always secured the spot for champions league and won so many Trophy too. Well Ronalndo become bigger with real madrid and real madrid become more bigger too, so it's a win win.
for now I give the League title automatically to Barcelona unless they don't persue it much and focus on getting European triumph but even with that Barcelona stays the most favorite as you can see last season they won it with comfortable margin and Madrid had Ronaldo with them now imagine the situation for them with their main Rival missing their best player in the century or we can also say the best player that played under them it wouldn't be a fair Competetion Barcelona looking now better then last season or at least they still in same great situation that could be even improved with couple more signings. They are targeting one more holding Midfielder and in my opinion they should go with Arturo Vidal because he looks like he is finding his way out of Bayern he could head back to Italy to join one of Juve rivals or England there will be a number of good teams interested in him.

Hat do you guys think of excluding Neymar from best 10 players list who will be the candidate for Balloon for I think it's a new shock for him adding on that it will be a new disappointment after the World Cup disappointment and media campaigns that made him looking worser then ever especially when it comes to his style.
This all negative surrounding will make him worse and maybe next year we will see him trying a new challenge with a new club specially when PSG don't get the success in Europe that they are dreaming about for me the final three in the balloon d'or should have Modric and Greizman 3 person most likely to be CR7 as he won the UCL while Messi shined only in ligue I would like to see Greizman as winner because he won the WC also the UEL with Atletico so he deserved the most I excluded Salah from this list because he didn't achieve any Silverware while in Stats Messi is also better then him.

Barcelona turned their eyes over Steven Nzonzi the gunners was intrested him at first but after Sevilla demanded £35m for him witch put them off but for Barca he is more valable option then PSG midfielder Rabiot because the parisien side is unwilling to sell him
Bonucci wants to return to Juventus after a unseccessfull 1st year with Milain.
Rumors says that Madrid have reached agreement with Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois but Chelsea yet to have agreement with The Blancos over the transfer fee the Belgian goaly wants to get back to mdrid as he wants to reunite with his family that is why this move is possible to happen.
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 26, 2018, 04:52:18 PM
Chelsea is demanding £62M from Milain to get Morata that is 5 million higher from what Chelsea payed Real Madrid last season.
After Signing Richarldson Everyone still going strong and they are doubling their efforts to sign the two Barcelona defenders Digne and Mina.
Mourinho urges Ed Woodward towrap up Maguire deal even if it costs them  £65M that what Leicester asking for this move from Mourinho made a lot of concern for Argentina Defender Marcos Alonso because bringing another central Defender means that either him or Smalling will be axed.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 26, 2018, 04:36:06 PM
Yes there is no doubt that Liverpool has one of the craziest and best squad available but see what Pullsic did to them says it all, they somehow fail to click on the main stage, and I believe that'll the case this time around to. If one goes on paper teams I would rate Liverpool first, Man City Second, Manchester United third, and so so on but then it's epl things change quickly.
Most teams like Liverpool are very good when they are on paper but when they come to open play it seems things are totally different for them and they don't play like the way you would expect them to play which becomes very frustrating for their fans.
In my opinion they not only good on paper and Liverpool might be failed in the champion league final game but during last season they were playing good even though still no trophy even last season Salah has appear as top scorer for english league with 32 goals so i think their fans will appreciate this achievement
I agree with you, even though Liverpool FC hasn't won trophies in the past few seasons, but I as a fan are quite satisfied with what liverpool achieved, jurgen klopp has changed liverpool fc for the better.
Liverpool need to achieve something good with squad now with Vid closing in to join it's going to help creating more depth in defense that's what was their weeknesses in the previous years also I heard that Liverpool have given another chance to Sturridge for his last season in his contract but no offense I don't think he is that he will do anything significant last season he joined West Brom on loan but he suffered a injury that led to him making 6 appearances so I'm not going to bother entertaining the idea that something different will happen this time.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 23, 2018, 01:55:04 AM
I've  been reading that deal between Chelsea and Real is almost done .Hazard will be new Real player for 190mln euro.Real don't want to wait Chelsea don't want to sell cheap

If that is true  Real midfield will be the best in the world

Hazard Modric Kross Isco Asunsio
It looks good but, who's going to be the defensive midfielder? Kroos? very unlikely. I doubt Lopetegui will discard Casemiro from the starting lineup, he's the guy who gives balance to the whole team.

What with Benzema is he gonna stay
Unfortunately, it does seem like Benzema will stay for another season. A bit surprising tbh, especially after Di Marzio, one of the most reliable journalist (until now) when it comes to transfers, said that Benzema met with AC Milan for a possible move.
true Real Madrid needs Casemiro to block the Midfielders that create chances and I think he is more important against strong teams while I see Kovasic better in easier matches as he do not throw the ball anywhere when he gets pressed like Casemiro does he tries to give a clean pass to his teammates as for Benzema I don't believe that he will go to Milan they have been away from UCL for too long and Benzema just won 4 of them so this move will get him out of the spotlight. It will be best for him to stay for one more season or join Napoli if possible I know that Ancelotti wants him there.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 23, 2018, 01:27:25 AM
Since 2008-2009, Liverpool have not been more ready on paper to win the league title than their current position after a market has dealt with their weakness .Now the opposite of "what's on paper" remains to see "on "The move by Liverpool this summer means they are serious on their project, but the desire to implement it after the Premier League season has been on the rise for many years.

The latest arrivals were Brazilian goalkeeper Allison from Rome became the world's most expensive goalkeeper, the Reda continue to break the record after signing up with the world's most expensive defender Van Djik last winter, and this increase pressure over Klopp this season as they are going to need some silverware to lift I think there summer window have closed unless they go for the overkill by bringing Nabil Fekir as they already got Shaqiri and spent money on Nabi keita and Fabinho.

Keita: 8, Firminho: 9, Mane: 10, Salah: 11. That's what I call a really lovely set of Jersey numbers. Keita's of course not proven anything but his early season outings seem to indicate he won't take long to settle into the high tempo of attacking Liverpool demands. I hope Milner keeps his legs a few more years, to see someone almost my age just burn up the grass at every match is breathtaking. Just a big pity we've lost Ox, and Lallana never looks confident.

I wouldn't say we've never been more ready. I remember thinking the Suarez season where the Gerrard slip cost us the title, that everything was so special and couldn't be better. Liverpool's new team still has a lot of things to learn and we have so few mature people in the squad. But there's every reason to feel optimistic about our chances to go high, and at least give the champion a run for their money. Last season was so meek, everyone gave City an easy time (except Liverpool ahaha).

I would say we need another solid CB, but who knows, maybe our World Cup silver medallist will become the steady rock he always tried and failed to be.

Yes brothers!
I’m excited about our chances this season. I have a feeling it’ll be a fight between City & Liverpool.
Keita looks really good in pre season so far. I think the most important signing is Alisson though, as we saw in Kiev you can’t win anything with a crap goalkeeper.

Who knows, maybe we get Fekir in through the door late on in the transfercwindow. This is the beet squad of my lifetime already though.

Look at the spine of the team - Alisson—-VVD——Keita/Fabinho——Firmino/Salah/Mane
Are there many better in world football?
from the latest news about Liverpool their transfers window is done I really doubt that they will be bringing Fekir this season they had a successful summer transfer window but maybe they are going to bring Croitia Center back Vida from besiktas to pair him with Lovren as they proved to be great partnership after WC but I prefer to see them go for Godin from Atletico instead he is a far better player in my opinion but at the end I hope to see either of them with the reds as he will add more depth for the squad while Fekir looking now far from joining plus he is now he will not find a starting spot in the squad and I don't think that his playing style is suitable for Klopp I think at first they contacted him for fear to lose Salah but after his renewal and bringing Shaqiri no room left for him. As for Alisson I hope I see him achieve the expectation of the fans.

Arsenal are interested in Barcelona Midfielder Andre Gomes but they do not want to meet the asking price for him that is €30m since Arsenal are the sole team interested in him they willing to wait from Barcelona to drop the price.
Everton are getting closer to sign in Richaldson from Watford for a fee closer to the £50 million .The toffess are also looking to get Wilfred Zaha from Crystal Palace he have been looking for a way out since Manchester City wanted to get him Dortmund are also watching him but the rumor is that it will costs Everton are closing in on the £70 million to get him.
Hazard is getting closer to exit Chelsea to join Madrid as rumors started suggests that they have reached agreement for the fee of the player which is close to 190€m.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: July 20, 2018, 10:27:54 PM
Looks like that Real Madrid have found their star that will be replacing Ronaldo the deal between the Spanish team and Chelsea have been agreed that sees their Belgian winger Hazard leaves Stamford Bridge for a record fee for Madrid that is €190m. Real Madrid are also keen on bringing Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois but the deal is now will include only Hazard it's going to be a though season for Chelsea as they lost one of their best players for the previous few years and about to lose two more Courtois as I mentioned before also Barcelona wants Willian. Real Madrid are also looking in for Icardi as they are preparing to part ways with Benzema to Napoli. Inter is demanding €110m for their striker but if Perez made his mind he will get him despite the price.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 19, 2018, 10:41:23 PM
Liverpool have broken another record as they have just  signed Alisson from Roma for €75 million that will make him the highest fee paid for a Goalkeeper breaking Giuanluigi buffon recorf that lasted 17 years. It's funny that Roma have paid only €7.5 million two years ago for the brazilian keeper coming from international this move made Chelsea turn their targeting for potential replacement for coutois to 19yo Italian Donnuroma while Kasper Schmichel and Peter Cech will be the alternative Solution.
Liverpool looks like a solid team after this move i always seen the weakness in their man between the posts that costs them a lot of improtant matches now they defintly better they reached UCL Finals with that squad so imagine this season what they can do with all of these improvements and i think it's about time for Klopp to left a trophy with the reds.
1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 16, 2018, 10:57:34 PM
The NBA is really starting to suffer from lack of competition.  The Warriors are coasting every year to the Finals and this isn't going to change for the next few years.  At least the Eastern conference doesn't havfe Lebron anymore so we won't be seeing the same team from the East.
Lack of Competetion is not something new for NBA because Superteams have been out there since the 60’s when the Celtics at that time dominated the league as they got mostt of the top 15 players in the league in their squad after that Lakers and Celtics both had ridiculously stacked teams in the 80’s maybe we can say they competeted with each other but the final was the same every year in that periode also Michael Jordan played with 2 other hall of famers in the 90’s. Anyways  as long as everyone is working amongst the system in place and it appears you don’t even have a solution for the perceived problem. Players have always wanted to be playing in winning teams and that will never change and this has always been an issue, only now social media has given fans a platform to bdiscuss about it more.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 16, 2018, 10:42:32 PM
Now when World Cup is over, we can focus on transfer window.
Quick note: I am fan of Real Madrid and I like it even more now when Ronaldo left it (Yes, we exist lol).
I would like to see Hazard as a change for Ronaldo now. And there were some rumors about it. He simply delighted me with his recent performance on World Cup.
Real Madrid needs to wrap up this transfertdeal quick because English transfert window will close quicker then usual and i think after that Chelsea will not sell since they cannot bring replacement for him i heared that the spanish side need to pay a record fee of £200m if they want the belgian winger while some fans wanted to return to Madrid but there is no way for him to return before finishing his 2year loan.
and as i expected after WC Lyon will try to sell Nabil Fekir to Liverpool. it was clear from the beginning that Lyon cut the negotioations before WC as they wanted to get more money from him and with France winning WC surely every single plyer from the french squad will be worthing more then he was before going to russia only Giroud will be worth less then before.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 16, 2018, 10:08:48 PM
^  VAR sucks.  It's not football anymore.  I'd love for the game to be pure and still have that human element in there.  It's not perfect, but that's part of what makes spectating it fun.

And it's funny how stupid that ref is if he really got the handball call wrong even with VAR.
every thing have positive and negative effect VAR helped in some cases but using it too much will make refs decisions obsolete at a point that refs wouldn't be needed in a match anymore or and only VAR will be used in every decision made that will hurt the pace of the game and a match will be stretched longuer then used to be also i think that there was some directions from FIFA officials to minimaze VAR in games especialy after Group stages since there was a lot of number of penalty kicks were given and there would have been much more if VAR used more often i think it was a good experience with WC using this technologie but there will be a lot to fix like handball rule it must be clarified because there where some sketchy decisions in this world cup i hope they get fixed in the next one.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: July 16, 2018, 09:38:35 PM
There is going to be a unhappy ending for sure but the more I read on net more confused I get some say Bran will be killed in second or third episode, then others say Danny will be pregnant and will die, Jamie will die and kill night king. There's just to much and it's one hell of a wait. Nitrogen has the odds out already? Or are they planning to release it.
Yes, the odds are out just follow the link to their blog post here it is:

https://goo.gl/YfghTY

And if you want to bet now, after you go to the site of nitrogensports you just select “Entertainment” and then “Game of Thrones”

It is odd I knew people placed bets on things like Brexit or who is going to be the next US president but I did not knew people placed bets on television shows.
the new odds looks intresting considering that there is a lot of rumors of Daenarys will die in the last season and i think that is possible considering that she finished filming fast while Maisie williams was the last person to finish filming for her role as Arya stark that puts here in good position to be one of the winners my top candidate to be the winner will be John snow because he is half Targaryen hald Stark plus he already died once i don't think he will die again. and it's funny that there is still Stannis Barratheon and Petyr Baelish since both died while Jamie is not included in list specialy when he is more important then some in that list. but it will be intresting if either Dany or Jon survives and then eraches the iron throne and then decides to melt it down as it's not worth it.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2018 Russia - the Journey on: July 15, 2018, 12:20:20 AM
Congratulations to Belgium on the 3rd place. Still bummed they are not playing the final... My absolute favorite team of this World Cup. Belgium have a Golden generation of great footballers and they deserve to win something big. Hopefully that will be the next EURO tourney in 2020 fingers crossed  Cheesy Had they faced an easier knockout bracket without the likes of France they would have advanced to the final.
And England are so lucky to have made it to the final 4. Well, football is coming home without medals Roll Eyes

England played TWO top teams in this World Cup (Croatia & Belgium) yet they lost THREE times Cheesy
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an easier route to the semi final.

Now come to think of it, Croatia definitely won the lottery of easy opponents. Denmark and Russia were nothing to write home about and yet Croatia drew 1-1 twice in regulation time and had to pray to God the penalty shootouts were in their favour. England had the lead and they squandered it away in the final minutes. By the way, when England and Belgium played the group stage game with their B teams it was nothing more than a friendly match if you ask me. So maybe that match doesn't count haha.
I still can't believe Croatia are actually in the final. It should have been Belgium. Well, in that case, I am for France tomorrow haha  Grin
yeah i don't konw why everyone is sympathy with Croitia their only greatest achivement was winning against Argentine that was not that great team in my opinion (they lacked strengh in defense and manager didn't help with offense either) other then having messi in squad Argentine is just a team with some good strikers while England i was not that convinced that they have what it takes to beat good challengers and they only showed some strengh against weaker teams in group stages other then that not a lot to remark the only good thing i liked from Croitia was that they fought hard even though they played far more minutes i'm afraid for France that have been consistent team and showed us good games with Mbappe Greizman Pogba Kante and Lloris that they are going to lose just like the Euro against a team that didn't win games after group stages.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 14, 2018, 11:10:30 PM
We have he lineups:

England
Pickford, Rose, Stones, Maguire, Jones, Delph, Dier, Trippier, Loftus-Cheek, Sterling y Kane.

Belgium
Courtois, Alderweireld, Kompany, Vertonghen, Chadli, Witsel, Tielemans, Meunier, De Bruyne, Hazard y Lukaku.

For England it's a combination of subs and some players from the usual starting XI, though I wasn't expecting Trippier. Belgium is going with their best lineup, except for Tielemans maybe?

Surprised both teams have gone fairly strong. We usually see lots of changes in these 3rd/4th play off matches as in reality they’re not really that important. It’s all about the final or nothing for me. Nobody wants to come 3rd.

As for the games I expect Belgium to win.
Boom! 2-0

Honestly, shocking performance from England. Jones was awful, probably because he's not used to the tatics, there was no midfield (Henderson is key in this team), Belgium counter attacks were so effective because of the lack of midfield from the opponent...One would've thought Southgate learned about Belgium and their counter attacks by watching Belgium vs Brazil. Oh, and once again, Kane and Sterling were invisible. You know there's something wrong with the team when Ruben Loftus-Cheek is your biggest threat.

If I had to use word to describe England today it would be: predictable.

I want to talk about Harry Kane. He will win Golden Boot with his 6 goals...but IMO, he's going to be the worst Golden Boot in the history of the WC. Most of his goals were in the group stages against low-tier teams, no decisive goals, a bunch of penalties, dissapeared in the big games when the team needed him, etc etc. Look at the last Golden Boot, James Rodriguez, beautiful goals, scored in the knockout phases, and also scored one of the best goals ever in world cups. Obviouslt, it's not easy to win the golden boot award, but tbh, I expected more from Kane.
yeah Kane was atotal flopp after groupe stages he only scored one goal and that was against columbia and it was from penalty so 5 goals for hom came against the worst two defenses in the tournament also two of them were from penalty so half of his goals came from penalty kicks so he will get the golen shoe that was not well deserved the only important goals were the penalty kick against Columbia and the tow goals against tunisia they needed to win while today he looked 5 stone overweight and unfit - as he has for several games now. Sterling looked like he thought the goal was far for him to go they should started  Alli not to be brought on as a sub for 5 minutes they needed needed goals and didn't play Vardy or play offense England needed passion and didn't play Alexander Arnold though Stones had a good match and good competition and i think that Trippier was one of the best player of the tournament despite looking half dead tired in second half.

And even with all that they only lost 2-0 to the best team in the competition. I think that just shows how much of good teams starting to grow.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 14, 2018, 01:07:59 AM
Liverpool have announced the signing og their 3rd player in the season after they got Shaqiri after paying his release clause that is around £13.75m.
Leicester wants to keep their Central defender Harry Meguire as he have been linked with a Manchester united move they are looking to improve his contract by taking his weekly wage from £45k to about £75k also the reds are in discussion to make a move over last season target and this world cup Croitia winger sensation Ivan Perisic from inter Molain while the International club have made an offer the italian right back Darmian for loan deal.
Sarri and Higuain are closer to join Chelsea after the sack of Antonio conte While Liverpool have made a move for their Midfielder Kante offering Andre Gomes plus cash for the French Midfielder
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 14, 2018, 12:32:17 AM
world cup almost near the end and there was unpredictable teams who able to defeat big teams and one of them could reach the final match is Croatia but i think France still too strong for them and recently i just checked the odds between both of teams that i think if i pick for France the odds are decent to be considered
France have extra day of rest and did not play in 3 extra times. If Croatia manages to pull this one off it would be sensational. But the logic Says France will win this match they will learn from their mistakes after Euro final and focus on winning this final plus as for the match Croatia should not be discounted in the least, but this is France's to lose now. I am not even sure I give Croatia the advantage at mid with Kante's ability to neutralize the attacking third there. France looks like the class of the world again their only weakness is the loss of the 2016 final but if they fell behind in score against Croatia they end up with terrible pressure. This is the best opportunity for the Croats but the best thing is for France is that they have a number of great players in every position only the center forward despite that Giroud didn't get a single shot on target he is doing his jobs in creating space for Greizman and Mbappe.

There is more details about Ronaldo transfer
He will not only make 30 mln a year but Fiat will also cover his taxes
Fiat and Juve stocks jumped around 30% on stock exchange because of news
So it is all about money nothing else

Last news i have been reading is  that juve wants to buy Marcelo who is Ronaldo best friend
After Mundial we will have flood of transfer news
I really doubt that Perez is going to allow that to happen at all. What i am predicting is that since the era of the BBC is seemingly over, I think they are going to replace both Bale and Benzema and the likes of Eden Hazard and maybe Mbaape is going to be brought to the club. There is going to be another galacticos signing.

Bale if fit is great player he gave Real wins in last two CL finals I don't think PSG will like to sell M'Bape

Fiat workers on his Sicily factory are planing strike from Monday to Tuesday it is all Italy
lets have  long weekend so even ordinary workers will have his benefit lol

Interesting will beto see new Real it will be different club
Real should be now ready to move in another direction with a new young superstar whoever that is (hopefully they sign Mbappe or the safest solution will be Hazard) while Juventus will benefit from the marketing boom for them and Serie A, plus a guy who'll put them one step above on their quest to winning the ECL.
Cristiano now joins a club where he'll be very favored to get internal(leagues and local cups) trophies every year (not sure people realize he didn't actually win that much internally at Real) while also fighting for the ECL, allowing him to remain in the ballon d'or orbit for as long as he can score goals at a high rate. Plus it was apparently is second favorite club as a youngster so it seems everything is working allright for everyone.
