Thanks for the mention, but I don't think I was the first. There are a few Heroes who beat me to it. I think there may be a Senior Member as well. Some Heroes got 1000 Merit airdropped, that shouldn't count. Only a few users have earned more than 500 Merit: 2350: theymos 1058: satoshi 742: nullius 732: Lutpin 664: Last of the V8s 635: LoyceV 614: TMAN 575: DdmrDdmr 573: Jet Cash 567: Lauda 557: Vod From this list, you're the only one who turned Legendary after earning 500 Merit on your own. Now that's Legendary!

It would be very difficult and incredibly time-consuming to do 300 in one day. I can probably do it within an hour in almost any altcoin thread, but it feels so useless. For reporting homograph spambots (to get the user accounts banned, not just the post deleted), I can report about 40 in 15 minutes. Seeing them all nuked is very satisfying! If people start spamming the report queue very quickly just to hit their targets then the minimum should should be made higher. Maybe 300 is too low to start with in the first place. Shouldn't it be considered a good thing if people start reporting more bad posts? Since only 195 users qualify at the moment, I don't think it should be higher.

We need to go though the list manually and check the profiles. Hopefully if we find enough evidence the mods will lock/close/trash the ANN. In this case, closing the ANN isn't enough, the higher ranking spam accounts should be handled too.

They are somehow connected as big part of the "pyramid quoters" are posting in both ANN threads. You're definitely on to something here! I think it may deserve it's own thread, as it isolates many higher ranked spammers. Accounts around Full Member, with hundreds to thousands of posts, and (almost) no Merit, talking to eachother in long quotes. I assume this uses the bump spammer's packages, in which they offer to bump the thread with higher ranked accounts. ICOs pay extra for this "premium service" Lol ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I hope they can be banned, as they can't get new higher ranked accounts anymore. It's like destroying their airdropped Merit, and they'll never get it back! For now, I'll use this thread to dump data.Format: under the thread URL, I list how many times each account has posted in that thread. Anything <5 is omited to safe space. I'll take one. Read my signature first, send the vouch to my main account If you send the VCC set in USD, I'll see if I can use it to register a PayPal account through VPN. I've always wanted one for currency exchange purposes, but without further kyc.
And your main account is what.. This one ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Update: I did receive links, but OP removed them again. That means I can't vouch for this at the moment.

Noticed a small mistake. It should be July instead of June, right?. The spreadsheet's label. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FCAPgbjW.png&t=663&c=Sr6G69aQfy92JQ) Thanks, fixed!

Just report one of his posts (I just did): Insubstantial post: This guy spams "Thank you" everywhere. Pleaes check his post history.

Do i copy and paste Bobs command into the console exactly as it is or are there part of the line I have to replace with my data? You have to replace parts with your data. But, if that isn't obvious, I think it's better if you don't mess around with private keys.

BTW, I also received a few "bad" reports even that the post got deleted I've seen that too. I can imagine Mods make mistakes too, and some of my "69 bad" reports were probably not that bad. But in the end, it doesn't matter. Have you noticed the percentage is very optimistic? I think 98.01% is rounded up to 99%. So that makes up for a few reports accidentally marked as bad. Has he been banned for that?
CTRL-F his userID in modlog: no(t yet).
I think "unhandled" can also mean the post was deleted already before seeing your report.
Anyway, he's spamming his ref link in Dutch, English and Russian. Could be Google Translate, which isn't allowed. Just to be sure, I'll report the 7 posts that still have referal spam.

Is this not the "Byteball: Blackbytes FAQ" thread?
It's not a frequently asked question, and not relevant to using Blackbytes.

Only high quality contents are present on bitcointalk.org Not as long as you are around ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) The answer is No, I think there should be a KYC verification system and mobile verification system present on bitcointalk.org. How convenient, if you live in a country where people sell a picture of their ID for $0.50! Why merit point owner should give his earned tokens to other users.
I do not need merit point, keep them in your cold wallet .... You clearly don't know how it works. Read this. Please mentioned a single member of bitcointalk.org who has got legendary membership after the introduction of merit point system. Never mind, I give up ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

I thought about reporting that one but I think they just don't know how to quote. He removed some of the quote-tags inside the quote, and left some others. That's not a mistake, it's plagiarism. Just in case: he copied this thread from here too. He should be banned.

Please ban Jr. Member ALEX JAHID banned! for plagiarism. He has the audacity copy a sticky thread in Meta. Copy: (much longer quote removed) Original: (much longer quote removed)

I hope it's ok to share the PM here since there are nothing to hide. yishak actually PMed me yesterday unexpectedly... If he's serious about this (which I highly doubt), he should start partial payments already, and not wait a few months. If yishak pays back, I'll remove my red trust. By that time I'll decide whether or not to leave a neutral trust rating.

Would be nice if " Good Project, Nice Project " when it's only this 2 Words for a post cant be posted Bad idea! A spambot doesn't care how much it has to post, but it restricts users. Short posts can be good, and long posts can be bad.
I personally think a single merit is not sufficient, as it's very easy to buy merit from a hero member with 50 merit, producing 50 new Jr. member accounts. Sure, it's definitely a roadblock, but it's probably not enough to adequately curb the bot accounts. I think it will be a huge restriction. At the moment, spam bots can rank up thousands of Jr. Members, and thousands of Newbies are registered each day. A Merit requirement will reduce those numbers: even if they buy Merit, eventually the sellers will run out of it. It reduces a potentially unlimited problem to maybe a few thousand new Jr. Members. In the past few days, I got many more than 50 Newbies nuked. I'm currently experimenting on scraping user histories instead of just patrol. If that works out, I can filter out higher level spam accounts too.
I'm wondering if Sir Jets already saw this one or OP's already in his ignore list. No need, OP is banned already.
I'm testing a new format for the reports, much easier to check if the user is nuked Can't you scrape BPIP for that information? It beats manual checking. Or even better: I'll PM Vod to ask if he can make a datadump of all banned/nuked accounts.
