22321  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why does my browser keep redirecting blockchain to phising site ? on: May 09, 2015, 03:32:42 PM

http://www.wikihow.com/Block-a-Website-in-All-Web-Browsers

These are instructions for Windows and Mac.
i think the best and easiest way is to use an antivirus with a decent firewall and block the address in the AV
i have Eset Smart security and i am satisfied with its firewall and other aspects. plus it does requires so small amounts of system resources.
22322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is day trading on Coinbase profitable? on: May 09, 2015, 03:23:38 PM
I've been watching the BTC price for what seems like forever.  Coinbase charges 1% in fees.  I figure if I can (for example) buy at $225 and sell at $228, then I've made over 1%.  It doesn't sound very hard.  I will have my coins instantly if I register my credit card on Coinbase, right?

EDIT: Plus then I get to spend more time reading the hilarity scrolling up the BTC-e trollbox.
this is what i was thinking before i started trading. i though it is easy an i simply buy low and sell higher (with considering fees) and i will profit. but in action it is much harder than that, specially in a long run.

anyway i figured out that bitcoin market is not meant for me so i went to altcoin market and it was good for me so far. but i still have much to learn.
22323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Girls use Bitcoin in strip clubs ? on: May 09, 2015, 03:17:27 PM
i don't know about them accepting bitcoin in stripclubs but they sure are accepting it in other places on internet.
there was a topic in services section by someone asking for bitcoin to create costume nude vidoes for anyone willing to pay; it looked a bit suspicious but still there are girls doing that already...
22324  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much money a faucet can earn everyday ? on: May 06, 2015, 02:16:09 PM
i think nowadays only thing that can make a faucet popular is how much they pay out.

like if it is going to pay >1000 satoshi per claim per hour it most definitely is going yo attract more people in comparison to a faucet that pays 100

then you need to constantly promote your faucet through different ways like forums, advertising websites, etc

also the design although i think is not that important, it needs to be simple an avoid creating a crowded page.

you always can look at successful faucets which are around for a long time like freebitco.in
22325  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: May 06, 2015, 02:08:36 PM
I think a good investment is in betting...
Whit patience , selfcontrol, you can make also 3 - 5 % daily!
Plus bonus or so on...

Another so far not bad investment is in the faucet market...
You can make some bucks, but for really money you need to invest more in time/money/btc.
i strongly suggest that you never consider betting as a way of investing. instead consider it simply as a game which you "MIGHT" earn profit from.
22326  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice needed! Buying, trading, and selling on exchanges on: May 06, 2015, 02:04:33 PM
Buy Low Sell High.

To know what's low and high you have to determine it yourself.
It's all about how you predict the market. if you think it's gonna be a strong day
then you can probably buy a below the 24 hr average in bulk and sell a bit lower than the highest ask.

That's what I used to do, got 30$ out of 12$ worth of alt coin back when NXT was inflating

The buy low sell high strategy is good...
But when it comes to inflation, if you are talking about the total amount of altcoins supply rather than the price of that coin in BTC, I would say that most of the times, inflation will only lead you to loss as I have seen many people made money in 10k and Balls, but many lost too thinking that the price might go up a lot, but it didn't as dumpers were ready just to f*ck off the markets wholeheartedly...

Buy low, sell high is not a strategy.

I would agree.  It is a ever changing market we don't have a high and low.

If buy low sell high works we would all make a fortune....
buy low sell high is true if you have a magic ball which you can see the future in it, or somehow you are controlling the market. otherwise it is not possible to tell the low and high value especially in an altcoin scene
22327  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: May 06, 2015, 02:02:03 PM
Buy some UltraCoin.
Wait.
Sell UltraCoin for more than you bought it for.

actually many options for buying coin, no need to wait ultracoin. whether this sort of trading? wait coin down and buy it? then sell it?
in my experience whenever someone is advertising an altcoin like this, it is usually because it is falling apart and the person is a bag holder with high hopes.
not that i am saying it is true about this case but it was always this way so far...
22328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: May 06, 2015, 03:39:02 AM
in my opinion the best place to invest is where you are most comfortable with. for instance most people invest in buying bitcoin at low prices and many do bitcoin trading. i personally prefer trading altcoins and investing in them and i am happy so far with my investments.
22329  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: REAL ways to make bitcoins without spending money on: May 06, 2015, 03:33:12 AM

https://www.reddit.com/r/DoItForTheCoin (sometimes you can find good stuff there)
http://work4crypto.com/ (mostly pays in Doge)

Quote
1) I've spread my bits around into various coins.
2) Because I have no idea what I'm doing -
3) and at the same time putting all my trust in you guys
these are your 3 biggest mistakes.
1) first one is actually a good idea to spread your money to reduce the risk of losing it in one place but only if you know where to put it.
2) try to read the altcoin section, topics about trading and stuff like that and then watch the market. it is not that hard to learn how it works
3) never trust what other people are telling you to buy or sell. it is not 100% but most of the time they are either wrong or lying or trolling.
22332  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: where you get bitcoin every day? on: May 04, 2015, 04:26:32 AM
in my experience if you want to earn 0.01 BTC/day you have to have a website with a good traffic and place a lot of ads on it to earn money.
another way that comes to mind that i am doing myself is trading. i myself do altcoin trading, i do it in small amounts and cautiously to reduce the losses and maximize my profits.
22333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING: Nasty virus being linked on: April 27, 2015, 03:27:22 PM
what the name of this virus, on the reddit link, it does not talk about it? i could search if it is already reported by antivirus vendors

it should be reported if the answer is no
maybe it is not yet known by antiviruses to have a name, i couldn't find a name for it.
as far as i know it was reported by the victims so far as the way i mentioned earlier.
22334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / WARNING: Nasty virus being linked on: April 27, 2015, 04:03:57 AM
this virus is introduced as a Primedice hack and is being spread through social medias reddit, facebook, google, etc... and transmits itself through the infected user's social media accounts.

this virus will empty out all your accounts that you log into, like tipbot balances, or Primedice balance

it must also act as a keylogger too, because there has been reports of losing backed-up encrypted wallets too.

here is more info on the matter.
22335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: April 22, 2015, 02:57:47 AM
Howdy,
I've been using one for a couple months now and it's given no reason to mistrust it. But it seems weird to me sending my money to an intermediary that's neither a wallet nor a bank and is entirely online. Feels like the money is hanging out in some nowhere zone that isn't completely under my control...

Dies any one else feel this way or do I just not understand this stuff well enough yet?

Thanks!
your feeling is quite right, i feel the same way too. but unfortunately there is no better way, and we have to take this risk if we want to do trading in exchangers.
just try to pick a well known exchanger, this way the risks will be reduced not eliminated.
the most recent hack of an exchanger that i was a user of was bter.com you can search to see the victims Sad
22336  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to get free bits.. on: April 21, 2015, 06:11:47 PM
personally i think the best way to get free bits is giveaways but they are hard to get by. so the next best thing is to do small stuff for it.
for instance take a look at https://www.reddit.com/r/DoItForTheCoin/ you also might find some giveaways there too.
another one is http://work4crypto.com/ but it is mostly in Dogecoin but you can always exchange that into BTC
22337  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long, strong should a bitcoin wallet pass-phrase be? on: April 21, 2015, 06:06:45 PM
you can try this, to see how strong your password is

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-980-970-maxwell,3941-12.html

usually something with 10-12 is good enough, just change the combination for every site

I have a feeling that's not the right link lol.

This might be of better use: https://howsecureismypassword.net/
this is a cool link, i bookmarked it for later references. and according to it the kind of passwords i use will require 8 quintillion years to be cracked by a desktop pc Cheesy
22338  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Curious on: March 29, 2015, 04:59:25 PM
if you really are interested in mining coins, you can take a look at the altcoin section of forum to find some altcoin to mine; i personally don't like mining but you can try it for yourself
22339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015? on: March 28, 2015, 05:33:22 AM
No, I already very difficult for the price to reach $ 500 this year  Undecided
if only it could get past the $300 resistance a couple of days back when the price was around 280-290, it would have gone up. but now it seems too far :/
22340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most wagered bitcoin gambling website list on: March 28, 2015, 05:26:02 AM
