2241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 11, 2021, 09:44:19 PM
I think that a quite easy match is waiting for Napoli today against Juventus. Juventus are not only in a bad form now but they have many important missing players also. And we see a Napoli that started the season really good. Juventus can't defeat them in Naples for 2 matches also and Napoli won both of them. I expect another win for Napoli here. And it may be with a 1-goal or 2-goal difference. I don't think that Juventus will be able to resist them.
Juventus faced mentality after missing Cristiano Ronaldo and now they need full points on this match because have failed last two match by draw from Udinese and loss from Empoli on Juventus Arena stadium. Now they will faced with Napoli and become most stronger for Juventus because their against success win last two match and now collected six points. Maybe Juventus looks little chance after back Moise Kane and will help Juventus to score against with Napoli, I know that very hard match for Juventus but optimist this match become the way for recovery to get three points and back to track winning.
It was always obvious that Ronaldo wasn't the reason Juventus was losing, and wasn't the reason they were winning. Whatever problem they are facing right now is not because of Ronaldo leaving, so they decided at least with him gone they could get some more money plus wouldn't have to pay him so much money neither. There are thousands of clubs that have smaller salary totals than what Juventus paid only to Ronaldo. This is why him leaving wasn't a big deal for Juventus.

However they didn't get another player to cover that difference which could be a small bit of a problem, obviously they couldn't act quick enough but at the end of the day they still have financials to recover. Yes they were not good last year, and they do not look like they will be good this year neither, but they could get financially better and build a better team in the future.

Hi Guys!

3rd big winner from the same customer as the previous two posted tickets.   Grin Grin

This time though, he cashed out with 1 leg remaining.. That Sweden game went on to be a winner too.

But with another 350,000 in the hand, who can argue with that!!    Cool Cool
So wait a minute, dude managed to win half a million, then 900k, then another 350k? This dude managed to win over 1.5 million dollars with three tickets? I mean surely he must be gambling huge amounts now, and must have some losses as well, I do not want to believe that this is his last 3 bets and he won all of that, he must have some losses. But even with that, jesus h. christ and mother of all the things that are holy, ONE AND A HALF MILLION DOLLARS??? That is a lot of money, that is "go home and enjoy life forever without ever having to worry about money again" amount of money.

Not just here where I live, I am pretty sure 1.5 million dollars is that kind of money in most places, even in like UK or something, go buy 2-3 or whatever amount houses and rent them out and you are fine, you will live forever happily without working ever again. That's some serious cash.

Pick 10 random directors from multinational companies, one from each country and you will see they come up with a different picture of what personal success is. Do the same with 10 from the same country around the same age and again you will see something different.

Very important at this point is not to look at the picture from your own perspective, for a European or American this might be hard to understand but at the same time is ignoring history, all major developments until the middle of the industrial revolution were done with people getting paid a fixed amount for their work, the whole Age of Discovery was sponsored by rich houses and merchants without the actual leader of the expeditions receiving anything else from the enterprises that were built on their discoveries, same for the all the Renaissance.
Would this move prevent the creation of another giant company? Maybe! Will it prevent poor people to try and succeed in life and at least reach the middle to high-income class, absolutely not!
It is not the point that big corporations should not exist, capitalism is a working product that we have which gives results. However the fact that some people (investors and owners) make trillions combined while people are poor, and that is the part we should be fixing. Nobody says that we should move to communism, communism is when the government owns things and that is not correct and that should never happen. What should happen is a regulated economy, why do we have zero kids working at age 12, working 12 hours a day in factories anymore? Because, workers took their rights and gave children their freedom.

If you asked a liberal, they would say that if a kid is poor, and their family is poor, then that kid start working early would be beneficial to him. Or why don't we work 10 hours a day for 7 days? Because workers took their rights. I just want the same thing, instead of apple making 10+ billion in profit, they should make 5 and rest should go to workers. Is that too much to ask?
2244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 11, 2021, 08:12:04 PM
In order to strengthen their middle order, they need to kick out useless guys such as Andile Phehlukwayo and promote Wiaan Mulder and George Linde higher up the order. The same can't be said about Sri Lanka. Apart from a few individual performances every now and then, the Lankan batsmen doesn't seems to be in good form.
Although harsh, I agree that Andile Phehlukwayo doesn't add that much value to the team as someone like a certain Cris Morris does. They lose a lot of players to the kolpak deal where local players are playing in England as locals. I saw Simon Harmer playing there and then even Rilee Rossouw left for the deal because he was not given enough chances at the international level. It's important the cricket board of South Africa understand the value of retaining skilled players.

To be honest, though, a lot of this happens because they don't have a culture/interest in cricket as much there is in countries like India and other Asian countries.

So expect Israel to be scared when it actually happens in the coming months.
I don't think Adesanya will be scared because the guy has improved in heaps since the time he got knocked out. I mean yeah you're right that it's a challenge to fight the guy who has knocked you out previously but then it also adds energy and emotions into the fight.

More than anything, I am expecting a promotion from stake on his next fight Grin.

he's the only person to defeat him twice but it was over 4 years ago and much has changed and in a new ring. Grin
Exactly my point as well. And the most impressive part of his improvement is his mental stability. Costa tried and get into his head but ended up paying for it himself.
2246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Roulette Strategy on: September 10, 2021, 06:01:05 PM
Hi guys, I have seen this roulette strategy and I would like to know your opinions before trying it in the online casino.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiOldswj57A
I haven't watched the video because I am obviously sure that no such strategy exists which guarantees a profit, but I visited the link given in the description and it took me to some wild casino (literally, that was the name of the site after many redirects) and it was a referral link from what I understood. If someone is sharing referral links, it's pretty obvious the guy is trying to earn by affiliate revenue and doesn't have a working strategy. If you have a working strategy why would you need referrals then.

Also if ever there was some trick that somehow existed to make money from casinos, it would be exploited rather than being shared.
2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice multiplayer theory on: September 10, 2021, 05:16:55 PM
Dice is the most popular game in modern-day casinos. The reasons remain clear to me but am a fan of dice, as it doesn’t take much energy to play and win on a single game.

But I want to know the basic theory to play within a multiplayer?
This is something new to me I only play dice with the house or against someone not never multiplayer so far, on the gambling sites I'm playing there is none offering a multiplayer feature, but searching on the internet for something like multiplayer, I found this it's in the development stage from a developer I don't know if the programmer succeeded in creating a dice multi player, but it's something a gambling casino can take up.

https://www.codeproject.com/Questions/1042445/Dice-Game-How-to-allow-for-multiple-players
It's rather easy to develop a multi-player dice game but the casino would always want the players to lose money to them instead of losing it to the other players. Also to create a multi-player dice game there must be enough players otherwise it wouldn't make sense for someone to wait for hours to find an opponent.

If even a multi-player dice game is there, I think most of the players will prefer playing against the house since it will allow customized amounts and multiplier which isn't possible against other players who will want to have their own multiplier and bet amount.
2248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we see 5k Eth price by end of the month on: September 10, 2021, 03:18:55 PM
According to your theory and most judgments here, eth's position can change as long as the market becomes a piece for a missing corner of eth when fuel eth 2.0 is being pumped gradually and coming to a decision point, just need the market to press the start button and it will be full of tools and this situation will be very fast if the market is green like a few months ago. But we're also not in a sprint against time and the market, a stretch of eth's distance from the target can be added gradually, rather than draining eth in a short time.
The reality is that ETH 2.0 itself could bring green to market all by itself. I mean it is such a huge deal that will change the crypto world that I do not think we could have anything that is remotely close to that in impact. Which is why if people see it as a positive which many do (except miners) then we are going to see crypto markets skyrocketing, and that is what matters the most.

I personally do not believe that 2.0 will be anytime this year, it will probably be next year or even maybe 2023 as well, we all know development on ETH is always postponing stuff, even the simplest London fork took so many months of constantly postponing to finally happen. Which means that something that is called "late 2021, early 2022" could be as late as "late 2022, early 2023" in the ETH development world. So, if ETH reaches to 5k this month, it will not be because of 2.0 at all.
2249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best taking profit techniques to maximize gains out of the upcoming blow-off top on: September 10, 2021, 12:50:24 PM
I'm planning to follow what's left of the bull run with a ATR based trailing stop.
I am not good at these techniques and if I am not wrong, by ATR you mean Average True Range. I have heard these terms in trading many times but never been able to implement them in actual trading myself.

I heard some traders prefer to sell a % of their bags based of the % in the price increase.
Even I do the same. So basically if I have 1 BTC and the price is let's say $50k. I will sell 10% of my coins with a 10% increase and buy 10% with a dip. The numbers aren't always exactly, depends on the market confidence too. If I feel that the bull run is not going to stop anytime soon, then I may sell 5% instead of 10 when price hikes.

Anyway, what's your plan for the upcoming weeks and months?
I have high expectations from the BTC price at the end of this year so waiting for that but also ready to buy/sell if the market crashes or goes beyond expectations.
2250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: yesterday's drop in prices, was it natural or man made? on: September 10, 2021, 10:00:18 AM
Of course it's a man made, there's no way that it would change without automatically or probably you would be thinking about bots? there's a possibility the market do it's correction. Many people think it's bad because the price crash but in reality correction is a natural thing and healthy to the market.
I think OP wants to ask whether such a sharp drop was caused intentionally by someone or was it just a natural phenomenon. By natural, it doesn't always have to happen itself but something that happens commonly. I think he asked the question in a wrong way but meant to ask whether these sharp drops are normal or controlled by a particular individual.

As most others said, such sharp drops and hikes are normal and hence we call this market highly volatile because the price can go up or down without any logic or explanation.
2251  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: September 10, 2021, 04:42:07 AM
Roulette was the OG game where you played against the casino and not just machines back in the day, it was replaced by dice because they are similar in the crypto world. Of course, there is a difference but it was the closest we got in crypto world when we didn't had roulette just yet. In the physical casinos world you either played pvp, or if you wanted to play against the house it was either slots or roulette, those usually are the options available (then many big ones added more stuff).

So, I sort of understand the love roulette gets, it is one of the OG games that everyone loves to play, even the martingale that many uses on dice was originated from the roulette world, as long as you are lucky then sticking with one color ended up profiting you in the long run, but of course it gets disrupted by too many same color back to back eventually. So, it is understandable why people love it.
Roulette is still the OG game when it comes to physical casinos, take a look at almost every movie in a casino and you usually get either a poker scene or a roulette scene, poker is when you do pvp without house getting in the way, and roulette is against the house one. It is seriously profitable to keep gambling there because the odds are best there, most slot machines do not even have proper odds because you end up with like 5-10% house edge on those, not everywhere of course, especially online ones have lower but when we are talking about physical ones then those casinos have crooked slots. Which is why people still prefer roulette tables in real life casinos.
2252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 09, 2021, 08:09:53 PM
I think ronald koeman has changed the style of playing barcelona a bit now, before indeed the barcelona game often used tiki taka which was more dominant to attack, but we know that ronald koeman would prefer to use 4-3-3 tactics and combine it with tiki taka, so the current barcelona game is a high defensive line, Koeman's scheme makes two barcelona central defenders obliged to participate in building attacks and occasionally launching long passes that surprise the opposing defense, and in several barcelona matches that have occurred this season, i see a lot of barcelona players who are even out of position so that if they are against a team that has speed on the counter-attack, of course it will be very troublesome for Barcelona when facing such a fast counterattack.
Gegenpress is the way to go in today's game, almost every team is using that on defense whenever they get a chance. Obviously if you are Barcelona and your opponent is weak then you do not even have the chance to do too much defense, usually they just attack until they score and maybe get a counter attack goal conceded but that's about it.

The reason why they didn't play that was the fact that team was a bit too old to do that, and players were not fast enough anymore or couldn't handle all that running, specially at that age. Now that they are building a great young core, they can afford to do that and could make a lot of profit from it as well. In the end how many games could be won by just pure talent, you need to also have a system in place as well.
2253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some trading mistakes beginners make on: September 08, 2021, 06:48:20 PM
OP, another mistake newbies always make is, over-estimating their intelligence, and capabilities. Trading is a zero-sum game. To get money from the market, another participant must lose it. We are mere plebs, and the game is always won by professional traders.
This is definitely a big problem. I have seen a lot of people who come into crypto with "if there are so many people who made money in crypto, then I will be able to do the same as well" logic. First of all, not everyone makes a profit in crypto but since it went up so much, people who did literally nothing but watching the price go up managed to make money, so it was easy, doesn't mean it will be easy for you as well.

At the end of the day, it is something not as entertaining as you would hope, it is a big dangerous to keep doing this for a long time. What we need to explain to newbies is that trading is a risky business and it takes time to master it. If they jump in without much knowledge, and high confidence then they will keep on losing money.
2254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in 2017 again? How do you feel about the price chart today? on: September 08, 2021, 08:06:14 AM
There nothing to be afraid of, sometime bitcoin price movements make investor heart seem to want to dislodge when the bitcoin price movement chart is not good.
In fact, since it was first created, bitcoin continues to grow so that bitcoin becomes one of the most profitable investment commodities compared to other investment instruments.
Currently, the demand for Bitcoin continues to increase worldwide, while the supply of bitcoin is very limited so the price of Bitcoin has the potential to continue to rise gradually in the future, even some world banks predict the price of Bitcoin will penetrate more than $ 70k for 1 bitcoin.
Those bad days really are something special. I remember everyone in crypto when the price hit from 1400 dollars to 100 dollars or so back in 2014, people imagined that bitcoin had a big bubble and it was burst and it would never recover, imagine thinking bitcoin will never go up when it was 100 dollars.

A lot of those people sold and ran away, which is a very horrible feeling, at the end of the day we are talking about something special with 2018 because it finally reached to 1 trillion dollar marketcap as a whole that year, and then it had a huge crash, dropped to insanely low levels, bitcoin dropped but altcoins dropped even harder and we were at a blank point again and everyone talked about how bitcoin would never recover. You can see the pattern there, whenever price drops down people fear that it will never recover but it always does.
2255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a new blockchain that will compete with Ethereum? on: September 07, 2021, 03:55:48 PM
Binance Smart Chain or BSC for short has become one of Ethereum's strongest competitors in 2021.

Binance Smart Chain can achieve a block processing time of 3 seconds using something called Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA), where participants stake BNB to become validators. If they propose a valid block, they will then receive a fee from the transactions contained in it. Importantly, there is no subsidy for newly minted BNB as BNB is not inflationary and its supply decreases over time as Binance regularly "coins burn".

The idea of a double chain architecture has the big goal of allowing users to seamlessly transfer assets from one blockchain to another. This way, fast trading can be enjoyed on Binance Chain, while powerful dApps can be built on BSC. The two products complement each other.

Binance Chain's BEP-2 and BEP-8 tokens can be exchanged for BEP-20 tokens, a new standard introduced for Binance Smart Chain. Without going into too much detail, the BEP-20 uses the same functionality as its Ethereum ERC-20 counterpart. In addition, the Binance Chain Wallet allows simple token transfers from one chain to another.
BSC is definitely one of the biggest competition that ETH has, even though for some weird reason ADA managed to beat BNB in the rankings, it is easily can be said that BNB is going very strong. That power comes from the DeFi world for now, but the moment there is a huge game in the BSC world you will soon realize that people will be crazy to not go into it, all we need is a good game that gets a lot of funding and a big development team, if we could achieve that in BSC then the price of BNB will go super high once again as well.

It will take time for that to happen for sure, we didn't had the next DeFi on BSC as soon as there was one in ETH neither, it took some time but eventually we got there, I assume by the start of next year we will have a game even more popular than axie infinity (or axie moving to BSC who knows?) in the BSC world making it a lot bigger than ETH world.
2256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here’s what traders expect now that Bitcoin price rallied back to $50K on: September 07, 2021, 12:03:41 PM
Markets tend to behave cyclically and if you can hold on long enough while managing your exposure it can be a steady source of income and knowledge, although it can also be very painful at times. The resistance at $50k was so strong that yesterday the price retreated to $47k, luckily it didn't drop below $47k. today the market is back to support to the figure of $50k but conditions are still very weak.
The turnaround is incredible this time around and many assume that bitcoin will break through to $100k later this year and traders making such predictions are actually just trying to cash in on their long-held buy assets.
I would say that up and down are the only options in the crypto world, or in any market really and that is why I do not think that there is any other option to pick. Bitcoin sometimes goes down and in that period you buy it because that is what you should when its low, then it goes up and that is when you should sell.

Honestly it is all about timing but even if you time it wrong, if you buy when it goes down, it may keep going down but eventually will go up, so if you time it right then you can buy at bottom and sell at peak but even if you do not reach that level of perfection you will eventually end up with doing it correctly if you could simply just buy when it goes down and sell when it goes up because those are the only options.
2257  Economy / Economics / Re: New York Mayoral Candidates Turn to Crypto for Votes on: September 06, 2021, 05:22:56 PM
New York's heavy handed, inefficient and authoritarian policies continue to alienate residents. Forcing them to flee new york for texas or florida. It doesn't appear relief in new york will come anytime soon. Politicians are obsessed with raising taxes, increasing overregulation and redtape and otherwise taking steps to cripple their own business and finance sectors. These promises by new york politicians to "support cryptocurrencies" are likely more of the same. Desperation pleas intended to stall residents and fool them into thinking things will change.

Texas and florida are emerging as crypto friendly states. New york feels forced to do the same to remain competitive and offer attractive living conditions to residents. But these promises by new york have been common for many years and always failed to materialize.
I am not sure the leavers are going to Texas or Florida neither. So far desantis is hated as much as anyone and do not get me started on abbot. Sure New York is a horrible place as well but you do not leave a horrible place and go to another horrible place. Plus, a crypto person in Texas? I am not sure if Texas can handle one more mining corporation, look at what happened last winter. Long story short New yorkers leave but they leave for places that are a bit better than that.

I mean I understand the republican approach of "people run away from democrat places and come to republican places wohoo!! we are the best!" but nobody really buys that. Sorry :/ I wish it was true because we need better places in the world, I wish everywhere was a heaven in the entire world, but it is just not.
2258  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAKE.COM ODDS PROVIDER SCREWED ME OVER HARD on: September 06, 2021, 08:55:29 AM
I mean it happens every now and then, at least you're able to cash out your bet throughout that downtime. It would've ended as a loss if that cashout of yours didn't came through.

I have to agree with you about the cashouts sometimes they work smoothly but there are times where you have to spam it several times until it registers on their end. My only issue with their odds provider is that whenever you're about to bet on a live match there are tendencies where live scores bugs out and provides inaccurate scores for quite a while and at the same time it affects the cashouts and live markets.
The odds provider also limits you from making future high value bets if you manage to make some profit for a few days. I understand a casino/sportsbook is meant to profit the owner, not the gambler but really limiting the user after 5 big wins is quite bad.

@LetsGetIt834 it's best to contact Stunna like many said or just message your VIP host.

Being 100k down and facing such tragedy must hurt really bad, I have sympathy with you here.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spain bans betting adds - no celebrities, no sport sponsorship, no daytime adds on: September 06, 2021, 05:50:19 AM
Hey man, seriously? I'm in favor of the gambling industry but to say that there is nothing wrong with gambling seems too exaggerated for me.
Well, tell me one thing that doesn't have any problems with it. Big industries produce a lot of waste but that doesn't mean you stop the industries. I think the focus should be on controlling gambling addicts instead of banning gambling itself or its ads.

Of course there are bad things in the gaming world. We have the problem of addictions, which in my opinion usually come more from a previous problem of the person than from the game itself, but gambling is not like eating vegetables, where we can say that there is nothing wrong with it.
There is even addiction for some people watching movies, doesn't mean we shall ban movie theatres.

there is the problem of minors, which has already been mentioned. So no, the gambling industry is not as harmless as the cultivation of organic vegetables.
Tighten up the laws regarding minors gambling. Enforce rules if a casino is found to breach the rules, their license shall be revoked and serious punishment shall be served.

Talking of organic vegetables, even there's a risk of some oxytocin injected into them.

Any strategy being used with out stop loss will fail in future trades. This means stop loss use is a very good strategy.

Don't follow the 10% stop loss and something it's ridiculous also once you enter your trade don't do anything, try to wait if your trade will hit target profit or stop loss and lastly don't let your emotion affect your trading.
No I don't wait all the time for my stop loss to hit. I do admit that I have made a wrong entering order when I see it and in those cases, I don't wait for the market to eat up my money because I want to wait for stop loss to be professional. So what I do in such cases is that I just exit immediately especially if I'm already losing. You can know this with the candlestick and trading with candlestick is a strategy of its own.
Stop loss is definitely something you have to use if you are a day trader or a short term trader. However if you are like me and have a long term approach to investment then you should not use it at all. I was holding my coins when they were 64k and was holding them when they were 29k and now holding them at 50k, at what should I sold? I mean if I was smart enough to sell at 60k and buy at 30k and sell at 50k again to make the maximum profit, then I wouldn't be a long term investor, I would have traded and be a billionaire now.

However since I am not that smart to know when to buy and when to sell, I hold it long term and that always ends up with happy results for me. This is why I suggest not doing a stop loss if you are not great at trading, buy something, sell it when you have "enough" profit, and if it goes down, just wait for it to go back up.
