Not sure whats happening with the price but there is only good news and developement going on with this coin + it has a really good and unique feature.
There is obviously a bot on cryptsy but how can/could it drive the price down when everyone sees its automated.

While we understand Darkcoin can be used for things that are illegal/unlawful purposes, we (the Darkcoin Devs) would prefer not to be associated with that in any way. What DarkSend offers is just a more private blockchain, which is useful for all legitimate business also. However, we can't really control what is done with the technology or how it is used.
Fully understandable, but a wallett issue (integrating wallet payment within a website) is a general issue, and if they achieve success with it, they can help others who will have less issues after them. (legit businesses) Doubt they would deny help. |

Not sure what he thinks while making a coin aimed at total anonymity, but atleast half of the population would use it for illegal stuff or things they are not proud of. Won't hurt to ask, I would help if I could  i sent evan a pm Ill give your market a try btw when its finished, any aprox date on it? Frontend is supposed to be finished by next Friday, this wallet business is a pain, another week after that (got my fingers crossed) Once its done, I'm hiring design work, a full code audit & pen test by two third parties. I am here and try to fix the situation by closing new registrations but it just doesnt help a lot. As mentioned above - my pool seems to be just stable and thats why people are mining here - I will not close mining just because I have 50% of network.
Anyway I am working with lottermining pool op to fix the problem with incorrect shares and all users on my pools seems to be valid ones atm.

No reason to keep it closed source even for a second after the project is finished. The open-source community would just leave instantly. Why do you even suggest to keep it closed for a while after its finished? That wouldn't count as a feature in the eye of this community as a whole.

If you look at the transaction volume of DOGE and VTC, about 20% if it comes from DOGE/CNY and VTC/CNY trades rather than BTC pairs. We *need* a Chinese webpage explaining what DRK does and a Chinese wallet translation to help these new DRK users. Any speakers out there? Also, VOTE. Then we can create bounties for all sorts of darkcoin projects such as a Chinese website, Chinese wiki, marketing campaigns, raising donations for good causes (with an eye for generating 'publicity' from them, to prove the darkcoin community is generous and not 'dark' at all), as well as bounties for Darkcoin apps such as wallets designed for mobile devices etc. The list is basically endless and we need place to organise the funding of it it all. Sadly checked and I don't have the resources to make it. Found plugins for a potential site that solves bitcoin payments and funding, they work together with blockchain API but Darkcoin doesn't have those tools so I can't really customize the plugin. All I could do is build a simple website with nice design, registration, place to send in the campaigns and I would manually add them, the mainpage with the crowdfunding campaigns, seperate wallett adresses for the campaigns and progress bars which I would update on a daily basis. So it wouldn't be as automated as vertcoinmarket.com but it could be usable. Could be called "DarkFunding" |

I am thinking of buying 1-2 BTC as this coin seems to grow fast and seems innovative and legit. But i hate cryptsy, polonium has its problems now and coinedup isnt the best one to work with...
any thoughts?
Cryptsy probably won't lose your money and its not slow in terms of DRK transactions. Didn't have problems with coinedup but it was terribly slow when I was using it a month ago. |
