I don;t know bout the above questions but I like his quote:

"In terms of revolutionary potential NXT is like fire and electricity... but better"

May I propose to not use the word darkNXT? It's not a good term in terms of PR and marketing.

Aye, let's use "deadNXT".

DeepNXT or zombieNXT

A site that displays distribution of NXT would be GREAT!!!

How would it work?
Look for all accounts. Make a list how many NXT each account hold. Sort them by NXT amount. Make a graph out of it. Wink

sorry i was thinking alot the lines of a mapping the distribution...not graphing it. Wink

EDIT: Across all accounts or Nodes...

You could always send to your own accounts....so it would give a distorted picture.
2251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 06, 2014, 10:36:26 AM

This 750+ page thread isn't the best place to discuss it as all history quickly gets lost. Later this evening I'll open a thread in one of the other forums and put some information there.

Post to both Nextcoin & Nxtcrypto.org

This idea is great!

Question for BCnext:

What are the most inportant 5 things the community should do, in order to properly support nxt in the next 6 months?

+1

This should be the 1st QUESTION....or No. 2
2253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 06, 2014, 10:20:18 AM
hi, i'm yueye000

Considering  Arbitrary Message is coming soon, I thinking about add more information into the alias, making this system more socialize.
at least we need a avatar.

Could the avatar be actual pictures of people...like family, friends etc. also?

Edit: Sorry I think "snake.png" answers it...so we can add .png files nice.

How many NXT does BCNext own?

I think he mentioned earlier that he would be only one of the stakeholders (5% MAX holding)...so my guess is he is number 2 after Dgex....His may be the account which is always forging.

...we/the market needs something fun during the Nxt 4 weeks....

BCNext offers a fun game to the community.

Taken from: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=364218.0

"So, what does make Nxt a really next-gen currency? Not those nice features like decentralized exchange, or decentralized DNS, or decentralized app store. The transparent mining algo does, and this is only the 1st part of BCNext's plan..."

1) What's the 2nd part of the plan?
2256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 06, 2014, 09:23:03 AM
Well, there are other priorities in coding, I am sure. It's just if it's not too much work to add this API, users have to have fun with something for the next 4 weeks, ya know Smiley

If we release new features too fast:
1. Client developers won't be able to go on par with the core features
2. NXT price won't become affordable for ordinary people

These 2 points r vital for success of Nxt.

You're probably right, however, 'ordinary' people tend to buy (more) when the price grows, because psychologically it's easier, so I am not so sure about #2. Anyway, it's not like I was going to sell or buy any aliases in the near future Smiley

I;m looking to SELL a few...

But wouldn;t Alias transfer tie in with Alias system which is already released...we/the market needs something fun during the Nxt 4 weeks....

EDIT: Actually it would allow others to transfer alias from those corrupted/hacked accounts...anyhow....I few weeks is not very long. Wink
2258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 06, 2014, 09:12:01 AM
Am I mistaken to assume alias transfer happens simultaneously with Asset Exchange?

@CfB,

it would be nice to have an API call to transfer alias to an account of choice for a fee. This could open a fun market for alias trading right now Smiley

Lets do this....we need to increase our speed.

Yeah agree...I was trying to get across the same point but I think we have to wait for VS to decide Alias Transfer.

@ CfB

When the Nxt Asset Exchange feature will release?

AFAIK...The client for Nxt Asset Exchange should be ready for testing in ~3 weeks....Nexern is working on it now.

So Nxt Asset Exchange feature to be released a week after if all testing goes fine.

Edit: This is what I read from Nexern's announcement few days ago.
