What are you talking about? Bitcoin did not have a halving event yesterday nor did polygon get anywhere near $3. Do you mean back in 2020 or something? The next bitcoin halving isn't until around May of 2024. At that point I can see polygon around $3 again..hopefully.
Polygon could easily reach well above $3 if mainstream adoption grows at a very fast pace. We've already seen some companies like Disney and Coca-Cola adopting the MATIC chain for their own benefit, so it should only be a matter of time before the cryptocurrency explodes in price. If other smart contract platforms reached the "double digits", then I don't see why MATIC can't do the same. It's a great cryptocurrency that brings high-performance and cost-efficiency to the "De-Fi" space. I think it's pretty undervalued, considering all of the benefits it provides to the end users. It's trading right now at less than $1 per coin, so I'd advise anyone to get in before it's too late. Knowing that Bitcoin is the main mover of the market, a high-priced BTC would surely drive MATIC all the way to the moon. Just remember to never invest more than what you can't afford to lose and there should be nothing stopping you from becoming filthy rich in the future. Just my thoughts  The cool thing about holding MATIC is the fact that you get airdrops, like the one from MAXX finance on their website now, and the fact that you can stake MATIC for around 10% APY. That's much better returns than just holding BTC or staking ETH. The 50% sell and 50% hold strategy is indeed very good if you are an investor,
because if the price drops after the pump, then you can buy it again, and you can certainly get more coins like you do Staking.

We can not predict anything with 100% surety, what is going to happen after Ethereum merger, most likely hard fork will happen and Ethereum will split into 2 tokens ETHS & ETHW, majority is supporting ETHS but many exchanges like MEXC have also listed ETHW and its trading is going on there. The tokens created on Ethereum will work on both block chains and token holders will get 2 tokens, one on each block chain. This is what likely to happen but I am not 100% sure. I think you can mine ETHW if it performs well after the merger. DYOR
This is interesting, thanks for participating (I don't have any merits to give you). I did not know that a POW ETH crypto will stay. Maybe those ETH holders who want POW will stick with ETHW after all. The best one is kadena, this is a Proof of Work project and it has a very active team, the only problem is mining profitability, the reward is lower compare to Ethereum and Ethereum Classic mining.
I just saw today, by pure chance, that somehow this project is associated with the names SEC and JP Morgan for some reason. I won't bother looking further, not for trading reasons, maybe it will perform better, but just because I am also looking for a crypto long term that is in line with my values. Sounds interesting if ERGO coin is a POW/POS cryptocurrency based on Ethereum with some unique features. but what is important here is about the use of ERGO tokens and others later although It has the power to support smart contracts, which is not possible in ordinary cryptocurrencies.
No, ERGO is not a token, it has its own blockchain. They've got their own DEX, that seems to be working well, and a lot of other ongoing projects that I did not look at yet (except for the mixer that they proudly say it's "non custodial"). Their founder looks really passionate about his job from what I've seen. Upon checking the key figures in this project, they tweet a lot about the importance of trustless systems, privacy, and the original principals of the foundation of Bitcoin. I like it. I don't get to see that much often in other spaces, other than price speculation, hype, some nice ideas, but not about what really crypto was supposed to be in the first place. A problem I see though is that the founder is not a good speaker unfortunately, which might exclude some type of investors and even some potential users. Thanks for the compliments. Staking of Ethereum is a good option to generate passive income but we need minimum 32 ETH to qualify for staking which everybody can not afford. It will be interesting to see if ETHW continues working as competitor of Ethereum like ETC and performs to the expectations of its investors then it could be cheaper option for staking.
