1621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can golden cross on S & P chart trigger buying in Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2023, 01:03:47 PM
it sometimes worked and sometimes was a nice trap. So pretty much works 50% of the time. And at that point you pretty much can just use another indicator.

You are correct, it is a technical pattern which has probability of success but there is no guarantee that it will work in all cases. Technical analysts are generally based on historical data & patterns, but it is not a perfect science. The past performance of any pattern doesn't mean that they will also work in future. I think it is a good idea to use multiple indicators to have better understanding of market sentiment/condition, and to confirm your trading decision.

1623  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: February 07, 2023, 05:49:50 PM
Hello Everyone,

If one doesn't spend their crypto for purchases and wait for to spend their crypto when its price is nice, are they really considering it as a cryptocurrency or can we assume like those people are treating more like a security or investment instrument?

I think the willingness to spend crypto currency and use it to buy goods & services, varies among individuals, and  depends on number of factors, such as their belief in long term stability & growth of crypto currency & its security system & their overall financial situation. Some people may view it as speculative investment & only spend it when necessary, while others may use it for everyday purchase. Ultimately, how someone chooses to use it, depends on his views about crypto currency and  financial goals.
1624  Economy / Economics / Re: "Prepare for defation in 2023" on: February 07, 2023, 02:18:55 PM

Prepare to experience a big surge for Bitcoin like it was 2015 - 2017 Cool

Deflation is always worse than inflation. Deflation means sustained decrease in prices of goods and services, can have several negative consequences on economy such as , decreased spending, reduced investment in new projects and hiring. This ultimately results in increase in unemployment which is not only bad for economy but also impacts vote bank of ruling party.

It is expected, that during deflation the both stocks and crypto markets may perform poorly.
I don't think FED will allow deflation to occur in USA, they will start printing money as soon as they detect some signs of deflation.

1626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Can golden cross on S & P chart trigger buying in Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2023, 06:18:12 PM
Golden cross is a technical analysis pattern where 50-days simple moving crosses(SMA) crosses above SMA 200, it is potentially considered as an early signal of bullish trend, and may indicate sustained uptrend in stock market This golden cross has recently occurred on S & P chat. Given the traditional correlation between stocks and Bitcoin, this may be seen as good news for Bitcoin investors and could potentially drive sustained buying in crypto currency. DYOR

1627  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset : 6 key differences on: February 06, 2023, 01:08:45 PM
There is a wide gap between the rich and the poor. They both have different mindset.

🗝️🗝️ The rich believe that money makes money. They see money as an opportunity but the poor people see it as something to be earned. 🗝️🗝️

The key difference between rich and poor mindset in my opinion is, the people with rich mind set focus on growth, always take timely action and perceive opportunities with positive outlook, whereas those with poor mindset have scarcity mentality, focus on short term gains and always have excuse for not taking action on time and have negative attitude. A successful individual always belies in continuously learning and  never blames external factor for his failure, instead learns lessons from mistakes and moves on.

You got your neutral trust because of 2 reasons:

Thanks for your kind gesture to remove neutral feedback from my trust page. I appreciate it.

I was unaware that, posting pyramid quotes was considered spam. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I have ceased posting them.

Additionally, I also decided to avoid  making posts on Politics & Society, as debates on these topics  often lead to personnel conflicts, which are not conducive to maintaining harmonious community.

As far as quality is concerned, "it is a race which has no finish line", we all learn from mistakes and continually strive to improve all aspects of our life and hardly get there where we want to reach. It is a never ending struggle.

Thank you again for your help.
1629  Economy / Economics / Re: Given the declining trend of inflation, will FED freeze the interest rates ? on: February 06, 2023, 04:28:53 AM

It is a good question.

But the answer is no.

Thanks for your in-depth explanation of different scenarios and their potential impact on interest rates in the USA.
It is worth noting  that Insurance companies in the USA  make their profit by investing in Bond markets which is generally considered a secure investment. I think they will also have opportunity to generate profits by investing in stock market, in case it starts performing as a result of lower interest rates.

1631  Economy / Economics / Given the declining trend of inflation, will FED freeze the interest rates ? on: February 05, 2023, 04:20:17 PM
Although it is hard to predict anything about the monetary policy with certainty,  but  given the current  declining trend of inflation, there is a possibility that FED may choose to freeze interest rates at current level. This could have  very positive impact on all financial markets including Bitcoin & other crypto currencies, as it may increase investment inflows and contribute to overall economic growth.

1632  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: February 05, 2023, 01:05:10 PM
This conflict  has not only caused devastating  impact on economies of Russia & Ukraine, but also its spillover impact disturbed the global economy at large & created significant challenges and disruptions. The ongoing conflict has  reduced trade & investment flows & led to decrease in economic growth. Additionally, the economic uncertainty, increasing risk of security & disruption in supply chain has far reaching impact on global economy, which will continue suffering until this war comes to an end. International organizations like United Nations, NATO & European Union should intervene to bring both parties to the a negotiating table to reach a peaceful  settlement to end this conflict.
1633  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: February 05, 2023, 09:40:02 AM
"Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin" this question was asked by a friend

My reply to her is this:
It is generally not advisable to take out a loan to purchase Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and the value of a particular coin can fluctuate greatly in a short period of time. This means that the value of the coin you purchase with a loan could drop, making it difficult to repay the loan. It is important to do your own research and make sure you understand the risks before investing in any financial product, including Bitcoin.

What is your advice?

I think taking loan for investing in Bitcoin for the long term can be risky proposition , but it is not necessarily a bad idea if you have steady income to repay the loan. The key factor to success is to believe in Bitcoin and not get get overly affected by day of day fluctuations in Bitcoin price. By maintaining your emotional control you increase your chances of coming ahead in the long run.
1634  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: February 05, 2023, 07:01:37 AM
Hello,

My View about bitcoin was on january 1st that this is not bottom and bitcoin with fall further ,
but watching this rally today and yesterday i think bottom is gone , the marketcap of crypto is up by 150billion,
850 bilion to 1 trillion

and daily chart is looking bullish according to technicals with high volume

https://ibb.co/HhJdtvJ

tell me if i am wrong or right experts

I think it is too early to conclude that bear market for Bitcoin is over and that it has entered in Bullish phase. The interest rate increase of only 25 basis points was a good stimulant for the market but it failed to push the price above 25K,although  it briefly pushed the price above 24K but quickly retreated. It is stable above 23K which is a good sign.Technically , although it is trading above DMA20 but it should break 25k and show sustained growth  on weekly chart, to confirm bullish trend.

Ye Dikho Mai ne 40$ ka small trade Liye Ustc jo k pump hone k mood Mai tha aur mje LG Raha tha ye AJ jaege. Meri buying btrade 0.034 tha magar jab Thora oper gia tho ma ne stop loss lagaya aur so gia, jab jaaga tho bahot Khush Huwa price dikh kar magr Mera already sell ho Chuka tha

Ap ko phelay trading seekh leni chayee. Stoploss usually loss ko bechany ky liey hota hay na k take profit lenay k liey.
Dorrsi baat yeh k sab coins nay abhi uper hi jana hay kion k bitcoin bullish hay abhi, aur app ki buying tu spot mein thi, tu itna daar kion tha juldi trade close kernay ka ?

Abhi bhi Jo log haa crypto maa woh sabb chupky chupky karr rahy haa lakin issky bawajood hum 6th postion pa haa it's good, I think abhi only 5% people crypto sy wakif haa aur Sahi maano ma crypto trading karr rahy haa.
agr yeh crypto Pakistan ma legalized hojaya toh ik toh faida yeh hoga ky Jo bhi trading ma profit kary ga woh pkr ma change kary gaa toh country ma dollar ayaa ga Jo ky foreign reserve barhai ga as a result economy bahtr hote jaya ge but unfortunately hamary leaders ko yeh Samaj nahi araha

Crypto adoption ka aur bohat c faida hien aur sab c bara faida k app IMF aur USA ka gulam ni rehtay kion k app ki ecomony dollar p depend ni rethi. but jo app nay example di hay, its a two way story. Kion k bohat saray log crypto trading mein bohat paisa lose kertay hien, tu asa bhi ho sakta hay k hum dollar mulk mein lanay ki bajayee trading mein liquidate ho k ulta dollar lose ker dein.

Brothers, crypto adoption in Pakistan is not so simple & straight forward as commonly thought, it is a complex issue which involves many dimensions, such as public awareness, infrastructure & political will of government. Adoption of extreme volatile currency like Bitcoin can result in an economy that operates like casino. The adoption of Bitcoin as legal tender in El-Salvador led to substantial  losses for their economy due to significant drop in Bitcoin price.

We should consider adoption, once Bitcoin market capitalization reaches to a stable level of 5 trillion which will indicate a wider base and potentially more stability.
1637  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: February 04, 2023, 03:35:11 PM
The massive awareness to keep bitcoins for as long as possible promotes people to develop the attitude of saving, just like saving money. Do you agree with this that people who are very good at saving money become very good at keeping bitcoins when they finally start doing cryptocurrency? Or do you feel that there is no similarity between keeping bitcoins and keeping money?

They are similar in the sense that both require certain level of financial discipline and long term planning. However, they are also different as saving money in traditional banks is easier because of its  familiarity and stability of the financial system, whereas Bitcoin is highly volatile, decentralized but has seen unparalleled returns over the past decade, surpassing other assets.
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I decided to buy some fractions of BTC after discussion with members here on: February 04, 2023, 11:54:29 AM
I agree with your overall point Ultegra134; however, I would clarify that you can be persistent and even assertive with your ongoing investment into bitcoin, but there is no imperative to have to be overly aggressive or to have to try to compete with anyone else in terms of trying to make up for lost time.. in regards to NOT investing earlier.

In other words, I think that it is better to consider the whole ONGOING BTC accumulation matter as a kind of way to be as sufficiently aggressive as reasonable, and to make sure that we do not overdo it within our budgets.. so if we can reasonably accommodate $100 per week, then great, but if our budget does not really allow that much, then we have to figure out what is allowable without overly stressing our own budget in terms of cashflow coming in, expenses and our psychology in regards to NOT having too many extra pressures.

If we keep buying on a regular basis, it is likely that we are going to see progress with the passage of time, but how much progress will likely vary depending on how aggressive that we are able to be without overdoing it..... We should not end up overdoing it, and then find ourselves with few or no coins because we failed/refused to adequately have our budget (and psychology) in a good place to be able to weather the likely inevitable good times and the bad times.. that can sometimes happen in extreme ways both in terms of time and intensities.
That's true; people are afraid of missing out and are panicking and buying Bitcoin in an attempt to make up for lost time. As someone who entered the Bitcoin scene early but has only had a tiny amount since then, I can relate. However, you need to be cautious and set limits on how much you can afford to invest every week, month, etc. There's absolutely no reason to rush and attempt to compete with others; whether we like it or not, some users had a head start.

Exchanges, such as Binance or Bitstamp, are generally safe, and chances are that you'll have no issues with their services; they are also newbie friendly.

I think crypto exchanges play very crucial role in promoting growth and adoption of Bitcoin by providing a platform for buying selling and trading Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. They constantly upgrade their trading platforms to make transactions easier. They also play important role by attracting new user though educational  material and technical analysis which leads to increased liquidity as more people join the crypto echo system. Hence, buying Bitcoin in fractions on dips from any reputable exchange, and accumulating it, is not a bad idea, but once you have significant holding , it is better to transfer Bitcoin to your personnel wallet.
1639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which countries do you think this year will adopt Bitcoin as a Legal tender? on: February 04, 2023, 08:18:35 AM
I would have said Tonga, but the natural disaster that occurred recently might have slowed down that process.

It's probably going to be a small country that uses a lot remittances. They would be tempted to stop paying those huge fees to American money transfer companies.

Probably the last one to join would be the US.

Though it is difficult to predict which country will adopt Bitcoin next, as it depends on various factors,  such as government political will , regulations,  public awareness and infrastructure. However, both Tonga and United Arab Emirates have shown some positive signs towards adoption of crypto currencies, and it will be interesting to see how the citizens and governments respond towards this emerging technology in future.
1640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big money bad for bitcoin in the long run on: February 04, 2023, 02:51:42 AM
As bitcoin continues on its current bullish path, all kinds of people are trying to ride this wave by buying any cheap coins they can get their hands on as they anticipate the next High to come. But the scary part about this is that Big money is also flowing into the crypto economy that will push price to easily register new highs, but this comes at a price, when these whales decide to take out their money.. markets bleed red which is why Big money is not good if volatility is to be controlled. In the long run Bitcoin is better off without the Big money, otherwise this becomes like a pyramid scheme always leaving the last man standing with empty pockets as the first guy to make a move gets all the accumulated $$$$.

What's the community's take on this?

The crypto market, with a capitalization of around 2 Trillion, which is far below, when we compare it to Gold and stock markets, is considered to have room for further growth and investment by many analysts. The general view of community is that entry of more  money into crypto market will bring more stability & legitimacy to crypto market, which will drive more growth and adoption. This could also lead to reduction in manipulation, as the base of holders will become wider.
