Wasn't referring to you in particular or people asking questions.
I am talking about the people selling at IPO price or less and those posting negative comments about "where is dev" Smiley

Everything will be fine. Time for everyone to chill and help out. There are plenty of funds from IPO to do stuff.

Heh, was wondering a bit what you were referring to, as you quoted me when posting. Although I did ask where the dev was in regard to the pledge things... I found it odd pledges were brought up at all.

I don't really get those selling below ipo prices, unless they are people who got the cheap dumps. For those putting up sell orders, I don't think it makes a whole lot of sense to pile up in the 25K or less range. Might as well wait and see how things pan out.

2242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITTREX.COM] LitecoinPlus (XLC) / fast / green / bounties on: May 16, 2014, 03:06:52 AM

Yeah you guys have to realize you are getting all FUDDY yet the dev is here every day working and posting multiple times per day.
It's been not even 48 hours hardly. You are your own worst enemies.

You forgot last night someone was buying up the coins to 50% profit already yet people starting dumping today. Just plain silly.
Give your coins to someone else please.

This is IPO territory so don't buy IPOs if you cannot handle them. A word to the wise.
I will be holding and will throw more BTC down if things go well.

When someone asks for pledges for things the dev should be doing, it's not unreasonable to ask if the dev is actually doing any of that stuff. As for prices, people will post about them on all threads... can't be helped, nor is it a bad thing to evaluate the market. Actually it seems everyone posting has been holding their coins above ipo prices.

As for myself, I don't have a ton of coins ... sold some pre-ipo on Bittrex (in the 70-80Ks) when people, including myself, thought the ipo was over. Then bought more during the Bittrex ipo, sold some during the initial rise, bought some more below ipo prices, and am just holding what I have ... which by now is all paid for. So don't assume posts are all about complaining, or people having ipo jitters. It's mostly just about wanting more information.

cool...now that you posted a pic...feel free to NOT reply for another 2 weeks...

 Roll Eyes

I said the same thing last time, I'm not disappearing, there's just more stuff to do in the background than on the forums. People were suggesting to keep posting so the thread rises to the top but for the moment there's no new developments (yet). I'll try to be more active but I'd rather show up with good news than simply chitchat so that people don't think I ran away. I haven't gone anywhere.

Glad to see you back... or sorta back, I guess.

My questions are, what are you doing in the background? Is the premine locked up? What are the plans for the local giveaways?

Android wallet is fine and all, but do you really think it matters a great deal at the moment?
2244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITTREX.COM] LitecoinPlus (XLC) / fast / green / bounties on: May 16, 2014, 01:59:14 AM
UPDATE

XLC has barely launched and everyone is worrying about the coins price and the dev.

Right now my priorities are hashcows, a second exchange, network security and the block explorer.

I am still here Smiley

Anytime a coin slips below ipo prices, it's a concern. It's just human nature... can't expect folks to not notice it, especially after watching what happened to LCL.

Anyway, good to see you are still around. Just general info on what is planned can be helpful.
2245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpartanCoin - Cryptocoin for the competitive world. on: May 16, 2014, 01:49:05 AM
Does anyone know what happened to SPN trading on Bittrex?... Doesn't seem to be available. People were starting to buy at the 1 satoshi price a lot more over recent days. If they have decided to take it down I think this could be of benefit anyway as when we get onto Mintpal and that will be soon with the speed we are moving up past other coins in line there will be less preconception for initial price setting and we can hopefully get some buy and sell orders generate higher then we were seeing on Bittrex.

I wondered about that too. Should we move whatever coin we have on Bittrex off, or is trading just temporarily suspended?

I'd like to see the coin on Poloniex, but I guess that isn't happening for whatever reason.
2246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITTREX.COM] LitecoinPlus (XLC) / fast / green / bounties on: May 16, 2014, 12:40:58 AM
I know someone who can make a website but he charges few hundred bucks and can be paid also in btc if that helps.

guys, I dont understand!!!! Is it the job of the dev to arrange all those things Huh? Website etc..... to raise a fund or do it by himself? This is his coin ! Huh??

Yeah, that's what I don't get either. He should be the one not only posting, but doing those things. And no need to raise any funds at all, in my opinion, as he just gathered plenty of btc from the ipo.

Looking at current prices and it's not exactly great... sell side is better than I expected, nobody has piled up insanely large sell orders at ipo prices, which is a plus. But buy support is close to nil.
2247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITTREX.COM] LitecoinPlus (XLC) / fast / green / bounties on: May 15, 2014, 06:33:13 PM
I pledge XLC for the following bounties and hope others join me!

Website:
100 XLC TwinWinNerD

Blockexplorer:

50 XLC TwinWinNerD

Logo/Artwork:
25 XLC TwinWinNerD

I may be wrong, but why are pledges needed at all? Why isn't any of the ipo money being used for those things? Perhaps my memory is foggy, but didn't the dev say that the funds (or at least some of the funds) raised by the XLC ipo would go towards development?

And if the dev has just taken his ipo money and gone home, there is little point to raising pledges. I don't think lightning will strike twice and a decent new team will take over this coin.
2248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Darkcoin fanboys are even worse than Quark & NXT shills on: May 15, 2014, 06:24:37 PM
I'm a DRK supporter, but anything this fast is a pump. The question should be, will there be a dump? DRK has been pretty dump-resistant overall, even the few times it has been pumped up a little bit, its fallback has never been that far... and then it just picks up again. Unlike regular pump/dump coins DRK never collapses after a pump. I'm just curious where the new floor will be.
2249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | ASIC Resistant on: May 15, 2014, 05:55:40 PM
I think the crypto gods like to laugh at me.

I've always considered DRK the main coin I'd try to accumulate, and started with basically nothing btc-wise several months ago. When DRK was cheap, I couldn't afford very many, but got what I could. Now that I have some btc after making it off of other coins, DRK shoots up to insane levels.

I do have  enough DRK for one masternode + little leftover, but I may be one of the few people here wanting the price to go down temporarily... just so I can pick up some extra coins. I don't nearly have as much as I hoped.

Well, you've still got your smurfs. It's not all doom n gloom little fella.

Actually, I don't have any smurfs yet. Even the smurf gods laugh at me... such woe...

So I know wallet-wise, is the old wallet still okay to use, or should we update to the newer darksend version? I should collect all my loose dark into my wallet when I have time, as I have around 100 or so floating on exchanges. I do at least have 1150 or so DRK, so it's not like I didn't get any collected up at all, so nah, it's not all doom n gloom.

When an idiot's guide to masternodes come out, I'll try to set mine up.

Paitence guys! The people that dump now, bought the coin to make a quick buck. Let them dump, then we can promote this coin the right way. Don't get fooled!

I agree that people shouldn't dump at these prices  -- although I do have a low order in, so if anyone does, thanks, I'll eat some up -- the lack of buy support is worrying. Nobody is throwing bitcoins at below ipo prices, just small amounts.

Assuming the dev reads this and didn't abandon the coin, it'd probably be wise from him to comment on plans for the coin here.
2252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BitcoinPlus (XBC) / Crypto, Fiat, Bullion pairs / Multipool / Bounties on: May 15, 2014, 05:07:48 PM
Mismanaged coin. Any questions about the Wallet in the IRC and you get told to shut up and wait and "didn't you hear the last announcement" and... we need to test more so it's perfect.

I have given up on you guys, you couldn't manage a piss up in a brewery!

How long has it been since the new wallet was supposed to come out, 1-2 weeks? People are so insanely impatient in cryptoland, I don't quite get it. Again, other coins have had wallet issues drag on over a month. Wouldn't you rather the wallet be bug free, than rushed out? I think this new dev just started on the wallet less than a week ago?

Besides, say a new wallet came out tonight. How does that make everything right in your world vs several days from now? Unless it's an all-singing/all-dancing wallet, I don't see why it matters.
2253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITTREX.COM] LitecoinPlus (XLC) / fast / green / bounties on: May 15, 2014, 04:58:33 PM
People, stop dumping your XLC! Relax, it's only been one day. It's a good coin, POS wallet works, low total number of coins, there is no reason to dump like this. I'm buying cheap XLC!

Did I miss some terrible news about the coin to cause the dump, or is it just impatience? I don't understand why people would bother selling below ipo prices. I guess some people just expected an immediate pump, 2x or more, and to cash out. Although if they did, they should have sold during its initial rise.
2254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BitcoinPlus (XBC) / Crypto, Fiat, Bullion pairs / Multipool / Bounties on: May 15, 2014, 04:26:54 PM

Well then the gamblers will leave and XBC once ready will attract the more hardcore serious investor types which is good in my opinion, less pumping and dumping.

Possibly. But the gambler type seems to make up a really large percentage of coin holders, so I wouldn't just dismiss them. Hardcore serious investor types also will hold the coin to a higher standard, so the committee/dev team will need to do some really nice things to attract them.

I do agree that less pumping/dumping would be nice. I am used to calm coins that sort of move up slowly (DRK), not coins that can't find its floor. I'd much prefer slow growth.
2255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITTREX.COM] LitecoinPlus (XLC) / fast / green / bounties on: May 15, 2014, 04:16:22 PM
Why did my critical posts get removed a few days ago? I was not fudding, just voicing my opinion in civilised way.

I know the IPO passed already and there is no use reposting anyway so instead I would like to compliment XBCplus for being a genius, every time getting people to pay him 50BTC for a new release that he then abandons immediately.

All the people cooperating with him are making some money on it too and the noobs and other bagholders are the weak that loose out to these pocketstuffers. It's up to you, choose to be on any or no side of this scamming dealings, just don't complain afterwards because the red flags are raised big time.

I would have thought anyone investing in this would have known what they are getting into beforehand. XBC did well because a good new team took over (although it's not doing particularly great at the moment). Unless this dev actively supports XLC, or finds a team for it, it of course may have some problems.

Right now the price is still over ipo levels, but the issue is lack of buy support. We shall see what the dev does about this.

I invested a small amount realizing it should bounce up because of hype. And it did. This bounce ended much quicker than I expected (basically left the screen for less than an hour, and it was over). I assumed some of the issues were due to the fact it was on bittrex, but maybe not. Anyway, we shall see. There is no point for anyone to sell at below ipo prices, so might as well hold the coins and wait it out.
2256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BitcoinPlus (XBC) / Crypto, Fiat, Bullion pairs / Multipool / Bounties on: May 15, 2014, 04:01:24 PM
The price is going to be played with right now while we're building the foundation.  There's also been some well deserved successes for other coins on the market.  This has drawn a bit of attention away from XBC while we are getting ready for the relaunch.  Eyes are on us.  As soon as the foundation is in place, we're going bombs away.  As always, feel free to join us in freenode IRC Chan #XBC for conversation, to join the community and for updates in real-time as they are announced.

I think the biggest mistake the new team has made so far isn't the delay with the wallets, but was asking people to send all their coins to poloniex in anticipaton of the coin swapover. This raised false expectations that the wallet was ready at that moment. It also was like telling a compulsive gambler to go empty his bank account and bring all of his money to the casino. People are extremely impatient, see other coins moving up, and either panic sell, or just want to get in on other coins. Things like LCL and XLC probably drained some money out of XBC too.

So testing and such is important, but if possible, I really suggest getting this wallet thing fixed by the end of this week. If it drags on too long, I think people will gamble away their XBC just because they see it all sitting there.
2257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BitcoinPlus (XBC) / Crypto, Fiat, Bullion pairs / Multipool / Bounties on: May 15, 2014, 07:34:54 AM
Does anyone else feel like we're being strung along? I sold half my DRK for this coin ffs!

Not really, as there would be no reason to. Other coins that needed wallet fixes also took a bit of time, if I recall correctly. I am not even sure if that Clean Water coin has managed to fix their wallet issue after like a month or so of problems.

I would say selling DRK may not have been the best idea though. It's the one coin I basically hold onto regardless of anything else.
2258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITTREX.COM] LitecoinPlus (XLC) / fast / green / bounties on: May 15, 2014, 03:11:04 AM

Actually not so. Bittrex has seen many hundreds of BTCs in volume per day. Same as Polo.
It brought us many big coins before they hit the main exchanges. It's basically #4 exchange and Polo is #3. They are not far apart.
If you look at volume today actually Bittrex is already close to Polo. Will probably pass it with XLC there.

The coin launched hours ago -- Why put buy support? We want the weak hand coins first.
Not going to take weak hands up 10 fold and then pay them 10x their money. They need to leave first.

Shaking them out.

edit -- no one selling really though at those prices. Buy walls may need to move up Tongue

On a marketing note -- Let's get the Explorer out and submit to CMC today.

Could be right... I'm used to looking at the smaller coins at Bittrex and seeing very little volume, so it could simply be I have been looking at the wrong coins.

In regard to buy support, I just meant in reference to xbc during its ipo days. So long as weak hands don't get too weak and start dumping at crazy prices, things should be okay.
2259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BITTREX.COM] LitecoinPlus (XLC) / fast / green / bounties on: May 15, 2014, 02:20:32 AM
AAAnnnd their dumping lol

Weak hands must be flushed. It is always this way. Same with XBC before it went up 4400%.

My concern is the fact it's on bittrex, as the volume it normally handles isn't the same as poloniex. XBC had stronger buy support... a lot stronger.

But we'll see. I have a couple of hundred coins only... sold some during the initial rise, so I'm playing with house money right now.
2260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NEW UPDATE] LitecoinPlus (XLC) / fast / green / bounties on: May 14, 2014, 10:36:00 PM
I find Bittrex so confusing. It's like the columns are different to all other exchanges.

Anyhow, is the IPO still going?

Bittrex is sort of confusing... and annoying to use. I don't know how they managed it, but their last update made it even more of a pain to find the coin you are looking for and made their pages load in slow motion (at least for me). Still... it's better than the dinkier exchanges, they do at least have a small amount of volume.

Something I figure the big ipo buyers should already know, but don't treat bittrex like a larger exchange, or even like poloniex. Meaning don't put up giant sell orders and then wonder why you scare prices downward. Volume at bittrex can sometimes be small at first.
