Welcome onboard mate. I see you have a good project to  render Services with. I had to access your website and it was quite moderate in terms of graphics but you would have to improve on it though a little bit and another is the issue of registration. I had a difficult time trying to get registered with my Android phone from my end here as the registration form is not in a full scale android screen size but bigger and therefore was not able to do some typing.

Your introduction here is some how distorted. Why not edit your post and capture all the other explanations you made in the cause of answering questions to members here.

Lastly, i would suggest you upgrade your account to a copper member so you could upload graphics of your website so it could be catchy and attractive to others upon they visiting. I see you are very much active here which is a good sign of a good representation. You will have to be consistent in being online so that you can be able to constantly communicate with potential customers and members here as this would be the best and fastest means of reaching out to the members.
2242  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: April 25, 2023, 01:00:30 PM
For the sake of investing bitcoin do not be desperate to take a loan. Taking loan might bring you to a much more higher interest rates and surcharges specially if your bitcoin investment goes down. If that happens you might not be able to pay your debt and the interests will go higher and higher. Better yet save some money and do not in a hurry to invest. There are still a lot of time you can invest. Do not risk on getting a loan because it can make your life miserable if you did not profit on your bitcoin investment.

Getting a loan is not bad but  you should know that the loan should equate your income so as to meet up with your payment as you plan doing.
What you should do is to work out payment plan for the loan so as to be able to pay up but your idea of taking a loan to invest in bitcoin can be seen in two ways either you are taking advantage of the current market situation to accumulate more bitcoin while you make payment with your alternative income or you  are solely depending on the bitcoin for profit so as to pay up for the loan which I term "risky" and do not forget the slogan " invest with your spare cash, invest with funds you know you can afford to loss" these are the warnings and I believe you know how the Crypto and bitcoin market is and how volatile it could be.

Save yourself the stress of borrowing to invest  only if you have a source of repayment plan to meet up with the loan.

Mate, your explanations are enough for any one who is reasonable to know how the system works. They are just ignorant and do not care to know what they do not know. You did your best explaining to them. I feel they are messed up with their own thoughts and are only acting up to cover up their ignorance. So no point you wasting your time anymore explaining to them but I believe with time they would give you accolades for your bravery. Friends do act that way though because I have had that similar experience with my friends and at the entire end they told me they only acted up so they could not get embarrassed as they already know that their argument was not substantial to hold onto.
2244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoiner still support the use of centralized exchanges? on: April 25, 2023, 11:44:24 AM
I did some research on Bitcoin because I was interested in it, and I discovered that the key principles of Bitcoin are peer-to-peer, anonymity, pseudonymity, decentralization, and operating without a middleman to ensure that Bitcoiners can have financial freedom. However, despite knowing that Bitcoiners adhere to these tenets, why do some Bitcoiners act contrary to them? Why do they continue to support centralized exchanges, use them, and retain their Bitcoin there?
I really see your points as you have said. Although it is true that bitcoin was invented for such purpose and it is in its course of fulfilling the sole reason it was invented. Come to talk of bitcoin peer to peer transaction, I believe a peer to peer transaction definitely would require two parties meeting to do transfer one on one which do not also guarantee ones safety of the account holder and it does not reflect the pseudo or anonymous transaction for which Satoshi Nakamoto clearly stated.

Although CEX are not  pseudo or anonymous and they demand for kyc before depositing with them but the peer to peer with the CEX are anonymous and ok to go with just as the DEX is.

Do not get me wrong and also do not get things twisted. The CEX have played a big role in aiding the far and wide spread of Crypto currency including bitcoin to a global scale purchase and accessibility. Without the CEX and DEX, bitcoin and other Crypto currencies would have been limited in circulation in speed compared to the initial time bitcoin came to existence.

So in all sense,  I believe someone people wants to remain anonymous through that means by dealing with CEX and DEX rather than doing a peer to peer or a one on one that would reveal their identities an possibly keep their wallets activities on track by their counterpart.
2245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do with bitcoin? on: April 25, 2023, 11:28:22 AM
Hello guys!
Today I was thinking about Bitcoin and where it will finally go up. And I came to the conclusion that I don't really understand what is the right thing to do with Bitcoin after it will "go to the moon".
So I wanted to ask you all, what are you planing to do with bitcoin when it will go to 70k, 80k etc. Are you planing to sell it or you will keep holding it?
If you will sell it, at what price are you planning to do it?

Mate, I know for sure that bitcoin will do very well and much better in the long run. So I am not bothered about it up and down movement. So far,  before now, bitcoin was at it peak last year @ $70k sobif it could reach an all time high at that price then it means it could still go or rise beyond that same price possibly after the halving or even now as no one could tell the direction which it is going towards but I am if the strong opinion that bitcoin would do much better than the last of its highest price.

As for me, I already have my plans of holding for a very long time and I had to do it in the way that I allocated my bitcoin in three functions for which they would serve and that I have sticked to for a long time now and it has helped me a lot from touching my long term holding.
2246  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Self-moderated]Bitcointalk Gambling Problem Support Group on: April 25, 2023, 11:08:23 AM
Good to see this kind of thread exist.

I want to share my recent experience as in few minutes ago when I wrote this post. I was winning on streak with slot games. I manage to increase my bankroll from 50xrp to 278xrp or equivalent to 4.5mbtc. I switch game from slot to live craps just to get a fresh air on playing slots. I want to bet slowly so I'm betting with 1$ as this is always my default currency.

I already placed my bets and bets closed until I realized that the currency is set on mbtc! I really my world is crumbling because I accidentally all in my bankroll that grow for a whole week.  Cry
Long story short. My bet lose and I decided to skip gambling indefinitely. I knew I just originally loss 50xrp bankroll but I invest a lot of time on that profit. This is a terrible terrible experience. I'm not aware that the currency that I play last time will be set on default. Lesson learned.

I had similar experience with a casino while playing a roulette game. It was a live game so I saw everything live. Although the betting pattern was quite different as  it was in mbtc though I have won a reasonable amount of mbtc so I keep playing with it to increase my winnings. My time spent on accumulating my wins all gone just within a space of time as I sensed it from the staff what they were upto but my thoughts never went there to stop and start processing for withdrawal and it was very bad what happened but I had no choice than allowing it to go just like that. I learnt my lesson and ever since then I had to do away with the casino.

Your services I must say is likely going to be frowned at here. Anyways, welcome onboard the platform. I tried loading the website " Animsec.com"  from my end but not accessible or did you put regional restrictions or just as the post says "Private Scampage with auto email grabber & Cookies" I guess that is how scams do play.

If you take time to read the policies and guidelines for operating on this platform, you would find out that spamming is not allowed onboard this platform and here you are promoting the sales of "spamming tools and Private Scampage with auto email grabber & Cookies". It is obvious your intentions are for business but I do not think it would be welcomed here.

I am sorry to tell you this that your account might likely be flagged for promoting this content if you do not take down this with immediate effect.
2248  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need 300$ Us worth of Bitcoin on: April 25, 2023, 03:24:01 AM
Hello,
i need to buy 300$ in bitcoin can pay via paypal, let me know who can help me out.

I would not have bothered but looking at your profile, I had to as you are a newbie here. Since you have been given a link here already I commend that but I will advise you to always use an escrow when dealing so as to avoid being scammed as there are scammers everywhere looking for who will fall prey to their activities. Carefully use a reputable high-rank member here as an escrow.

Lastly, I would want to know why you never bothered wanting to use the cex for fast, secured, easy and safe transaction. Atleast there are lots of cex here and an example of the is Binance .
2249  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Please, let's stop painting Nigerians bad on BTT on: April 25, 2023, 02:42:27 AM
OP i was thinking if there is a beef going on between Nigerians here on this board when i saw this headings of yours and that was what got me attracted to reading your post here and unfortunately, it was very far from my thought. It baffles me how OP keeps complaining about this issue after knowing fully well the what Nigerians are always upto.

Of lately,  i came across a post on scam accusation board  and i was looking at the  profile  and how it got here. It pisses  me off that the rift was between two Nigerians.
2250  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Woman sells her child to repay loan on: April 25, 2023, 01:29:09 AM
Mate, all is not well with some people, for the fact that you see and eat three square meal a day  does not mean others are having such privilege. Let me tell you straight, there is hunger in the land and the weather is not favorable to that point thereby calling for citizens unusual actions. It is very awful though that a woman could sell her baby just to survive. It is unfortunate that the situation of things has no immediate remedy and has forced people to take serious decisions.  This decision seems drastic and ruthless as task.
2251  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.AG SCAM!!! -1000$ on: April 24, 2023, 11:29:44 PM
Hey guys,
Just an update from our end here. After going back and forth with the player by email, with him continuing to talk in circles, we decided that it was too much trouble to continue to try and get him to complete the verification process. His account balance was returned and we obviously consider this matter to be closed now. Thank you for your interest.

It is not clear with the way and manner at which the player account was suspended. At first, something must have prompted that actions from your end before suspending the account. So therefore, it would be nice you State the reasons why the players account was suspended and the circumstances surrounding the suspension so we could know what really happened so as to stand ass a guide for others reading when ever they want to register with your casino.
2252  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin miners in Nigeria on: April 24, 2023, 04:56:31 PM
It's just the knowledge and the funds to start the mining of a thing; if not, it could have been less expensive for me to conduct.
I am lucky to come from a part of Nigeria where electricity is totally free.
It could have been a bit profitable since electricity bills will be deducted from all budget expenses. It's just your maintenance that's if any of your appliance is damaged..

Overall the major issues Nigerians face in mining bitcoin is electricity but is mining altcoin like Bch, Doge and others profitable.
Mining bitcoin can also be profitable, also mining altcoins. It depends how close you are to access constant and cheap public electricity just like I explained above. But generally, electricity supply in Nigeria is poor.

If there is anyone planning on starting a mining company, I will definitely recommend Onelga LGA in River State, Egi, precisely because that's one place I know for sure that one is not going to think of all sorts of electrical bills and government settlements.
You are correct mate, Onelga is one of the local government areas with constant power supply in Rivers state Nigeria as an oil producing community they don't have to pay for the constant electricity they receive. I have been their countless time and it's a plus for anyone planning of where to settle a mining farm.

Another place still in Rivers state of Nigeria that enjoys uninterrupted constant power supply is Bonny LGA, also an oil and gas producing LGA, recently they celebrate decade of uninterrupted power supply in their communities , all unpaid for as part of what they benefit as host community to the oil exploration companies. These are sites that can be economical and profitable for potential miners in Nigeria.

You forgot to mention the Onne / Eleme part of Rivers State. They too are a local government with the presence of multinationals there. They have sea port and gas turbine is used to power their electricity as they are oil rich city based on my findings.  That axis of the state would have been preferably a hub for blockchain enthusiast most especially the miners because there they have 24 hours power supply which is favorable for miners to run their bitcoin mining farm. They do not pay electric bill just  as @lida93 has stated and that has been the normal thing going on there.
2253  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Anoda Tin Wey Dey Slow Down Bitcoin Adoption For Naija on: April 24, 2023, 04:34:04 PM
One thing wey I think say we for consider na exposure. No be everybody wey dey exposed to modern innovation and technology for we country. You see some people if you like talk to them from January to December about something wey them no fit adapt to or say them never too see people  around them dey talk about am or use am my brother no worry just forget am because you go talk tire nothing go come out and this experience na with mostly elderly people for the country wey dey exhibit that attitude just as @cryptoprenuerbrainboss talk say some of them na as a result of the experience wey them get from some Ponzi scheme in the past naim dey make Dem dey fear and lock up like this wey make them no dey give in for anything wey dey related to such financial technology except na young guy wey dey into tech or a little exposed to innovations.

I believe say bitcoin adoption no go be mata for Naija youths because me I know say Dem get sense and them know what's up about technological innovation and so therefore go quickly adapt to am but just be say no be all of them get asses to funds. Wey Dem fit take run the parol like to buy smart phone, computer and even to subscribe to network na war but I believe say with time things go stew very well.

2254  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Self-moderated]Bitcointalk Gambling Problem Support Group on: April 24, 2023, 03:56:37 PM
Discussions of this nature is what we think is needed here. Many are going through lots emotionally as a result of their engagement and possibly addiction in one way or the other looking for how and who to share their experience with but for the fact that it is related to gambling, they keep it to themselves which makes it even worst than it was.
Atleast, this topic would help to sort out most of the problems bothering gamblers and the way forward.

OP it is nice you brought this topic here but locking the previous does not seems ok but anyways you have a good idea.
2255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins, Telegram and Security on: April 24, 2023, 03:17:37 PM
So far I do not see any tangible or multivating reason or scene that would encourage me to attempt using telegram to store my coin. Telegram and cex are still the birds of the same feather. If CEX can be hacked irrespective of the security layers involved or activated to protect one's fund's and exchange as well still hackers still get there way in. CEX is better that you have some body to blame for the such scenario if such happens to your telegram account holding your assets, what would you do and who would you hold responsible for the hack.

My conclusion is this if they are willing to take such step, they can be able to come up with an identity and should stop using telegram to front their wallets project.
2256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you want bitcoin to stay? on: April 24, 2023, 03:06:32 PM
OP just as it is to fiat, so it is to bitcoin. There are lots of reasons why one would want bitcoin to stay after having the first hand experience of how it works.

You see, as it may pleases you to know, these are the few key reasons why one would prefer bitcoin to stay

1. bitcoin gives you asses to you controlling your assets yourself. It is decentralized and void of any control from any quarters of the government or individual but only you control your bitcoin yourself.

2. While holding your bitcoin under your custody, the possibility of you making profit from holding as price plummet is 100% guaranteed.

3. While holding your bitcoin, there are no third party access to your assets.

4. Bitcoin transaction fee is miniut compared to the fiat banking system where the charges are exorbitant.

5.  Bitcoin transfer take no much time to getting to the destination or receiving wallet for which the transaction was initiated for.

6. The openness and transparency is second to non.

All I have said above are from my experience I have had since I got to know about bitcoin. You can also get more information on your topic  by doing your own research and the links below could help you.

2257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What things do you study while choosing a wallet? on: April 24, 2023, 02:26:42 PM
There are a lot of cryptocurrency wallets to pay and receive payments. While you choose a wallet, what things do you consider first like technical support, transaction fees or blockchain technology and why and what is the most important thing for you? We should discuss that!

While everyone is glamouring for fees I see that as no big deal but I assume safety first because when your funds are safe that is when you can be talking about doing transaction and other activities.
Wallet security matters alot to me because that is the major reasons why the wallet was formed for self custody, easy access and protection. If your wallet is not secured you will not be convenient using such product and you will definitely opt for a third party which is even worst than the wallet itself.

Another thing I check for is the flexibility of the wallet product accross all chains. If a wallet can be able to accommodate  eighty percent of the blockchain wallets then why can I not use it. It will aid me in reducing the stress of trying to download wallets pertaining to different chains making my phone occupied with various wallets. I think just this few tips I look into because I know that of fees would be very competitive amongst the various wallets product providers as to who's transaction fee is much cheaper.
2258  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Gambling Problem Support Group on: April 24, 2023, 02:02:48 PM
This is a welcome development OP. You know people go through lots as a result of they opening up to their various families about their activities. Sometimes they have the support but sometimes they get scolded by their families.

In this case of gambling, most families are not too ok with it while some keep mute over it as it is the source of income for their living and some are open and bold about being gamblers. I once raised a topic of this nature on this same board and it was taken down but before it was removed I had a glance of replies and comments and it was touching that many people had similar experience to the topic I created and are looking forward to continuing with the thread to  getting response and possible remedy to their predicament but it was unfortunate that the thread was removed.

OP your topic is ok but I think this topic is quite alright and educative and not only that it is educative, it is result and solution oriented and I am looking forward to seeing positive impart of this thread in the lives of many here.
2259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Benefits of Bitcoins recent price drop on: April 24, 2023, 12:44:23 PM
The True benefit is when the bitcoin price drop you can buy more you can accumulate more.  Grin

and another benefit is training your patience or your emotion. If you hodler or trader you can still made a profit even tho the price is drop or at the bear market like this. and of course the benefit that your mention before is also included

You are absolutely right mate. You see market down us actually the right time to bah more for those who have eyes on bitcoin to purchase more. When the market is down, some holders who bought high would be in a panic to sell their bitcoin so as not to make loss and this are mostly done by new bies who have no idea how the system works and they buy with the mindset of holding for a short time to making profit and when such scenario occurs they become distabilised and quickly sell without having the thought of holding for a long time.

Lastly as you have stated, this scenario of  bear market   shows how patient some investors and holders could be. When the market is down, it is expected that as an investor holding for a long time, you should be able to hold your bitcoin without allowing the market conditions to force you in doing otherwise.
2260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Benefits of Bitcoins recent price drop on: April 24, 2023, 10:41:12 AM
Impatient holders sell their Bitcoin hodlings to others who understands Bitcoin better.
It is known that panic selling causes alot of price decline in the  Crypto market and this is mostly caused by newbies who have no idea how the market trends works so in that case when they notice a sudden change in price, with the fear of loosing out from their investment, they are quick to press the sell botton when this happens, it gives room for more holders and also for people to bag more at that instance.

It will help those that have long wanted to join the Bitcoin ecosystem quite encouraged to purchase Bitcoin
It is known as well that when the market is down that is the suitable and most preferably the best time to purchase more of the bitcoin. This moment gives many holders the opportunity to bag more bitcoin to their already existing holding and also those onboarded will have the opportunity to also purchase in fractions as they can and hold as their plans are.  At this point, it will be a kind of the lesser the price the higher the volume and the demand for it would increase thereby attracting more holders and increasing the purchasing power.

It will help capable hodlers  reduce Bitcoin spending to in turn help increase demand and value

When the price is actually down, real holders would be encouraged to hold more of bitcoin so they could have more profits rather than being quick to sell off. When there are no much sells as a result of holding, the price picks up causing more demand for bitcoin.
