2241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: March 18, 2020, 11:20:03 PM
I thought I read somewhere that Eddie Hearn was looking to pay Wilder some step aside money so that Fury and Joshua could get the undisputed fight?

In any case, Wilder will probably retire once Fury beats him for a third time. He's already getting old and he's not going to be able to keep up with the younger generation of technical fighters that are coming up. Look at Filip Hergovic, Daniel Dubois and Efe Ajagba, they're all strong contenders.

Deontay Wilder has had too many injuries recently, he's like David Haye now.

As such, he'll get beaten by any fresh, technical boxer in the top 20 probs.

Congratulations to Pkp7 for a series of incredible dice wins today.

🤑 Keep it up bro 🤑
2243  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: WALAHALA HARDWARE WALLET on: March 18, 2020, 07:39:46 PM
$145 does seem quite expensive to me, especially for a company that is trying to penetrate the market. Also, the design is extremely unattractive and there are no pictures of the actual product on the website, just renders.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrsRsBG6bQY

Based on this video, you have been selling this wallet for at least two months. However, I can't find a single picture of this wallet anywhere.

Would you mind uploading a brief video or a few pictures showing that the wallet actually exists?\

BUYERS BEWARE FOR NOW
2244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did this guy just find the founder of Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2020, 05:30:10 PM
Wikipedia pages can be edited by anybody,

A lot of people create Wikipedia pages about themselves just to appear to be more important than they actually are.

Due to the fame that comes with Satoshi Nakamoto, it wouldn't be unusual to see somebody looking to co-opt his identity to inherit some of his fame.

After all, just look at Craig S. Wright.

Could you please provide links to any resources that discuss your house edge for each game?

As far as I can see lottery has zero house edge, what about your other games?

Thanks
2246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tyler Winklevoss: BTC is not a hedge to pandemics on: March 17, 2020, 11:25:40 PM
I don't think Bitcoin is at the point in its lifecycle where it can be considered a hedge against anything.

Right now, Bitcoin is still reliant on the internet. If that goes down, so too does Bitcoin.

Until we can get starlink going or some other network based satellite system, Bitcoin isn't completely safe, and will likely collapse when traditional markets do.

We need something that will enable Bitcoin to thrive even without internet or strong access to electricity. Offline wallets will only get us so far since they are unwieldy.
2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: March 17, 2020, 10:31:58 PM
If you're at a physical casino at this time, then it's quite clear that you're obviously mentally unstable and/or willing to take COVID19.

As such, I wouldn't be surprised if such an individual wouldn't just do all of the above for some fun.

Here's a real tip though for brick and mortar casinos—get friendly with the dealers. Whenever there is a dispute, there is a higher chance they will side with you that way.

That doesn't necessary mean giving them tips, but just treat them like an individual and acknowledge them, you might be surprised how boring their job is.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: March 17, 2020, 07:27:27 PM
UPDATE: "Anthony Joshua’s world title fight with Kubrat Pulev could be delayed"

https://www.borehamwoodtimes.co.uk/sport/national/18312075.anthony-joshuas-world-title-fight-kubrat-pulev-delayed/:

"Promoter Eddie Hearn has admitted Anthony Joshua’s next world heavyweight title defence against Kubrat Pulev could be pushed back a month to July."

I think July is being optimistic.

A huge number of different events are going to get cancelled and competition for venue space when things die down is going to be intense.

That said, the boxing event is likely able to pay more than most other events, so it's still possible.

Gives Anthony Joshua an even better chance anyway, since Pulev will be another month older.
2249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are your safe haven now? on: March 17, 2020, 04:32:47 PM
I'm around 95% in USD Coin (USDC) and True USD (TUSD) right now.

I still don't trust Tether (USDT) after it was proven to be operating a fractional reserve. Nonetheless, Tether still seems to be the strongest stablecoin in terms of maintaining its dollar peg.

Right now tether is down 1%, while most other stablecoins are down around 2%.

Excellent opportunity to grab some guaranteed profits by buying stablecoins right now.
2250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Corona Virus was predicted but it will soon vanish on: March 16, 2020, 11:34:38 PM
I would bet serious money that many countries will still be facing the COVID19 pandemic for probably the rest of this year—certainly for the next six months or so.

China's quarantines aren't going to keep COVID19 down for that long, especially when they reopen the borders and foreign infections start coming back in.

This is a bad time for the virus to come as well, since the market was already on the brink of collapse.

Time will tell how humanity recovers from its most pressing challenge in more than a decade.
2251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I restart a dead altcoin and continue the development?? on: March 16, 2020, 10:21:51 PM
Honestly, I don't think I have ever seen a cryptocurrency come back from the dead, at least not from completely dead like you appear to be referring to.

Ethereum Classic (ETC) recently experienced a revival of sorts after pumping a bunch of money into the project, but I'm not sure you've got the kind of capital necessary to do something like that.

I'd personally just make a post in the project development section and ask people if they're looking to sell or hand over their project. If you've got the right team, funds and skills, then nothing is impossible.

But I'd imagine starting with a dead coin is actually even more difficult than starting with something completely new.
2252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play gambling that require skills and techniques. on: March 16, 2020, 09:18:03 PM
OP is an absolute moron.

The bulk of those games are complete luck. If the game is based on a random probability of you winning, then no strategies or techniques will improve your odds.

Instead, you'll need to go for P2P games that have a skill element, such as Poker or Chess. There's even platforms that let you play online pool and wager on who will win.

If you don't have the skills, stick to luck based games, or you'll just get rekt by the pros.

What do you dislike about Purse? I was planning on using it for a few large purchases soon...
<snip>

Sounds like an absolute shitshow, you have thoroughly convinced me not to bother trying my luck at Purse.io

I was already having second thoughts because I didn't want to be exposed to BTC volatility for any amount of time, but this just solidifies it.

Right now I personally purchase Amazon gift cards directly from Bitrefill. If you use the lightning network you can get a 2% discount, which is not great but it's something.
2254  Economy / Services / Re: Need Amazon Purchasing Service. on: March 14, 2020, 07:51:58 PM
I'd also recommend purse.io, 15% discount and you will recieve your order in 4-6 days (or choose a bigger discount if you don't mind waiting). Much safer and it will get the job done instantly.

https://purse.io/ is designed for this purpose. You can get up to 30% discount I think, depends how long you're willing to wait for the order to be filled.

Anything more than 30% discount and you're just asking to have your orders filled with fraudulently obtained giftcards.

Thank you both for trying to help. I am actually well aware of Purse.io, I have in fact used it so many times and I still use it here and there, but there are a few things which I dislike about purse.io and that's the reason why I want someone/something else to provide me this service, I am not looking for 30% or any insane discounts by the way.

I feel like the portfolio is missing content. The design you have added is simple.

He is charging $3/page, what do you expect, some sort of masterpiece?

2257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 13, 2020, 11:43:59 PM
Realistically, nearly all of this requires a significant amount of willpower to implement.

Sometimes an addiction doesn't need to be cured, because the damage is either minimal or trivial, whereas other times it does need intervention but the person lacks the willpower/resources to do so.

I recommend that anybody who has suffered serious financial detriment because they are unable to control themselves should implement time locks on their funds.

Time locks, remove access to your funds (hand it over to a trusted third-party) and develop coping strategies for when your urges begin to kick in.

Looks like gamblingbad is getting a lot of attention lately,

One of his bets was even highlighted on the Crypto-games Twitter account;

Definitely curious what the current situation is with him
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What To Do? (For People Who Mostly Gamble on NBA Games) on: March 13, 2020, 09:48:06 PM
These events will likely only be canceled for around a month, so you can just look for alternatives.

I've heard that most boxing events will still be going on, as will MMA.

They both present some lucrative betting opportunities. Or you can take the time to learn statistical analysis or poker hands or something, move into a different game once you're up to speed.
2260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: March 13, 2020, 08:37:48 PM

With so many events cancelled and suspended like the NBA, PBA in the Philippines, i think this fight might be move to a later date if ever there is no success in combating this COVID-19.

World title fights also in jeopardy due to COVID-19 threat

Measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) are threatening to postpone two world title fights featuring world champions Jerwin Ancajas and John Riel Casimero.

https://sports.mb.com.ph/2020/03/13/boxing-world-title-fights-also-in-jeopardy-due-to-covid-19-threat/

Looks like most promoters, broadcasters and venues are looking into measures to somehow stage the fights even if people aren't allowed to attend large gatherings anymore.

Dana White from the UFC said that they'll just hold their fights in smaller venues that stay within the legal limit, but will go ahead with major UFC fights like Khabib vs Ferguson.

I think they're going to end up implementing the same policy for boxing, but I imagine the absolute biggest fights will end up being moved back until later in the year.
