2241  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: March 17, 2022, 09:24:05 PM
If anyone is a good gambler and is not involved in anything shady, duelbits or any good casino will never block their account if their IP is changed often by logging in from mobile, computer or through VPN. Sometimes if your VPN location is that of the prohibited location, they may ask for the KYC. If you have no bad intentions, it is assured that your account and funds will be save at the site.
Yes, if there's no intention of cheating or exploiting and you're still following the rules. There's no need to be worried of, most casinos are too strict when it comes to this matter.
But if they don't see anything wrong or any suspicious activities under your account, there's nothing to worry about and if they ask you some questions regarding that, you just have to answer what you're up to.

If you frequently use vpn, you should be ready to submit your KYC if asked by the site. Some people do not want to submit KYC and when inquired about the kyc, they refuse to tell anything which may result in account suspension.

Duelbits has a lot of promotion if you will go to there promotion page. This 5$ is exclusive for long time offline player to attract them to go back playing in the casino. Actual other casino offer this kind of promotion but in different way like free bet and free spin which I saw on fortunejack and sportsbet promotion email. You can check out too the Ace loyalty rewards because they are giving instant bonus base on the amount that you wager in the casino
I have also seen casinos having this strategy to retain their inactive customers as when you give them free opportunity to play once the interest come back and then you also wager some amount from yourself. This $5 free bonus to the players is also good approach from the duelbits team.

Not only this, but also you can use a promo mentioned here (https://twitter.com/Duelbits/status/1504228933595713538) to claim free 1$. This is a granted gift for everyone who uses this promo code.

.
because, the owner **does not care anymore**,

Unfortunately, I have a very similar impression. Lightlord just doesn't care about the Bitcointalk community at all. It is very possible that health problems are just an excuse not to explain why he do not care at all about what users think.
The worst thing would be if he do not refill the hot wallet at all, but it refill somehow automatically only when someone loses.

I’m glad I came to this thread before I made a deposit.  I was thinking about going to play some plinko.  It was just a few years ago that bitvest was known as one of the most trusted crypto casinos.  I’m sorry people are having withdrawal issues but I’m also glad I didn’t get caught up in it.

Well, that a good thing for you that you read all these details before depositing your money in bitvest. However i would also suggest you do not put this casino in your ignore list and keep following this thread.
I am sure that sooner or later light lord will come and resume both casino as they were running seamlessly before the covid. There are some unforeseen health issues with the lightlord and unfortunately he is unable to give time to his casinos.

Reputation is not built in a day. It takes months and years of hard honest work to develop a good repute but all hard work can be let down by a single bad incident. I fear that when lightlord might return to his gambling sites, many of the old users have already left the platform and new users who are not having a good experience won't be there too. So it may take lightlord to rebuilt the reputation for the casino from scratch.

that's one of the possibilities that may happen here. keeping your patrons is hard. but looking at their bankroll, it is still about 230BTC, which is not bad compared to other new casinos here. it means, there are still gamblers who are still loyal to this site, and maybe they have no prob even without LL's presence. so long they are getting their withdrawals and no issues on the site. we can't say LL doesn't care anymore as we don't know the real situation here.
if you are not happy the way they are doing business here, you have your own privilege to find another.

230 BTC in the bankroll of bitvest.io is not a small thing. Most new companies dream to get this much bankroll. Bitvest would not lose its name unless this 230 bitcoin is used up and there is no refill. Seeing the history, i am sure light lord will refill the wallet before it is exhausted.
I think we should assume positive things will happen and avoid the negativity which is creeping up in our minds.
2243  Economy / Gambling / Re: WOWCasino.com | WOW Crypto Casino Official Thread on: March 16, 2022, 05:26:16 PM
What we eed to know first is about how and why wowcasino choose or maybe cooperate with CSNO?
Didn't they aware that CSNO is not a credible gambling community?
If they aware about it, means that they realized about its credibility but they dont care about it as long as it may make the casino looks good.
In this case, for sure wowcasino cant be trusted at all but if they did not aware about it then there is still chance for them to prove that they are indeed a good casino.
no offense to them but I wouldn't be surprised if they paid CSNO to get the award. it is my first time hearing about CSNO and based on what fatfork found out they are also a shady organization and should not be trusted(including the awards they give).

Not only CSNO but i am wondering how come they get the gaming-curacao.com ? Didn't gaming-curacao checked their team and site content ?What irresponsible behavior indeed  Huh

2244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in METAVERSE on: March 14, 2022, 06:16:20 PM
Anything in Metaverse could be interesting especially for the gamers and other people who loves to conquer virtual world, but not everyone are comfortable gambling in metaverse (where it's most likely to have more complicated controls other than just gambling from a regular online gambling website), some gamblers may not be interested it it.
However, this is still going to be a huge innovation for the development in virtual interaction.

Metaverse gambling would be like a real world gambling where we can play with other gamblers virtually face to face. This can be thought of as playing gambling in a physical casino but not leaving the comfort of your home.
Everyone can have their own imagination and definition of Metaverse gambling. True metaverse is yet to be implemented.
2245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 14, 2022, 05:56:39 PM
Maybe he thinks that holding a lot of Bitcoin forever will save him and help him become more famous. A whales like Elon Musk can really play the market without worrying to lose their money, perhaps, they can afford it. However, whatever he does with his Bitcoin, people are not interested to know it, actually, we don't care. But believe me or not, Elon Musk is a wise person, he could trick us. he can pretend that he is holding till now, in fact, we don't know the truth.

Believe me, when Elon Musk first put bitcoin on his Twitter profile, bitcoin pumped 8000$ in a single day. If he had kept that slogan there and supported bitcoin only, people would have worshipped him. But he took the wrong path, get rid of bitcoin, and started promoting Dogecoin.
2246  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: March 14, 2022, 12:45:17 PM
Yes I think this is one of the profitable casinos you can stake with but I would like to disagree with @Coin_trader about the OWL token price being very stable. According to the PancakeSwap (USDT/OWL) the price of the Owl tokens this month goes down by -14% so I think the token is volatile but that doesn't mean that it will not be profitable in long term especially that the Owl.games is still new and I'm sure that the price of the Owl in the future will increase along with the development and progress of their gambling site.

No altcoin prices can be stable, otherwise, they would have become stable coins  Smiley. Jokes aside, OWL token is very new and is only traded on pancakeswap. The gambling site Owl.games is not going anywhere and with increasing popularity of Owl.games, we can see big rise in Owl token price. I would suggest either you can buy OWL token or stake it both for long term. This is not for short term trading but for a mid to long term investment.
2247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 14, 2022, 06:46:13 AM
Elon Musk won't sell his bitcoins, he tweeted this and we see no big movement in the market. There was a time when his tweets had big effects on the market. This guy is losing his value by promoting Dogecoin.

Is deposit bonus something attractive to you guys? Are you taking deposit bonus with high wagering requirement and most of the time players lose their deposit and bonus while trying to complete the wagering requirement? Imo, deposit bonus is not an attractive promotion. It can be seen in most casinos especially fiat based casino.

Gambling casinos make every promotion to attract customers and they do not care if the gamblers actually gain money from them.

If you think from the casino point of view, deposit bonus have lot of attraction, as people will, again and again, be willing to deposit because they know that they will get some bonus which they won't get elsewhere. Also, gamblers are usually risk-takers and they think they will win and complete the wagering requirements easily.
However eventually most of the gamblers will lose while meeting the wagering requirements and all money including bonus will never reach the hands of gamblers.

2250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is A Better Option Than Fiat Money? on: March 14, 2022, 04:20:04 AM
I think so, bitcoin is better than fiat money because with bitcoin we don't depend on anyone including the central bank and the most important thing is the presence of bitcoin can reduce inflation because the value of bitcoin will continue to rise, this is what makes me not hesitate to invest and hold for long term my bitcoin.

We have seen in the recent war situation that Russian Ruble has gone done considerably and we never know how much more downside can we see in this currency. People are selling this currency and buying bitcoin which shows that bitcoin is the best investment. Bitcoin will not lose its value in situations like war etc because it is not a specific region currency but a global blockchain currency.
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 13, 2022, 03:00:09 PM

The match wasn't competitive as Australian women won it by a big margin. 141 runs to be exact. Aussie Women's team hasn't lost a single match yet and looks like the strong team of the tournament. South Africa is another team that hasn't lost a match either but they have played 2 matches only as compared to the Australians who have played three matches.
The tournament is in its early stages and one of the favorite England teams has started off badly and won no matches till now.

Australian women team are no doubt favorite for the title. SA has played 2 matches against Bangladesh and Pakistan, they are yet to play women big 3 aka Australia, New Zealand and England. Westindies have won 2 matches against England and New Zealand. Its very interesting in a sense that small teams are performing good against England and New Zealand.

Apart from the Australian women's team, it's hard to say who will be the next three teams to qualify for the semi finals. England and New Zealand did not start the tournament well, but they have the tendency to catch up later in the tournament. WI, India, and SA are equally good to give tough times to big teams. This time there are no clear favorites except the Australian team.
2252  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DUELBITS.COM STOLE 545$ FROM ME PROOF on: March 13, 2022, 01:57:59 PM
If your story is really true, I can imagine it's very unfortunate what happened. I don't think Duelbits are to blame. If the situation really were, then you should just stop placing bets and settle it right away with Dueblbits. No one is telling you that you have to place bets, you do that all by yourself. You chose to gamble yourself, you could also have chosen to post this story on the forum without continuing to gamble.

He wanted to withdraw without making a bet. I would like to know why? If he did not want to bet, there is no point depositing the money in the casino. Casino has certain rules which everyone needs to follow. You cannot use casinos for money laundering purposes.  Cool
If he had won the bet, he would have been allowed to withdraw and he would have never complained.  Smiley
He is frustrated because he has lost the bet.

2253  Economy / Gambling / Re: SandboxCasino.io サンドボックス It's Simple: Fun and Fair. on: March 13, 2022, 09:01:58 AM
I think the users here are thinking of something to do with the NFT, as I know one of or more gambling site from Bitcointalk forum already implemented their own NFT and as an investor of the NFT you are able to use that NFT to earn on their website so it is more like an investment. I think some of the users here just wanted to know what's with that NFT for and wanted to suggest something about it. I think for now they only give use NFT as a giveaway but I hope they would also consider some of the users suggestion since I think that was a good idea too.

Of course people here would want their NFT rewards to be worth something, otherwise what's the point of playing in the platform for the NFT rewards if other platforms are way better when it comes to almost everything, not to mention that they already have a name that people recognize? I think the NFT rewards are a good way to attract players only if the NFTs they give out are actually worth something. As of late, the NFT market isn't doing any good, and I don't know what other benefits will gamblers gain from using the platform aside from the NFT that still has questionable value right now.

The point is that NFT does not have any worth or value if there are no buyers to buy that particular NFT. I would not prefer any reward which is given in the form of NFTs. Also when many people will get free NFT they will try to sell it cheap so their NFT gets sold first and therefore it will decrease the overall value of NFTs.
Also, you are right, NFT trends in the bull market and not many people are interested in NFTs in bear or sideways markets.
2254  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 13, 2022, 08:40:37 AM
Putin doesn't care about all of those. Even there are threats, sanctions, and rewards for him to be taken, he doesn't care. He's the kind of leader that will push whatever he liked. From what I've read at first when the war has started, everyone is saying that you should start to learn about their history.
But even if we understand their history, we don't like the attacks and we condemn the invasion because no one wants to be in a war, and no one wants to be a casualty during a war.

Yes. These things aren't important to Putin. The west doesn't understand Putin's Ukraine obsession. He is after the land, he is after the wealth, he is after power. He sees it as a soviet-era trend. There is a return to Soviet-era thinking, and it is about territory, wealth and power. Putin is at the center of the story, and this small group of people around him. They are basically the last remnant of Soviet elites. People like these sincerely believe that the West is hostile, who sincerely believe that the West denies Russia its rightful place in the world.

Can sanctions and boycotts stop Putin and end Russia's war in Ukraine? I would say that is unlikely. Just think about the Olympic boycott of Russia. That was a symbolic gesture, even though there was a weak economic impact. But don't forget that it is a huge signal. It may not be enough to win over Putin, but in terms of Russia's international reputation it played an important role.

This doesn't mean that sanctions will be the only way to resolve the crisis. But it is a powerful symbolic signal, and Russians can't ignore it. In the event that Putin leaves the scene, the sanctions and boycotts will disappear. That's my way of thinking.

It is very unlikely that Putin will leave the scene. He will lead the Russian till his death.
My question is more reasonable if this war between Ukraine and Russia comes to an end, will the sanctions on Russia be lifted? Even with Putin in power, will bodies like Olympic and FIFA allow Russians to participate?
I don't hear or know any gambling platform that puts sanctions on Russians. Is there any?
2255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Odd Job Would Have Put Thousands of Dollars in BTC in My Wallet on: March 13, 2022, 06:54:54 AM
So I was contacted by a client for a writing job. The pay they proposed was just too good and I was happy and poised to earn thousands of dollars in bitcoins once again. I was eager to take on the content creation job, but alas it was not to be.
The hiring fellow, who I met on Reddit wanted me to create "fake news articles for some crypto projects". I was like ""what?". Yeah, I heard well...create fake news and make them look real enough for some crypto projects and earn thousands of USD in BTC. I told him that's not ethical and people would lose money. He said no, that folks will rather make money. That's how I let a lot of money slip through my fingers. This conscience of mine. I'm sure someone somewhere has taken the job.
I'm sure some folks somewhere will lose their money as a result.

I do not understand one thing is that by creating fake news articles how will it impact the popularity of the project? You need to publish those articles on popular crypto news sites in order for them to have any effect?
Anyways I like your honesty that you did not fall for the greed of money and did not accept unethical work. I hope you will get better legit work with even more payments.
2256  Economy / Gambling / Re: WOWCasino.com | The #1 Crypto Casino on: March 13, 2022, 05:07:37 AM
Please let us know what type of promotions you enjoy and we can look to add in the future. Your ideas are important to us
How about giving a deposit bonus every time we deposit or a weekly deposit bonus sounds good. If they want to get more bonuses, you can use a fixed deposit so once they deposit the requirement, they will get the bonus. The bonus can be free spins, double the deposit amount, getting credit to place a bet, etc.

Oh, by the way, maybe you can add a chatbox on the right side of the dashboard. That will look interesting because we can chat with others. Also, the other suggestion is to please give a scroll button on the right side that can easily scroll down on the page.

A deposit bonus can be a good way to make people deposit in the casino and play. Usually, the casino gives only one-time deposit bonus but if they can make it on every deposit (with a certain deposit limit), it will be a good marketing idea.

Secondly, as with all other casinos, they need to start a long term signature campaign on this forum. All the successful gambling sites have signature campaigns here and they can't avoid it if they want to become famous.
2257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When and how did you discover Bitcoin? on: March 12, 2022, 05:58:04 PM
It's the year 2016 and most of my friends know about bitcoin itself and I just ignore it because I'm just a student at that time there's no budget after my curiosity how the get some money i tried to make research and then try to read and also I come up with this forum I didn't create an account just to read some things related to the things i need to my knowledge after than i tried to keep my self on track because its an investment and there's a chance might help me financially.

I also come to know about bitcoin in 2015/16 but sadly did not invest in bitcoin at that time when bitcoin was so much cheap. I remember it was under 300$ and from there i saw it going to 19800$ in matter of an year or so. I would call it my biggest regret of not making good investment in bitcoin at that time even though i had money for investment. Anyways, no one can change the past now.  Sad

Could this truly be Satoshi's wallet?

This cannot be determined whether it is a satoshi wallet or any other big whale wallet. What spurries me that who ever is behind that wallet did not move the funds when bitcoin was 20,000$ in 2017, didn't move when bitcoin was twice over 60,000$ , so what the point in moving the coins when bitcoin is under 40,000$ ?

The details can be found here

2259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price of BTC dropping? on: March 11, 2022, 11:40:38 AM
snip
There was a predicted bear market around this time and a price correction, so it's not really unexpected, but the reason why BTC price is dropping is that a myriad of reasons can't cust be boiled down to a couple. The economy is a complex thing and BTC is not immune to any of them. Sure, some things have more impact than others, but everything adds up in the end.
People who don't understand economics will find it difficult to understand what's going on in the market and make the price of BTC go down.  bitcoin is a very volatile asset, it is not possible to stay at a high price forever, this happens because the market has high buy-sell transactions.

Those who are concerned about the bitcoin price drop are the ones who will most likely sell in panic. They fail to look at the bigger picture. In the long run, the bitcoin will make new all time highs but in order to get advantage of that, it is very important that we do not get dis-hearten by the small dumps in bitcoin. The dump can lost for 3 month,, 6 months or even more so that weak hands are shaken out of the market. Only the strong hands will earn maximum benefit.

There is no need to open another channel for donations when the official one already exists. One authentic channel for donation is enough in my opinion.
