2241  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lucky shot on 999dice on: July 05, 2015, 03:17:40 PM
Upon seeing this post on 999 dice, I just thought of what occurs on me:
Once upon a time, they have a faucet which gives 200 satoshi per 10 minutes, and their minimum withdrawal amount was 20000 satoshi (minus 10000 as fees). I've started with that amount, and by luck and strategy, I've made that amount to 19,xxx satoshis, just few hundred to withdraw. However they then make my rolls to lose consecutively, and making my accumulated 19,xxx satoshis turned out to be zero! So that's all about luck, or maybe they're a scam (?).

it was already proven some time ago that 999dice isnt fair, wont dig up for the thread but yeah, its basically a scam.
2242  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have a +EV method for a dice site,[CONFIRMED +EV is possible] on: July 05, 2015, 10:43:40 AM

Nope. Vulnerabilities were patched. There is no reason to take site down.

the last time you said that people were happily making 6500x and 1094x bets right after you said "ok guys its all ok i did programming but not math." i 100% doubt anything was fixed.

Yeah sure. Investors are safe. What you think -> I don't care.

good to know your community is so "friendly" and "happy" with a stellar example such as yourself. your site was predicted to be a scam the last time you scammed some people, now im just waiting for dogedigital's video to get uploaded and to see what he says on it.

Yeah you are wrong on this. Payout 4960x currently gives you more than payout 4800x. But odds are the same.

Second thing is, I don't care if you don't play on our site really. We don't need players like you on our site for sure. We are friendly community

real friendly.

Those who invest on our site support and trust us.

they shouldnt. the fact that you refuse to take down a site with clearly exploitable vulnerabilities shows how much of a joke you are. all I see from this is "meh whatever fuck my investors right im just too lazy to do math or take down a site for a day and do some real work."

Yes thanks a lot. You will get your reward tomorrow, don't worry.

where did this go i wonder  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
2245  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have a +EV method for a dice site,[CONFIRMED +EV is possible] on: July 05, 2015, 10:13:02 AM
Yeah true. I was bad math student. And I can be arrogant too. The reason for this is because everyone knows everything. Isn't that funny? If you would know how much time we spent on site development... I know it's not top site, and we have very limited budget and time. But we still try our best. Design sucks, yeah. But our priorities are security, speed, functionality.

About this +EV issue. It is wider than I thought. Our first step was to protect investors from abusers of this bug. So we changed chances for payouts.
Second step will be some larger changes to our client side interface, so they won't be able to select non profitable Payouts.
This will be done next week. Until then site won't be closed as it was running with this bug for 1 year now and nobody complained about it, and some probably profited a lot. Won't even calculate.

Have fun till then.

the fact that players can exceed the bet parameters (ie, we could bet up to 6666x when the client gave a limit of 6500x) should be considered a security issue; might not seem like much but im thinking that your site has a myriad of other bugs or potential vulnerabilities.

it was running with this bug for 1 year now and nobody complained about it, and some probably profited a lot. Won't even calculate.

Have fun till then.

nobody complained because they were either idiots or taking advantage of it. the fact that you wont calculate it shows your lack of competence; why would you not bother to calculate how much was potentially loss due to your incompetence as a programmer? because you dont like math? thats outright ridiculous; if youre a programmer and youre admitting to disregarding the (rather simple) math behind your own mistakes youre a joke of a programmer.

quickseller's -ve feedback on you was rightly put in my opinion; why should anyone trust a site made by someone as incompetent as you? you couldnt even see your own blunder after a whole year when i saw it in a second.

looking through from the thread on a previous scam accusation on you two, it seems you both have the vocabulary and temper of 10 year olds.

Us is the whole community. Retard.
It there's no funds on it how can a site run and, how can we promote it, dumb fuck. Think, abviously you can't.
You're barking now, but back then you didn't even ask for access to vps. So you didn't want to connect on it. Taken was whole funds on wallet. IP can't be seen, because it cloudflare - all ips are from cloudflare. If you know how it's working, you wouldn't ask dumb questins and playing smart.
You're swearing and assulting, who will listen to you, retard moron? You have some seriously detective skills, like you prove it couple of days ago. So use them, idiot.
So, where's your advertising? What was with this code you send me? Claiming it CoinDice 3.3., then 2 days later, you change the story again?
Lying so much that you don't even know what you're saying.

Nice very nice the whole thing you wrote sounds like written by dumb little teenager who has no idea how things work. Let me ask again whats your and joters full name? Come meet me man vs man you little sissy boy Ill put you in your place.  All you do is bark like a dog alk day and night.

Give back my coins in 24hours or close down crypto-games.net the biggest scam site you run and steal other peoples coins too. Remeber your site is already blacklisted from dogecoin community.

wow would you look at that. from over half a year ago.
2246  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have a +EV method for a dice site,[CONFIRMED +EV is possible] on: July 05, 2015, 10:05:02 AM
Overall, I think that some people are just idiots.

It will be either idiots or curious because some people know nothing about this stuff. For them, this is a wonderful thing while in fact if you know this stuff, this is a rounding issue that is happening on specific high multiplier ( most people use x2 so yeah they couldnt notice such thing )

most people here dont know the difference between +EV and "magical 100% winrate dump PD's bankroll in 10 seconds method," im more inclined to think idiots.
2247  Economy / Digital goods / Re: What VPN is good / fast enough for streaming video? (without buffering) on: July 05, 2015, 05:51:54 AM
what country VPN are you looking for? Streaming what type of video (480p,720p,1080p,etc). Also how fast roughly is your internet speed.

this is a big factor regardless of what VPN you use; im able to use cyberghost and stream 720p with a few pauses here and there, my internet connection is fairly good.

Thanks for your reply SubStrata. Have you used cyberghost to watch video on DirecTV?  Does it work without much buffering?  That is the primary place I want to watch video.  Thanks.

usually to stream stuff of popcorn time, i can usually watch without any interruptions, and in the case the video needs to buffer, i just it sit for a minute while I get water or something. cant say for DirecTV though.
2248  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Fiat out of HitBTC on: July 05, 2015, 05:28:50 AM
I'd like to cash out some coins and would like to sell them on HitBTC

Is it true it's nearly impossible to withdraw in fiat? I've read several posts about them and this seems to be the case for everyone:

They ran into banking problems and it became impossible to withdraw fiat (Euro in my case). They will then make you jump through some ridiculous "verification" loops and in the end tell you that it is impossible to withdraw fiat for some new (made up) AML regulations. But they will suggest you buy some crypto and withdraw that. and voila: you are on the high bid-side yourself.

They 'unverify' your account and say you should just buy crypto (at a huge loss). Right now I'm waiting for my account to be verified but is taking forever, I've tried contacting them on here, through e-mail, the ticket system, and even through Facebook but I haven't heard anything back as of yet

Basically I'm just wondering, are they legit?

if these arent ringing some enormous alarm bells in your head ill do it for you; those two parts by themselves are incredibly shady, especially since theyre offering to buy your coins 12% above exchange prices. just use circle or something, the potential reward for the shadiness of that isnt worth it.

imo at a first glance, not legit.
2249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make money on bitcointalk? on: July 05, 2015, 04:42:12 AM
Unless you get to a higher rank and get accepted in better signature campaigns based on your quality, I would advice you to try this out:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1096719.0

Not bad to start with...

IMO that will be a bad start for newbies. Imagine this, you are new to bitcoin world and that captcha service is the first you will try, after 1hour you only get (max) $.8 will you still be interested in bitcoins for such hard work yet you only get few cents?

different perspective; the pay is disproportionate to the amount of effort required, but its also a faster way for newbies to get some bitcoin compared to faucets.
2250  Economy / Gambling / Re: Play Pachinko - A Rare Bitcoin Game | 1.05% house edge | Exciting Bonuses | on: July 05, 2015, 04:17:41 AM
were there any negative effects from the SPV mining since this is an on chain game?
2251  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .3 btc loan on: July 05, 2015, 04:03:39 AM
Any reason? Domains can be resold pretty quickly and after the transfer the only way to get them back is for them to expire, or to have them transferred back.

honestly it would depend on the lender and if they value a domain name or not; also a price range is sort of dissuading as opposed to a firm value on the domain. just my thoughts.
2252  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I can earn from the Signature campaign? on: July 05, 2015, 03:53:56 AM
Seriously, can we lock this thread? Everyone just keep answering this old question, and apparently the OP just have 1 post of his history on Bitcointalk.

Seriously.

It is as simple as this:

1) You apply and join the best campaign based on your status
2) You follow the rules and post via the criteria presented as rules for the campaign
3) You accept payment and do it again the next week/month

There isn't much too it.  It is such a common question maybe a sticky would cut down on these threads?
And if you lock this thread, theres some people who will open it again as a new thread because they are newbie and they want an answer with their doubt that bitcoin is true or not, maybe we should let it open to inform the newbie and also they believe that bitcoin is true.

We should make thread to explain what is signature campaign to every newbie
So, they don't have to make a thread & ask about signature campaign

Seriously, do you think it that way?
Even if mods these topics sticky, newbies will still come and repeat the same questions again and again.
Just check how many views this thread got, do you still think the same way?

because i think those aren't newbies those are old membr that are creating topic on the same arguments on purpose
to permit the rest to spam with their signature, it is so evident that, there isn't a big influx of new users
you can notice how every day puntually, there is one random newbie asking for the same thing, it must come from the same account or group of account
this is my theory about this, but i could be wrong

I thought of the same too. However i still cant get to the point that some old users will create new account just to open threads like this to ask question and attract signature spammers for they will have only risk of their accounts being banned.

i think thats going way too deep into speculation, but its a thought that has crossed my mind before; all these new accounts spamming these questions could just be alts that people use to have a topic to post on with their signature. despite being completely new accounts, the OP's of these threads rarely, respond, if ever. people creating accounts to attract signature spammers to get them banned is a bit of a stretch imo.

starting to run out of funds and offering a discount to attract more buyers i see. youve avoided the question of providing proof that youre mining for a while now, there should be 0 doubt, even from your "investors" that this is a ponzi at this point.

would definitely make for one hell of a story, but sorry to say, im not affiliated with these guys in any way. Smiley

subSTRATA, that's exactly what someone who is affiliated with these guys would say.  LOL... Here go the conspiracy theories to run rampant on this.  Anyone seeing this thread has to admit... they probably never heard of or even cared to consider playing there until now.  Just look at their "leader board" it's barely populated and mainly populated with folks ID'd in this thread.

dun dun duuuuhhhhnnnnnn!

It's all good man, I don't really think you're nefarious in this... But I could see how folks might be suspicious.

you could write a book with all the crazy conspiracy speculation that's probably going on right now Roll Eyes and unfortunately i cant say i didnt expect to see see some sort of conspiracy theory pop up. at the same time, there really isnt a sure way for me to prove that im not affiliated with them, all i can really do is say im not. it was a fun few days though.

It really was fun and got me thinking about some different angles.  I'm glad you handled it the way you did because it adds to the character of this community for one thing.  And it's good for others to learn.  Like Dooglus was saying he's had this type of issue in the forefront for a long time.  At least now, players who have read this thread can get some insight into the mechanics of the places where they bet.  It's not like it's some extremely locked down rubber-stamped mathematical formula that any dice site can duplicate.  There's a lot more to it!

i personally think theres not much more to it than just a terrible, stubborn, arrogant, and extremely stupid programmer; in something like gambling, joter85 decided to disregard the mathematical proof, and implemented a 1-to-many relationship between the win chance and the multiplier, which should always be 1-to-1.

given a good dice script (example: PD) there should never be a way for a player to obtain +EV bets, no matter what. that aside, im actually getting some pm's asking if im the real Hufflepuff from PD, i think i have a pretty good idea of what they want Roll Eyes

2258  Economy / Gambling / Re: The PrimeDice Rakeback Program! on: July 04, 2015, 05:37:18 PM
I understand the idea but I doubt someone who can afford to bet 10 BTC will be happy with 0.009 BTC referral commission.

The wagering does soon add up if you bet a lot on dice and its free money really, but yeah i still think its hard to attract sign ups due to most people are looking to gamble on dice.  Rakeback in poker seems to be popular due to being able to break even/win long term in poker.

If you play on dice a lot though you might aswell sign up for rakeback, its a no brainer.

at the same time, there's nothing stopping people from referring themselves on a separate account. even though primedice takes care of this automatically, people can just a VPN or TOR to bypass this.

i dont think many people would be willing to escrow funds for a ponzi campaign; escrowed funds would lead to people being motivated to join the campaign seeing the high pay leading to a ponzi being successfully advertised.
2260  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have a +EV method for a dice site,[CONFIRMED +EV is possible] on: July 04, 2015, 04:02:00 PM
Funniest part of all this, is that this place has more business and players now from all this attention than they would have got in a year.

I guess there is no such thing as bad press.

Maybe the bad press is deliberate and it's all a big stunt who knows really lol  Cool

On a side note, people seem to like nitpicking on each other on forums I guess it's just humans are the cruelest of animals. Company loves misery lol.

I thought this too.  Would be a brilliant scam if true.  Fake an exploit, hire a guy to expose you, rig your games.

would definitely make for one hell of a story, but sorry to say, im not affiliated with these guys in any way. Smiley
