2241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If You Could Start Over, How Would you Learn Day Trading on: February 03, 2023, 04:22:33 PM

Sometimes when people try to learn to trade, it is because money is tight and urgently needed. There is no time to actually learn some basics of it but went ahead in action. When I tried BTC, its a rush time because the bear market was over and so the people I have heard talking about were rushing to buy. The only time I read the basics is when I'm done buying already and have time to look at how all the blockchain work.

The simulator like the demo account works differently than the real account, but Binance mock trading must be useful to those who wanna try. But if I have to go back to relearn, I would just take time to learn the indicators, get used to it well and just follow the bull run cycle. No futures trading but sell during ATH and wait.
2242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Charitable Casinos on: February 03, 2023, 03:59:42 PM
State-Sponsored Casinos do charitable things like funding some addiction programs and cancer events. Most of these events are for politicians to sound good for re-election, there is always an ulterior motive when it comes to charity and foundations. Sure it does help victims if the funds are really spent to the intended.  Its stained with controversy all the time and something like this on the crypto casinos is quite new.

I just wonder if a gambler will feel good about losing knowing that despite the loss it is gain to the less privileged. Does this justify gambling?

Ohyah sure. And many of us will come back not to actually win back but to give more.  Grin
2243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption growing stronger everyday on: February 03, 2023, 02:38:08 AM
Adoption is growing slowly but surely. Many people are starting to accept the fact that cryptocurrency is part of our financial system already. There are some people who are starting to accept Bitcoin and at the same time, there are people who are starting to use Bitcoin to pay for their goods or whatever it is.

Bitcoin adoption still has a long way to, but I'm sure that there will be a time that a huge percentage of all the people worldwide will accept Bitcoin as an alternative mode of payment. There are already websites who are accepting Bitcoin and more of them will accept not only Bitcoin, but maybe other coins as well.

On the other hand, there are some who doesn't want to accept Bitcoin especially some establishments because of how volatile it is.

They realize BTC is not going away so its best to just adopt it as well, after all, they can benefit it BTC's growth also.

These establishments could come and go if they like. Someone may figure out soon that whenever the market is bullish, the business can accept BTC but if it's a bear market then cash transactions only. I have had this in mind recently I would just try to lend some BTC but only in the bull run and then lend stablecoin in the bear market.
2244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Up to what discount are you giving up for your customers? on: February 02, 2023, 04:55:36 PM

Give 10% I think will already encourage people into buying. There are stores nearby selling clothes and they are encouraging also to pay out digital cash. Digital cash isn't well adopted by the people locally yet so they are also giving about 10%. I came back the next day after installing a digital wallet just to try it.

It's one way you can give back to the community while you also benefit from BTC.
2245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - take profits or continue to DCA? on: February 02, 2023, 04:43:31 PM

We are still in the early days, it's not even 2024 yet in time for having but the price is already going up. Although there may be a correction soon, you may want to wait for it.

There may be some who are talking profits and then wait for a dip and then buy back, it takes skills to do it but doable. Continue DCA that's what many of us will say. We will see prices beating the last ATH.
2246  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank of China ex-advisor calls Beijing to reconsider crypto ban on: February 02, 2023, 04:27:58 PM

There were still lots of Chinese individuals recruiting crypto employees on LinkedIn. Despite the ban, yes Chinese are trading crypto.

This will really boost the prices of cryptocurrencies when they open the country for crypto as they did before. So far they were planning to make Hongkong a hub for blockchain developments as was stated in the news. It would be a waste to completely abandon the crypto industry when there are really good developers in the country that have started since, projects like NEO and Vechain are among the top 100.

2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: February 02, 2023, 03:31:37 PM
I never thought that this will become a large organization I just saw them in the videos in different social media and just happen in a small event only and I saw that imagine their training and resistant from slapping and one slap that's really hard can make you a knock out or else having a problem with your brain due to have a large impact of it, still for me its part of the extreme sport like the others too because its cause too much dangerous.

Such slap contests were popular in Russia about 3-4 years, specially on YouTube. I know that there are also slap contests in UK and Poland. I personally does not count this as a sport at all. You are right that this is extremely dangerous. Power Slap will close as soon one of the contestants get a brain injury, gets a serious concussion or dies from cerebral hemorrhage.

The problem with Power Slap is that there are no clear rules how strikers can slap. It is only said that they can slap with open hand basically. In Russian version of slaps, it was allowed to slap with fingers only, straight, unbended in elbow arms. And they were allowed to slap only in the cheek or chin. Otherwise you get a disqualification. In Power Slap, they mostly slap with edge of palm (dont know how it is named correctly in English, it is called "abductor digiti minimi" on pictures) to the temple. Or the reffs are suck and warn for such wrong slaps. Anyway, it is like a hook the head. A hook that it is not allowed to block or dodge. This is not sport!

MMA started this way though. Something like from the movie Fight Club until someone with the balls actually made it popular. It began outside the US also like the MMA Pride until UFC came. PowerSlap I guess as you said started in Russia, UK, and Poland.

This PowerSlap might just be considered a sport in the end, it will just need some sort of a sports organization to recognize it. It's a pattern that Dana is taking once this powerslap becomes popular and then athletes complain again about the low fees, he may look for another sport to develop.
2248  Economy / Collectibles / Re: What crypto coin/wallet/product are you most eager for? + Bonus Question below on: February 02, 2023, 02:04:40 AM
Cardano had just launched its DJED, an algorithmic stablecoin. I think that's one that had been on the news but not getting enough attention. The DJED is a stablecoin that is sort of not centralized as they claimed. DJED is ADA backed. ADA increase in price a bit but not really that notable since most of the altcoins anyway are mooning also.

2249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: February 01, 2023, 07:05:05 PM

So my question is; does those who started trading on binary faces this same issues?
And if yes how much have you lost so far?
How long do you think to learn to be perfect in trading generally both binary options and spot trading or any other trading?
This is funny. Somehow, you just got to believe it would end in a gross lose. You didn't state it that way and apparently, everyone has got to lose some amount to trading but, some could profit as well though rear. The thing is, certainly, someone is making profit on them loses.

Anyway, I don't trade binary so, I can't really comment on that but, your friend seems to have done most things right from what you've stated in OP. Having Having start his trading on a demo account and handling it good for about 2years. That's good for some experience except, there are some aspects to trading that are usually of less concern on a demo trade. That is,

- The amount of risk one gets to take
- The tension in the market
- The reality that funds could be lost for real and in your friend's case
- The fact that, his trading on a loaned capital. That's a different kind of pressure entirely.

A bold move maybe but, the teary part is always at the corner. Hope his been able or a least meeting up with settling his credit score. Perhaps his learned a lesson from his being too ambitious.

Binary trading can be a good way to make money but a binary trader might wanna start with EUR/USD because seeing the price of USD go up in this market pair, there is a chance that USD will also go up in the pair BTC/USD which is what the binary in crypto that his friend wants to try out. This could just be a theory though.

It's riskier if the funds he have was from a loan. Binary trading doesn't need that much, as a trader can bet as low as $1. You won't need to loan for this.
2250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 284: Makhachev vs. Volkanovski on: February 01, 2023, 05:59:32 PM
There is already a topic dedicated to the ufc on this board? Why do we need a new one? I guess this is allowed but I do not see the need of it but I am excited for the fight. I think Makhachev submits Volkanovski in round 2. Volk is to small to compete against the wrestling of Makhachev. It is what is best for the ufc because Volaknovski has dominated for to long and has become boring. The only competition was Max Holloway but we was beaten easily 3 times. Korean Zombie who is a legend could not beat him. Jose Aldo and Brian Ortega. Volknovski has beaten nearly every legend in his division and did it easily. I think we finally have someone to pass the torch to. My only fear is Makhachev will probably dominate the division even longer then Volkaknovski.

You're saying it's due?
It is either Volk gets slower and rustier while he fights a better fighter. Islam is going to have to fight for it and Volk will give him a good run.
There will be time for him to dominate in the division if Islam wins. He is the younger among them since in the coming years Poirier or Gaethje is on thier decline.
2251  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for paying online casinos for refer on: February 01, 2023, 05:13:13 PM
Why don't you try using an affiliate link from your signature campaign? I think it can help you to get started instead of looking for affiliates from other casino sites. Apart from that, you are also helping the casino in terms of promotion for the casino. I don't think it's necessary to look for too many casinos, and just using the casino in your profile is enough, and you can see how much you can make from that affiliate. Good luck OP.

That is if they allow your referral link. I have some experience with this in the past where I post youtube videos and the ref link is on the description. I made the video popular where I get a considerable amount of views and comments on it but only very few are signing under my link. It turns out they are aware of the referral link so they remove it.

There should be something to entice people to sign under such a link like signing under your link will give them a higher deposit bonus or something like that as an incentive or more free spins.
2252  Economy / Economics / Re: How to thrive with low income in a humble area on: February 01, 2023, 04:40:47 PM
Where I come from, the problem most of the time is that many want to impress others. Many live their lives trying to be pleasing to the eyes of other people. So they want to have branded clothes, branded shoes, branded everything. They want to have an expensive phone even if it means taking a loan to buy it.

With a low income, I'd rather live in the most practical and simplest way possible. My friends used to make fun of my keypad phone because everyone else was already using smart phones.
The main factor in destroying a person is lifestyle. so that many people are destroyed because they follow the trend while their income does not support it, so that in the end it makes it difficult for themselves because of an inappropriate lifestyle. indeed it would be better even though we are rich, but still have a simple lifestyle, so that our assets will continue to increase, and guarantee our old age life, when we are unable to work. because nowadays many people prioritize prestige rather than function of an item
I don't actually know what people get by showing off. If you are worth $10k and you pose yourself to worth $500k, you only putting yourself under pressure and also then people will only be surprised at you when you cannot live upto the expectations for people who worth $500k.
But when you are worth $2M but appear to worth $10. Everyone will be surprised when they know your actual worth

Social media makes people show what kind of people are on thier platform. It's how they show social status and I can see some friends showing those pictures they just arrived from a vacation which they visit abroad and visited a prestigious beach hotel with pictures on Facebook. It's not bad going having a vacation but if you spend more than you can afford, that would be a problem.

True. People will appreciate when you get rich, they'd be happy for you. Even if it's true, it's better to not show it to the public. Keep it to selves.
2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 284: Makhachev vs. Volkanovski on: February 01, 2023, 03:41:47 PM

Volkanov hasn't fought someone with Dagestani wrestling yet which makes this challenging for him but if he can avoid takedowns and counter it with his uppercut, Islam could lose. This situation can actually happen in this fight and Islam's best attempt is to takedown Volkanovski too.

But theoretically, when it comes to just standing on both legs Islam has a slim chance to win.
2254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 01, 2023, 03:18:50 PM

Even with gambling this will help in collecting the data of the matches played between two teams earlier and based on the outcome it'll give the suggestion. If two new teams were playing then the AI can't make better prediction. So, gambling is an exception in this scenario. Also we can't expect AI to be cent percent as that we predict in games that are really close to each other in odds and performance.

I'm ok with AI helping me in my prediction I've already said that AI is very popular in many industries to help them create and build projects within that industries, AI can analyze past and present performance to recommend future results but it should be up to you to make a final decision because in the ends there are many factors that AI overlooked, it may be perfect in some industries but not in gambling where the results are dynamic and changing.

AI will not perfect predictions. Definitely, it can overlook something it can't make a better prediction, it only be following the statistics which I think is the first that AI will look at before comparing the skills of the team members or a fighter and then searching for the bookmaker's favorite team. And as a result, it will be its pick. Not so much of a technical comparison of what players can do.

AI has to be sophisticated enough to independently choose a team beyond what bookmakers could see. Like the previous 10 fights in thier early competition before the athlete joins the pro boxing or NBA.
2255  Economy / Gambling / Re: I accidentally deposited to self-excluded stake.com account. on: January 31, 2023, 06:58:48 PM
My account was self excluded for a year, 48 weeks left. Support told me that I have to wait for 48 weeks to be able to withdraw my funds. I guess I will wait Smiley
Thanks god that everything is solved, although it is quite tragic

I don't feel like it gets solved, even if it was in the ToS of the casino I think users who are self-excluded should be able to withdraw because a self-exclude move should only block us from gambling on the site but not block us from our funds.

2 years wait will be a long wait, let's hope the ETH prize bumps high until then.

That's a sign of relief still 48 weeks can be nothing when it benefits him.
Yup hope that it's more than $1600 in 2 years but there are speculations that it might just be higher than $5K/ETH so this is sort of a storage ETH wallet for OP.

He copied a wallet addy that is going to a casino wallet when in fact he excluded himself. Not being able to spend it on the casino after depositing I guess will help him quit. Take it as a sign to really quit.  Cheesy
2256  Economy / Speculation / Re: FED seem like the most powerful manipulator overall on: January 31, 2023, 06:36:59 PM

Whether they raise or lower the interest rate, the market also is going to react to it. And before they announce something like there, there are already people who spoil it on social media about what the FED might actually do next. The FED keeps raising but what is happening in the past few weeks is the opposite of what we expected.

When the FED raises the interest rate, the entire world raises the interest rate. No leaders even told PAL to just shut up and don't announce anything at all.
2257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you consider spreading FUD to be unethical? on: January 31, 2023, 06:03:47 PM

Yes, it's unethical. The benefit of doing it I guess is worth it that's why there are article sites doing it. There are no rules that will prevent people from doing it either I guess they are not violating laws too.

But there are seasons when FUD also disappears also. It's kind of a pattern that you might wanna look at. Either Bulls or Bears, they both spread fud.
2258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are good at using the most hyped utility on: January 31, 2023, 05:52:29 PM

Weeks ago also the Fetch.ai (FET) moons way ahead of the rest of the altcoins which is most probably where they got the idea because of the ChatGPT. AIs are the most hyped these days and MS and yahoo had been reporting it every now and then since it's been throughout the articles that it will make them competitive again with google.
2259  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Web Browsers begun to have inbuilt Cryptocurrency Wallets on: January 31, 2023, 04:47:38 PM
Not safe as most privacy and security concern individuals are saying. These browsers are often used to collect your data from your personal info, and browsing habits down to your shopping lists.  What could be the worse that could happen since the browsers already are watching everything you are doing? Could they even see the private key when you create a wallet or restore wallets?

Opera isn't an opensource so no one knows what they put in thier codes.
2260  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBet Tips on: January 31, 2023, 04:14:17 PM
hello, boys and girls in this thread I will post only tips from 1xBet and show you how easy is to beat them  Wink

Just to be clear I don t recommend this book I will just post tips.
So you mean of all the legit casinos here on this forum, it's 1xbit you could see to give tips on how to beat them. Don't you know that 1xbet or 1xbit is considered as a scam casino with lots of scam accusation present on this forum? Or are you an affiliate to them, looking for who to lure, so they could confiscate fund and give you your percentage?

No, I don t like them as I point in my first post I don t recommend them.
Do you see anywhere affiliate link ?
Does it mean I can t post picks ?
I just want to show they are easy to beat.
Thats all.

Beating them means your funds may be at risk because what scam casinos do is that they freeze the account of users that kept winning and in this case, 1xbit/1xbet will have no problem doing it after all they are already branded in this forum.

You named 1xbet on the thread itself which means you are promoting them, so why Stake.com Tips or Sportsbet.io Tips?
