2241  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is on 30k how was your feelings ? on: April 14, 2023, 05:18:17 PM
i've reached a point in my bitcoin journey..

where i don't even look up the price anymore.
I know the feeling and the fact that bitcoin price isnt has volatile as it was back in the day, i believe most dont check on price as they did but of late i like to see how price is behaving to try and anticipate its future moves.

invest only what u can afford to lose is the golden rule.

follow that and let the universe do the rest.
Yep, bitcoin investors rulebook number 1 and once you go with this, price wont matter anymore.
2242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto as "payment" method adaptable for non tech-savvy people? on: April 14, 2023, 02:10:54 PM
For merchants i suppose they cant really do without the use of third-party apps as these are currently the only mediums that have simplified how to integrate and use cryprocurrencies.

For individuals, non tech savvy users will always find a stuff time to cope with the use of crypto as they need to be made aware of best security practices, and basic use of the internet and how not to fall for scams which shpuld be something someone develops for using the internet on their own.

I did think we'd get some dropouts also in ATP but I was banking on Tsitsi to capitulate early...
I thought he looked good on clay and would go all the way, but seeing the top guys crashing out so easily could be strategic as they buy time to rest as these games keep coming fast and furious.

now I have to hope he makes it past Fritz, and also Rune to not play well. Matches start over the next few hours so I might actually get some eyes on them!

Medvedev's the slight underdog though...
Afyer what i have witnessed, am hoping Sinner wins it, looks like the only best option atm.

If there is one thing I really dont like looking at it has to be the odds, 1.36 odds for Tsitsi and he played like a 5 odd lad, sad to see he crashed out at the hands of Fritz ....and thats how we all failed to pick a point in this category, Tennis Tongue
2245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 5000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: April 13, 2023, 09:38:22 PM
Boy oh boy, Uefa games are not your daily bread, here i was thinking of the two games between Manchester United and Juventus who would screw up this perfect double and my gut feeling tells me the Italians are the weakest link here and kickoff comes United prove me right atleast for the first 70 minutes or so , comeback to check the scoreline Juv has a goal and i thought am done for this round as both were winning, before you know it Sevilla are playing hard ball and United are being clumsily with their defensive duties and the Spaniards are allowed in the game with a goal of their own and I knew at this moment Utd will @#$%€ and it didnt take long and scoreline was screaming 2-2 and thats how a loosing wager turned to green...Football is so unpredictable Tongue

Hahahaha man this its really crazy (really sorry for you slissy), but SEVILLA its the REAL MADRID, of the UEL

Felt like a fixed game tbh, United losing such a lead what a joke of a performance and the Maguire guy will be back in the spot light with the fans Cry

And Tennis has been dramatic  today,  the joker gone and Zverev aashould have won that match way before alloeing this game to go into a tiebreak...i think some people dont just love winning!

2247  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay CONFISCATING 291mbtc of fair NBA winnings on: April 13, 2023, 12:23:04 PM
This is quite unfortunate especially that they have invested quite a bit in growing their reputation around the forum only to allow this to dent what they have built, sad to be honest...but there is still time to correct this Smiley

But looking at what OP has posted this doest really look lile arbitrage, especially that the player on the second time of playing had bet on several games on same league on same day  rules out arbitrage for me...Btw betting on singles is more profitable than making accumulators and this might have been the OPs strategy, nothing out of the extraordinary!

I wonder what is the definition of arbitrage betting according to coinplay  Roll Eyes

2251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 12, 2023, 01:54:27 PM
I came to know about Bitcoin as everyone here did it was from my friend. I was living as usual a life controlled by the government and its banks. I was not angry about my life, still I had the anger to be someone who can succeed.

I had somewhat good childhood but I always saw my parents struggling to get those fiat. It did saddened me as I saw my parents living a routine life and still did not enjoy it.

Now I know why they were always struggling to get the ends meet. I do not.know whether anyone here can relate to the same experience of my parents
Sorry to say buddy but one of the elements of money is to be scarce and it will always be like this.. the only difference other's seem to have it easy is by investing in themselves to be able to get paid well using their expertise in their fields.

When I understood the true potential of Bitcoin. I joined this forum as I am not someone who can spare the money required to invest for 1BTC.
Hope you are enjoying  your stay here...

So, my question is can Bitcoin give a life that I dreamt as a child. Is it possible to gain financial freedom? What exactly does financial freedom means in context of Bitcoin?

# Please ignore my typo and spelling mistake.

Thanks!
No, No, No...I think many of us have that wrong picture of bitcoin money growing  on trees and we all know this is far from the truth.
In todays world, to make money you need money things won't happen automatically,  we have to make things happen ourselves...

Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023?
Rich no, thats the price of a nice representable car but maybe in other parts of the world this could count but still i think rich isnt the world for owning 30k maýbe if one had 21 bitcoins in these said countries it could coùnt.

2252  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suggestion to improve privacy on Bitcointalk on: April 12, 2023, 12:15:28 PM
I was browsing the forum yesterday when I found this post, it struck me because he went to the extreme to check the OP’s signature address on the blockchain. I wonder what others with malicious intent could do with that information.
Lol crazy detective work but either way, one way or another someone would know if you are accepted into a signature or not if you post more regularly and still wear that sig, and making the spreadsheets hidden wouldn't solve this privacy concern.

Btw our detective didn't do his job right, OP clearly said this device was bought preowned and jumped to conclusion that the OP had spent 400 dollars on that device when in fact not.

I think it will be good if campaign managers change the application format to keep users payout addresses private so there is no link between forum usernames and addresses. I know the public spreadsheets help expose alt accounts and bounty cheaters, and for this reason some members may prefer the system stay the same but I believe making the change. I’ve seen only one campaign already doing this, what do you guys think? Should spreadsheets and payout addresses be kept private?
One element of cryptocurrencies is transparency, if we need something open it will be open, if it needs to be hidden it will be hidden.
Btw if we lean towards hiding all these transactions, in the long run, this will invite multi accounts to join such campaigns and people with the skills to analyze these transaction connections won't be able to as they don't have the access to these spreadsheets which is a no go area atm unless if campaign harbors the top guys of the forum it could be acceptable Tongue.

And that's how seed 7 was lost, ladies and gentlemen...

This is why gambling is so hard, Miami heats lost on their own turf(Kaseya Center), and most of  us Roll Eyes at least myself I expected the Heats to show up for the party and win because the numbers were in their favor, but losing to the Hawks ouch!

Guess they will battle it out for seed 8 and am hoping they lose just to get even with them Tongue

I counted 2 shots on target by Haaland, UEFA stats don't show that specific statistic. bet365 shows 2 as well so far, but I'll recheck again tomorrow - sometimes it is changed later.
I don't think it will be though - I don't recall any other shot from Haaland that could be measured as 'on target' other than the 2 he's got.

For such competitions and these extra stats, do we have anybody better than whoscored Huh

Btw these guys also had Halaad at exactly 2 shots, but if it changes hope it goes over 2.5 lol

2255  Economy / Speculation / Re: I missed the bottom or i have time to invest on: April 11, 2023, 09:06:03 PM
If you know technical analysis, market makers, and whales know it too.
I bet you trying to say that they will manipulate price based on them having this knowledge, but then again lets face it..as much as they know technical analysis and the alike that doesnt mean they trade like us the retail traders, them trading the double bottoms, the double tops etc i dont think so..these guys have an algorithmic way of trading which sometimes agrees with our retail way of trading not that they use it Roll Eyes

But i suppose the market  makers can get naughty  sometimes just to flex their power and wipe our positions as they use this as liquidity  to move price where they want it.

Bayern are being playful right about now, how do you go down 3 nil and expect to show the world why you are supreme in champions league football...I know City is a different beast when it comes to playing at the Etihad Stadium but i never saw this coming.

Halaad my man just one more shot on target and its evens  Tongue

2257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happens If Binance Exchange Flee Away like FTX on: April 11, 2023, 07:08:31 PM
The fact that cryprocurrencies are here to stay, exchanges will always come and go because of various reasons like  not conducive regulations from where they operate from, bankruptcy, being hacked, or exit scam as the anticipated scenario...and if Binance  was to flee, well its  not going to be that simple besides these guys have some kind of safe guards such as insurance that guarantees that they will payout any funds they will be owing...if not possible then their clients will have to take lost coins as a loss.

2260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 11, 2023, 05:45:07 AM
The only good possibility for Arsenal is that if City beats Bayern easily, and gets tired while doing that, then maybe there is a potential that they would be tired for the league game.
Mate you sound like an Arsenal  fan right about now! Btw Bayern is  Boogeyman when it comes to Champions league  football and everyone knows this, i wonder how the bookies arrived at making these guys the underdogs  for this fixture  Tongue

Are you saying Man city has given chase for this long only to get tired in the last minute, I dont think so...they want to destory Arsenals title hopes and make sure that the elephant  finds no more branches to hang on too and the only way is down...And seeing this with be a reunion with some of its former players might turn out emotional for them and i see players like Jesus off their A game.
