There used to be puzzles posted around here, what happened?
this guy ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=880175.0) used to post puzzles and ciphers in games and rounds which was fun but after the hardest one ever i think it was stopped. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

this is just because of different coding. bc.i and most explorers deduct the unconfirmed amount from the balance but insight shows unconfirmed transactions separately and only updates the balance after confirmation.

It's normal and helps you separate your addresses. Also if you keep your coins on multiple devices you'll need to install wallets there. For instance I have a secondary wallet on my phone.
Blockchain.info solves that as well. Same wallet across your phone desktop tablet laptop any device that has a web browser can access it quite well and there is a good app for iPhone an android as well. Plus no need to sync 40gb of the blockchain Blockchain.info is also quite risky as we saw a few months back. It is not a good practice to use it storage. If you need a quick access to make some payment by all means use it, but to keep your coins secure use an offline wallet. I've used it for 2 years and zero problems. I think its the only web wallet I would trust. I use it primarely and don't use any cold storage wallets. I refrain from keeping things on exchanges but I do keep sometimes up to 1btc right before I am going to sell. exactly. i've been using it too. and so far not a problem. and i don't know what Fernandez means by "as we saw a few months back"; all i've found out from negetive posts about bc.i was the users fault like using tor, not having 2FA, having keylogger ....

Yeah iam earn some bitcoin today in Dice Sites. My capital is 0.1 and I profit 0.3 BTC its a simple way to double your bitcoin ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
this not at all a simple way to gain profit dude. when using Dice sites you are bound to lose not to win, it is a rare occasion that someone wins and actually profits from his initial input btc. It's better invest in places like justdice. That's right. I invested there and so far everything is good. but gambling is not an investment. it is not a way to earn money it is somewhere to spend money to have fun.

Don't try out the PTC sites as they pay very less. With coinad, you can make around 0.001 BTC per month which isn't worth the time and energy and btcclicks does not have any high paying ads. Best is try to trade with bitcoins or earn them through giveaways, jobs in Service section or Signature campaigns.
PTC websites are only good and profitable for people who can gain a lot of "direct" referrals. other than that it is not worth the time. honestly i think if someone wants to do PTC without direct reff. he should do faucets. they pay the same and without the hassle of loading different websites which might be scam or contain malware.

well after the recent wave of bitcoin doom posts there is finally time for a moon post too. I pinky swear.

how about simply buying bitcoins and storing them offline in a secure manner. that's how simple investing in bitcoin is.
i agree, this is the best and easiest way for people who either don't know how to trade or don't want to trade on regular basis on each price change. and it is good to keep in mind that buying at any price is not a good idea. buying must happen in the lowest price possible even for long term investment.

i don't understand why you are saying goodbye to bitcoin right now that there are more good news about it and also it is attracting more people.

for every panic seller there is a buyer who gets cheap coins
exactly, every time price falls down drastically because people are panicking and start selling their stash, there are fat pocket buyers stationed on low price positions to take their btc out of their hands.

I know its risky. With high risk comes high rewards. Its a matter about "knowing" that the boom is here, then its more risky not to do this!
i don't mean to be a pessimist but you have to keep in mind that with high risk comes high losses too. no one knows or at least can tell for sure that -as you put it- the boom is here. then the risks is even higher.

as i suspected this engine ran out of steam and had a setback for a while and i think it is going to be this way till next week that the price might lift up again.
My first post was February 2nd and the price was 220$, now it is 282$ so a 28% increase in price ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Thinking there is still a lot of room and positivity for the price to increase much further. i agree. as of today the price is going up and looking good. and i think it is going to past $300 this week and going to keep this upward trend for now.

Yeah, I also did this some time ago. It's just so incredibly depressing to see how cheap the coins were back then. You could have loaded up on so many and now they're so expensive. Makes me wanna cry ;(
that's the thing though, no one can predict the future. back then you couldn't tell if it is even going to rise above $1 just like now that you can not say for sure if it goes past $300

The price is absolutely not moving.. what the hell is going on that the exchange rate is so boring. Where is the action? Where are the pump and dumps?
Things are happening, look at the news, VC capital stacking in, more adoption.. it's just the whales buying slow to not cause a rally for now. but the rally is gonna come eventually though. i think this year we are going to see a nice rise in bitcoin price. and it is better to see it happen gradually rather than a jump which is going to fail afterwards.

Is it standard for one person to have several bitcoin wallets?
it is standard an in fact suggested for one person to have multiple "addresses" not wallets, in fact you would better change your receiving address every transaction. but about multiple wallets, i myself have just tried out a couple of them to see the best suitable one for my needs.

it is interesting to see that nothing is changed except the price itself. there is still trolls trolling around like always, cheering when price is rising and crying on price falling
