I think you made the right decision on that one. Even though difficulty 2 should work in theory I don't believe it has been tested thoroughly has it?

My miners have been mining quite nicely with no problems. I think you got everything stabilized well. Congrats.

2277  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1.2 Ghash for sale on: June 15, 2011, 07:42:48 PM
i dont mean to be a hater

but you can build a machine that will do that speed an more for about a thousand bucks
so why should we lease yours for a short time?
2278  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Got 50+ followers on Twitter? Want to buy/sell BTC for cash-in-hand? on: June 15, 2011, 07:37:51 PM
ok I created an account

and there are no sellers near me

so I changed my profile to will travel 10000 KM (the max)

lol

are there any sellers on that site at all?
2279  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Don't Mine on an iMac! on: June 15, 2011, 01:57:09 PM
Those machines are designed for aesthetics not for power crunching

the cooling systems are not designed at all for that kind of use

it is quite possible the gpu overheated and was permanently damaged.

best thing to do is not tell anyone what you did. Delete all signs of bitcoin off of the machine and then walk into your boss's office wit a puzzled look on your face "gee boss I dunno what happened"

Theres a good chance Apple care will fix the repair but they may try to weasel out of it if they knew you were bit mining with it.
2280  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: 8 Piece Lockpick set - 1BTC shipped US on: June 13, 2011, 03:23:44 PM
quit yer bitchin Smiley

im with yankee on this one.

besides an item is worth exactly what someone will pay for it.

I say if you can get someone to pay $1000 for it, go for it. Its not someone elses job to police the prices.
