2261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another Defi platform got hacked again on: November 16, 2020, 06:21:32 PM
When I hear about another hack of a particular crypto exchange, even in DeFi, it becomes suspicious for me. I had little experience when I became a victim of a hack, but it happened through my action and not being careful. But okay me, but how can platforms that hold other people's assets be so insecure about security? As for me, two conclusions can be drawn here, either they deceive us and they have no protection, or they do it all themselves. It is not uncommon for me to arrange for a hack to launder funds. No matter how it was, the security system is still far from perfect and is subject to risk.
2262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right investment for cryptocurrency... on: November 16, 2020, 06:12:16 PM
No specific amount can be specified Which can be suggested.
It depends on your ability and status. Before investing, you should consider how much you will be able to afford.
For beginners who want to invest, I would say that they should first learn about it.
Learn and earn is better.

Yes, you are right, you need to invest wisely and only the money that you are willing to lose. But not every investor, especially a beginner, adheres to these rules. Cause? Just seeing an attractive offer forgets about the risks and makes a mistake. On the other hand, this is normal. After all, only through personal experience can you understand how to do it right and how not. There are some investors who invest by guessing in the hope that they are lucky and, strangely enough, some of them will succeed in making money, but this is a huge risk and has nothing to do with normal investing. To reduce the risks when investing in a particular asset, you need to know more information about it and its benefits. This is the only way you can avoid losses and make a profit.
2263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will central banks create their own digital currencies? on: November 16, 2020, 06:06:03 PM

Hey everybody,

In the past 11 years since the birth of Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies have gained immense momentum and popularity as they are
decentralized and are rather free from regulation.

As central banks are unable to control the influence and growth of cryptocurrencies, the latest buzz revolves around them wanting
to create their own digital currencies or cryptocurrencies. While some governments are contemplating about it,
others have gone ahead to start working on it.

You can read the full article in our blog: Will central banks create their own digital currencies?

What are your thoughts about the central banks’ digital currencies?

Regards,
Karl
Bitcasino.io

I believe that centralized banks will create their own cryptocurrency and here's why. Since the advent of cryptocurrencies, most of the money has flowed into this asset, and as we know, banks want money to be with them and at least manage money. Now that the crypto industry is showing excellent development, centralized banks realized that this direction will grow and more and more money will be accumulated in it. How do you access this money? Easy, the bank needs to offer to store cryptocurrencies with them, as they have already stated, as well as create their own cryptocurrency in order to attract people and money to them. This is their chance not to be left behind and they will definitely use it.

2266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: November 15, 2020, 02:10:18 PM
In a short while that I have been in cryptocurrency I have seen so many crypto project and fantastic budget and planned you see that some of them still left the project unfinished some even do stop the crypto project without any pre_information about the sudden change of plans concerning the particular project so what do you think about the crypto project that have been suspended half way , what do you think that should be done for this kind of the attitude of crypto developer's concerning crypto project abandoned project.

Of course, it is very bad when a project stops or changes its plans, which ultimately leads to closure. Unfortunately, there are a lot of such crypto projects and probably each of them has its own stories. But for some reason I am sure that most of such projects just wanted to get quick money, but in the end they could not achieve this, or they just got a little more money and closed. In general, now there are very few really good crypto projects, so you need to carefully approach the choice.
2267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: November 15, 2020, 01:11:39 PM
I'm usually a holder I still coins and tokens I've got from Bounty campaign just like the two of the just recent projects I've participated in I'm still holding both of them but there are instances in the past that I dump my coins/tokens  because
The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?

I sell my bounty coins only when I need money. If there is no such need, I try to keep them until the maximum profit is obtained. However, it must be remembered that some of these coins may never give more profit than they are at the moment, and even on the contrary, the price may go down. Based on this, you need to have an honest plan and stick to it. I have such a plan and I follow it clearly. However, there are times when I’m a little in a hurry to sell or I’m late. But in any case, I always make a profit.
2268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be very cautious with your alts this period, you either sell early or hold. on: November 15, 2020, 01:07:14 PM
Bitcoin bull run has a sad occurrence that sees alts dumping in price which leads to many noobs panic selling their bags to the whales and smarter investors who knows how the market operates. While many will be advising you to dump your coins, do know they're those waiting patiently to steal those bags off you as there's another occurrence that not many tends to highlight, which is the fact that alts bounced back after the bitcoin rally are over. Don't be that user that'll regret selling their bags during the rough times instead hold unto your investment. You holding unto your investments has to have some very strong backing like the project has to be really worth it and not the hyped shitcoins getting listed on all exchanges this days. Do your due diligence and get the coins now that they're cheap because a bounce will be coming immediately bitcoin rally is paused.

You are right that listening to others is not always the right decision. Of course, you need to rely only on your knowledge and opinion. Each of us wants to make money, but there are those who want to take possession of our crypto assets. They are the ones who make false information and push us to sell in the face of fear of losing everything. I agree that you need to be able to wait and only then you can get the opportunity to make good money.
2269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: November 14, 2020, 04:40:08 PM
In the past years in this cryptocurrency project many of has experienced had I know especially me because of some cryptocurrency project I missed to participate because of fear and doubt, as a person if you begin to look at the risk and what you have lost in the digital world you Will never get yourself involve in new crypto currency forgetting that life itself is a risk. What then is your fear in crypto?

For me personally, the only fear that cryptocurrencies cause is the possibility of not making money in time. Let's just say it's old from lost profits. I am also concerned about fraudulent crypto projects that hinder and harm the development of the crypto industry. Perhaps these are the main fears that concern me. And so I hope for the development of the crypto industry and I believe that in the future we will have more and better opportunities.
2270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: November 14, 2020, 04:32:27 PM
Altcoins are really scary, if you can do some research you will see many good altcoins that had very good start and value in 2018 and are still alive today but we never heard anything good from them anymore for some reasons, they are now like ghosts, honestly altcoin investment is more scary, this is why its better to always take profit, most especially from new altcoins, Profit is Profit, either big or small.

Indeed, many altcoins that came out earlier are now ghosts. For us, this is an example that not every crypto asset can be successful and give us good profit. Based on this, you need to decide what is more important for you, get any profit or take risks and get nothing at all. I decided for myself that I would sell a part of the cryptoasset and get an affordable profit, the second part of the crypto assets I would keep in the hope of growth and big profits.
2271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 14, 2020, 04:17:26 PM
today I read several articles. and I found an interesting article. the article was titled if bitcoin is sideways then it allows altcoins to rally higher.

you can read it here> https://cointelegraph.com/news/sideways-bitcoin-price-allows-defi-ethereum-and-altcoins-to-rally-higher

what I want to ask is what if bitcoin is not sideways ?. as at this time bitcoin continues its positive trend, BTC is past $ 16k. Will this put the altcoin market into trouble?

I'm looking at ethereum, and some altcoins like nothing has changed. I am afraid that if the bitcoin trend continues the altcoin market will decline. so maybe now is a good time to sell altcoins before that happens.

what do you think my choice is wrong?

For a long time I began to think about how everything happens in the crypto market. Yes, BTC is now showing growth and I believe that all this is also possible due to altcoins. Based on this, we see that only BTC is growing, while altcoins are standing still or may even go down. But we also know that the growth of cryptocurrency in the market can be milestone. First, BTC grows, then certain altcoins grow. Such a scheme has been already many times and it is possible it will be this time. I also believe that ETH has a potential for growth, although its price is now very low.

2273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential on: November 13, 2020, 04:43:46 PM
YOUC is one project that suffered a major dumped in the market, some blame it on bounty hunters because the dumped happens on the time that they are distributing their bounty rewards.

$0.262419 -98.4% Sep 15, 2020 (about 2 months) it dropped $0.00071726 493.9% Nov 07, 2020 (6 days)

Now it past recovering as of this writing  $0.00423788 61.5%

I'm glad I'm still holding my YOUC and even bought more, YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential

What do you think will it recover and even go to the moon?

Here is the thread of YOUC dumping discussion.
I guess bounty hunters really kill projects

I hasten to assure you that you are mistaken that the price of the YOUC token was dictated by the bounty participants. If you can find the time and check the information, you will be surprised that payments to the company's bounty participants began after October 27th. Moreover, payments started from a minimum amount of 119 tokens. Now we go to Coinmarketcap and lo and behold, we see that the price of the YOUC token, starting from the price of $ 0.16, begins to decline from October 11. All this information is publicly available, and anyone can check it. It turns out that the price of the YOUC token began to dump long before the payment of tokens to the bounty participants. From this we can conclude that someone else started dumping the token price. I myself am a participant in this competition and received tokens 6 days ago in the amount of 73,000 tokens and have not yet sold a single token. I still hope that the YOUC token will be able to recover at least to the price of $ 0.04 - $ 0.06 per token.
2274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 is launched on: November 13, 2020, 03:38:53 PM
Ethereum 2.0 is already launched with a smart contract https://etherscan.io/address/0x00000000219ab540356cbb839cbe05303d7705fa

Network status
5,637 ETH already staked and counting.
The eth2 network needs to reach at least 524,288 ETH,16,384 validators, to launch the mainnet.

Information the Ethereum 2.0 release https://launchpad.ethereum.org/

What do you think about Eth2?

As a supporter of Ethereum, I am certainly very happy with this news and I believe that very soon we should see the price of ETH moving up. But in general, this news will take the entire Ethereum platform to a new higher level. I also hope that this will solve a number of problems in the Ethereum network, which will at least reduce the cost of commissions on the network and, as a maximum, will attract even more users, which will make the use of cryptocurrencies in the world even more and easier.
2275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 13, 2020, 03:05:14 PM
I would like to make it clear that I have been a bounty hunter, bounty manager, and part of project management for various projects and this is not to support the bounty hunters but rather to show the reality how bounty hunters and what they go through in this forum.

I know it's not easy to manage a bounty campaign as you will receive thousands of messages from irritating users, there will be hundreds of fake entries in the spreadsheet then you real users disputing that they didn't receive stakes because some imposters have entered their address against the real user's name and sometimes bounty managers or dev team's response would not be the politest one.

But at the same time there are hundreds of hardworking bounty hunters who work really hard in the hope that their efforts would be rewarded but all the efforts are shadowed by the wrongdoings of few cheap users with fake accounts who bombard, spam the bounty groups and harass bounty managers as a result whole bounty hunter community is looked with suspicious and selfish.

Bounty tokens contribute a very small portion of the total supply if we look at the percentage of tokens which are traded but still bounty hunters are blamed for dumping the market with cheap price, regardless of the price bounty hunters sell the tokens if the project is good then the price will not be affected or even if it's affected it will eventually recover without much loss but they are blamed for dump wherein it's sometimes investors who dump the token for quick profit.

The worst part is when tokens are locked for bounty hunters and only distributed to them when the market is already broken by investors, after their efforts and ill-treatment in the hands of such bounties they finally receive worthless tokens which would be a loss even if they trade as the tokens will not even worth the GAS fee charged in MEW wallet to transfer it.

I urge all the management and bounty managers to treat bounty hunters with respect and they shouldn't be judged.

I have made a similar article about the pain of bounty managers and here is the link you may read it and understand I have seen both the phases

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5219422.msg53662033#msg53662033

I subscribe to the words said above. Indeed, if you take a closer look at the work of the bounty participants and see what conditions apply to them, it will become clear that this is a difficult and now low-paid job. At the same time, only bounty participants are blamed for all the problems of crypto projects. I am glad that a person was found who supported the bounty participants with warm words. This is important for me, since I myself have been a member of many bounty companies since the distant 2017. Unfortunately I also see a big problem. I hope that there may be a time when the work of both honest managers and honest participants in bounty companies will be appreciated.

2277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: November 12, 2020, 02:28:38 PM
I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?

To answer your question, you just need to remember a little history. We have known about gold for a long time and most people know the value of gold. As for cryptocurrencies, this is a new type of asset and few people know about it yet. Moreover, in addition to information, you also need trust and application. These two factors have also long been used for gold, but for cryptocurrencies, this is just the beginning. Everything will depend on these factors, which I indicated above. In any case, gold is now a safe asset, and probably some cryptocurrencies such as BTC.
2278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin pump and dump on: November 12, 2020, 02:21:35 PM
Hey guys,
I've checked some intersting altcoins which are pretty cheap now, the projects look promising and legit but I'm still afraid that they could be another pump and dumps (there were so many of them already!). What are the signs or metrics that send alert signals about the projects and I should check deeper or not risk my money? Or is it just impossible to tell if it's another pump and dump scam project.

The fact is that crypto projects cannot constantly show the growth of their cryptocurrency, so the price can also go down. You can see this both on BTC and other top cryptocurrencies. Therefore, it makes no sense to look for crypto projects and altcoins that will only grow, there are simply no such ones. The whole point of the market is to play both up and down. This must be understood and accepted. It is better to learn how to enter and exit the market correctly.
2279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: November 12, 2020, 02:11:55 PM
I imagined how most bounty participants and trader who are below the senior rank most especially those who do not know how to choose good/high rewarding projects if they would would have even made up to $1k in the past 1 year. How would they feel if they have nothing meaningful to withdraw at this pandemic period and just looking at their wallet helplessly. How much have you been able to cash out in the past one year.

Well, I don’t think it’s worth being sad if you managed to make money this year. How much is another matter, but whatever the amount it is, it is still profit. Personally, I earned a little over $ 1000 this year, is that good for me? Of course yes! For me, this is an excellent income, although there were days before when I earned $ 1000 in one day. Of course, the situation in the crypto market is not very good, but those who are trying to definitely make money.
2280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 11, 2020, 06:39:08 PM
I like to share my story being a crypto enthusiast, a trader and an investor at the same time.

I started in this forum in year 2015 when altcoins are still a good investment and Binance is still not the most popular exchange in the market.
I trade with Poloniex most of the time, sometimes I trade with Bittrex but then I realize that I am not so profitable with trading since I cannot focus on it due to the reason that i have a day job to prioritize.

Therefore, I started to invest for long term and I was entice by how the market moves and I was so optimistic that long term could really change my life.
So to make the story short, I invested with different altcoins and have help it until now.

Now, when the bull run comes, I still couldn't sell right away as I was getting greedy thinking I could earn more when I still hold.
of course, who would not HODL when all your friends in the group chat are also doing the same, even if the price rise high already, they are still saying HODL, and I really do it, and just sell a small portion of my investment to reward myself temporarily was I was into a big goal with my remaining investment.

And then, the correction comes started in year 2018, and I still didn't panic, continue to hold and even accumulate a bit when I see price has really dump a lot, just imagine ETH drop 10 times, so its really cheap and really tempting for any investors. So here I am now, I am still holding at a big loss but at the same time I am still hopeful one day my dreams will come into reality.

So top 10 of my portfolio consist of the following based on my blockfolio.

1) Atlant
2) Edgeless
3) Centra
4) Humaniq
5) Matchpool
6) Lunyr
7) KIN
8.) FUEL
9) SONM
10)NPXS

Please tell me if I should still expect I will be profitable or just give up now already.

After examining the list of your crypto assets, I remembered some of them that I myself once held, but then sold. I cannot tell you what will happen to your crypto assets next, but I can tell you how I act. This is how I want to make money and I have many different altcoins and tokens, but I act like this, if I urgently need money, I just sell crypto assets, if I don’t need money yet, then I try to keep crypto assets in the hope of the future growth. At the same time, I set myself a goal that I would wait until 2021 inclusive, as I see this year as the year of a new flight to the moon.
