2261  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will rise on: March 20, 2022, 01:07:18 AM
I see bitcoin price start to grow and improve. From the last few months bitcoin has indeed been in a bearish phase, and now bitcoin has shown its bullishness, maybe it's time for the price to start rising, and I think now is a good time to buy, because we see that there are fewer stocks and more people adopting bitcoin.

March now the market looks better even though there are frequent small corrections but price movements continue to improve, this is what makes us have to be optimistic that bitcoin will soon skyrocket like 2021 which reached more than $60k in april then more than $69k in november.

We shouldn't just look at the per month movement, April historically shows that it's not the best, with tax filing around every country. So just be careful with your prediction as it doesn't make sense to say that it will skyrocket like 2021 because it won't as we are in the bear market already. I know what you feel, we all wanted to see the bull run continue but in this market, it's not always like that, there are 2 opposite side, the bear and bull, and so far, I think we are in a bear market already.
2262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 20, 2022, 12:22:09 AM
Made some mistakes as well, I thought I put a but on the Lakers winning the game early in the second quarter when it was still a tight match, then go back to sleep. so I thought I made a W but when I checked the bet was not there. Anyhow, we will get back tomorrow for sure.  Grin
Definitely, we will get it back. If not now then the next day. But better now.  Grin

Yeah, and we are back on the road with a win:

I didn't know that Giannis will not play in this game, I just had a feeling that they are going to win against the Bucks tonight. The confidence is off the roof with the Wolves, KAT having a 60 point game performance and the whole clowning of Westbrook by both Pat Bev and KAT himself.
2263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Crash in The Next 2 Weeks? on: March 19, 2022, 11:33:47 AM
^ If we broke, $42k-$43k then we could be bullish.

But as of now, it seems that volume is not that high, perhaps its weekend and traders taking a rest. Nevertheless, it's good to see the price is going above $40k and hopefully it can maintain it that way because I'm feeling nervous when we are about to enter the 3rd or 4th week of this month which usually the price goes down again.
2264  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries where you have biggest changes to become rich from zero on: March 19, 2022, 11:09:11 AM
Canada and Australia I agree, in past few years these countries even have lesser racial discriminations which make them good countries for immigrants, but I feel same can't be said true for US, first of all it's not an easy task for a person to get working visa in US, especially if you are from a 3rd world country. but yes if you get into the country then obviously you can be rich if you compare yourself on a global level, won't say rich but you could be well settled.

I can attest to Canada, they seem to have a fair system for immigrants and I have relatives living there for many years. But lately in the US there is a hate against Asian so it's not a safe place to live it specially if you have kids. Would rather be EU countries like Germany and Paris, but still you need to work your ass off to live a good life as you immigrate in those countries.
2265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 19, 2022, 10:33:51 AM
It’s like a sigh of relief every time the Lakers get a win these days. They pulled it off tonight in overtime against the Toronto Raptors. It took a triple double by Russell Westbrook and a 36 point near triple double performance from LeBron James to pull it off. I guess a win is a win but it seems like they have to work pretty hard to barely squeak out a W against teams they should easily beat. Sad to see the old guys continue to struggle. They need AD back in a hurry if they want to make it into the postseason.
I agree. Good results whenever those MVPs worked together as a team and their stats prove it.
They don't even need AD for this to happen but of course, it will be a big plus. Just play like how they used to play and not be careless with the ball and play defense.
I see Coach Vogel is back to his rotation with Russ and Lebron being the center of it. That's nice. Dwight was given more minutes and there's Wenyen Gabriel 7/8 FG 3/3 3pts.
I know its to match the big men of the Raptors but he should do this more often.

And this silent the critiques of Westbrook for at least some time with this kind of performance from him. Positive news for AD though, there seems to be a lot of development so hopefully they can make it to the playoffs and maybe he can play. Vogel should stop experimenting with smaller player, he should put Dwight their more often to play as the man in the middle.
2266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 19, 2022, 10:18:46 AM
While you're true about that, I think we cannot take away Bivol's anxiousness towards his family because Russia is also in an imminent danger as the said country could be retaliated in any given time by other opposing countries who supports Ukraine and even if he's a professional boxer, he is still a normal human being. I'm just saying that everything is possible during the war.

Despite all these issues, I do also believe that this fight will belong to Canelo and Bivol here cannot possibly upset him, but if ever Bivol will then his career would be soaring high and Canelo will surely want a rematch.

It's undeniable that Canelo is the crowds favorite in this battle but I would like to give a hope to Dmitry Bivol to have a chance to ace this fight. I know how great fighter Canelo is and I believe Bivol could be a great opponent for this man. However, I am also hoping that whatever the current situation Russia was in now it may not fully affect the training preparation of Bivol for his upcoming fight. We truly cannot take away the anxious that Bivol's may felt because of the situation but he still needs to be professional and still need to prepare for this battle.

Of course, Dmitry Bivol has a chance here, it might be slim but still, some underdogs can perform very well under pressure. But it's more of his opponents, Canelo is one of the best that's why sport bookies are going to put him as the favorite despite Bivol's number. Unless Canelo didn't train hard because he thinks that he can go and just knock out Bivol and that kind of mindset might set him up for a failure. But then again, with good trainer around Canelo, for sure he knows that training is very important in any fight.
2267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 19, 2022, 09:55:46 AM
The Brooklyn Nets had to dig in deep to get a win here tonight, the Blazers had a terrific game but great effort by the Nets to get the win eventually, definitely the worse night to back the big dogs to cover their spread, 7 matches completed thus far and it's been only the 76ers that have been able to cover the spread. That's why I hate the double digits spread especially with playoffs apporaching and all teams are trying to rotate and get almost all their players in the best physical shape.
Yeah, out of 10 games they only won 2 and that's now and against the Wizards a week ago. Bad luck.
The Nets may have won the game but when it comes to playing offense with offense they lack the power. They need to strengthen their defense because it was highlighted now by letting Portland score 75 points in the first half.
I lost all my bets today. Will try to get it back tomorrow. Even my Over 215.5 for 76ers vs Mavs didn't hit. Ouch.

I also had the same bet Over 215.5 for the game between the Sixers and the Mavs, but when I saw the score in the first quarter I said that chances are slim or it could be a very close score.

Made some mistakes as well, I thought I put a but on the Lakers winning the game early in the second quarter when it was still a tight match, then go back to sleep. so I thought I made a W but when I checked the bet was not there. Anyhow, we will get back tomorrow for sure.  Grin
2268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 18, 2022, 06:35:45 AM
Stephen Curry didn't have a good game and stayed at only three points last night. He didn't play too much and also maybe he was rested in this game I don't know.
Did you only look at the score? He wasn't rested. He was injured in the first half after he and Marcus Smart went for a loose ball.

Steph Curry will be out indefinitely after that left foot injury but some speculate that he could be back next month.

That is correct, it's not that Steph Curry has a bad game, he suffered a bad injury that will sideline him indefinitely and it's a bad news for the Warriors are they are trying to maintain that second spot in the West. But with that lost, the Memphis is not a full game ahead of them in the 2nd spot. But they are going to make the playoffs so that's good news and hopefully Steph will be available by that time.
2269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is getting more bearish, what is the trigger? on: March 18, 2022, 06:04:50 AM
The interesting thing is to always follow bitcoin price movements, when there are too many FUDs it will make investors panic, even those who spread FUDs are sometimes people who have large followers on social media, if we have known bitcoin for at least 1 year we should be able to choose and maintain bitcoin so they don't sell cheaply.

Again, FUD is part of the market, it won't be crypto if there is no FUD, so take that into consideration already. And the market seems to be maturing already, gone are the days wherein the FUD tends to sway the price negatively. Bitcoin is a cycle, the bear and bull, last year was a great year for us because the price goes on a new all time high, but it was also the signal that maybe next year, that is this year, that we might see a bearish trend which is what we are witnessing as the price is just on the $40k.
2270  Economy / Economics / Re: The economy is important for a family! on: March 18, 2022, 05:30:43 AM

Yes. Even if they do not go into trading and the likes, it's good to teach them about alternatives to fiat. For example, they can decide to save a portion of their money in crypto instead of banks.

Yes, if trading I will not give directions there. I will only provide an understanding of crypto first which I think will take time for my daughter to fully understand, and what blockchain is. Then regarding the factors that cause crypto prices, especially Bitcoin to continue to rise and other positive things. After that it's about how to transact, how to store in the wallet, which he must understand well, because if we can't give a good understanding here, then we can lose money because of private key problems or it could be hacking. After this I will come to crypto investing, which can later branch out into trading, but I'd direct her to be holder first.

There is some technicalities that involves when you join crypto, specially bitcoin. It's not just trading per se, which in itself alone will take a lot of your time to understand it. But there is one important factor as well, that is how to protect your crypto, like wallets to used (custodial vs non-custodial). So I'm not really sure how your daughter will take this information and process it at such as young age.
2271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 18, 2022, 05:08:41 AM
GGG admit that he had sparred Murata in the pass,

Quote
"It did take place but that was a long time ago. It was not the pure sparring approach that he came to spar me. I learned during those sessions that Murata is a very serious fighter with a high boxing IQ," Golovkin said.

https://www.boxingscene.com/golovkin-sparring-i-learned-murata-very-serious-fighter-high-boxing-iq--164844

So he knows what he is up against, a serious fighter in Murata and he would have to travelled to his home town and beat him. So this is a very dangerous fight for GGG.
2272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 18, 2022, 02:20:08 AM

I was able to put a bet early, live betting, at 1.81 for the Cavs +11.5 when they are down in the second quarter.

Nice catch, you know that Cavs are now a good team and they'll come back most of the time when they are down with a double-digit points. Cavs lose to Sixers but you were lucky to catch them in live betting. Isn't it the pre-game odds for Cavs is -1.5?

No the Sixers is the favorite against the Cavs, if I'm not mistaken they are +4.5 in the pre game betting.

I ride on the Pistons bandwagon,

And what a game by Saddiq Bey, dropping 51 points, I think we just have like more 50 points or 60 points games now as compare to any other season.
2273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear vs Bull : The Beauty Of Cryptocurrency on: March 17, 2022, 09:52:18 AM
We likewise gain different tokens. Then again, not every person likes Bitcoin. There are crypto financial backers who would even prefer not to have a say in Bitcoin. However hodling won't make you lose, yet it holds no assurance either that you will continuously create gains assuming you don't do anything on your coins.

But I think majority are into bitcoin? do you agree?

Simply because it is the prime mover and it is the first one to really bring crypto to the limelight and now it's a buzz word that everyone around the world is very interested. Even in war torn countries like Ukraine and Russia, they are making bitcoin and crypto like a safe haven regardless if we are in a bear or bull market. Because the war will make their money worthless, so it's better to hedge it to crypto right now.
2274  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: March 17, 2022, 09:23:47 AM
Hello everyone , I wanted to increase my monthly earnings and for that I know I need to have some skills.
Currently I do write articles, but not getting paid as I would like.
I am willing to learn some more skills so that I can get good paid freelance work here in this forum or any other freelance website.
Can you please guide me what should I learn.
Some options I thought digital marketing or take a course on blockchain.
Please give me some advice. I want to earn good money and for that I am ready to work hard and learn some good skills which would help me do so.

I guess it boils down as to what you really love, not what is the latest trend that will give you good money. If you love blockchain, so go for learning software languages. I will just tell you base on m experience, I used to do freelance work years ago about SEO and everything related to it. So I enroll on online courses while taking some projects so really understand and to deliver quality output to my clients.
2275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 17, 2022, 08:56:57 AM
Too much speculation is not good, let's wait for the result of this fight, and let's see how Crawford and Spence would react to a possible big fight. AFAIK, Crawford is already willing to fight Spence, so if Spence would say no, people will lose respect for him as a champion.

for reference, ; https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/terence-crawford-calls-for-errol-spence-fight/206552

I think the main concern relies on the purse split why Spence seems to avoid Crawford. A 50-50 split is not making sense for Spence.

The reason? Between him and Crawford, the former seems the one that will make the possible fight profitable. He is a much-considered King of PPV compared to Crawford and that was proven already.

Maybe a 60-40 should be fine but I don't know if Crawford will like that idea.

Also another concern is the pot might not be very big enough for Spencer to accept Terence Crawford's challenge. As I mentioned before, Errol Spence Jr. is using a similar tactic as Floyd Mayweather where he will so no until the money is right for him to say yes. My only hope is they will not be old before they say yes similar to Amir Khan versus Kell Brook hehe.

I don't think there will be no money in this fight, there will be enough for both, biggest paycheck ever for anyone of them. The hype is still there specially if Spence bet Ugas in his fight. Crawford has been calling him for quite sometime now, it's up to Spence to response back to make this fight happen. We don't want to see him on the downturn of their career before facing each other. It should be in their primes, in the next 2 years.

I never told everyone that there will be no money for Spence versus Crawford, however, it would be very wrong to assume that there will be enough money on offer for 1 of the fighters. I am implying Errol Spence might want more than how much is on offer for him to fight the other king of the welterweight division. This is happening very much similar to Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. There were offers proposed for Mayweather, however, he rejected them because he was very certain the next offer would be bigger. He waited until he thought it was the biggest offer possible from the promoters. I reckon Spence is also waiting for the biggest offer that he speculates would be the biggest possible from the promoters.

So you saying that it will be waiting game moving forward? If that will be the reasoning that maybe there will be no hype if they decided to fight in the next couple of years or when Spence is satisfied with the offer. And who knows, maybe along the way there could be some that might come up and this fight might not going to happen until it was too late.

And it seems that Crawford will have to sit because of this one:

Quote
Terence Crawford has filed a lawsuit against his former promoter Bob Arum’s Top Rank, in which he’s alleged that ‘revolting racial bias’ prevented him from securing big fights and earning millions of dollars.

2276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 17, 2022, 08:02:28 AM
Its normal in this industry because every noise they made counts as this add up the interest of their fans to watch the game since trash talking will build up some hype and controversy to the fight which people like to see its no fun to see if they are both silent knowing Casimero is well known to his bad mouth techniques. Maybe the better thing to do is how his opponent can react on Casimeros trash talk if he slow down in the middle of the fight and been dominated by him then expect that more from this will come.

I don't believe that trash talks will make the fight hype. In the first place, if they really believe that they have a good name, fans will really watch their fight. That attitude is more of being arrogant and non-sense.

Casimero since the beginning does have a behavior like that. That's not because he wants to market the fight. But the difference between him and those other boxers that do trash talks is, he is able to prove it on the actual fight.

Beating Casimero will be the hardest job for Paul Butler in the history of his boxing. But if he was able to do it, that's big news and his career will change for good.

Probably just for bragging rights, so I would say that the behavior is normal, we have seen it in Ali and other legendary boxers who trash talk but they can back it up. It's one thing to trash talk, but other if you can't back it up in the ring.

And as we have seen, Casimero can do his trash talking because his records speaks for itself and maybe that's why he is so arrogant about it. But who knows, maybe he will face some boxers that is tougher that him and can handle his power.

Yeah, but it's better for Casimero not to talk that way, it will just sway fans of him because they are not used to seeing him attacking his opponents with trash talk.

He is already known in the boxing scene before because he has the courage to go to the opponents home soil and beat them up. He should just continue doing this like in the Paul Butler fight because trash talking might back fire on him.
2277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 17, 2022, 07:33:30 AM
Good game as well between the Sixers and the Cavs, I thought that Cavs can pull it off. But they dig some hole early and they have to come back but it was too late as the Sixers hold them off with good FT shooting.

I was able to put a bet early, live betting, at 1.81 for the Cavs +11.5 when they are down in the second quarter.
2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 16, 2022, 03:49:55 AM
Anyone thinks that the current war might affect Bivol's performance? I mean he could be bother by the noise behind this one that his training and his mentality on the fight is not 100% because of the current situation in his country. There could be some friends or family members that is close to Bivol that is directly affected by the war and it might stuck into his mind. What do you guys think? Not making excuses if he lost but we have to look at this angle as well.
2279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price. on: March 16, 2022, 03:11:54 AM
I'ill not vote for anything, before the war we could see prices at the 33K, and it quickly returned to 40K even now support in the 38K range. In the midst of a war, people might divert their money to invest in bitcoin by buying at dip, but I don't know if I must to vote on your board after the war because anything can happen maybe we can see prices on bull or bear.

And now the price is above $40k again, and yet we are still in the middle of the war with no signs from either side to have a truce or something.

So we should really be careful with how we invest our money in the market, as we really don't know the trend of the price. Personally, I think we are somewhat in the bearish market, but we shall see, this year has just started and we might see some swings in the middle or late this year.
2280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 16, 2022, 02:52:26 AM
More than half of all of Ryan's fights he won by way of KO or TKO in rounds 1 and 2. Tagoe shouldn't commit this suicide.

That's the fact that Tagoe has to understad. However, Tagoe probably was getting offered with a big paycheck so he took this fight, and if he really believe that he can win this fight, then he sees this as an opportunity not only to have a good paycheck but a chance to become a champion with bigger fights waiting for him in the future.

Of course Tagoe will be receiving a bigger paycheck in this match. He is up against a rising star in Ryan Garcia. There is money in this fight. If I am in Tagoe's shoes, I also wouldn't be refusing this offer even if I'm being pitted against a much better boxer. I will just have to prepare hard and set the goal to victory. This is actually a big opportunity for him. I think he has nothing to lose here. But he shouldn't be focusing on the paycheck alone. He should also give his best to win. There are much bigger paychecks when he comes out victorious.

And sometimes, fighters that has nothing to lose will just show and fight and maybe score some upset. So we will see if Ryan Garcia is still intact and it's the right time that he come back or perhaps needed more time to recover from his mental health problems. As for Tagoe, yeah, biggest paycheck so he can't say no to his opportunity given to him by Golden Boy and then come fight night, give Ryan everything and make it a good fight.
