2261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano HOLD or SELL on: January 01, 2018, 11:34:30 PM
You need to think about what you expect from this project. Cardano is a long-term project that starts almost from zero. With a new language that aims to be the most secure platform for smart contracts.

In my opinion, in this new year, everybody will start to look more for a platform and smart contracts them it would look for currency. So, if you check their roadmap, they still have a lot of work to do and for every new release, ADA will pump. I will not only Hold but I will try to buy more.
2262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Planning to lend on Bitconnect? on: December 30, 2017, 04:54:46 PM
Do not do That. It is a ponzi scheme and people should stop puting money on there. There is Salt that looks like a real business. WeTrust Maker and other coins that you could invest. Bitconnect is something horrible and people should stop investing there.
2263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: December 30, 2017, 04:52:11 PM
I still believe in monero as one of the best coins to be used, not only to be speculated. But the fees could start to be seen as a problem. And we see that there are many coins that are trying to take the crown from Monero as the coin for people that want and need privacy. Hope we see some solutions to that fund that will pay some devs. I have taken some profits from the ZClassic pump and from Dash and put on Monero.
2264  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's causing this crash? on: December 30, 2017, 04:44:13 PM
People need fiat and right now doesn't have so many people to buy. Corrections are always necessary and will always happen. I hope this correction could kill some ponzi schemes that have started in the last few months. Bitcoin needs people that believe that the economic system will suffer a major change. Not people that want make some profits and go back to fiat.
2265  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-29] Schnorr Signatures Might Be Bitcoin's Next Step Forward on: December 30, 2017, 04:39:57 PM
So, it will essentially make the blocks weigh less? Wasn't segwit already doing that? Do we really need put more stuff in small blocks?

Bitcoin need more debates and proposals but I do not think small changes like that should be seen as a solution for scalability. Bitcoin is not even used right now so it doesn't need a solution for what is now. It needs solution for what it will become in the next 5 years.
2266  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-30] Crypto Exchange Poloniex to Impose Customer ID Requirements on: December 30, 2017, 04:31:09 PM
That is great. But they need to make things faster. When you send documents you will have to wait more them 2 months until they start the process. Sometimes even more. On Binance it has taken me less them one week. Bittrex 2 months.
2267  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-29]John McAfee: cryptocurrency influencer, or manipulator? on: December 30, 2017, 03:11:19 AM
For the last week he was just a manipulator that have profit with some shit advice. It is just sad because he is one of the
longest inspirators for many people that have started with cryptographic. I do not think twitter is the best place to talk about new projects without a proper introduction on other places like, maybe, medium.com. There must be more information on why you choose some project to invest. Not just, hey check this out...

South Korea to impose new curbs on cryptocurrency trading

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea’s government said on Thursday it will impose additional measures to regulate speculation in cryptocurrency trading within the country.

“The government had warned several times that virtual coins cannot play a role as actual currency and could result in high losses due to excessive volatility,” the government said in a statement.

It noted that trading prices of most virtual currencies were much higher on South Korean exchanges than they were on exchanges in other countries, although it did not provide specific examples.

The steps will include a ban on opening anonymous cryptocurrency accounts and new legislation to allow regulators to close virtual coin exchanges if needed, a measure recommended by the justice ministry, the statement said.

South Korea had previously announced its plan to tax capital gains from cryptocurrency trading to tackle what it sees as the risk of excessive speculation.

Bitcoin, the world’s biggest and best-known cryptocurrency, has gained more than 19-fold this year.

In South Korea, bitcoin has been extremely popular, drawing wide participation from housewives and students. As of 0304 GMT, it stood at $14,384 on the Luxembourg-based Bitstamp exchange.

2270  Economy / Speculation / Re: And now we are below 13000$ - down 6000$ in just 4 days on: December 27, 2017, 10:10:54 PM
We need volume. Price is nothing without volume. We are seem that most of the volume is going to alts. So we could see Bitcoin hit a lower price before hit a new ATH.
2271  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-27] Hard Fork, Take Two: SegWit2x Will Return Dec. 28, Says Founder on: December 27, 2017, 09:49:59 PM
@jgarzik has said he is not related to this fork. ANd other has say they are not too. I think this fork is just a scam and miners will not help this time. We see so many forks that are almost like the ICO of ethereum. People are just trying to get some money without any new idea.
2272  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-25] Israel to Issue Digital Currency on: December 26, 2017, 11:07:17 PM
It is always important to say that DIgital Currency is something that includes Cryptocurrency, but it is not the same.

Bitcoin is a digital currency that uses crypto technology and is based on Blockchain. The coins that you receive in online games are digital currency too, but it can't be compared to all this cryptocurrency revolution.

The same could be said about this new Digital Currency that some government wants to build. It is almost the same as fiat, but it doesn't use paper. The same bullshit.
2273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Same Scenario like end of 2013? ( bitcoin crash ) on: December 26, 2017, 11:01:24 PM
It is up again.

This prediction is wrong. We need now think for how long it will be up before a major correction. And when I ask for a correction I mean lower price them tho one that have been the lower 2 months ago. Bitcoin has only crashed for the lower price in one week, But have not been hit the lower price for months. That is really something unique.
2274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Centra x10 in 2018? on: December 26, 2017, 09:44:22 PM
Wasn't this a scam? If I remember correctly, even the government says this was a scam. I think in 2018 this project will have a value of 0. Anyone should sell this shit right now.
2275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My altcoins are in proft. Should I take profits now, before BTC rises again? on: December 26, 2017, 09:42:36 PM
If you are just speculating, you should. But if you believe that BItcoin could not live alone, that other projects have a mean and utility, so never sell. I believe that Bitcoin will be the King in 2018, but it will be not the best investment in terms of return. I will leave not more them 30% in Bitcoins. The rest in solid projects.
2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA or XRP? on: December 26, 2017, 09:40:05 PM
I do not know how someone could invest in something that doesn't ever work. Iota is totally different from anything that we have seen on Cryptocurrency. It is not like the others that look like they are related to Bitcoin in some ways.

Is something unique. If you invest in IOTA, you should just leave this forum and anyone related to BItcoin. Just put all your money on there because if work, they will be the only one.

I would never buy IOTA and would never recommend to anyone.
2277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mr. John McAfee got step back due to others pressure on him :) on: December 26, 2017, 04:08:14 PM
Pump and dump.

The thing is that you could buy when people start to dump and just lose a lot of money. People should be more careful with that and stop follow for the FOMO.
2278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: December 26, 2017, 04:02:56 PM
I do not know about the best. But the worst is just any coin that McAfee talk about. Will could buy and a few hours later you could lose 50%. Is just a stupid pump and dump scheme that is worst then the ones on telegram groups. People could lose a lot follow his advice.
2279  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-26]The year that saw Bitcoin rise and fall on: December 26, 2017, 03:56:51 PM
The year was 2013. Not this years. 2017 we only see Bitcoin rise and break ATH in a matter of days. To say Bitcoin fail you will need to see the price below the price that was on the first day of the month. This never happens in this year. Maybe in 2018 we could see Bitcoin below the price he will have on the first day of this new year.
2280  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-26] Bitcoin is not about the price, it is about a better society on: December 26, 2017, 03:54:03 PM
I do not agree with this term "Better society". I think we could think about a more efficient society. Bitcoin could make things work faster and make easier to audit. Could eventually kill the banks and give more power to the people. But a lot of blood and dirty things will happen before that. Right now is just speculation.
