2261  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [Untuk Newbie] Alasan Untuk Tidak Trading Uang Pinjam on: September 22, 2022, 10:21:36 PM

The tiki-taka strategy that Xavi always developed when he was at Barcelona is indeed very useful for breaking down defenses because it applies excellent teamwork and utilizes speed and accuracy to advance against until finally to the goal point will be executed to score goals. So far with that strategy they have always managed to break down the opponent's defense.
Xavi is one of the players who have a crucial role in the success of Barcelona tiki-taka in Pep era. As far as I understand, there were 3 players who have the most roles at that time, they are Xavi, Iniesta, and Messi. S, if Xavi applied tiki-taka for the current Barcelona squad, it surely will be applied very well. Xavi knows very well about tiki-taka, and he experienced a lot as a player who used the tiki-taka strategy. In my opinion, the point of tiki-taka is teamwork and accuracy. It is about how the players can control the match by dominating the ball possession and creating as many as assists & goal attempts. This requires advanced skills in dribbling, delivering assists, and scoring. So far, Xavi looks quite successful to return tiki-taka to Barcelona players.

2263  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will Investing Help the Economy of a Country on: September 21, 2022, 11:54:58 PM
People's income in a country is indeed one of the factors that will make the country's economy more advanced, and by providing employment is one way to reduce the unemployment rate in a country.
Of course, if most of the society earns a good income, the country will have a good economic situation. But if many people are jobless and earn a low income, the country will have a burden to help people's finances. In my country, the government has tried to provide as many as employment and campaign to improve independent business. One of the possible independent businesses is an investment. So, investing surely helps the economy level of a country.

2264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can someone explain to me why did ETH drop after the merge? on: September 21, 2022, 11:47:17 PM
Everyone expected explosive growth after the merger, just as everyone expected growth after bitcoin's halving. People started buying ETH to make money on the event. Merger happened, nothing important happened in ETH price, consequently people began to get rid of ETH, large amount of coins was sent to exchanges again and this caused the price to go down. Everything is standard and such scenarios in cryptocurrency are not rare. People buy assets in anticipation of some kind of event and then a dump occurs after that event.
Indeed. It is because people don't really understand what the merge is. They think it is the same as BTC halving, but it is not.
People bought ETH because of the good issue about ETH development, sadly they don't know what exactly the development is. Since the merge is nothing to do with the price, surely there is no significant increase in ETH price. Well, people who bought ETH before the merge, must hold their ETH now. It is decreasing a lot along with the decrease in BTC price.

2265  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Kesalahpahaman Tentang THE MERGE Ethereum on: September 21, 2022, 11:33:50 PM
Transaksi Akan Lebih Cepat

2266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 20, 2022, 11:59:41 PM
So far it is still superior to Lewandowski in terms of scoring goals because he is able to use more passes well. But the future is still uncertain, because there are other strikers who are equally productive in La Liga. Although at the moment there are not many strikers who can match the number of goals that have been scored by Lewandowski in La Liga.
Very much agree with you. We don't know if Lewandowski can maintain his good performance. This is just the early of the season, it is very possible that Lewandowski gets injured or gets difficulties in scoring in the next few matches. However, if we learn from Lewandowski's performance in the previous clubs, Lewandowski always could maintain his good performance until the end of the season, especially in the local league competition.

By the way, Lewandowski's competitors for the top scorers this season look quite easy. Most of them are only the strikers from weaker teams, seems difficult to maintain productivity in scoring for the whole season. Especially when their clubs are against big teams. I think Lewandowski is the only candidate to be the top scorer. IMO

2267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: September 20, 2022, 11:58:17 PM
But many people will just simply ignore rules and just try to maximize their winnings, no matter what.
You are right. Greed makes people sometimes don't care about the rules. They only focus on optimizing the chance to get bigger money, and finding the loopholes in the rules to break. I know this isn't something new in every contest.

That's why the checks must be done by the casino, as you can't simply assume people will follow the rules or even act morally. It's all about money for a lot of people so the casino must be robust against abuse, because it will happen.
Indeed. There should be some people to break the rules. So, checking the validity of each participant is a must, I am sure all the casinos do it once they provide a contest. Creating multiple accounts is a very common issue, checking this won't be easy but I think the system in most Casinos is able to do this.

Yes, if he's caught by the system, his prize will be halted. But sometimes, there are incidents that it's not caught by the system and the player just admits to his friends that he's done it.
Sure, sometimes the system can't find the abuse. The system won't always work 100% accurately, there should be a chance of failure.

There are few groups which promote such pump and dump and if anyone buys the pump, they are much likely to incur a big loss.
This most of the times happen in the time of altseason.
Sometimes those groups call themselves as forecasting groups (predict crypto prices). They can attack beginners to join since it is free to join the groups and get free predictions regularly. The beginners don't know if the predictions are the way to trap the beginners. They suggest beginners to buy when they are selling, and they suggest beginners to hold once the price drops. They tell the beginners that it is just a temporary drop, it will recover soon. In reality, the price is getting more decreases.

2269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin all over news so not unknown fiction anymore on: September 20, 2022, 11:40:49 PM
we can't judge other people but there are still many of them who have different notion when it comes to bitcoin. as they don't have first-hand experience, they can think of so many things out of the actual existence of btc. for sure, just asking around your neighbours will give you a hint that most people still don't know how to transact with btc. the population who are into crypto is still very small as compared to world's population. so there's no doubt you can still encounter individuals who have very different outlook in btc
I don't judge people, I just guess them.
And you must understand that I never blame them, nor mock them.
I know it is normal if they don't know Bitcoin, they may never hear/read the information about Bitcoin.

I also have many neighbors who don't know Bitcoin, and they also don't know about cryptocurrency or blockchain. But most of them know well what the digital world. Unfortunately, they only spend time playing with social media (reading others' posts or finding trending topics). They don't think to take advantage like investing in the digital world.

Anyway, if you read clearly, I am not against OgNasty's comment, I support it!!

2270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 19, 2022, 11:35:39 PM
Anyway, Juventus was defeated by Monza is very surprising. How can a big club like Juventus missed 3 points when they played with a small team, especially a team in the relegation zone? It is totally a shame result for Juventus.
I'm not surprised, Juventus performance looks very bad lately. Juventus never won in the last 3 matches. They get a draw with Fiorentina and Salernitana, and then get a loss played against Monza. Well, I think Juventus management needs to evaluate the coach. It is time to replace Allegri with a new coach if no improvement in the next 3 matches. Juventus doesn't deserve to get a draw or even a loss when they are playing with small teams like Salernitana and Monza. Surely it is a very shame, even I am not a Juventus supporter, I am very disappointed with Juventus performance.

2271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: September 19, 2022, 11:20:09 PM
Did that person was able to claim his two prizes for those contests? That's abuse and usually, the complaints that we see on the forum coming from newbies are like from this type of abuse.
It actually depends on the rules of the contest. If the rules stated "no user can win double prizes", it is clearly an abuse to claim 2 prizes. But if no statement limiting the opportunity to win for each user/participant, I don't think claiming 2 prizes is abuse. But to be fair, commonly in every contest, the winning opportunity of each participant should be limited. Regarding the newbies, sometimes they don't read the rules carefully or know them clearly.

2272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin all over news so not unknown fiction anymore on: September 19, 2022, 11:03:58 PM
Regular people still don’t consider Bitcoin real money.
It is because they don't really know what Bitcoin is.

I have friends who I’ve discussed Bitcoin with for over a decade that still think it isn’t real money.
Yep, Bitcoin isn't real money, it is a digital currency.
Tell them if you think real money = physical money, you won't ever know about a digital era.
I guess your friends never know the digital world, mate. Do they have smartphones? Cheesy

They don’t understand that Bitcoin and dollars are easily interchangeable. This is how I know we’re still early. There’s videos on YouTube showing people taking $100 over 1 Bitcoin because, “Bitcoin isn’t real.”
I assume your friends don't know how easy to use Bitcoin. They think it is hard to exchange with fiats. They also may not understand if Bitcoin can be exchanged with dollars or other fiats in many places. Even we have more ATM Bitcoin now. Sure, we are still in the early step of being BTC as a global digital currency. Not all people know about Bitcoin, even some people may not know if there is something called by a digital currency.

2273  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Apa Saja Yang Berubah Setelah Merge Pada Ethereum Selesai? on: September 16, 2022, 09:59:25 PM

2274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for September on: September 16, 2022, 09:42:16 PM
Ey guys, so the merge happened.  Lol...  What happened to the so called triple having?  Everybody was waiting for a pump to 10k before the merge, during the merge and right after the merge but all we have is the same ol' let's follow what BTC is doing.  And it's bleeding red.  Down around 8% or so for the day.  :/
Who are the people waiting for a pump to 10k? I think no one expects such a huge increase. The gap between the current price with 10k is too big, mate. However, it is a bit surprising that there is no pump although the merge happened. I think people aren't interested in ETH merge because it can't solve the gas fees on ETH network transactions and even won't improve the speed of the transfer process. People are disappointed when they know this fact, so no higher demand for ETH although it has a merge event. Instead of expecting the price to increase, we know the price is decreasing now.

2275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 16, 2022, 09:23:16 PM
A player of the month award has been awarded to Erling Haaland in the Premier League for August. Despite being so young, this guy has made an incredible start. There is no denying his perfection when it comes to scoring goals; the man is a scoring machine. There have been 9 goals in 5 games so far. It would seem that he has adjusted well to his new role as a scorer for Man City.
He deserves it, he is an amazing striker.
No other strikers can score 10 goals in 6 matches, it is something hard to do by an average striker. But Haaland did it, he really adapts so quickly to Pep's tactics and Man City players. Yep, he is a machine goal of Man City and he always becomes a player who makes a difference during the match. With his skills/ability and his strong physical, he is a really tough striker for the opponents' defenders. I admire and appreciate him!!  Wink

2276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 16, 2022, 09:08:00 PM
I don't know how they will be able to fight against the money laundering. If gambling companies start focusing on KYC/AML procedure surely it is gonna lose a big number of its users. So, they never take these into consideration until the money laundering is affecting their business.
Every casino will have its own way of fighting money laundering if they really want to fight it. Yes, maybe complete KYC can be one way to find out in addition to other ways so that nowadays, many casinos have started implementing it for their members.
Yep, if the Casino really has the intention to fight money laundering, they can apply a strict KYC/AML procedure. But surely this way may impact the less interest of people to join the Casino because they probably feel uncomfortable with a strict KYC/AML. Moreover, there are too many online casinos, and many of them seem not to apply a strict KYC/AML. Although there are some casinos starting to apply this way to fight money laundering seriously, some other casinos may not really care about it. Even if they have KYC/AML, it is only for the formality only or to fulfill their own rules only.

2277  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin private enough for freedom financially?? on: September 16, 2022, 08:53:29 PM
Since BTC is not private by default and as such every transaction conducted is recorded on the Blockchain and as such one has to provide personal information to exchanges like Binance, FTX and Coinbase when purchasing Bitcoin, it invariably means your real identity is revealed and leaves you open to issues like this;
Of course, every transaction is recorded on the blockchain but I don't think it is a problem. People don't know who did the transaction, the blockchain only shows the wallet address. Regarding CEX who ask for KYC procedure with our private data, we can avoid using them if we want. It isn't a must to buy or sell Bitcoin on CEX, we can do it on DEX as well. DEX never asks for KYC, our private data isn't needed for them. So, you can't claim Bitcoin isn't private only on CEX side, it is only an alternative. We have DEX which keeps the privacy of the users' data.

2278  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] Cryptocurrency dalam kartu PRAKERJA on: September 16, 2022, 08:29:47 PM
Roll Eyes

2279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 15, 2022, 11:17:55 PM
Crypto casinos definitely care about Money Laundering as they are also casinos and are subject to enforce AML & KYC regulations to avoid penalties that can cripple their business. They may not make it too strict so as not to scare away some customers who may be wondering the importance of these details, but they must show a level of compliance to prevent being shut down by the people in charge of ensuring that AML & KYC RULES are enforced.
I doubt if every Casino really cares about money laundering, applying KYC or AML doesn't mean fighting for money laundering. They do this to ensure everyone who comes to the Casinos is the person who fulfills the requirements. For example, someone should be 18+ and not comes from restricted countries. Regarding avoiding money laundering, it surely depends on the Casino itself whether they really have a program to fight this or it is just a side impact on KYC/AML procedure. CMIIW

2280  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebuttal: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset on: September 15, 2022, 11:08:27 PM
And that's what I admire from those rich people, those that are very humble and know where to stand based on the status of the person to whom they're talking.
They're not boasters and they understand the importance of how to talk property when they've got everything and still being calm at the same time.
However, in reality, not all rich people do the same behavior. Only those rich people who care about others' feelings and they have good characteristics, who have that behavior you stated above. Fundamentally, it all depends on the personality of each. For those people who don't care about others, boasting is something usual to them, they sometimes show up their own achievements to others. Good rich people commonly are the people who are religious and probably have good nature since they were kids.
