As other Ponzi websites and this one ended in scamming their users.

Personally i didn't invested there even a satoshi.

I got a bonus from 0.0025BTC i think and let it do it's job, but to withdraw it requires much more btc than you can profit from this amount.

-snip-

or maybe they will not put an option and directly put the payment with bitcoin, thats it and more people will use bitcoin and accept it or adopt it as a payment.

Saying the truth these big e-commerce that we were talking about should have implemented the bitcoin payment method last year.
For example Fiverr has implemented bitcoin in February 2014 (1 Year and a half)
If you havent seen how it looks like here is a pic at their launch: http://blog.fiverr.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/coinbase-2a-selecting-the-bitcoin-option-for-the-first-time.png

Have you tried to withdraw all your bitcoin to fiat cash through ATMs ? Because somewhere i read that it is limited to 70% and somewhere 90% both posts are from marcotheminer, is any of these true or it is 100%.
Are the fees as advertised or more than that from your experience?

No... I always had 30% to 40% of my coins remaining in the account. And regarding the fee, I think it is as per the rate given in their website.

Because, normally I pay around BTC0.01+3% as fee for withdrawing cash using the Bit-X card. BTC0.01 is Bit-X commission, while around 3% is the commission charged by Mastercard.

Thanks for the feedback, I read a post from marcotheminer about this percentage at the begging it was 70%
Then they increased to 90% because of the fees and the conversation from BTC to fiat (usd or eur).
It should give some room to proceed the fees that's why it is 90%.
Yeah i saw these fees has been decreased a bit but still a bit expensive.
2265  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: September 01, 2015, 07:34:03 PM
There is a problem with the website queue and I will be rebooting the server which will fix the problem. This problem should be fixed in my next version which involves overhauling the queue system and adds a token and email system for access to results. This will take a while though since it is a major code rewrite.

I saw the difference and i got the result immediately i think there was no queue as i was first Smiley

I see now that the queue has been increased to 13 at the moment, but still the best platform Smiley

Great website, it worked perfectly for me. (maybe I was lucky)
Do you get 1 potential activity every 14 days?  Huh

If you post only 1 post within the 2 weeks period you will get 14 potential activity.

2267  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do coinbase make money on: September 01, 2015, 07:21:50 PM
Does the transaction fee increase the speed the transaction will be confirmed or does it have not affect, as coinbase transactions seem to be slower than others with a transaction fee.

I use coinbase too but the transaction speed is normal.

Sometimes the speed is fast sometimes is getting slower, it really depends of the network and the number of transaction at that time.

At the time of  "stress-test" the fee has a big role which affect the speed of transaction to be confirmed.

2269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: September 01, 2015, 07:10:28 PM
In February this year there was a huge hack in the bter exchange where were stolen 7,170 BTC around 1.75 Million Dollar

It is always risky to hold your funds in exchange, even if it is large or small amount of BTC Sad

Source: http://www.coindesk.com/bter-bitcoin-stolen-cold-wallet-hack/
Well this is because we do not have all control over the wallet in the exchanger, but if it wants to keep in the exchangertry intalling 2FA and other security features

When you send your money in this case bitcoins you will not have control of it?

The 2 factor authentication has nothing to do in this case because doesn't stop the exchange owner to take your money.

But it is a security factor to prevent other users to access your account. Good luck.

From my personal experience today, it took around 50 minutes for the activity point to be updated.

Since today i waited to become hero it took me around 55 min to be updated the rank

Maybe it took too much time because a large number of members today will be upgraded.

2275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 01, 2015, 12:25:06 PM

As far as i know most of people lose their money in gambling. It is just a very very little percentage that win or at least get their money what invested there(which is better than losing). So i don't prefer anyone to get in the gambling world.

Yup agreed, thats why i'll never recomend my friends to invest their money on the gambling site,
for me its such a lucky, and i think there is no people getting rich on gambling i mean this rich is about your statisfaction and your hapily about your own money not how much money that you have Smiley
If you mean invest in the gambling site like investment, you have to prepare much money as a investors and you will make an agreement about profit with the owner of gambling site. But if you mean playing in gambling site, well you're right partially. Gambling couldnt make greedy people to get rich, but it can for wise gambler.

Would you recommend to your family member to start gambling?
If no you already give yourself an answer if it is good or not.
If you are gambling already then try to be not addictive and try to leave it as soon as possible.
2276  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people are using Bitcoin debit card? on: August 30, 2015, 04:30:17 PM
Do you use your bit x card as much as a bank debit/credit card?

I mostly use the bit x card for converting my coins to fiat cash (using normal bank ATMs). This card gives me the added option of anonymity. However, I have never used it for online shopping or for bill payment. For these purposes, I use my credit card (which is issued by the local bank). Unlike cash withdrawal, the fees for the CC is lower for online shopping.

Have you tried to withdraw all your bitcoin to fiat cash through ATMs ? Because somewhere i read that it is limited to 70% and somewhere 90% both posts are from marcotheminer, is any of these true or it is 100%.

2277  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Old newbie accounts on: August 30, 2015, 04:26:45 PM
do these accounts have any potential activity or do they have 0 posts?

If an accounts has 0 posts then the potential activity is only 14. If it has 1 post then it can have 13-14 potential activity and so on...
2278  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: brainwallet.io on: August 30, 2015, 04:07:37 PM
For those of you complaining to people linking to my slides/blog posts about brainwallets - I'm currently testing support for brainwallet.io in brainflayer. My limited benchmarking gives an estimate of about 75k passphrases guessed per dollar on Amazon EC2 spot instances.

I have read all of your slides and i was surprised,
We are thrilled to know the results at the end, i think it will be harder than brainwallet.org since brainwallet.io use salt???
2279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: August 30, 2015, 03:59:51 PM
This would be the best way to earn Bitcoins: Get a job and take out 10% of your earnings and spent them on Bitcoin. It always works for me  Grin
10% of your income is not bad considering many people do not earn over $100,000/year, which equates to less than $10,000 invested in Bitcoin. That has a lot of potential to grow, considering the very low prices of Bitcoin right now. Great time to buy Bitcoins!

Yes! Low prices means a good opportunity to buy a few Bitcoins. I still can't wait for Bitcoins to get to the moon. I think that the $1000 mark will reach in 2016, maybe?  Roll Eyes
Hahaha wishing that it could happen, but why not? maybe it  could happen tomorrow or maybe end of this year, no one can say. But keep on believing that bitcoin price could increase as bigger $1000 Cheesy

If bitcoin reaches only 500$ then i would be happy, there are many crashes these last few years. But yeah it is a good time to buy.
I am sure Bitcoin will reach $500 or even higher in the near future, taking into consideration the current low prices, which would hopefully prompt people to buy and drive prices up. A tead unfortunate for the folks that bought Bitcoin in November 2013 when it was $1300/BTC or about there. But there is hope. Bitcoin might go higher then $1300 each. Bitcoin to the moon! Tongue
yeah if you look at the chart of the bitcoin price these past 3 years, you will see that bitcoin price is so high, and we all know that the bitcoin is only starting now, and if the bitcoin is in the stage when bitcoin is fame and most of people using it, maybe the price of bitcoin increase as its development increases.

The price was pumped hard but Bitcoin has been more popular that it was before but this isn't enough. When more big e-commerce companies include bitcoin as a payment method then the price of bitcoin will increase. Just my 2 cents.

Bitcoin will soon rise in price is not just because of implementation in the method of payment, but many other factors such as the number of users and the halving

When i said big e-commerce companies i meant Amazon, Ebay, Walmart. And by this fact the number of users who will use bitcoin will increase.
I know that we can indirectly buy there but through 3rd parties which many cases is not preferred and people are having trouble.
like online shopping sites? yes its really affect the the number of bitcoin users., because if they saw the items that they like or need? they will definitely bought it and they will notice that, that stuff are bought only with bitcoins and they will be now curious about what is bitcoin? and they will find out that its easy to use bitcoin and its better than fiat money.

Well i dont think these big e-commerce markets will limit the user to pay only with bitcoin.
An example is the implement of fiverr, when you want to purchase a gig there is an option to pay via paypal and via bitcoin.
In this way people see a new way of payment and in this way they will be interested in bitcoin.
2280  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Bitcoin Debit Card | No Monthly Fees! on: August 30, 2015, 03:55:05 PM
In another thread there is mentioned that the maximum amount that can be spent in one transaction must be under 90% of balance, here is mentioned 70% which one is true?
Why not spending 100% of the balance including the fees.
