tbearhere - have you checked the ports? Some of them are not the same as hashpower.
Yes I did.....but rechecking again. Thx EDIT: bingo..... found it one port was wrong. I had port 5433 instead of 4533 for lyra2v2. Thx again Happening again. Looping around. Crackfoo was the pool down? It's working now but was the pool down? shouldn't have been... I was tweaking some neoscrpyt settings as there seems to be 4-5k miners connecting Maybe that was it because everything was working great except for about 10 minutes ago...now it's fine.

Look at all the newbies .15 btc for poloniex then add .5 btc.... and you can't use it .. no instructions. lol I could hire a private investor for that amount.

So that hackers (or Cryptsy) made 1750BTC for just (STEP1) announcing the news on being hacked and been able to (STEP2) pursue hacker to returned the stolen coins.
I guess the hackers should also let everyone know how they hack the site so that other exchanges can learn from this?
Exactly so that other exchanges can learn from this!

crackfoo my bat file keeps looking for work...going through the algo's over and over. Mostly mining ok but, this happens once in a while. Do you know why?
Probably test each algo separate. Maybe the pool is trying to force you into one that is not working properly on your machine. also dont add any algos to the password field that you are not mining; it will endlessly look for the algo that wont ever start On hashp. it works perfect...and there are no extra algo's in the bat file line. So your pool is doing something different. Trying again. Personally, I used to find hashpower used to kick me off the x11 algo only to loop through the algos and go back on x11. I think I have experienced the issue you describe more on hp than here, but they are based on the same code base. I think what might be the cause is when the most profitable algo is marginal and when you connect on one algo, it is not deemed the most profitable at the time, and so then tests the next algo. The most profitable algo changes as you go through the loop, and so sometimes you loop through the algos a few times. It shouldn't happen frequently, so if so double check your config. Yes it seems so....thx It's doing it right now. All 4 miners on different rigs. And on hp I have no problems it acts like the stratum is down. And it's the exact same bat file. EDIT: crackfoo pools not working read above plz.EDIT: crackfoo pools not working read above.

walletbuilder?
what do you mean ? I mean .. why script .. what about the more advanced algos? Firstly its SCRYPT not script Secondly you tell me which one and how other algos become advance and what is wrong with script ohhh sorry SCRYPT Thirdly if you look name of coin things would be more clear to even a KG going kid that it is ANTI LITECOIN not anti of any SHA/X-algo or cryptonote etc..... hope things would be more clear to you NOW. Humm I prefer lyra2re2 Because 90% of miners don't mine asic algo's. So you lost a lot of miners. But good luck.
|
|
|
90% of miners don't do SHA256...but good luck....... neoscrypt or lyra2re2 or quark would have been better imo.

Anyone know how I can override the gray scale to white on the pool page? Thx
Is it any better now? Yes crackfoo....great.. .. thank you.

I'm not sure if you have the last bit right: -d 0,1,2,3,4,5 Not sure what this is for? Difficulty is set with d= edit: n/m it's for your miner settings.... Yes it should work just the same. Except, you might earn more BTC Thank you Yes the -d argument or command is the device or card number you want to mine with in ccminer. Giving it a try.

crackfoo... anyone please...I use this bat file on hashpower.....will it work as is on your pool? I know I need to change the stratum, but what else do I need to change if anything .... for BTC and ccminer windows 8.1.
Thx

hashpowerco could you please have the readout of algo's FIXED maybe in alphabetical order....it is driving me crazy I see quark on top then x11... then it changes to neoscrypt on top...you know make it like nicehash has....the most profitable changes but the algo's stay the same..... thx

>>WDDM is Windows Display Driver Model. It basically dictates the driver architecture for GPU vendors that seek Windows support. But you can indeed use old Windows 7 (WDDM 1.1) drivers on win8/10 to get rid of the downgraded performance using Compute 5.2 cards (5.0 need not bother). There's a guy @Mo35 on the ETH forums that took the effort and confirms it works.<<
Anyone know where that info is please and the hashrate on a 980ti gtx nvidia windows 8.1? Thx
@Mo35 are you there?

1. Why is my hashrate with Nvidia cards on Windows 8 and 10 so low? The new WDDM 2.0 driver on Windows 8 and 10 uses a different way of addressing the GPU. This is good for a lot of things, but not for ETH mining. What is WDDM 2.0 driver?
Is this the graphics driver ? If so can I install a driver from 1 year ago and then will that work?
Thx
Very old question but since i was away, I'll still answer: WDDM is Windows Display Driver Model. It basically dictates the driver architecture for GPU vendors that seek Windows support. But you can indeed use old Windows 7 (WDDM 1.1) drivers on win8/10 to get rid of the downgraded performance using Compute 5.2 cards (5.0 need not bother). There's a guy @Mo35 on the ETH forums that took the effort and confirms it works. Thx What hashrate do he get on a 980ti doing that? Thx He is on bitcointalk forum?
