2261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Dominance Reducing on: March 25, 2017, 07:06:38 AM
Fortunately I took the risk of selling 80% of my bitcoins at $1250. And perhaps I will buy some coins at $800, but I am not so optimistic about the next future of the bitcoin because it is clear that speculators are only using it as a pump and dump business.
I would advice you to buy bitcoins once more since its a great opportunity to buy bitcoin at a low price.I dont even know whether we could get such a low price in future.Good Luck.
The fight was simply to get the price of Bitcoin down by any means necessary, so they can buy low again, but the resilience of Bitcoin remain unabated and there is any extent it cannot go down to, So after the profit taking at those top prices, guess it is now time to start mopping up the overflow in the market because stanta claus doesn't show up everyday.

For those who were arguing that below $1000 was a pipe dream, well this is their Trading 101 - financial market never continues indefinitely in any one direction, nevertheless, it never loses track of where it is headed fundamentally.
2262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: March 24, 2017, 09:52:32 PM
They can ban it as much as they want, but everyone who was using it before would continue to use it as if nothing even happened. I do not think that they can track transactions or stop us from using Bitcoin, so it is not going to happen anyway.
It is evident enough from China and Russia attempt to ban Bitcoin that it is a wind chasing exercise and they in fact ended up having more of their citizens hooked to Bitcoin than there were before the ban, now they have eaten the humble pie. I don't understand how any entity can effectively ban something that is decentralized and borderless, does anyone know?
2263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: March 24, 2017, 09:29:32 PM
Best to invest right now is to buy bitcoin as price is continously
rising. You can also trade some altcoins seems price right now
is cheaper, the best time to invest also and hold it. For sure,
price well increase though. Thus, hold your bitcoin seems
increasing its demands.
Right now bitcoin dropped at below 1100$, but no worries it can still recover we just don't know when Smiley
However, investing in some altcoins was a good idea also to take the chance then hold it for a long term.
There is nothing strange about price touching below $1000 mark. In fact, it was long coming and that goes to show what bullish pressure is at work on Bitcoin. At any rate, drops in price like these are actually good sights for smart traders, because they present another opportunity to buy Bitcoin at reduced price. We all know by now what Bitcoin is capable of in terms of appreciation in value!
2264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do miners really think destroying Bitcoin will make them rich? on: March 24, 2017, 08:25:43 PM
The miners are threatening these things, not doing them. Let's just see where their big-talk leads, besides, we already have effective ways to defend against these attacks anyway.
Evidently they only stopped short of carrying out their nefarious intentions, because the exchanges were able to put up a fight and made it quite clear that the world can always do without a best man! In the absence of that check, those miners were far gone on punching a hole on Bitcoin. Centralization of miners is a misnomer for Bitcoin, whose major selling point, is its decentralized nature.
2265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: March 24, 2017, 05:59:08 PM
I just decompress with breathing and some meditation that I watched on youtube. Cheesy

Seriously you do not get too involved into the whole trading thing or it will make your emotions take control and you will make a fatal move that could cost you alot in the end.
That is more or less like running for cover at the sight of trouble and doing that every times your game goes the other way won't provide any lasting solution instead it would fester you with even more unnerving emotions, which ultimately leaves you sad and edgy. If you allow it all to snowball into administering of medication, then you are losing the battle and your health could be at risk, because your system soon gets used to it.

PMed you and waiting for your response. By the way, what's the time interval for payment - immediately post is accepted, think you should specify that to guide one accordingly.

Senior : 0.0001 BTC + 30% Boost on rakeback/diceback

Legendary : 0.0001 + 30% Boost on rakeback/diceback

hi there! i just wanted to ask about the payrate.. why is member and full member are of the same rate? as well as senior to legendary?
I suppose that is for instance, a full member gets to get 0.00005 BTC per post and for a maximum of 25 posts a week, leaves us with 0.00125 BTC? Not a handsome offer IMO.

The main thing must be in a player keying into the 30% boost and running with it. Don't you however think there should also be something - extra motivation for players, who can't participate in this campaign, because they are already into other campaigns, but are active in dice games via links from Diceback?

2270  Economy / Gambling / Re: Seuntjies DiceBot -Multi-Site, multi-strategy betting bot for dice. With Charts! on: March 20, 2017, 04:32:59 PM
Seuntjie, can you give me a hand how on programmer's mode, I can go about coding an iteration of same bet size 10 times. On loss, nextbet should be, previousbet*4, then same bet size maintained until 10 consecutive winnings turns up and then back to basebet.

I don't really have time to help people write scripts, sorry. Please take a look at https://bot.seuntjie.com/programmermode.aspx and the tutorials linked in it.

Alternatively you can ask at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1114503
There's usually someone willing to help, but usually only if you've tried something yourself.
I didn't mean writing the script for me, just some clue on how to accomplish iteration, I already have couple of script running. All the same, thanks for pointing me to the link, will dig in to see how it is done.

2272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are dice sites reliable? on: March 20, 2017, 05:46:02 AM
Most dice sites offer the "third party verification" feature.

Provably fair was created mainly to ensure that dice sites are reliable!
That indeed was the purpose of provable fairness, but when a site hides the hashes and shows it only after a player requests/click some buttons, it leaves one wondering what goes on behind the closed doors. For a dice site to be truly fair, it should be able to display the hashes before a games, so that any player can verify with the outcome afterwards that there was no fowl play. This was the ordeal of a player http://themerkle.com/999dice-scam-exposed/ They must have had to improve by now because you can now actually leave their "Fair Bets" button open while you roll to see how the server seed hash changes as you roll.
2273  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: March 19, 2017, 03:02:43 PM
hi is it lottery of FreeBitco.in legit or scam

me i think not legit

Why do you said that it is not legit? Many people already start up with this thing as i know, because this is the oldest faucet site ever and they never have any problem with provably fair thing. All they need is to give you guys good amount of faucet to be claimed. They give free money and you said that it is not legit?
From your comment, it is obvious you do not know when a carrot is being dangled before you as a snare! Where is the free money, is it the  about 200 satoshi they give every hour? That is actually less than 1 cent, now compare that to what you stand to lose with rolls that are not provably fair. I tell you what, after gathering your faucets here for days, you must likely hand it over before leaving the site - that is the catch.
2274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: March 19, 2017, 10:58:29 AM
Get food or sleep this is the best way.. Go to an empty area and scream so hard then go back home trust me it works
Only works to calm your nerves, but the hydra is still alive and would strike again and again. It to understand that it is near impossible to live outside of emotions, because they are actually the things that makes us human, so at best what we can do is to manage them.

Some proven ways to manage emotions is to have a trading plan that encompasses a stop loss and profit target and then with some discipline, we come to realize when enough is enough and be gone. Another way is to engage a customized bot to trade according to our set parameters and because they are emotionless, we can expect them to do exactly as they are instructed to do.
2275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: March 19, 2017, 10:06:13 AM
Experts can make Bitcoin related predictions but none of them will ever be entirely right.  Some supposed experts thought that Bitcoin would die after the 2013 pump, but now it's smashed the ATH from then.  Bitcoin price prediction is never easy, and trading is never easy.  Traders might make a profit overall but they have to live with the knowledge that at any major point what they're trading could hugely collapse (especially if they're too reliant on Bitcoin) and they'll have lost most of their income.

That said, as long as traders have a few different things that they're trading and have some savings in case the worst happens, it's fine that it's an unpredictable job because it's still very profitable.
Trading is hard, there are more unsuccessful traders than there are successful ones, but more often than not, traders fail not because their ideas are wrong, but because they became too emotional in the process, this failure comes from making the wrong decisions like closing trades too early or letting their losses run too far, but never the less every trade no matter how certain you are its outcome is simply and educated guess, nothing is certain in trading.
It is all about the trading decision a trader gets to make! In stable market conditions, a knowledgeable and skillful trader can to a very high degree of accuracy predict the market, but at times like this, when there is so much uncertainty and lack of direction in the market, most experienced traders would rather stay out of the market until the bubbles are over or find some ways to cover there exposures. A trader have to survive to be able to trade another day!
2276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why different exchange markets have different prices on: March 19, 2017, 09:09:07 AM
When there is no law, regulations telling exchanges to set their prices properly, this shows the true decentralization of cryptocurrencies.
Even if you see $1170 on an exchange how many coins can you sell or buy with exact amount?
That is right, each exchange fixes their own rate according to their demand and supply but their computers endeavors to sync their prices, which is one reason those wild disparities doesn't stay long. There are some traders that actually set out to hunt for these disparity and exploit them. The use of software makes it less stressful and quicker to spot and respond to. So next time you spot such differences in price and the fee are not disagreeable, go ahead and make some coins out of the situation - network speed permitting.
2277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: March 19, 2017, 08:31:44 AM
I'm also a beginner in trading. I'm currently hoarding satoshi from faucets and sites that payout in bitcoin. I'll try to trade altcoins on poloniex and make a small profit.

That is the right way to begin your journey in bitcoin world first try to collect from best possible ways and once you get good amount of bitcoin start investing them in trading sites to grow your coins even faster.
Want to point out that faucet is not one of the best ways for gathering coins, as it takes so much more from you than what it brings in. In its place, I am suggesting you put more effort in signature campaign here and it only entail making of a few number of quality posts everyday and you will end up with something worthwhile at the end of every week. Moreover, you are going to be having the rest of your day to learn to trade and do something else, which is one thing doing faucet would deprive you of.
2278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how has your attitude to bitcoin changed the longer you've been into it? on: March 19, 2017, 08:13:59 AM
At first I saw those zeros as something quite easy to fill up to 1 Btc, so I got working at it- microjobs, faucets, gambling, etc only to discover that 100 million satoshi is not all said and done and no thanks to all manners of scam programs and wallets. The cloud is a bit settled now except that the looming civil war between miners and exchanges is one thing that threatens every milestone Bitcoin have covered over its eight years of existence.
2279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can I make 100$ in 2-3 month without a base money? on: March 19, 2017, 06:25:20 AM
Since the central idea is to raise some capital, I will suggest you use the $20 in buying a higher rank here in the forum to give you an upthrust and then steadily build your way further up through signature campaigns. That is what is at least reliable and almost risk free among the bunch you are suggested to do here. As for gambling, I doubt you're ready for it and you should know it is a form of entertainment and not a means for making money.
2280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Exchanges Unveil Emergency Hard Fork Contingency Plan on: March 18, 2017, 08:52:25 PM
The notion of altcoin will not exist any more.  Bitcoin will have become a coin like any other.
First mover advantage gone if ever that happens.
Wrong. BTU will be, per definition, an altcoin. I'm not going to comment the latter part, but it will surely have a negative effect short term. I guess this is what they wanted when they were "concerned with the user experience". Roll Eyes

These you have it folks, the economic majority is coming to a consensus that the BU implementation is an altcoin and will be listed under BTU. Cheesy
But won't BU still make bitcoin's price go down a bunch, if it hardforks?

I'm a bit confused of this whole situation. I tried reading about this in many different places, such as coinbase, and everyone keeps saying bitcoin will hardfork. That would then decrease the value of bitcoin?? I'm a bit scared of what will happen with bitcoin to be honest.
Yes; to be frank, it will be a "fucking blood bath". Whales supporting their own chain will be dumping the other chain to the ground in hopes that their chain is significantly stronger than the opposition.
These blood letting portends no good experience for the average user, whales stands to buy back at ridiculous low prices, while average joe might have had a chunk of his worth and purchasing power gone with the wind. What to do now Huh Guess the time is ripe for migration while these two elephants make a show of their sizes.
