2261  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will finally win the Blockchain competition; USA or China? on: November 02, 2018, 04:45:34 AM
If the country of USA will remain not open into the use of cryptocurrencies then China may take the lead in the future they are quietly adopting blockchain technology into different systems, payments, bankings etc.. they are already using the different contactless payments in stores and I can see they also will integrate digital coins into it lets wait how USA will react once it will totally legalized the use of cryptocurrency.
2262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with banks you have faced on: November 02, 2018, 02:47:22 AM
This story was not happened to me but to my friend he has lost over $2000 in his savings deposit account he rarely check his bank account because its a trusted and one of the biggest bank in my country and to his surprise upon checking he only have almost $100 left until he found out that there are many unauthorized withdrawals in different atm locations he immediately go to branch and investigations are still ongoing until now almost 5 months and nothing happens, if ever this banks will use a private ledger/blockchain which we can use to check our accounts in seconds in explorer then this problem might be stop immediately.
2263  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Twiiter Suspending Accounts on: November 02, 2018, 02:18:24 AM
2264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency is best for storing money? on: October 31, 2018, 06:44:06 AM
Well I can only suggest a bitcoin which is the most stable coin for me for now Imagine last year up to this current date the price is still the same its $6300 this is the base of all crytocurrency thats why I also trust that bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency if you want to hold it for a long time.
2265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of news circulating for Bitcoin prices on: October 31, 2018, 02:31:02 AM
Unfortunately good news does not sell newspapers.  Angry  One of my friends used to work for a news paper and that was one of his most common statements that he repeated over and over again. We used to ask him why there are more bad news than good news in news papers and he would say, "Good news does not sell newspapers."

People are drawn to bad news, because it is sensational and almost everyone likes controversial and shocking news articles. <It speaks to the gossip being inside of us>  Tongue

The counter argument is, "Even Bad publicity is Good publicity."  Roll Eyes
So does this means media are profiting well for spreading bad news even if its not totally bad news at all they only add false stories to make news more live and really convincing to most crypto people/traders I understand now dont believe well in all media publications its 50% real or fake.
2266  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the odds that the government/banks will truly create their own coin? on: October 30, 2018, 07:41:12 AM
Governments and banks already have their own currency and it is the fiat currency. It is unlikely that they will ever try to create their own cryptocurrency. Even if they do try create it, it will not be decentralized. A centralized currency will hardly be able to cryptocurrency.
I agree crytocurrency is really volatile and banks do not want such kinds of coins they want stable coins if they want to consider creating a system using a blockchain technology would be beneficial to banks rather than creating its own digital currency with minimal uses.
2267  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [20/10/2018] Novogratz Says Cryptos Are Safe, Expects BTC to Rally In Q1 2019 on: October 30, 2018, 05:23:54 AM
In my observation in this many experts predictions like Novogratz comment it seems that all of this is just pure opinions and no factual basis that it will lead to something big movements in price even in next year, Can I ask is there any personality who predicted what happened last year of Dec 2017 when btc reach its new ATH?
2268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will die at 2027 on: October 29, 2018, 08:00:53 AM
Bitcoin died so many times in this forum lol and still its on the top of the best coins today still the number one and I cant see any systems or quantum computers can destroy btc in the future or even after 30 years from now we can see how powerful bitcoin is towards the coming years theres only one entity who can destroy bitcoin and its us users.
2269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading platforms are growing but what about investors ? on: October 29, 2018, 06:51:34 AM
I think we dont need too many exchanges what we need is an exchange with low listing fee and high volume it can be centralised or decentralised and with no bots this are the one who manipulates the trading the use of hundreds of bots wich operates every seconds 24/7 the trading fee should also affordable and not too high.
2270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Important HITBTC Question?! on: October 28, 2018, 11:04:39 AM
Hitbtc has a system health feature (https://hitbtc.com/system-health) that you can actually check the status of a coin or token if its is operational or having problems at the moment try to check this feature first before making any transactions to avoid problems Im using hitbtc for more than a year now and did not experienced any problems other than delays depends on network.
2271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: October 27, 2018, 02:12:54 PM
Too many exchanges means more liquidity but less volume because its divided on many exchangers like in binance I can see some coins which has very large volume but in other exchange very less another disadvantage of having many exchange is its more prone to hacking some exchanges doesn't meet the security standard which tend to loss many coins in most traders, Im not against having very many exchanges today but the security must be very tight in every platform.
2272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders must remain calm on: October 27, 2018, 01:45:33 PM
Holders are the one who is only holding not selling they continue to accumulate more bitcoins in bear market and holding for a long time without any selling just keeping into their own storage traders are not holders of bitcoin they are the players who make profits once the market moves.
2273  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Handa ka na ba? on: October 26, 2018, 06:56:47 AM

2275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: October 25, 2018, 07:37:11 AM
Hi. I just have a question. I have my smartphone with me. Can I mine with this? (Xiaomi Mi Max) And will it be profitable or just plain stupidity? I don't want to ever destroy my device but I am really curious about it. I don't want my time wasted mining then I can't even have ROI. Thanks if anyone is answering this!
Its just a simulation and not actually uses your smartphones power and cpu like mining on gpus smartphones cannot handles such kind of computing power your smartphone is actually safe at this but it will take time to earn huge amount of tokens from this in my experienced.
2276  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines starting to accept and adopt cryptocurrency. on: October 25, 2018, 04:41:04 AM
I hope all other countries is open to every innovation especially in financial aspects like accepting digital currencies which is slowly entering into our everyday activities and adoption will continue without having problems into regulations, we need to rely in technology to stop abuse in financial systems we need digital currency.
2277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Social Media to Crypto on: October 24, 2018, 02:23:07 PM
I can see many crypto influencers uses social media for everyday news and updates regarding bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies and many ICO and blockchain advertisements can be seen on social media platforms today which is a great tool for spreading the news about the digital innovations around the world this is the biggest effect I can see on blockchain when it comes to social media platforms.
2278  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Anyone using Bitcoin Core here? on: October 24, 2018, 02:05:35 PM
