2261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Still Supporting And Playing On Newly Launch Casinos on: April 20, 2022, 01:10:43 PM
Honestly, not really. I usually don't play in newly launch casinos but whenever I do, I always do research first such as reading their Terms and Condition to see if they are plagiarized or put something unusual, double checking the license if they are really licensed, ask the chat support for some questions and lastly double checking if their games are fair or not assuming they are offering provably fair games.

The same and how could I trust those newly created casino if they don't have reputation yet, we know many scams has been done here so I that is one of the factor why I avoid playing on new and stay only on casino which I tried for so many months. Maybe I will just play if there's fun mode offered but for depositing some amount well I rarely do this because I don't trust new platform easily.
2262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Metamask iCloud backup phising scam... on: April 20, 2022, 11:56:10 AM
This always remind us that never put everything in Metamask also never tried to put something unusual to our wallet especially if the source are unverified or something shady to us. These hacking incident happen to that user is another unfortunate sight to see which other whales need to learn of since if many of them keep putting their huge amount of money on a platform which security is questionable or if they don't have enough knowledge about many schemes then provably they might encounter this issue. Hopefully many will be more watchful to their balances and never ever download unknown things which we can see on our email nor try to sign up anything, Verifying the information we received is a must here.
2263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: April 20, 2022, 10:32:14 AM
Mining has to buy software requires a lot of money and paying for electricity also costs money and it takes time to get bitcoin the process is long so I use my money to buy bitcoins and I save I believe the bitcoins I save will be a valuable asset in the future.

Electricity cost is one needed to consider on this since if you live on the country which the electricity cost is so high then maybe we cannot get a good return for mining bitcoin on some other cause and continuous running it will cost high if we choose to select renewable energy to run our operation. So for small time investor much better if they buy bitcoins than mine it because it will give them more convenience since if they push maybe they will just add to those persons who sell their rigs because they didn't see this worthy anymore.
2264  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — 1st licensed crypto casino 🥇 Change the way you play 🚀 on: April 19, 2022, 10:43:22 PM
Looks like the BTC prediction contests are going to end soon in both the site and the forum for this month. BTC hasn't been fluctuating a lot lately which is a bummer since I didn't expect it to be so stable.

Wagered 5 mBTC several times recently and posted a couple of predictions on the site, but it looks like I might lose yet again thanks to some stiff competition.

Winning 100 mBTC for first place is seriously epic, but I would settle for the top 10 since 5 mBTC itself is a big amount for me. Excited to know the final results soon.

Doesn’t look like I have much of a chance either. I expected the price the drop a bit. Oh well, always good to have the opportunity, there will be many more as bitcasino.io are always the most generous with their competitions.

The 39Kish price support of Bitcoin is so strong that rejects my prediction with a price below 35K €. I never thought that it will go sideways when it dip below 40k since 40K is already a strong support. I have a closed prediction around 35K€ and I hope Bitcoin will dump more until the timer ends. I might consider adding a more prediction tomorrow once the trend is known. Goodluck to all of us!

That is deep prediction to have but there's possibilities that this might go if things not go well with bitcoin but for the support it got I think this 35k or more deeper will might not come until the timer ends.  My prediction is at $38k which is close to what current price now so what I want to see right now is small pumps so that we can see a correction after the timer almost ends and for sure those people who predict for a dump will be thrilled for that scene.
2265  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you advertise your casino? on: April 19, 2022, 02:27:44 PM
Most of the gambling casinos here make their beta in their gambling platform and before release some of them let the member found a bug like a bounty hunting for the improvement of their platform before making a release on it the market totally, next is to make a promotion some of the platforms makes a signature campaign through using the banner and their avatar images and let the participants of the campaign. It is ideal to get a good reputation to the community and also add some events like the first registration rewards.

Bug bounty hunting is good start actually since this could encourage user to test their casino and find possible bug they can discover. Some also do signature campaign like what most of the people say this but I think it will be early to execute this marketing option especially if you are just planning to launch your casino maybe the announcement about bonuses and other things related to what can people make engage on your platform is good to have here. Lastly this signature campaign is good support since this could rise the awareness to support those other actions made and make people aware that there's something cool happening on their casino.
2266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price of Bitcoin still in such a state? on: April 19, 2022, 12:11:58 PM
But my idea is wrong.
Pretty sure you already have the answer to your question. Plus I think your time frame is a bit too small? Bitcoin didn't reach its current status in just a few months, look at it in the big picture instead of a small one and you'd honestly be able to see that 2-3 months is nothing. It's going downhill because of the small perspective you have, so honestly just keep calm and wait, we're going pretty steady atm which is a lot better than dropping down like a few months ago, and that would mean that the market is stabilizing. Now as to when it will pump no one really knows, but it might be better to wait in a time frame of 1-2 years instead of months.

Even if we didn't see some great changes to the price which could make all people happy still we can say that we are in good position knowing that price of bitcoin stables at this current rate, maybe those changes we assume to happen will happen in future and I believe this bull run which people always discussing for is not gonna happen by this quarter or maybe on next since I think we can expect that to happen in next halving as history show this will always happen on this event.
2267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NO RISK, NO REWARD on: April 19, 2022, 11:02:09 AM
No risk no reward a nice word to be heard by certain individual since this give us a huge confidence on every investment done on each platform we put some interest. But we also need to do smart action because if we just take those risk without even thinking that we may fall unto those scams offering some appealing returns to us investors. That's why for this we need to take precaution by studying each platform we go so that we can enjoy the risk on crypto investments.
2268  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — 🚀 BTC Predictor of April 🚀 WIN a share of 250 mBTC 🚀 on: April 17, 2022, 09:53:46 PM
-snip-
Agreed. Many gamblers lose their hard earned funds trying to replicate such big wins, but they don't focus on the fact that most of these influencers are usually hired to play for the casino with funds provided by the house.

They basically play with real money in fun mode and acquire a small cut of that amount for their effort. This is a smart and legitimate strategy overall in my opinion.
Actually they replicate big whales in hope of earning high profits same as them but that's not happening with them and they start wagering aggressively going above their budget. This then lead to financial as well as personal issues for these gamblers and have seen such cases.Having control over yourself in gambling is must to avoid any problems.
The point is don't copy the bet, I think imitating whales is a trap for us where we will lose a lot of money and personal problems that arise later, whales always play millions of dollars in their wallets, it's not much for them but if we imitate it, we will who will suffer then self-management and control are important things as discussed previously.

The budget is always prepared with only our abilities, blindly and aggressively in gambling it will also cause suffering, we have to see according to our daily income and expenses.

It may not be a trap but those methods is not applicable to anyone since we know how technical whales do their betting and this will never work for all that's wht its good to watch them but following how they cast their bets is not good at all knowing that we may experience big losses from those actions. If we are small bettor we should stick to the planned capital and never try to be greedy enough to seek for more bigger win since this coupd ignite the fire to lose more money.
2269  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Crypto Bank on: April 17, 2022, 02:39:06 PM
If institutional bankers will make this idea into reality and give decent percentage return per anum then most provably I will tryst them because we know they are trusted since they are been regulated by the law. But if random people will create this and they are just known online well maybe I doubt I will use their service because scamming is not new on crypto and might they used that if this idea became successful.
2270  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone still use this website? on: April 17, 2022, 11:54:31 AM
In all honesty, I'd never heard of that platform. I guess it was popular before my time.
their forum was never popular and I'm sure the people who post there are only interested in their "pay per post". you would have seen their signature campaign for cryptotalk if YOBIT didn't sneakily change their signature to advertise their exchange instead of their forum.
As what I remember and saw, the topics there are just duplicates from this forum, keeping in mind that it was a pay per post, a spam is obviously piled up. After the campaign stops the website turns dead and become ghost like it was only created for the pay per post campaign, and nothing much more happen, just a waste of money.
Well, it was made from yobit funds -> from their shit token scams, it will be considered as not a loss to them.

Many spammers there do copy a topic here and paste on that for for the sake of farming more satoshi. And that's a huge mistake they made because there users is not generally there to support them and all of people who try to use that forum is just for the pay per post.

Yobit made this forum because they are struggling to launch their campaign here because there reputation is so bad and I guess they didn't earn anything for doing this method because I think they fail by looking at their current status as well with the forum they created.
2271  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 17, 2022, 10:44:31 AM
Hello, regarding my accusations from previous post that a large number of winning bets are voided.

I didn't disappear, I just didn't have time. It is strange to me that none of you have ever had voided sports bet on this so-called bookmaker. The photo below is my last bet with them, of course winning and of course void.

If you are still suspecting Roobet has something to do with it, you have to post all the proof of the void bet. There must be some pattern if they are truly scamming you, which it's unlikely. Posting all the proof may also inform others who maybe have the same bet as you did, to see whether they also got void or not.

If I see many people posting the same issue here well maybe it can convince us that there's something wrong with Roobet but since this claims doesn't have enough proof so I will find this claim shady. We are aware about other competitor destroying the reputation of their rivals or a successful casino so we expect more better proof so that people will be convince that this issue exist on their platform.
2272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA had a potential like Ethereum on: April 16, 2022, 11:58:15 PM
Currently many projects are incorporated in the ADA network system and while Defi and NFT are growing rapidly in Crypto so the ADA network is one of the platforms that provides a good space, however the price on ADA has peaked last year and now the price has fallen so deep that if we want to buy coins maybe now is the right time because the price has fallen quite deep. And speaking of Ethereum-like potential, it looks like ADA isn't ready to compete with Ethereum yet.

I wouldn't dare go invest on ADA anymore, I have waited for almost 4 years and all I got was a 30 percent lost. I did not know what to do with it anymore so I have converted it to Bitcoin rather than any other coins. Good thing I was able to get a 70 percent of my initial buy. If it was as they say, potentially in comparable with eth, how come it isn't worth the price like it should be. Well it is thousands of dollars worth each while ADA is lurking around a dollar and hardly moving on.

This is what people need to wake up since thinking about much on certain coins like this will just turn their hopes into dismay. I'm sure their past holders didn't get much believing it will get the same impact with ethereum, maybe it will take long because majority of investors are more focus on bitcoin and ethereum itself so I guess those people who continuous to hold will wait for more years before they can see the great changes on their portfolio's.
2273  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: What can we Do to Reduce Ponzi scheme? on: April 16, 2022, 01:53:27 PM
...N/B: not all Ponzi scheme are actually  scam intended!

The Ponzi Scheme by default is a fraud, since the scheme itself of paying old participants at the expense of investments of new participants always leads to the loss of money of those who were the last to join this scheme. No matter how long this scheme works, it always ends the same way - investors lose their money.

That's how people lose their money because they believe if the platform continuously pays they will not call it a scam but unfortunately all of them using this scheme is totally scam. It's just they consistently get a new investor that's why this scheme continue, but for sure in the long run we can see the same ending with those other ponzi scam so we need to be aware and better not to invest on any ponzi schemes.
2274  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A blind investor's confession on: April 16, 2022, 10:13:35 AM
Don't be too emotional with the altcoins and meme coins, they're really going to put you through hype but eventually will leave you and will be stuck in the midst of it leaving you at great loss.
The most common happened in all newbies out there, they actually lure on the hyped coin knowing that those coins actually exist because of the hype not the utility of the project.  Newbies should know this, don't dive into it easily without proper research, or much better stick to the top cryptocurrencies which give the potential of gaining profit.

New investors should not think only about profit in the short term because it's very risky for them, just go for the long-term investment which is considered safe for them.  But at least OP learned from those mistakes and it might this will not happen again, experience is the best teacher as they said.

Sometimes those people who promote some coins on social media groups is one of the main reason why there are newbies got scam by those devs who doesn't do anything good to anyone here. And this is one of many reason why those newbies got affected by many scams. We know there are so many stories posted about this issues but the unfortunate thing there is mostly those newbies who get scam are lazy to do some research to find out the legitimacy of the project they are looking on.
2275  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐FoggyStar⭐ Cryptocurrency Casino🔥100% Signup Bonus🏆||Easter Contest on: April 15, 2022, 11:02:21 PM
100% deposit bonus can be tempting and enticing, yet it is also something that can deter many players from deciding to play. Often there are towering requirements attached to it and the experienced gamblers are well aware of this and that will deter these players. In my opinion it is better to work without any form of a deposit bonus. You could then consider offering a free bet on a first bet just to name a few. The idea of a signature campaign is very powerful on the forum.

Signature campaign will be helpful for new platforms but they need to establish first their presence around but what I think most important before running all of this is promotions and contest to establish something cool phase to the gamblers and make them enjoy on what they offer. After this backing it up with signature campaign would help them maximize their exposure here in forum.
2276  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: online escrow scams? on: April 15, 2022, 01:32:20 PM
The fraudster sends an e-mail to an unsuspecting job seeker who has posted a resume on HotJobs, Monster, or a similar site. The e-mail may indicate the job seeker is perfect for a “National Accounts Manager” position acting on behalf of a group of “independent distributors, well-known in Europe selling electronics,” who want to enter the U.S. market. The job seekers use their bank account to receive funds and wire proceeds from the “large equipment sales” to the “company headquarters” overseas, usually in Latvia, Estonia, Romania, or Cyprus. The job seeker then keeps 8% of the transferred funds as his commission.

Other job seekers are recruited and paid to forward merchandise to con artists. This job seeker, hired as a middleman, forwards the package overseas. The scammed seller receives nothing for the merchandise.

I'm not sure what you're asking for here. Escrow service or you just complain to one of the well-known fraud schemes.
Do online job search platforms not have their escrow integrated inside, why not use them if everything is legal?

there are a lot im not sure which .... i was asking for something someone here use

The escrows aavaible on this forum is trusted one
(₿ LIST ₿ Bitcointalk's ESCROW providers: Ranking & Blacklist ☠ Avoid Scam ☠) and usually the trusted escrow person do not scam. However, if you are looking for onlince escrows, then there is no grantee if the escorw are legit or not. Sadly, people make the escorw companies to scam both the parties.

well if its from bitcointalk its safe to me !! i will try them with my clients thank you very much

We still can't guarantee even if we are in Bitcointalk money can change the mind of the people so if you are dealing with large amount of money better split it up on multiple trusted member to avoid any unfortunate scamming events. We know this is hassle but as long as our money is safe we shouldn't mind it.
2277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: April 15, 2022, 10:52:41 AM
It is that crypto.com has been entering in a very stealthy way but in a strong way, it is impressive, but even in the UFC they are also there and those who are winners give them a bonus as bonuses in BTC and this helps a lot, because first it gives a lot motivation for the boxers and secondly, it makes the entire community see that they are fans of the BTC issue and this will cause curiosity in those who do not know and why not? It is NOT necessary to rule out a possible entry of demand to the market causing the price of BTC to rise.
The weird thing is crypto.com has spent so much money in advertisement and for some reason they are still not at the very top, no idea why. If you look at the CMC rankings of spot exchanges you will see that crypto.com is 11th right now.

I do not know how legit those numbers are and if they are at 11th or higher or lower, but I am sure that they are not too far off from that spot. If they are spending tens of millions of dollars every year on ads and sponsorship like this, then why are they not getting to at least top 5 if not at the top level? Didn't we learn more about the fact that we just get more if we spend money on marketing? If it is not to be in top 5, then what is it? Like what does Kraken do that Crypto.com doesn't and still end up higher than them?

Each trading platform has its own views on promotion and it does not depend on the trading volumes on the platform. If Crypto.com uses promotion through sponsorship contracts and interaction with sports in its strategy, it doesn't mean that everyone else should follow this trend. Someone arranges giveaways for their existing users, someone reduces commissions on the site, someone invests in blockchain development. All of these initiatives are good for the crypto community.

Other think about that those platform should follow crypto.com did, but honestly each platform have different tactics the way they promote their website and its good thing that they compete by doing multiple promotion and hit more bigger crowd because in the end of the day we as the crypto user will get the benefit if they accumulate new people which doesn't know about crypto.
2278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A blind investor's confession on: April 15, 2022, 09:16:58 AM
After all the gold rush now I've made up my mind to start learning from scratch, I've come to realize that you can't take risk on everything without fully understanding what you are taking risk on, I made some mistakes that I want to share and I need some guidance, pls help me.

1. I have the money but not the knowledge of picking the right coins to invest money on.

2. I bought a lot of altcoins because they are new, thinking I will make better money from those projects but almost all turned to exit scam right in front of me.

3. Doge coin bringing huge profits to holders got into me and I thought every meme coins will do the same thing.

Most of my money are gone through fake meme coins and now after a few search online I came to know that meme coins aren't even important at all, dogecoin just receive a favour from Elon musk is all, please I need help.

This learnings from what you experience is good to mirror already for your next action you made upon investing. For now since you are picking up yourself and trying to learn things I think what most better to do right now is to study how top coins flow then research more information what you can possibly see that can contribute for its possible pump so that you will be on your best position if you want to buy something. Also learn to read the chart trader should know this and this is one of our best indicator for our possible next action.
2279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 14, 2022, 10:12:04 PM
Boston Vs. Brooklyn in East.
Do you think it's wise to take the Nets to win the series against the Boston?
They are now 2.09 at my bookie.

It is, If you didn't notice, Kyrie has been very efficient with his game nowadays.
A healthy Nets would destroy the Celtics and won't reach game 7.
However, nothing is guaranteed though, no matter how strong a team on the paper. Team work and team chemistry wins the game.
But you should take the Nets to win the series though lol.
Whoever is the better team when it comes to defense will win the series and I think that's the Celtics. It's quite easy to pick the Nets because of the two superstars KD and Kyrie but I don't think the Celtics are that far behind.

There were rumors that Simmons could return for the first round. He's good at defense but I don't know about chemistry. It's probably a bad idea to let him join the team at this stage.

But I guess the experience on playoffs is one of the factor can make them stands and since both Kyrie and Durant is very much experience guys in this season then most provably they will not get affected on playoffs pressure and as well I think we can see a different Kyrie on that match up because he is playing with his former team which we know they didn't end well so maybe we can see some great play from him since he want to prove something to Celtics.
2280  Economy / Economics / Re: Pay in rubles or have your gas shut off by April on: April 14, 2022, 01:36:20 PM
Putin is taking advantage of how much the Europeans need for the Russian gas and oil isn't compromised by the standing sanction. And this is a perfect strategy to awaken the slowly diminishing roubles.  I understand Putin is ensuring the Russian economy still stand tall despite the invasion and the irreplaceable desire for natural resources will still keep the Russian boarders open giving them the opportunity to demand their choice of payment gateway

This is how you counter those sanction imposed to them and Putin is doing a right thing since from this they can .ame their economy more stronger even if the sanctions has not lifted out yet. Also as Russia is one of major distributer of some important products for sure many country will still do a business with them since its a huge loss for anyone if they ride with those sanctions and curse russia for what they do.
