Well if you are comparing any coin with bitcoin, then yes, they are as good as dead. but if thats not the case then no its not dying. its doing fine in its own bracket and the same is true for almost all the non-scam coins.

Well. The hardware mining seems obsolete with the difficulty level going so high for almost all the worthy coins. the electricity bill overflows the profits earned from mining and other hardware maintenance charges put it to serious negative side. So i am actually looking for something new, something more technical rather then just switching on a rig.

There are rumours that alot of congestion is causing the delay. i don't play with ethereum but just telling u about the rumors that i heard.

How good is bitmain company ?

Seems a good project.. there are a few checks that needs to be met before i consider a project a cool one and this seems to fill most of those check quiet nicely...
