Does this mean if I order a miner I declare what the value of the item is?
Yes that is what you need to declare for the item entering your country. That is what customs will look into as you pay tax and duty and items imported. [/quote] so @ andytranter if you are in Europe and buy 2000 usd worth of gear this means they report the value at 2000 usd and you would need pay VAT maybe 400 usd more. PM me if you need further explanation.

citronick are you running the Biostar TB250 with the integrated GPU as your primary display? Without it as primary display and not setting in BIOS for GPU to be "UEFI" it doesn't recognize all the GPU's in Win10.
TB250 = 12 GPUs no? Windows limits to 8 x GPUs I believe, unless you use Windows Advanced Server with special drivers for beyond 8 x GPU. I have 6 of those 12 GPU rigs (RX-470s G3s) on Biostar 250s, and all are on smOS Linux (GPU limit 15 as per Tytanick). All rigs are set to onboard video out and Gen2 for all slots in BIOS. Yeah all the supersized mobos should use a linux build.

there are better cpu's on pcie cards.
if you do 1070's and do 70% tdp you are pulling 1000 watts on 7 pcie cables that is 143 watts a cable not ideal.
if that 70% tdp unlocks and goes to 100% you jump to 200 watts a cable and 1400 watts on the psu.
This motherboard may well be suitable for P106s, 1060, RX470, RX570 type GPUs - I doubt that the higher end GPUs can push up to 9 slots. I have asked the supplier what GPUs are installed in the "full systems" - waiting for some info from him... I also wonder how close the CPU board will be to the video cards. looking at it there are 9 gpu slots and the cpu slot is color blue. I think 8 1070's leave the one next to the cpu empty. set at 70% tdp 105 watts a card x 8 = 840 watts under 40 for the rest 880 watts dc / 7 = 125 watts a cable if tdp decides to jump to 100% 1240 watts/7 = 177 watts a cable my thoughts are this makes a really good rig for 8 water block 1070's clocked to 70% tdp 140 + core -700 memory mine zec I can clock to -800 to -1000 ram on smos and get good 1070 numbers with the water blocks. practically silent ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FBzoJYnk.png&t=664&c=G9waUW5Koj1PgQ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FmBhOq3k.png&t=664&c=JihNKXqz6gskiA) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F5AbqhI3.png&t=664&c=kFO1B0LNJFvDjg)

I just did a reset of CGminer to default and started the miner with -2 setting. I will send a new screenshot after few hours, but in the meantime, pls take a look at the image if you can spot any problem. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fdrive.google.com%2Ffile%2Fd%2F0B9NWjdgjoBrWU3FqN3lXSTdsbUk%2Fview&t=664&c=tVT-EhMtNIo4og) don't know 45 seconds is meaningless time frame. looks like you are not hashing but 45s is too short of a time frame to have any meaning now if it is 20 minutes and you are at zero hash something is wrong.

All this hacks are giving me the blues.... lets move on to happy things like our quest for that 9 x slot riser-less rig. My supplier just sent me the DHL tracking number - hope this board arrives fro me to play with it in the weekend. 395$ 9 slot PCI with a compute PCI blade and some cables. 45$ for 3-day DHL shipping service Ordered 1 x set only for testing. The mobo needs 7+9=16 x pcie 6 pin power .... depending on GPUs power requirements, you may need another Delta or server PSU for the GPUs... I guess we will find out this weekend. OS to be installed on USB: smOS Linux RAM: 4GB (hope this is enough) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FQUHfvLu.png&t=664&c=QOypmZJMz8ed7w) Mobo ---CPU: Intel Broadwell-u3215/3205 ---Installed Memory: 1X50-Dimm ddr3L 1.35V (not included the ddr) ---SSD: 1XmSATA port (not included the SSD) ---Ethernet:1X Gigabit, Intel I210-AT ---USB port : 2Xusb2.0 ---HDMI port: 1X HDMI from CUP ---Dimension: 212X106mmPci-e solt board ---9Xpci-e 16 2.0 1 for Graphic card ---7X6PIN FOR Mobo ---2X3pin for case cooling ---1Xpci-e 16 X for CPU card ---9X6pin for Graphic card ---Dimension: 520X216mmThis board looks awesome. I wonder if they make different compute sticks for it so you can upgrade to a different single board computer. It sounds like 9 of the PCIe pins are power out and only 7 of them are power in which would worry me a bit unless I'm reading it wrong but of course you could just power the video cards direct from your PSU. there are better cpu's on pcie cards. if you do 1070's and do 70% tdp you are pulling 1000 watts on 7 pcie cables that is 143 watts a cable not ideal. if that 70% tdp unlocks and goes to 100% you jump to 200 watts a cable and 1400 watts on the psu.

What is the point of saving money on a couple video cards when people are just giving it to you instead?
fast math is 3 x 700 = 2100 retail price his math is 3 x 400= 1200 + 700 = 1900 so you save 200 bucks if you knew you wanted 10 cards 10 x 700 = 7000 10 x 400 = 4000 + 700 = 4700 this would be pretty good if it was real. but if you really can get cards at 400 why no get 20 x 400 = 8000 and then sell at 550 = 11000 so I ask you op why not get 20 yourself

I recently purchased a new Avalon 741. After completing configuration and starting the first few test runs, i realized that it’s producing a very low mining speed (around 500GHs only). Whereas it is expected to produce far more speed upto 7THs and maybe higher.
I tried with multiple types of pools such as slushpool, kano and nicehash, but none of it could produce anything beyond the average speed of 500-600GHs. I don’t know if I am doing something wrong or if issing anything here, but everything seems to be normal in terms of the settings. For example, the network latency to slushpool and nicehash is around 30ms.
Did anyone faced the same issue with Avalon miners to help troubleshoot and fix this problem? maybe some settings in the CGminer software that I am not aware of?
show us a proper gui of at least a two hour test run. here are 2 avalons running correctly . using -2 setting ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F6EVcuXb.png&t=664&c=iUyakMKftefgEw)

oh man - sorry to hear about your account generalt - I recall my first time on Bitcointalk, reading your posts in the A2 thread 2 years ago.
I have changed my BTC address several times over the 2 years (probably not a good idea to do this) and regularly change passwords too (good practice but wont stop the bad guys)
How I get increase my chances of getting my account back if my account gets hacked?
Would a Donator status or earn positive trusts points get me protected ? How do I do this?
Thanks citronick and I'm back!!! I've learned a lot from you and Phil. It was actually with one of Phil's post that got me me account back just by being himself! I won one of his guess the difficulty change games and in that post he made the payment to a BTC address that I still had control of. I just had to send a BTC signed message with my account, the email address and today's day as well as a link to that post of my BTC address and just wait. Eventually Cyrus restored the email to my account and I feel whole again. So basically it is always good to have your BTC address that you can sign messages from quoted somewhere. Make sure that it is one that you have control of and can sign messages with. I don't think you can do it with addresses from exchanges. 1GENERALrtBAjEv2Ps5cmEW1FADnXh1bCZ ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) yeah you have to have a core wallet also blockchain.info wallet works this is my forever address had it for years https://blockchain.info/address/1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtjebut if I ever get hack the hacker could delete tons on info just to fuck with my head. and I did so many deals it would be a freaking mess.. oh back to projects I am going to build 4 of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JP5OQKA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?https://www.amazon.com/EK-CoolStream-SE-480-Slim-Quad/dp/B013XADBYK/ref=sr_1_2?

I will lift the neg trust I posted This is my really long term address 1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtje this is my secondary account judypug1956 I truly fear getting hacked on this site. I am glad it was fixed.

Just wanted to show you guys my first Vega64 mining rig. Supposed to be 8 x Vega 64, but one of them was not stable, had too many crashes/hangs, have to return it tomorrow. After some days of struggling (RAM was also broken), I managed to start my rig only with a ATX PSU, so currently I have Delta PSU powering GPU's and a borrowed Enermax 1700W ATX PSU powering the MB and SSD. Rig with 7 x Vega64: Power at wall: Hashrate for XMR with xmr-stak-amd miner (for some reasons on only 4 I could activate HBCC so 4 are hashing with ~1800h/s and 3 with ~1400h/s): Thanks a lot all of you for helping me ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) May want to consider splitting this into 2 rigs so you get full hashrate on all the cards I may consider, but I have now a 2400 W PSU... it's a pity to leave it just for 4 cards ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ) you realize that psu can run 2 mobos with 2 pico psu's
