Just wanted to show you guys my first Vega64 mining rig. Supposed to be 8 x Vega 64, but one of them was not stable, had too many crashes/hangs, have to return it tomorrow. After some days of struggling (RAM was also broken), I managed to start my rig only with a ATX PSU, so currently I have Delta PSU powering GPU's and a borrowed Enermax 1700W ATX PSU powering the MB and SSD. Hashrate for XMR with xmr-stak-amd miner (for some reasons on only 4 I could activate HBCC so 4 are hashing with ~1800h/s and 3 with ~1400h/s): Thanks a lot all of you for helping me From what I understand it is a driver issue with the Vegas that only 4 cards will run full speed on a system.

Are you still working at getting generalt account back? I posted a negative trust with a narrative.

I'm still trying to get my original account back. I've sent theymos a PM with a signed message from a BTC address associated with that account but I have not heard back from him at all. I'm not sure if he just plans on ignoring it or if he's just busy with other things and unfortunately there's not much else I can do other than wait. It might sound weird, but I just don't feel myself without that account lol. This has opened my eyes to a trezor though. I have one trezor and one ledger nano s on order. It also led me to this article about the trezor and keepkey and the ST32F05 chip. https://medium.com/@Zero404Cool/trezor-security-glitches-reveal-your-private-keys-761eeab03ff8 It's a few months old so probably old news for most but make sure you're running the latest firmware. I'm not sure if the Ledger Nano S uses that chip as well but on their website it says it uses the ST31/STM32.

Would a Donator status or earn positive trusts points get me protected ? How do I do this?

@tytanick (author of smos) get his account hacked a few months ago. i thought he got his account back fairly quick, like a couple weeks, maybe less? not sure what he did to get it back so quickly, or at least quickly compared to others who have waited months, even after signing messages with account associated btc addys.
btw there is a thread just for posting btc addys then others quote your addy. i have posted a couple of mine in it.

It was me indeed. After a lot of noise, pm's to several mods that sent me back and forth, a nice admin called Cyrus actually helped me and restored my account. Make sure you pm him with your signed message and everything asked for in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0All in all it took me a week to get it acknowledged and done. Keep pestering, write a forum thread about it in the META section and hope for the best.

Thanks citronick and I'm back!!! I've learned a lot from you and Phil. It was actually with one of Phil's post that got me me account back just by being himself! I won one of his guess the difficulty change games and in that post he made the payment to a BTC address that I still had control of. I just had to send a BTC signed message with my account, the email address and today's day as well as a link to that post of my BTC address and just wait. Eventually Cyrus restored the email to my account and I feel whole again. So basically it is always good to have your BTC address that you can sign messages from quoted somewhere. Make sure that it is one that you have control of and can sign messages with. I don't think you can do it with addresses from exchanges. 1GENERALrtBAjEv2Ps5cmEW1FADnXh1bCZ

All this hacks are giving me the blues.... lets move on to happy things like our quest for that 9 x slot riser-less rig. My supplier just sent me the DHL tracking number - hope this board arrives fro me to play with it in the weekend. 395$ 9 slot PCI with a compute PCI blade and some cables. 45$ for 3-day DHL shipping service Ordered 1 x set only for testing. The mobo needs 7+9=16 x pcie 6 pin power .... depending on GPUs power requirements, you may need another Delta or server PSU for the GPUs... I guess we will find out this weekend. OS to be installed on USB: smOS Linux RAM: 4GB (hope this is enough) Mobo ---CPU: Intel Broadwell-u3215/3205 ---Installed Memory: 1X50-Dimm ddr3L 1.35V (not included the ddr) ---SSD: 1XmSATA port (not included the SSD) ---Ethernet:1X Gigabit, Intel I210-AT ---USB port : 2Xusb2.0 ---HDMI port: 1X HDMI from CUP ---Dimension: 212X106mmPci-e solt board ---9Xpci-e 16 2.0 1 for Graphic card ---7X6PIN FOR Mobo ---2X3pin for case cooling ---1Xpci-e 16 X for CPU card ---9X6pin for Graphic card ---Dimension: 520X216mm

I got an Antminer S9 on the way. ParallelMiner is oos on the Delta 2400W PSU kit for the S7/S9 (and all other Delta 2400's atm). Their Antminer PSU kits come with those black and while 6 pin cables where their GPU comes with the black and yellow 6+2 pin cables.
I have a very underutilized Delta 2400W PSU (only has a 400W load on it). So until I get a dedicated Delta 2400 for the S9, can I power it from this PSU using the black and yellow cables just leaving that 2-pin unconnected on the S9 side?

I am assuming the CPU will be a lottery - and depends what I will get on the compute PCI card. I have 64GB msata and 4gb DDR3 sodimms, from the ONDA 6-slot mobo project. These Kingspec 64gb msata needs to be formatted - so I used the USB3-mSata adapters from the Pandaminer project not too long ago. I think I will get the R9-390, R9- Fury Nano, RX480s and RX470s rigs migrated to these boards and further increase the density of the GPU farm.

Hi guys, i need help with my rig. Long story short, I have 5 cards instead of 6 showing in windows and i don't know why. I don't want to hijack the thread so here is the link to the topic I made with more details, if some of you can drop by and offer wisdom, it would be much appreciated. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2247989.new#newi'm off but i'll read when i get back in a few hours. Ty guys This worked on my Zotac P106 x 6, on older H81 mobo. Before only 4-5 GPUs were recognized using latest NVIDIA drivers - then again, risers are probably also the likely culprit Apply this P106 specific NVIDIA package - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-_jcpU1s5dgejJJZzBTWVFJYzQ/view?usp=sharingYou can push it to core 100, mem 800, PL 99 to achieve ETH 22-23MHs small update here, got the 6 cards showing, i installed your driver (same ones as i have on my computer to mine with my 1060 6G) I got others issues but fixed it. Now, i have a new problem. Miner is not stable and it seems i can't OC to what you advise me to do. here is the problem: when i let the rig on and mining, at one point i get this : http://imageshack.com/a/img924/8324/GOew4p.jpgand/or this : http://imageshack.com/a/img922/1346/KgYv9J.pngIt's hard to screen because when miner crashes, it's laggy as fuck. It takes me like 3 to 5 minutes just to save the screenshot... next time i'm gonna use my phone and take pictures of my screen like a fucking retard , way faster than waiting for nothing. I read driver error somewhere (not showing on the screen i think). One time it lasted 4 hours, next time not even 30 minutes. Do you have any idea what to do? hmmm... on smOS, the rig is running 2 days straight with full OC (but XMR mining, 406watts last time I check) Are you ETH mining? Dual or Single? for P106 - I think best to get to do ETH only (no dual mining). Can you try non-OC settings 150 core, 500 mem and PL 65 ? So hadn't much time to get into it last few days. i'm eth mining. single. cards Gigabyte 1060 6G OC Windforce Hynix mem I tried mining Zcash getting more or less 290 sols/card without any tweaking and it's stable. I Let it run for a day and not a single problem. when I tried eth hashrate was dropping and finaly crashing, i was at PL 70 core -200, -100, +100 (tried a few to see if it changed anything, answer is not from what i saw) and mem+500. I tried +100 +800 = crash -200 +600 = crash anytime i try to go above +500, it seems it's not stable and eventualy crashes (real pain in the ass, btw) Since i got no problem whatsoever with PSU when running Zcash, i guess it must be the GPU/drivers that are the issue? Even with hynix mem i should be able to OC them to get 22Mh on eth i think. I up my post from a few days ago. Been mining Zcash since i posted it, stable at 1725 Sol/s. (is it possible to get better hashrate for Zcash btw? and lowering the power cost?)

OS to be installed on USB: smOS Linux RAM: 4GB (hope this is enough) Mobo ---CPU: Intel Broadwell-u3215/3205 ---Installed Memory: 1X50-Dimm ddr3L 1.35V (not included the ddr) ---SSD: 1XmSATA port (not included the SSD) ---Ethernet:1X Gigabit, Intel I210-AT ---USB port : 2Xusb2.0 ---HDMI port: 1X HDMI from CUP ---Dimension: 212X106mmPci-e solt board ---9Xpci-e 16 2.0 1 for Graphic card ---7X6PIN FOR Mobo ---2X3pin for case cooling ---1Xpci-e 16 X for CPU card ---9X6pin for Graphic card ---Dimension: 520X216mmThis board looks awesome. I wonder if they make different compute sticks for it so you can upgrade to a different single board computer. It sounds like 9 of the PCIe pins are power out and only 7 of them are power in which would worry me a bit unless I'm reading it wrong but of course you could just power the video cards direct from your PSU.
