2281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is you blackjack strategy when you have 12,14,16 Numbers in your hand? on: May 26, 2020, 06:49:06 PM
Quote
So what is the strategy you use in these cases?

As an old and active blackjack (21) player, I would like to share my tactics that I have been using for a long time and that have enabled me to win continuously. Remember, the only way to make a profit in gambling is to claim your will and there is no guarantee of any tactics or methods! With this method that I use, you will have the opportunity to earn a little higher probability than other methods or games based on chance by owning your own will. In order to make it easier to explain, I want to explain it with sample figures;
In our first game, we bet with an amount of 2-5% of our safe. After determining this percentage according to our own decision, we start the game and demand new cards until the amount of cards we have is 17. When the current number reaches 17, we don't want any other cards and we wait for the cashier to open the cards. The number here is not necessarily clear 17, the player may not want a new card at points such as 15-16-17-18 at any point he wishes. In this way, we increase our earnings rate and do not take much risk. So what if we lose? We will place our next bet twice as much as our previous bet, and when we win this bet, we will compensate for our previous loss. Of course, besides this phone, 25% gain will be achieved. In short, I am trying to set the number I have close to 17 or 17 and I keep getting new cards until I reach this number. I also apply the Martingale system, as I mentioned, when I play earnings-oriented.

nice . didnt know that martingale method can also be applied on blackjack  .
There are so much of a situation in gambling where you can play with martingale system, you just need to cope with the odds that you are winning for example the chances are 40% to 60%, martingale method works perfectly on this percentage and guarantee a profit.

the reason why is i didnt know is because i cant see the autobet option on the site that i play  while im not sure on other sites .  if i have the numbers mentioned above  let say 16  , i will doubt if i hold or pick more card  .  also depends on the dealers card   . but for numbers 12 and 14 i always play for more cards  , i won most of the time tho but this game can change sometimes   .
I don't want to play with autobet system, it defeats the purpose of winning for me at the same time the entertainment you want (if you do) will just be as same as sleeping. In blackjack the safes range (for me ) is 15 to 18, if you draw another card that exceeds 7 to 4 probably 30 cards in the deck there is a high chance that you lose that certain play. I love receiving a 10, it keeps you safe from any of unwanted high cards.
2282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 26, 2020, 05:57:21 PM
Different people have different taste and we can't exactly say where they find peace. I will not so wonder if anyone keep him engage on gambling to avoid mental pain or frustration but in most cases results will be destructive. As far as i know professional gamblers love to play with  refreshing mind and supportive atmosphere. Specially they  try to keep their family or personal issues far from their profession.
Most of people are gambling because of the entertainment, after a tiring day at work or school it is the best stress reliever for them. There are times that you don't want to open up with other people so you'll just sit there and relax play some games and there will be subliminal effects on your mind easing your tiredness. There are small portion of the gambling world that affects the mental situation of a person, physiological capacity in gambling is a factor too.

So if anyone choose gambling to keep him far from problem then he should get ready to face much more new problems in a few days for sure. Its better to leave gambling when you think you are not in the driving seat.
It really depends on how you drive yourself, as I said physiological capacity is a factor so if anyone gets into gambling he/she should know the boundaries and and the limits of spending and getting so much interested to it. If you came for entertainment money won't be a problem either small or big.

Escape isn't the right way to solve problems, just face them wisely and bravely as a man.
Absolutely right.
I agree, but gambling isn't escaping at all, it is just a sort of resting from your problems, refreshing the mind to make better decisions. And I don't think it's bad at all.

2284  Economy / Economics / Re: WHO encourages use of digital payments due to COVID19 on: May 23, 2020, 08:19:35 PM
Guys calm down, yes bitcoin is a digital payment platform but not all digital payments are bitcoin, there are plenty of other methods. For example right now banks are working overtime on making app payments a lot more common and adopted. That way the machines you use for credit card payments will show some sort of QR code that was generated, and with the QR code that generates you open your bank app on your phone and will be paying it. It is already happening here a bit more often, there is also cards that you do not even touch to pay and so forth.

Basically digital payments doesn't equal to bitcoin, just calm down. Millions of people literally learned to buy the grocery needs online as well, so right now we are even one more step closer to just buying everything online.

Yes, when we say digital transactions, not everyone will think of cryptocurrency. But because of this fear of getting affected by the virus, some people are already learning how to use e-wallets and other payment apps, which is a good stepping stone for digital payments. It gives more chances for cryptocurrency to be recognized because people are now adapting to digital payment. Maybe not now, but sooner cryptocurrency can also be an option by most people when it comes to transactions.
It doesn't tell any direct relation with the cryptocurrency though we are talking digital payments however cryptocurrency is broad part of digital payment, actually it is the half of that since we only have digital fiat currency and cryptocurrency. Thus this will help to promote the cryptocurrency too with ease as most of people are turning digital now from basic transaction to online banking since there is a present heath concern and it's not that vague that people will get interested with cryptocurrency too.

I have hope that the recognition of cryptocurrency will grow more after this. Until now, we are still facing the same issue and we are not sure until when we will have to continue living with this virus. If people are already practicing "new normal" ways of living, it's also better if they could also learn to use digital payment methods.
It will going to, definitely. As doctors and scientists are studying this virus, I've read in a news that it might be a normal viral disease and it will become common even they develop a vaccine like measles and rubella, with this, there is a huge chance of digital payment system to be more active than ever.
2285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Analyst: "Covid-19 Could Spur More States to Legalize Online Casino" on: May 23, 2020, 06:49:49 PM

Do you agree the government will legalize online gambling? If yes, will traditional (land) casinos survive?

Of course traditional casinos will survive. The reason for this is because Casinos depend on tourists rather then the locals in an area. They will be able to move from place to place, tourist spot to tourist spot, casino to casino and be able to experience the thrill of the game. Of course they need to follow protocols given by the government to ensure safety in this pandemic period.
I might no agree to this, maybe what you are referring to is the casino is famous states like LA, Vegas, Cali, etc. coz base on my personal experience every time I go a casino I always see the same faces especially the older guys in tucked in polo shirt, chubby belly and a mustache lol. But tourist also add as a factor of a crowd especially in the said cities where gambling entertainment is one of the chamber of their economy's heart. Too bad we got a pandemic this year, its been months since I haven't got outside to play.
Also traditional casinos bring money into the government coffers and in turn use it for government projects that help people. Online gambling in my opinion is a totally different ballgame altogether. Anybody can join online casinos and also I think it is high time for the online casinos to be legalized as it is also a money generator for the government.
It's all about money. Have you heard the news about Vegas' mayor trying to reopen the hotel, restaurants, bar and casinos? Coz basically that's the fuel of their economy and won't let it loosen up. The best solution for any gambler now is the online version, highly accessible and have many promotions.

2287  Economy / Economics / Re: Could CBDCs defeat crypto in the long term? on: May 22, 2020, 07:57:14 PM
Definitely, as major countries now are looking for digital currencies, most are making their own is a threat to cryptocurrency. The government will not allow any decentralized body to take over the control on the economy's brain, financial, that will evade everything on their premises. In short, if we are fan of digital decentralized currency they will make a way to promote their own centralized currency, as simple as that.

will CBDCs co-exist with decentralized cryptocurrencies for the foreseeable future?
Since they cannot shut down decentralized entity by any means, it will be a joint forces of centralized and decentralized currencies in the future.

How about you guys? Would you want your transaction to be anonymous and privacy relative or stick with traditional one but digital?
2288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Games on: May 22, 2020, 07:17:49 PM
I voted for BlackJack

Don't get it wrong, crash game is an awesome game but when you want to make yourself more in control of what is happening then it should be table games like blackjack or poker and it needs more of a skill than luck. BUt if you just want to play, get along with or entertainment yourself then you should play dice or crash game, aside there's a high chance winning on this game. I guess it would just vary on the gambler's preference or day mood. Anyways these games are good to relieve the stress you are feeling, gambling is more of just spending pennies.
2289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Physical Gambling Casino Simulation through GTA V on: May 21, 2020, 08:49:25 PM
GTA V is good and a more realistic but since there's a lot of cheat on this game, I don't think playing on a casino is worth it since you can easily make a lot of money. Well, its good for this game if you can really work hard to earn money not just by a cheat and yeah the gambling vibes is good as well.
I barely get your point tho, of course GTA has a cheat codes but if you are going to play casino in GTA V and want to feel the physical vibe as real casino you won't cheat on it like you're bored following the stoplight in it, walking casually without punching a random guys lol. If you really want to feel a realistic vibe, don't cheat. Try to complete missions to get money, then walk in to this casino. Don't forget to dress up like a millionaire  Grin haha
If you really want to experience the happiness and the thrill on gambling then you can choose to play online instead since many online casinos are out there and there's a lot of crypto gambling site designed for online games.
The OP just shared what he found in GTA V, I think he got it for free in EPIC store. You would not see any open casino during this time, so the best option if you really want to gamble is online gambling platform.

I really wanted to play this GTA V for free,, but EPIC says that my account wasn't eligible to get this . idk why, maybe coz  I  already got WWZ for free Sad
2290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: May 21, 2020, 07:29:28 PM
Casino is just for entertainment purposes and not an essential need of any of us it's not worth risking your life just to get a short entertainment with any of those casino out there. What is best that they can do is to transition their casino in online, since that's the only way for people to access the outside world these days. Here in my country, I was glad that the government realizes the help of digital media a couple of weeks back then they were using the house to house method to hand the cash assistance now they are in partnership with digital payment processors. See how this serves a great use? Casinos should hire web developers, programmers etc. to make their online platform and just put their casino brand on it, advertise then that's it!
2291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Receive $300 (30000 CNG tokens) just by registration before May 20 on: May 20, 2020, 08:23:41 PM
Coinsbit used to hold an airdrop with an estimated $ 200 but when the token was listed on the exchange itself and the price was quite high but we as tokens of airdrop cannot be sold even if we can sell it can get $ 200 +, but after the price is so falling to the bottom then the tokens can be sold can this be manipulated by the exchange itself? to be honest I am not so sure the 30k CNG airdrop is $300.

Exactly you're right man.  I have participated in few airdrops hosted by coinsbit, with the stress of KYC and some others, hardly did I get $15 when the coin was listed on the exchange that promised $300 as usual.
You guys must know the terms and condition of the airdrops, for sure there are stated premises since you are just airdrop participants and I'm sure they know how people these days are looking for money especially when it's free. This is a basic tactic to attract investors, sometimes you need more affiliates to get the airdrops at higher price, and most of the time they are not including the rules for airdrop, it will just pop up out of nowhere when someone already complains.

Even the Coinsbit token itself (CNB) did not make up to 15% of what they promised initially.  All those airdrops are just hype and participants should not be too rested on the amount promised.
This is why I stopped searching and wanting for airdrops, it's unlike back then when it was still profitable. What most of the projects are doing right now is just making it all a hype so people will run after it, then they will just forget it all about when it fails. Classic run.
2292  Economy / Economics / Re: MENTAL HEALTH ANG WELLBEING on: May 20, 2020, 07:56:06 PM
You can only have problems from this if you choose to think much and worry yourself about it.
Too much worry about something will definitely increase stress and it is true that the pandemic situation has raised public concern so far. Pandemics are a threat, and the scariest type of threat is death from it. So its a natural thing to worry about, but nevertheless we still have things that can be done positively.

Threats can still be minimized only by obeying all applicable rules, maintaining social distance and wearing masks and promoting a healthy lifestyle. This is a very important protocol, even if there are problems, make sure we still have a way out.
Why won't you think of pandemic as less of itself? man the virus is very contagious so how are you going to minimize the threat brought by it? Especially now that it is clear to all of us that the vaccine may be ready until 2021 for further notice like we need to survive the 2020 to be able to continue living. Best to do now is to follow safety protocols implemented by your local community, as much as possible there is only one person in the family that is allowed to go out. This is kinda off topic for bitcoin community.
2293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi just moved his coins? on: May 20, 2020, 06:21:49 PM
The articles has published an hour ago on cointelegraph. According to them their is 3 possible candidates who would be owner of this address- Satoshi, Hal Fenny & Martti Malmi. Who know if they aren't not alive and this address is controlled by someone from their family?

I was trying to think another person coz we all know that Hal Finney is deceased but then I remember he inherited his bitcoins to his family so there is a possibility that this move was made from Hal's side. There is only a few people that knows bitcoin at that time, so if it wasn't from Hal then it might be from Satoshi Nakamoto himself but I doubt this. And lol, this caused a little panic I guess coz the price just decreased after an hour of us knowing this information.

My personal opinion is, there is huge possibility that this address owner is satoshi.
I really doubt this, but no one can really tell. What a bright side of using bitcoin!

2295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice on becoming a successful trader on: May 19, 2020, 09:02:19 PM
Becoming a successful trader is not easy and you have get more experience with your trading fund lost, maybe many successful trader there lost much money first time before become success and get many trick how to get much profit with trading or investing, they know good time when enter for buying and selling.
The common misconception about trading is that they think a year of learning how to trade will make them better, which is not a good point for me. To be a successful trader, always carry the title "new" why? because the market changes constantly in no particular time which makes the most of us wonder where it could be in the next run. Riding the mass speculation does not guarantee a good return, don't base the success in quantity, instead depend it on the quality. For the last, don't be afraid to fail that's where the most of lesson will come from.
2296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Easiest Way For New Traders To Profit From The Crypto Market on: May 19, 2020, 08:22:36 PM
Copy trading can almost rekt you down so badly that you'll just regret sometimes that you followed someone else rather than trading yourself. You should be wary of the consequences where even the best looking traders may end up wiping out both their and your trading capital. In most cases, traders lose in the long run either through their own decisions or by copying someone else's trades.

I have noticed that if you copy the actions of a successful trader, you will still not have the same result as him. Most often, this happens because you will not enter the transaction at the right time, because the trader first opens the order himself, and then informs others about it.
We all have different paths in life, and so in the trading too. You can copy a trade but that does not guarantee you to make the same success because it will still vary on the market events, and talking about market events this occurred in a very unpredictable way making any trader's decision a unique one. I'd rather lose because I decided it to myself rather than I lose because I tried copying a style, this is where the trader in you would go out.
2297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why the whales want to trade as anonymous on: May 19, 2020, 07:43:17 PM
Because who does not want to? Even me I don't want my identity to be published even I'm a small trader, what more for whales? Aside they are protecting their identity for the very purpose of security and safety. If hackers will know who owns a 100 btc, they will run after him searching for all possible backdoors that's why whales are trading anonymously as much as possible. I believe even the exchanges does not know the real identity of some whales out there, whales might just use the identity of his secretary to pass the KYC. Who knows?
2298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: about whales entering and leaving exchange on: May 19, 2020, 07:14:13 PM
I don't think such data will benefit your trading lifestyle, in fact it might just ruin your game plan in trading why? because a big movement in the market will give you a direct reason to move also. On top of that being alerted to this thing, if it alerts you then most probably it is being executed at the moment, meaning there is a small amount of time or no time to react at all. @Avikz is right,  it's better to trade on your own capacity, try not to rely on this kind of data services or at least be wary.
2299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your Best trading platform is? on: May 19, 2020, 04:55:44 PM
I am still loyal to the Binance exchange because it has many great trading functions. (...)
For sure, the majority will also select Binance. But there are some people also don't like Binance since they also experience some of the features there to some exchanges.
The also good thing in Binance is they got combination of spot trading and margin trading. But there are still some people who much prefer some exchange that only caters margin trading, like Bitmex.
Well we can't deny the fact that binance outperformed many leading exchanges back then, that is why they got so much reputation from their user making them great and at top right now. I often trade to bitmex before totally switching to binance. Bitmex has a margin trading with maximum leverage of 100x while binance added its new 125x leverage that's why I decided to switch. Despite the differences of these exchanges, they are pretty massive now and great to trade with.
2300  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto's economic value is surprisingly low :'( on: May 18, 2020, 05:13:09 PM
with a course of a decade the cryptocurrency is still a little, it may look like we have achieved a lot but we really did not however there is no thing in the world that come up big, we have this so called process to undergo before evolving. What can we do to make the percentage up? I say continue the support to crypto, any support will make a change on the percentage not just with bitcoin. Now we know the main reason why fiat will never be replaced by bitcoin or any other crypto.
