2281  Economy / Gambling / Re: What promotions or contests would you guys like to see on pachinko? on: July 31, 2015, 08:53:31 PM
New boards would be good.   Users betting small amounts often don't mind making long shot bets.    So for example make a board where all payouts are 0 except for one or two slots.   Those 2 slots can pay higher.
2282  Economy / Services / Re: Quickseller Escrow Service [Open] on: July 31, 2015, 08:50:27 PM
Quickseller comes through again.   I have used him several times at this point, and every single time he was thorough and professional.   Thank
2283  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎈 PlinkoPot.com — Off-chain Plinko — <1% House Edge — Custom Payouts on: July 31, 2015, 06:09:13 PM
I will also be including a "Quick Drop" button.

If this feature would be the feature that get you the result instantly then this will be killing the suspense for the game. Basically plinko is known for the suspense of watching the ball drops and having this feature would make it looks like a dice game ( a single click and get result instantly ).
Pretty much not worth it IMO and if someone actually wants to get an instant result then he could always use the betting history pages in moneypot as the result will shown there instantly

On a side note, is Dan a partner of yours or Do you own this site completely? Just wondering because his name is still listed on the staff page

Oh, and thanks to arallmuus for taking the time to make our Jackpot Board.  It is the highest paying board we have.  Up to 999x payout.

2286  Economy / Services / Re: Signature Contest for Plinkopot.com - .1 BTC for the Winner - Escrowed on: July 31, 2015, 04:27:48 PM
I REALLY like that design.    I was under the impression that Full member member sigs could not contain text of different sizes as per this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0.  Can we make sure this works?

Also, the full member sig, can you line the pegs up so they make a pyramid?
Yes it can, since the word of plinkopot in that full member design is not contain any letter, just block character. I will fix the pyramid like you said then  Smiley

Also, can you add color to the member sig?

2289  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎈 PlinkoPot.com — Off-chain Plinko — <1% House Edge — Custom Payouts on: July 30, 2015, 04:45:54 PM
I purchased plinkopot from Dan yesterday.   I will be creating a new thread at some point today.   I will be asking for lots of feedback pertaining to updates.   I will be adding lots of features in the coming weeks.

Some feedback for you, make it like luckybit where we can see the other player bet as well because it is not fun at all to only see your bet and maybe add some colour to the pin there because it is very lack of colour

Actually, both things will be included in the first update I do.   ETA 2 weeks.  I will also be including a "Quick Drop" button.

I dont really understand risk profiles
can you explain it clearly?

Risk Profiles:

    Baby - Multiplier of .45 to 1.5X
    Low - Multiplier of .2 TO 2X
    Medium - Multiplier of .05 to 2.5x
    High - Multiplier of .05 to 3x
    YOLO - Multiplier of .05 to 4x

Better try this site using faucet to understand better about risk profile because these are already explained by OP.

I am not sure they are explained.  Or if they are then I am stupid lol.  So, how does your chance of winning change?  I can see the multiplier is different, but why not just choose the highest payout?  Maybe I am just not reading it right.

OP explained that it is based on the number rolled in the second post.

I am selling my gold poker mavens license as I no longer need it.   The retail price of this license is $500.  I am selling it for $250 in BTC at the time of the sale.   I will auto-forward update links for the life of the product.

I will also be trying to sell https://allincrypto.com with this license included, so if that sells first, this license will no longer be available.

I don't even know what to think of this.   Both slightly confused as to how you came up with it and intrigued because I want to play.    I'm going to flip a coin and make a bet based on that.
2299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: July 27, 2015, 05:59:15 PM
I used to play dice because i thought i could make profit, stable profit from it, obviously i was wrong, you can't win in the long term, that was my only purpose of playing dice, other than that i do not find it fun or entertaining unless im winning money, i would not play dice if money was not involved, so my question is, why people still play? Im sure 90% of people know what your odds are and that strategies don't work, what is their purpose? Do you guys really have fun playing dice? Watching a number appear on the screen?

Casinos are in business to make money, but the truth is, they are gambling too.   Especially bitcoin casinos.  A) All it takes is 1 person to win a large long shot bet for them to be down and B) many casinos operate with a fairly large hotwallet.   That wallet by nature of it being online puts it in a position to get hacked.
2300  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Bitcoin wallets goes down ? on: July 27, 2015, 05:21:39 AM
Don't forget that anything that runs in electricity can go down. That's a scary part about Bitcoin, it doesn't survive a societal breakdown where ppl are "off the grid". What happens to the block chain in that scenario?

It brings new meaning to "cold storage"!

I'm pretty sure that retrieving my private keys will be the least of my worries in such a scenario.   That's why having gold is good to have as a backup investment.
