Or you could buy them at Target with your red-card and save 5% and just sell them for retail with no markup and make 5% profit.
Hmm good idea Smiley  Target is opening up in Canada next.. year I think?  But that's a good pointer, I wonder if any other stores offer discounts on them?

Taking over the world.
2284  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin in 2012 on: December 26, 2011, 05:38:42 AM
Personally: mine bitcoins and continue to change every dollar that comes into my hands into bitcoin, one way or another.

Bitcoin as a whole: i forsee the values spiking this summer.  I guestimate a $10 bitcoin by May and I think this will, obviously, be the best year for bitcoin yet.  I think the world will notice that bitcoins are being traded more and accepted in more places and this is truly going to be the breakthrough-to-mainstream year.

2287  Economy / Goods / $10-50 Zynga Game Cards (Farmville, etc) [Guaging Interest] on: December 26, 2011, 05:26:19 AM
Hey is anyone out there a Farmville/CafeWorld/Mafia Wars, etc player?

Post here if you would consider buying Zynga cards and I'll stock some for you for BTC.  I would mark them up very little and they can be transferred with just the code so no shipping fees.

When the price goes above $10 you'll wish you were mining now.  I mean, stop mining, more shares for us! Smiley

Well as hopefull one could be with the new Tech from AMD, results like the above make me think that one should pickup some of these babies.

http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX32649 at $669 each seems tempting lol.

Yuck.  Get a used 5970 for half that price (or less).

Yeah, but what if this thing can do 700-800 mhash/sec overclocked?
I'm sure Tom's hardware just pulled 414.7 MH/s right out of their ass!
I never go to Tom's Hardware, but if the 7970 can do 500MH/s or more I'll never ever go there.

Okay, so this should be simple enough. All you have to do is answer the question above with another question, simple? Maybe. Just curious to see how long this can go on for.

2294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want in a new Bitcoin Exchange? on: December 26, 2011, 04:15:32 AM
- Alt-coins

- Fixed deposit addresses, so we can deposit directly in from a pool

- Slick interface but not sluggish

- PERHAPS a downloadable app that you can exchange on your desktop?  is this a good idea?

- PERHAPS a pool built into an exchange?

if I can think of other ideas i'll post them here.
2295  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can bitcoin cure cancer? on: December 26, 2011, 04:03:18 AM
Yes, Bitcoin can.

How? Easy, give enough bitcoins to someone with cancer, he then use them to pay for all the expenses for healing and ta dah, bitcoin cured cancer. Ok, success is not guaranted but it's a start

Also you can donate bitcoins for research on cancer

Someone trustworthy has to be the one who holds onto bitcoin donations and converts them into USD and then donates that to cancer research foundations.  Hopefully the money is sent to them in a fees-less manner like bitcoin.  Damn you Paypal!  *shakes fist*

2299  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Two GeForce 9800GX2 Video Cards! One perfect the other not-so-perfect. on: December 26, 2011, 03:18:16 AM
I'll test the cards more tomorrow.  Really I only have one case that the 9800GX2's fit in and it would be a tight squeeze, 90% sure they'll fit.  All my mining computers are not at my house but I'm pretty sure they'll fit in the cooler master elite 310 cheap-o case, I sized it up and it looks like it'll fit.

Reason for selling is I only want Radeon cards and the person had both these 9800GX2's in his system and one day one of the cards wasn't giving video.  System still worked fine but no video from the bottom card.  I had a spare Radeon so I sold him that card and never even really tested these.  Looking on eBay though and saw that the cards are still worth a chunk of change I figured now would be a good time to sell them.
