2281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favorite casino reviewer here in Bitcointalk? on: March 19, 2022, 11:46:45 PM

Honestly, I'm not familiar with other reviews sites except BTCGOSU.

As far as what I read mostly here, the other mentioned sites are also a good reference for site checking. If it does then I'm glad that there are lots of review sites nowadays that are true to their reviews or provide better feedback at different sites. That wasn't an easy task since it's doesn't end up with just sign-up, deposit, play, and withdrawal.

We all know that sometimes, some review sites just copy other reviews from a site and the priority is their referral link. Fine for me as long as they are doing self-experience reviews on which is not at most of the cases.

Hope the team will remain intact and will not turn into another farm team.

I'm looking forward to this too. The new owner will have the Alaska franchise's draft right since it's not an expansion team that's why if the team will be turned into a farm team, what a waste of talents as players will just be forward to a much stronger team and in the end, the PBA will say "the trade is fair" lol if you guys know what I mean.

There's no new information regarding who's the company will own the Alaska rights.

If there's no official turnover or what they called it when a buyer sold a franchise, until the next conference, Alaska players will now be included in the upcoming draft pick in May. It's called "Special Draft" or something along those lines if I remember it right.

I think they'll be able to catch up to win this series but to do that they have to have the same rhythm of play from their recent match. If they'll able to do the impossible then that will indeed a huge upset to the whole NLEX team.

The departure of KJ McDaniels really has a big impact on the NLEX. But regardless, Alaska is also has a new import and just played once for them. Should be no excuse as both teams are playing with a new import. The role of locals is playing a big role here.

Regarding Ginebra vs. TNT, Coach Shot pointed out that they need to contain Scottie Thompson next game aside from trying to slow down Justin Brownless. Some of the major reasons why TNT is now facing a sudden-death situation.

Can't wait to see tomorrow's game (SMB vs Bolts, Magnolia vs Phoenix) if they will also have the same result where those who have a twice-to-beat advantage lose.
2284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 17, 2022, 10:17:02 AM

That just proves that betting in Lakers is really risky regardless of what betting options we choose. Lots of times they destroy my parlay too. Even the handicap provided to them is worth placing a bet, we can't really trust them covering with it.

I know they are inconsistent but at least, they should be able to cover it against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Bad night every bad night. This team is on the verge of being eliminated if nothing will change.

So for those who will ask again if 1 point spread matters, yes, that's one more proof.   Embarrassed

This is true. Not just for handicaps but also for Totals.

Just several weeks ago, I've almost lost a bet but thanks for that .5 gap.
2285  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: March 17, 2022, 09:33:46 AM
Please give me some advice. I want to earn good money and for that I am ready to work hard and learn some good skills which would help me do so.

Since you aren't sure or don't know the skills or interest you think you have, then find it right by browsing some works on that platform where you are looking for freelance jobs. From there, you will see those most works that have a quiet demand there.

Check the details of each work and see if, by any chance, you will have an interest in the involved work there. Then began working on improving and enhancing the skills required for it. You will know if you are ready to take that job once you feel comfortable with it.

Sometimes you have to work outside your comfort zone. It doesn't mean that if it's outside your skill, you won't be comfortable with it. That's the challenge.
2286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 17, 2022, 08:14:40 AM

The undercard is now getting in shape too. As per recent news, some names involves in the undercard for this Casimero vs Butler main event are Rocky Fielding, Jazza Dickens, Sam Maxwell, Blane Hyland, Will Cawley, and Harry Kinsella.

Mostly, on Super Middleweight and Super Lightweight class and some are climbing up ranks.

Let's see if there's a considered big fish that will join the undercard of this fight.

You are right, for me Casimero Vs inoue is the fight that seems most exciting to me, in fact I think that both boxers want to fight internally, we do not know if there are already some contacts, some arrangements, but I think that before all this they want to make the most of it with other boxers, from what I have said, because of the enormous business model that exists in boxing, millions of dollars are put at stake here, and the profit for each promoter is very juicy, they know that with just one The fight between Inoue and Casimero will be many more millions, but they see it as killing the goose that lays the golden eggs, because the fans are the ones who practically give life to boxing, and oxygen (money) to the promoters.

It's a good thing that the Casimero-Inoue bout is not pushed last year as we know what happens to Casimero last December during the weigh-in and just only a day before the fight with Paul Butler. That will result in Inoue not taking Casimero anymore due to medical issues.

It's good that WBA stepped in and assign a mandatory title defense for Casimero since at least, Butler will just wait until Casimero can now finally fight instead of Inoue that once the fight is canceled, he will move on to another one as part of his followed timeline.
2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 17, 2022, 03:35:50 AM
Really close game between the Mavs and Nets. Tied at 102 with just over 3 minutes to go and if this goes to overtime, Nets would probably take it. I like how they look so balance right now. Durrant quite silent in the scoring with 20 points but it comes with 10 assists already unlike Luka who is doing most of the scoring for Mavs.

In the end, Dallas Mavericks sealed the win with the buzzer-beater by Spencer Dinwiddie. Wonderful exchange of clutch shots made by Luka and Durant before that Dinwiddie's shot. On that last play by Dallas Mavericks, maybe the Nets thought, specifically Kevin Durant, that the shot will be attempted by Luka. Durant left his defense and goes to Luka leaving Dinwiddie for an open shot.

The tandem of Doncic and Dinwiddie seems to get along well.

Their chemistry is currently in a good shape and I hope they will maintain that kind of level of performance.
2288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 17, 2022, 03:24:44 AM

Nice clutch shot by Spencer Dinwiddie to seal the win for the Dallas Mavericks.

And of course prior to that, that Dirk Nowitzki fadeaway by Luka is also a turning point.

I thought Luka will attempt that shot again until Durant came for a help defense that leads on passing to an open wide Dinwiddie nailing the shot. I'm expecting that the Nets will dominate them but still, I put a trust betting them at Live Betting when they are down by around 7 or 8 if I remember right, during the 1Q of the game.

2289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 17, 2022, 01:19:32 AM

Blair Cobbs makes prediction for Errol Spence Jr. vs. Yordenis Ugas

About a week ago, WBC-NABF welterweight champion Blair Cobbs shared his prediction on this upcoming fight between Errol Spence Jr and Yordenis Ugas.

He sides on Ugas to win this match as he sees Spence doesn't have that usual fighting spirit anymore compared to his previous fights. I don't know what he meant for that tough. He also shared the ring with Ugas and maybe already sees the style that can match Spence Jr. He also showed interest in betting money with Ugas to support his stand.

Out of topic but Cobbs has a scheduled fight 2 days from now.

2290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 17, 2022, 12:32:50 AM
I definitely doubt that sponsors will back out, this event is a big one and I don't think they want to lose some good money as for them boxing is still a business.

Actually, it's not that the sponsors or organizers will back out but since there is a lot of pressure put on Russia, that will be one of the reasons why the fight will be delayed. Fortunately, no rumors or any leaks that the fight won't happen, at least for now, so we should just keep positive that it will really push.

And since it's about 2 months before this fight happened, we should also look forward that the situation between Russia and Ukraine will somehow ease within that period.

Moving back to this upcoming Bivol fight, we will probably see the adjustment since he will be facing a much bigger and stronger opponent.

The same goes for Canelo as that was his first fight after stepping up. It's a new challenge for him.

so far, no indication of suspending or postponing the fight. i understand, bivol is russian here, but this is not political arena that we are in. though we can't assure if endorsers and other big sponsors will not pull out at the last minute affecting this match.
will this war situation affect bivol in terms of his mental health or preparation of training, we don't know? we know that canelo is already a big star and can pull off good audience, so boxing fans are excited with this match. just hope that everything will be in place and push thru this event.

About mental health, I don't think it will hit Bivol directly to the point that he will remain unfocused and distracted. Maybe there's a bit of thinking about the situation but he surely knows how to handle it. Lots of things he needs to do as preparation for Canelo. And aside from that, he will be used on it while days, weeks, months are passes by.

It's no secret that he is worried about his friends in Ukraine and hoping for the war to end, Dmitry Bivol Just Wants the War in Ukraine to End, but remaining focus on his upcoming match will always be his priority. Even there's a call that he shouldn't fight as a sign of condemning Russia, it's up to the higher-ups to make the decision. He is really stuck between the lines and should be careful about his future decision.

Right now, I trust his camp that they are doing everything to make Bivol comfortable and be focus for the preparation on their next challenge.
2291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 16, 2022, 11:59:23 PM

PBA is surely happy with the outcome of those first matches in the quarterfinals. Extending the series does mean additional profit for their revenue which is good. As always, there are people who will say that those games are somehow being influenced. Are they really watching the game? How can that be influenced were in the first place, all players are doing their best? That's way beyond acting haha.

Another win is what they needed to advance to the semis, though knowing the resume of TNT, they are not just going to give it up
Without a good fight.  Roll Eyes Tongue

They even considered Ginebra a threat prior to that game. They know that this team is tough to beat in a pressured game or when placed in a Do or Die situation. Now that both teams will now face the same situation next game, it will be intense pressure. Expect TNT will now unleash their 100%, same with Ginebra. Allowing Brownlee to have 38 big points and S. Thompson doing insane rebound stats at that height should be wake-up call to them.
2292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand or know the whale's next move? on: March 16, 2022, 11:54:21 PM
I'm wondering if there is any forum, website, subreddit or a threading discussion in this forum about what the whales are going to do or if there is a channel where they talk/share their next moves.

Whales are not lurking in any crypto-forum community. Can't imagine they will announce that they will pump a certain coin. Don't believe in that if you ever encounter one. If things are that simple, then why should we experience a hard time analyzing the market.

As I shared before"

"Please be careful with traders who run private groups, do phone consultations, and sell courses.

Most successful traders are too busy trading, they don't have time to teach.

It would be a distraction."

They don't have time to share inputs to others or offer trading subscriptions related to signals or related stuff.
2293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 15, 2022, 11:59:31 PM
Yeah, I was waiting for it will happen but suddenly this mandatory match came in and Casimero has to take care of this first. Actually, they should fight because it was previously announced before the pandemic that they will fight, but due to the pandemic, it was canceled until Inoue's camp seems losing interest anymore.

If you'll ask me, on the promoter's side, Inoue vs Donaire rematch will surely make more revenue for them.

I don't know the reason why it failed but likely, maybe something to do about the revenue. Since it's pandemic, promoters are doing their best to only choose fights that will have a good impact on the viewers as their priority.

And that Inoue vs Donaire match is close to happening as per Bob Arum.

I actually shared that on this thread over a week ago: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5370631.msg59457843#msg59457843

Donaire-Inoue rematch in April ‘really close,’ says Arum.
2294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 15, 2022, 11:54:55 PM
I doubt about that, yes GGG have the advantage about ring IQ and experience and per stats but we cannot deny that GGG is slowing down as he's aging every single day while Murata is still hot. Being a heavy favorite will not determine the actual outcome because there's still a lot of factor that needs to be considered.
All I got to say is that while Murata is an underdog, he is also capable and have a chance to upset GGG.

Murata is currently hot? I tend to disagree bro. His previous fights can't be labeled as the same caliber with GGG even already aged. Not even a closed one. Murata is also way past his prime at 36 years old.

But yes, maybe we can't just conclude things right away that he won't stand a chance. Who knows after all.

The only advantage is, the fight will be in his hometown and that will boost his confidence, at least.

There's definitely no way that we can exactly tell what would be the outcome of this match until they're finished fighting, even the so called boxing enthusiasts cannot forecast it. But per stats, GGG's age can be his disadvantage but we can't took away the part that he is also a former pound for pound king so he's quite a dangerous boxer rather than Murata.

GGG was around 36 years old when faces Canelo Alvarez for their rematch.

Still, he was able to put Canelo on his limits and remember that Canelo is in his prime at that time. Now at 39 years old and will be on his 40th on the day of the match against Murata, I don't see any difference nor lack of strength even after 3 years, especially if what we are talking about is against Murata.

I disagree that GGG's age is a disadvantage unless he takes a long rest prior to this fight against Murata.

so this can be a good bet since its easy to predict but since Phoenix was able to shock NP, maybe they can also do that against Magnolia.

In fairness, I'm amazed how Phoenix surprised the NorthPorth on their recent match but still, NP is nowhere to compare to the caliber of the Magnolia. I'm not saying that Phoenix doesn't have a chance to win but I will give it a "small chance".

If Phoenix will win on Game 1, that's already a good achievement for a team that takes the last spot in the Quarterfinals.

Well then, we won't see until it happened.

Hope you didn’t get disappoint on how the PBA being handle by their officers and focus only the goodness of the player.

Who are these players?
2298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 14, 2022, 10:21:20 PM
^^ I do agree, if AD can just remain healthy throughout the season, it could be a different Lakers this year. Unfortunately, he is down almost half of the season that's why the Lakers are now suffering and could be not making the playoffs and if they did, it could be an first round exit. Lebron can do anything he wants but if his team mates are not going to help him, chances are even if he scores 30,40, 50 points per game, they are still going to lose.

While waiting for Anthony Davis to return, at least the remaining Lakers roster is doing their best to make it to the playoffs. There's no problem with AD's performance even coming back to injury and the only concern they need to do is to hope for Davis not to be injured again.

Lebron's big production is kind of a waste if his teammates are not doing well.

Hello Play-in or being eliminated, they should act right now. Currently sitting on the 9th spot on the Western Conference behind 7 wins on the 8th, that's alarming and the chance of not making it to the playoffs is high.
2299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 14, 2022, 10:08:13 PM
because that would be his ultimate ticket if Donaire lost the fight with Inoue.

And Casimero winning the match against Butler will also lead to making another push to convince Inoue's camp to take the challenge. But actually, it's not on Inoue's hand but for the promoter. Inoue will surely accept any challenge as long as it was properly negotiated.

If you guys remember, after Casimero throws several trash talks to Inoue, the latter immediately asks his promoter to make a move to organize their fight.

Unfortunately, it fails, and that leads to Casimero facing Butler instead on a mandatory fight.
2300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 13, 2022, 11:58:52 PM
The Lakers usually do pretty well against the Suns but the way they've been playing lately I think the Suns have a pretty good shot.

I think LeBron will try to go big on the scoreboard again tonight to keep his massive scoring streak alive as he seemingly attempt to win himself a scoring title.

The Lakers never managed yet to defeat Phoenix Suns in all of their meetings this season. Those 2 wins by the Suns against the Lakers are both in the double-digit lead. And as you have mentioned, with the inconsistent Lakers lately, a possible 3-0 win for the Suns might be recorded.

LeBron James is listed as questionable due to left knee soreness/effusion. That's a big handicap for the Lakers.

Let's see if there's something surprising that other Lakers players will do if LeBron won't play.
