Each POS block counts towards the POW height of 20090. Each POW block consist of 1500 MIN and each POS block very little, lets say 0.5 MIN. This means that with POS blocks in the mix, the total money supply at the end of POW will be less than the quoted 30m. This increases the rarity of the coin and also its value. I agree - a good situation just got better That is assuming that you are getting the staking - I have 70k at C-CEX (all bought, my mined coins are still at the pools) but I don't see any POS payments like some other posters here Do YOU have coins at the exchange and are they getting stake? That's a general question to everyone with coins at C-CEX  i think, all the stake in the exchange go directly to c-cex, are not your anymore |

Yeah it's totally wrong. 10MH is about 20k/JPC/day at current diff and block reward. it is even worse than that, i'm getting much less than 100k a day with 50MH/s Really? Where are you mining? It can't be far off, I got 28,035.045JPC in the last 24hrs with ~15MH (2x GTX670, 1xGTX750). dunno but it's like i'm losing 2k every 10k or something, with 33MH/s mining 9 hours all night, i got only 15k At 10Mh I'm getting around 13k JPC a day. Difficulty yoyos up and down so calculators are usually wrong.
this is my estimate also, maybe a bit more, but certainly no more than 70k with 50 mega |

There are two main strategical competitive advantages of JackpotCoin; Transaction speed + New Hash Algo. Yes, there are more stuffs such as true pos/pos hybrid, true random super block, robust and stable codes, etc.... But the speed and the new hash algo is the most obvious advantages for new users and investors. While it is important to promote the speed, we also need to emphasize more about the new hash algo. However the name of the algo is Jackpotcoin Hash Algorithm (JHA) which is just a repeated name of Jackpotcoin. To spread out this algorithm to new altcoins and promote it, it is better to have a neutral name like x11 to Darkcoin, scrypt-N to Vertcoin, x13 to ?, etc.. I want to ask your option to change the hash algorithm to a new name, possibly x5 or x7 or whatever something very sexy name, easy to remember, easy to figure out it is a hash algo name. I think we have seen bottom of the price on C-CEX and very reluctant sellers or dumpers.
Can we go above five figure sats? How does this coin compare to other coins in terms of quantitiy and POS?

This coin has a great specs; no IPO, no premine, low supply but is lacking appeal, branding; I would start with changing name to GEMS. I know all you StarCraft fans would not like that but name is very important in marketing and if this coin ever want to treated seriously and not only used in games then this has to be done. After PoW ends, based on the OP we should be listed on Bittrex. If that happens, then its a good start towards 5 digit price. gems is redundant, i remember at least two coins using it, minerals is good enough imho it is even something that remind you about mining, like gold, how this can be bad Ill chime in on this one , I like the name Minerals. I can say I'm mining minerals,,,kinda sound natural doesn't it? and for the StarCraft community its a hit... so lets leave well enough alone. Soon we will see MIN at the top of Buttrex oh I mean Bittrex lol i have a feeling this coin will rise beyond 1k easily, when the pow end, or just around that time, bittrex is a good springboard |

I can't possibly stress enough how important it is to have 2FA on anything and everything crypto currency related. Install Authy on your phone, set up 2FA on your email and every exchange you ever have coins at. Sure it's a minor pain in the ass to have to get a code to login, but it's much less annoying than losing your money.
Were talking about mostly anonymous internet money than can be moved around without a trace and currently has almost zero repercussions for the hacker/thief. Honestly, 2FA should be required on exchanges these days.
some exchange don't provide 2fa through email, what about i want to use 2fa on a normal phone? they should provide sms form too... Well, you're the one at risk for holding out, not anyone else. I truly find it hard to believe that people involved in something as technical as crypto currency don't have a smartphone and or tablet. Given that password databases have been hacked in the past, I'd say obtaining a device capable of 2FA is simply a required operating cost. I also assume most people here have a decent investment in crypto already through mining and trading as well, so it should be a small fraction of your portfolio at least. Even if you have zero interest in a tablet or smartphone, it's a pretty poor excuse when the security of much larger value is on the line. it's not about having or not a smartphone, it is because a normal phone is more secure than a smartphone, since there is no internet connection |
