** Warning:  Not official **

Rob, don't spread FUD that it's "risky" to use this thread,

Hi inblue, Please do not post messages here that violate the guidelines.  If you continue to do so you will be banned.

Multiple times I asked you to email me if you have any personal problems but you are afraid to.  Rob@biblepay.org.  Im waiting.

No, the messages violate your brain, not any guidelines.

And how ironic that you call me afraid, yet you are clearly afraid because you always want to hide in private conversations! Cheesy Why not be a man and speak in front of everyone? Instead, you delete messages and you manipulate everyone individually in private. Also, you are even more rude in private, so I can't see any upside to that.

I realize you don't see an upside in it - but since I have to explain this to you - I guess Ill go ahead and do it:
This is not the place to dump your lists of unfounded inaccurate attacks.  Im telling you if you would have emailed me, I would have worked through every one until you had no choice but to reply with an apology (since the truth stands), and we would have saved the drama here.

** Warning:  Not official **

This is not our official forum.  Post at your own risk.

This user has gone rogue, and is doing this out of spite.

** Warning:  User bible_pay gone rogue **

Butt hurt much? Kiss

There is no "official" in a decentralized project. And Togo is one of BiblePay's most loyal users.

Rob, don't spread FUD that it's "risky" to use this thread, when he posted all information correctly, all links go where they should, I checked. It's actually more "risky" to use your thread where you don't update it for months and a new user could go to an old link, see old information and generally get dizzy from the jumbled mess the post is.

Incorrect again Inblue, there always is an official thread on an organized project - and this isnt it.

You dont deserve a reply for the rest of the whiny comment - Ill go high while you stay low.

2303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay✟CPU✟Governance✟Help Orphans✟PODC Cancer Mining✟Deflationary✟Masternodes on: November 13, 2018, 04:37:17 PM
Togo, amazing work on the first post design! It's very clear and easy to see all info. Could we have OP in this thread updated with it please?

Let's first see if we can hear an apology from you to me for :
Claiming that I was hiding proposals
Claiming that I am dishonest
Recognizing that it was a misunderstanding on your part

And I will apologize back to you and move forward in a positive light.

Um, what are you talking about, the proof is right there - you've hidden the previous proposal from your website and made a new one, misleading users that there are not so many negative votes on that proposals, and rigging the voting system in your favor, so that your proposal could pass. This is the 100% undeniable truth, with proof on the blockchain which will never go away, no matter how hard you want it.

Also, read this:

Why Making People Apologize For Their Mistakes Is A Bad Idea
https://www.forbes.com/sites/markmurphy/2017/07/22/why-making-people-apologize-for-their-mistakes-is-a-bad-idea/

It will be a good start on your way to becoming more mature.

No, you misinterpret the feature in the pool - and misconstrue its use - any proposal can be voted on and any one user, not just me, can enter a second proposal if they wish to risk the 2500 bbp.  Same as dash - if you wish to risk 5 dash you can enter multiple dash proposals, and ask users to vote on the latest.

I'm warning you to be a team player on this thread, and show respect in every post, or you will end up being banned.  Im starting to report your posts to the mods as they violate our community guidelines.  They attempt to mischaracterize our feature to be dishonest, while Me, as the creator clearly explain the usefulness of the feature.  Compassion uses it, BLOOM uses it, and its not dishonest.  A losing proposal is a losing proposal.  People have to pay more to re-enter another instance.  It still needs voted in.

You really need to start acting as a man and not a whiny baby InBlue.  Im acting professional and giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Please remove your bad attitude from our forum.

No - its not OK.  This is still our official forum.  We could ask that the thread is taken down unless its marked non-official, or supporter.
For now, I just posted there that its not official.

This is why we eventually need a continuity plan, DAO based (not 501c3 based) that organizes our 'organization level' assets, to prevent one user from going rogue and making biblepay into something it wasnt intended (like Non-Christian for example).

For now, I mentioned a while back I would share control (with our website keys for example) with a few trusted people to create seeds for this next org - I originally said when we reach approx $20 million market cap but I have been adjusting that early based on west coast consultants and Dev continuity requirements.

The important thing to know for now is I am the founder, and I created biblepay, and I control the official web site and own the domain.  I can still officially say where our official forum is until this new DAO org with assets is created.

This forum is our official forum for new exposure.  Forum.biblepay.org is our official forum.

It is necessary to work with me as Founder until all measures of continuity are addressed.
We are working on something, very very promising right now, and we really need to come together as a community.

I still manage development resources, talk to devs, and create releases.  You cant possibly expect to have a fractured community with a Social Media campaign that is not in alignment with what our devs are doing and our next release.  A divided house will fall.

Please come together and support me, and as I said on the reddit thread I promise to be nice and malleable.

I apologize for coming across in a harsh way to anyone.

Rob, you're violating the rules again. We work for the common good.

No - I'm not - this is what is required for the common good - a forgiving Christian relationship.

And btw, it never was "again".

1) Regarding the BOINC Team blacklist feature in BiblePay PODC: I was only stating my initial opinion - that to give PODC more credibility we ensure a feature exists that does not allow double dipping (it was part of the Sanc vote for removing the team requirement); However I want to explain:  I am not in disagreement with doing whatever the community wants.  If we feel the UTXO requirement is already enough, If the community votes to have the blacklist removed - then lets remove it.  Action Item:  I will add a new community poll on forum.biblepay.org ASAP for this.

2) Regarding multiple forums:  I want to apologize for the miscommunication - I am not unhappy with the way TheSnat or TMike are moderating this forum.  I was only making a point that I never originally intended to censor information - unless it violated community guidelines- and I agree fullheartedly that this forum should be reserved for positive constructive General discussion and we need to keep it clean and entirely without infighting.  Lets all grow up and act more mature and make BiblePay into a professional cryptocurrency where people feel warm and welcome when making initial contact.  They may read 10 pages and decide not to be part unless they already feel warm and fuzzy.

I believe it is essential to have forum.biblepay.org available for organization.  This threads purpose (BTCTalk) is for Attracting users off the street - those people who browse bitcointalk and discover us.  This is our on-ramp thread.  Forum.biblepay.org is for focused discussion on each area.  Moderation is still needed to ensure that we maintain a professional presence.

3) Regarding the Dash Rebase (Dash Evolution):  MIP is spearheading this project.  He is in the process of analyzing every diff between Dash and BiblePay.  We plan on carving out a regular IT meeting together to create the full scope of the rebase (that includes any new features we try to create for our next release) into a mid 2019 Evolution release.  We really need a PR volunteer to help us create a PR campaign around this future rebase as this event is similar in magnitude to a BiblePay re-launch.

ANNOUNCEMENT:  Important update for the BiblePay Community:

Change is important, change can and will change your life!   Welcome to some new changes.

As Rob posted a few days back,  he is looking for someone to "Take Control" of community and offload some of the workload from him.
This is a win for decentralization, and makes the core team larger while offloading some of workload from the existing folks.

With this in mind, tmike and I are going to be sharing the burden of this position, and will look for others that can aid us in this process.

* Social media accounts are being split up for ownership, and control will be shared among several core users,  this helps to limit the "single man" liability.
* Jaap now has primary primary control over Reddit, and maintains the Telegram
* I now have access the the main biblepay twitter account, and will help manage the team that can post tweets on our behalf.
* Biblepay Official forums will be transitioned from Rob to a new host, and maintained by tmike and myself.  Once this is completed we will have some guidelines for having better discussions over there, and will allow for some more freedom than this ANN thread, as well as some more focused discussions.

For those that have been around,  you have seen the stuff that has gone on and you know what my stance has been, and should have an idea what it would take for Rob to allow these changes to proceed. We have had some good discussions in private and prayed for Rob and the future of Biblepay. Which helped to facilitate this and shows his willingness to work with us to improve things.

What we are looking for from the community is a clean start.   I am not taking this lightly,   and you should not either.

New community guidelines going forward:
* Be respectful,  think about the children and the lives we are trying to bless through this project.  Speak as if they are reading each and every reply.
* Post deletions will be limited to topics that have personal or confidential information only.   We're working with Rob on the guidelines for this since currently he is the only one with access to delete messages. (Please, don't make this an issue by posting garbage Smiley
* Work with each other on understanding.   We all have different backgrounds, pains, motivations.   Let's seek to unify for the sake of our Lord and those we want to keep blessing.
* tmike and I will work on support, and relaying topics back to the devs as needed.   User support is still encouraged, and welcomed!

If everyone plays along, we can transform this community from a hostile environment to something worthy of representing Christ and the original vision of this project.

I confirm these positive changes are indeed in effect.  Thanks TheSnat and T-Mike for bringing this program online and acting as Community Managers.

In the background MIP, Bhavani and I are fully at work on development issues.

The CMs (Community Managers) are working on a general announcement.

I'm working on a more technical IT announcement containing parallel paths, to be used for our new forum discussions for November - and those discussions ultimately drive changes to our roadmap.  We will update the roadmap with preliminary changes after the IT announcement (to stay current).  (The actual November discussions may also affect the long term roadmap).

Thank you for whittling the problem down to something manageable and not including the prior content (which is just unprofessional).  (on a side note I emailed you but Im not sure if you deleted it).

The answer to your question above is that the pool.biblepay.org has a feature where any user can request an old instance of a proposal be hidden in the pool only, *if* they re-enter the proposal with the exact same name, within the current 30 day vote window.

This has been in the pool and used by Bloom, Compassion, and me and is a legitimate feature.  It lets our community vote on the latest instance, if for example the prior instances are going to put us over budget.

In this case, I added up all the proposals in the pool and made an effort to lower myself and compassions enough to fit in the budget (which was not known until two days ago, since we have Kairos and Jaaps two now also).

None of the proposals have ever been deleted- and if you wish to use the core wallet to view them you can see all of them.

When I designed the pool, I made it so that it is easier to use - and that feature is important that the graph totals up properly. If we didnt have it, we would be overbudget every single month except last Christmas when we first started this.

We always had a budget problem!  Since month #2!  You have to realize the pool has to fit the proposals within the grand total on the graph!

Interesting, how does this affect sanctuaries and the superblock generation?

Do they as a matter of course ignore the oldest/older proposal?

No; we have to ensure we vote against any hidden proposal; I usually post a message here to vote down an unwanted proposal.

I don't need to do that in this case as they were either already below zero or at zero, so they wont be voted in.

The superblock picks the highest voted items automatically that fit in the budget.

Inblue, send me an e-mail to rob@biblepay.org with your post and let me reply to you so you can post something with truth here for a change.

Your entire post was partially an attack on biblepays image, my character, and full of a lot of misleading information and some lies.  Therefore it was deleted.

Once we work out the truth - then you can re-post it.

Why don't you reply to me here? Why hide?

The truth is in the blockchain. You of all people should not pretend like that's not the case.

Code:
gobject getcurrentvotes 61a147f3b0eb0f5e349e8044878cdcb83ef3154084815cdca613394dc5acb129

gobject getcurrentvotes 45ab07c518bf3b4e175e42ec3122b1a1089ce1b5681758ac4bae26fae82935da

If you argue against this, then I feel sorry for you. I hope God will forgive you, but the blockchain doesn't forget.

what's going on with biblepay, I received an email with a poll to legitimate the project because some people are talking shit about BBP, who and where? I've always seen this community as a strong and growing one. Regardless to the negativity, is one of the few coins out there that are small cap and promising. Keep it up BBP!
Thanks for the support;  we are coming to see each others viewpoints as a community and wish nothing but LOVE for all.

Can anyone confirm the number of hours between daily superblock? I noticed last night it was 1 hour more than before. Usually daily PoDC payment is usually made in hour 20 or 21 (my time), but yesterday it was in hour 22. DGW's been really good with maintaining 24 hour average for daily superblock...

The Daily superblock is once every 205 blocks; but what we need to do is check the hours passed over the span of 1 month of blocks (205*30) and see if we have any time drift.  If you type 'showblock #' you can see the Block Time.

In this chart, dots closest to 0 is best. If each PoDC daily superblock time is reset, this is the difference from superblock daily to the next superblock daily. The daily stays within 60 minutes in either direction usually.

In this chart, a level line is best. this chart looks at the trend drifting where the actual PoDC daily superblock "drifts" from the ideal daily time. This is cumulative so you can see the upward trend. Around block 60k and 70k-77k there was a leveling off which means daily PoDC superblock was close to ideal (24 hours).

Data I used to create the charts: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XRkjCvENvf0HqXvVarnjslRIaYLormV1vrLFURsu2Rk/edit?usp=sharing

Daily superblock is drifting. It is not keeping to 24 hours. Superblock was 8pm to 9pm my time zone, but now it has drifted to midnight.

How can this be fixed bible_pay (Rob)?

Please enter a github issue with the link to your chart and the net timedrift over 30 days in minutes, and I'll run a side by side comparison with a different block set when we work on it for one of our next mandatories.

** Improving BiblePay's Image **

I think we have outgrown our original communication model in this forum.  When I come in and view the posts after a good night's sleep, I see a certain level of negativity that has crept in, and is persistent frankly, and its shameful for a Christian Community (or ones that represent Christ) to be so full of disagreements, arguments, spying, attempting to hurt others, etc.  I feel that these elements of attempting to prove one another wrong, discover secret information (IE voting, how many nodes ones owns), proving others are "right" about things - these are rooted in insecurity and also threaten the security of others.  I've come to the point where I disagree with a critical threshhold of information on this forum.  Some people don't have the morals standards and ethics to hold back negative feelings about others.

I'm not standing here as one who isn't willing to set an example.  I am willing to completely forgive and treat everyone here anew, and set a good precedent going forward.  So please don't reply and say, look at you, you are the one who started all this - wait - Let's not blame others - lets not judge - lets not hold grudges - lets start over.

This forum is sapping energy from our creative side and our productive side.  It's not a net positive anymore.  Things have to change.

Therefore I am going to take TheSnat's advice, and recruit a "Community Manager".  A liaison between developers and the forum.

The Community Manager will gather both compliments and complaints, gather IT requirements, and other items that are relevant and create a weekly report (and sometimes in an ad-hoc fashion more frequently for mission critical problems such as production support issues) and forward these to our developer address (which I will create).

The dev team or myself will create a regular weekly reply with answers to the issues, and optionally will answer some in an adhoc-fashion - especially where they are mission critical.

Please discuss who wants to represent the BiblePay community as Community Manager and if you need support from me, please send me a PM if you need a poll created on the forum with the shortlist of candidates.

Any volunteers? I also suggest maybe have 1 or 2 people instead of just one. Not sure if the person will be paid for this so splitting up the workload may be better. What I mean by being paid is we don't have that much resource right now.

Let's start it off as a volunteer position or positions.  If the volunteer wishes to keep track of time then they may enter a proposal.
