2301  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Adult affiliate networks that pay in SEXCOIN! on: June 24, 2021, 07:50:05 AM
Why would you want to use Bitcoin when there is already a dedicated Crypto for the Adult industry - SEXCOIN!

With Sexcoin you can store your funds via the App or PC (with blocks found every minute, confirmation is a breeze) enabling you to make secure online purchases of Adult entertainment and products.  You can even append an age declaration to your transaction.

I've got my bets in for both the June and July end of the month price:

By the end of June the price of Bitcoin will crash to just under $25,000 then stay in the price range (I estimate $22,500 through $27,500) through the end of July, 2021.
2303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible to lose all your money invested Bitcoin in 2021? on: June 24, 2021, 07:28:06 AM
Fictional satellites in orbit with "lasers" still can't reach miles below ground to burn out Faraday cage entombed storage devices containing the block-chain (not until we build our own Death Star before the other side does at any rate) so rest easy and sleep well tonight for Bitcoin will be with us - even as we sleep.

Fools and their money on the other-hand will soon part ways - Don't invest more than you are prepared to loose financially and emotionally.
2304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Claiming BCH/BSV on: June 24, 2021, 07:18:04 AM
This is something that I have been working on for some time ( learning how to split off my forks from bitcoin).  I personally use either Coinomi or Ballet Wallets ( produced by Charlie Lee's brother Bobby Lee) to split my forks.  I would probably give Coinomi the nod above ballet due to ballet not having a customizable sweeping fee, where as Coinomi does.  I swept a satori poker chip ( funded collectible) and at the time bitcoin was around 10k.  I swept out $10 but only got $7 afterwards, for example of how that can backfire.

How does having a Ballet wallet enable claiming already forked coins?  I'm interested because I recently purchased both Ballet and Tagem wallets and can see that the Ballet Wallet App has the feature to add additional crypto wallets such as Bitcoin Cash / SV etc.  Would it occur via importing the priv key somehow and the app does the rest?
2305  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Encrypted NFC tag for paper wallet? on: June 24, 2021, 06:56:11 AM
You both might want to read up on the Tagem RF/NFC cards.  Essentially, you have an app on your phone and each time you make an outbound transaction, the App and the chip talk to each-other (the App gets the necessary information to sign a transaction).  In essence, you have to hold the chip to the NFC enabled phone to make a payment.  No chip, no payment.  I've no doubt there's something "extra" contained within the chip that the app reads to verify the details haven't been skimmed from another card (such as their "two key" feature).

Tagem even outlines their security features on this page: https://shop.tangem.com/pages/faq-security-and-technical-details (and you don't tap your car on anyone else's card readers, so no skimming can occur)

As to BalletCrypto's "placing a priv key sticker..." in your flip comment, there are two components (the scratch off and the hidden QR code) that are joined via BalletCrypto's own App.  No app, no funds.

Spend ~$30 and prove me wrong.
2306  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Encrypted NFC tag for paper wallet? on: June 23, 2021, 11:34:48 PM
Imagine though, if some company like Tangem can make a card with an NFC tag in it, then it's definitely possible that we can make cards with the NFC phrase storing a seed phrase or a master private key. And then, the seed phrase could be etched at the back of the card in case offline recovery is needed, particularly on desktops, which do not have NFC adapters in them. Keep in mind that the card is a secret and thus is supposed to be stored in a secure place.

So you want something that is a hybrid of the Tangem and the Ballet Crypto cards - one with an RF NFC chip, the other with the priv key (in two parts) "etched" (okay, printed) on the steel card.

Do you suppose the end user wants to know stuff like "priv key", or rather, they just want something that works?  (Do any end users ask their Banks for clarification of how their ATM/debit/credit cards work?? - I suppose not)

Hit up @MoparMiningLLC is you want either, or, check this thread out: Tangem bulk order - extras up for grab/sale
2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Claiming BCH/BSV on: June 22, 2021, 05:38:59 PM
You can either import your priv keys into the various wallets for the forked coins, or, you can hand your wallet.dat / priv keys over to someone else.  I would advise you don't hand over your wallet.dat, or any of your priv keys unless you have done a little bit more than a cursory glance at the various suggestions on offer.  Read up on the various threads and draw your own conclusions.

From recollection, I've placed a wager for $20,000 - $25,000 (something like that) as I feel the price is going to drop sharply at the end of the Quarter and people are looking to cash out, or, to shift their funds to something a little more stable than the roller coaster Bitcoin has become (don't forget some of these people bought in above $60,000, so their losses at this point are huge).
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours on: June 22, 2021, 05:23:00 PM
@Timelord2067 Are you winning with the Origin series?

Sadly no, I'm in Queensland and we're down 1 - 0 to the NSW Blues.  This weekend is Game 2 and it's "Do or die" for the Maroons with a win needed to stay in the series.  Qld won last year in the "Unwinable" series (given the Broncos were the "Woodenspooners" and fill half of the Qld team).  I think this year is a little different in that the scores for matches have been <20 - >40 across the board.

If Qld win, it'll be close.

Recently, I've read/seen a few other threads where people have bought wallet.dat files and spun a yarn concerning how to crack the password etc.,

I see two outcomes at this point:  One, the OP's HDD is "unrecoverable" and the OP will wonder for the rest of their life whether or not a Technician got greedy and just says the drive was corrupted (sorry bud) or, two, the OP comes back in a few weeks and says the data is recoverable, but the wallet.dat is password protected and then asks for our help cracking that password.

Round 15 of the 2021 Season of the NRL ended with the Manly Sea Eagles totally obliterating the Gold Coast Titans 56 - 24 !!  The Sea Eagles trailed the Titans 8 - 24 at half time and then poured on 48 unanswered points with some 20 of those points in the last twenty minutes.  I caught the last twenty minutes on the radio while out for a day trip and the two ABC commentators were both critical of the Titans and the Sea Eagles (the former for having been leading at half time) and the Sea Eagles apparently slowing down play once in a winning position.

Round 16 does not start for another week as the 2nd game of the State of Origin Series is played this Sunday evening (changing the format from earlier years of Wednesday evenings spaced three weeks apart between the first, second and third games)... It's "do or die" for Queensland this Sunday.

The one off Women's State of Origin is played this Friday evening, both teams need to put in a solid performance:

I'm going to pick the Broncos, Sharks, Panthers, NZ Warriors, Raiders, Storm, Eels & Sea Eagles.  (the storm and Eels as a two bet parlay paying just $1.10 combined)

Yup Broncos at the bottom of the table, its not going to happen for them.

My 3 picks won hanssomely this weekend and The Panthers are back to
winning ways hopefully.

It looks like a fluke win that saw The Panthers loose last week, no dobut they are back to winning form.

PRO14 Rainbow Cup Final...

Sounds like some good games were played (hopefully you profited from their WIN$$$)

2314  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2021 Q2) on: June 21, 2021, 12:29:12 AM

From a cursory glance at their BPIP pages I can see:

  • @AdkinsBET has received merit from all five of these alts.
  • The last UID to receive merit from this cluster is @mikelsmith2020 Trust score loading...

Result (four of the five send this UID merit)
  • sempak both sends and receives merit from both wildan88 and gadado
  • Plus,  yayayo gives wildan88 merit who then gives sempak merit who then on sends merit to gadado

Conclusion:

Merit abuse by these five alts.
2315  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Alert / User XmasJohn08 / 979366 on: June 19, 2021, 06:17:45 AM
I'll tell you why; XmasJohn08 initially contacted me on telegram to facilitate a trade. He then asked me to send the btc prior to payment due to the fact that I am new to this forum. I declined and insisted that we use localbitcoin as escrow, in which he refused stating bogus reasons. As a result of his failed attempt to scam me, he falsely accuses me in his post without a single piece of evidence.

Hmm... So a deal never happened because the two of you couldn't agree on terms of how the exchange were to take place, so now you are calling the other side a scammer so that you can appear to be taking the high ground in this matter?

Am I missing something?
2316  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Alert / User XmasJohn08 / 979366 on: June 19, 2021, 03:49:45 AM
Hello,

Two hours on I feel compelled to say to you "proof, or it never happened". (Unless of course you're just Trolling?

Which is it then?
2317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Lightning Network Solve ALL Scalability Issues? on: June 18, 2021, 10:57:00 PM
...

With the price as high as you are suggesting (thank you for doing the calculations too by the way - it's appreciated) I feel people will either turn to products that offer small transaction fees in built (cue the Lightning Network theme song) or, they will wise up to paying higher than necessary fees and, fed up with those high fees, turn to something like coin control and drop the fee down to 1 satoshi (not one satoshi per byte, but *just* one satoshi) themselves.

Were bitcoin to reach One Million Dollars US, then one satoshi would be worth one cent, so a five cent transaction would be *just* five satoshis.

Coin Control as we know it would have to be modified.

Round 67 Payments have been sent out!

Thank you all for yet another great week, keep it up!

No new positions have opened up.

Thanks for the paymen advice - I see it already has one confirmation (happy days compared to a few weeks ago when it was taking all day).

Totally off topic comment, I'm loving the Beta Version of BlockChair.com 's upgrade - it seems to be more streamlined and is a simplified sample of transactions.
2319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours on: June 18, 2021, 10:11:19 PM

I wouldn't advise anyone to place another bet on the Brisbane Broncos for the reset of this season - they seem doggedly determined to be the "Wooden Spooners" for a second year running.  (Serves them right too).  My website of choice isn't loading properly, otherwise I'd jump on and place a bet on the Pro14 Rainbow Cup final.
