Ok, i want to also participate with the following ideas for the bounty: - create a website with a big tree and people can buy leafs until entire tree is sold. all money goes to charity - create a website with a tree without leafs and people can buy leafs and make it green. all money goes to charity - create a four leaf lottery website where the big prize is 1,000,000 leafs and people can buy tickets to play - print a paper wallet from http://leafaddress.tk , load it with a small amount from http://leafcoin.tk and give it for free to your friends thinking of more ideas as well |

my faucet stopped working, tried several web hosts and still says it cannot connect. the wallet works fine, i wonder what the problem is, considering other faucet owners experienced problems lately.

http://leafcoin-faucet.majorminer.co.uk/ FAUCET UPDATE: Now working againI was message by a couple of people telling me there was a problem with payouts, it turns out the wallet wasn't sending the payments to the blockchain for the last 2 days. I have replaced the wallet file and it is now working again. I've put the old wallet on another PC and it's slowly processing the backlog, so you should get them over the next few days. Odd, I am having the exact same issue. Perhaps there's a bug in the wallet itself that acts up when a lot of transactions are going through at the same time. I guess the dev should have a look at this. Mine happened when I did a "hot swap" wallet update, so guess it was my own fault. To fix I removed wallet.dat to another pc to process slowly and started with a fresh one on the faucet, which is now working as normal again. Not ideal, but gets the job done. Hope that helps. The weird thing is that I didn't do any of that. It just started processing transactions slower and slower, till now where it takes more than a day. I tried to send the entire server wallets balance to my own wallet (which was the dumbest idea ever) and now the coins are stuck. I guess I'll try your suggestion and move the wallet to another machine. I'll keep you guys updated on how this turns out. Anyways, sadly, my leafcoin faucet will not be usable until this is resolved. Unless of course, someone is kind enough to send me a donation so that I can just start over with a fresh wallet :3 also experiencing problems with the faucet at http://leafcoin.tk - not connecting to server anymore - suspended until solution is found |

LEAFcoin was one of the best alt coins. I really enjoyed it.
Unfortunately the game is over, because a market showed up, and the big mining whales started to dump their tens of millions. Price is going rapidly down, and unless there'll be someone to make the sacrifice to try to keep it up, this coins is gone within 1-2 days maximum.
And I am sure that NO ONE can keep up with the huge sale which is produced by the big whales.
Anyway, was a nice adventure.
