So, we had the halving. Many people were predicting BTC to the Moon, $100K and such, none of those happened. Are you disappointed?
I am very disappointed, but not because the miracle didn't happen overnight, but because people like you who have witnessed at least 3 halvings until now think that halving is some kind of magic. I'm not since I'm a long time HODLer but I was curious to see if you were expecting something else. The market seems undecided now.
Considering the timing of your topic and all the topics you publish from time to time, I would conclude that you are quite disappointed that the price of BTC has not already reached $100k - because that is your exit point, right? Have you read where I said "I'm not disappointed?" There is no exit point for me, sorry to disappoint you. I don't plan to exit from BTC. People should reply after reading the whole post not only the title.

*made an edit since some people seem to be reading the title only

"You will own nothing and you will be happy." It's up to the people to decide if this is what they really want.

BTC was created to get rid of banks and offer some degree of anonymity. Your idea sounds like the government. No, thank you. We have enough banks already, no need to create any more.

I'm a BTC enthusiast but I don't support a cashless society. This would give unimaginable control to the governments over the people. Watch out what you wish for. Cash is king. Never forget that. BTC and cash can co-exist together.

For all the Elon fanboys out there: he is still and will remain a loser. Being a loser has nothing to do with the fact that you are a billionaire, pretty sad to see many think being a loser means being poor It's related to how you behave and your character. The guy is a narcissistic liar which makes him a loser. Have a nice day everyone.

This guy is such a loser, everything he touches turns to *hit. Look at Dogecoin, then Twitter. I wouldn't trust him a minute, this guy is the father of all lies. How come people don't realize it yet?

It seems Bitstamp now accepts Paypal. How safe is it buying BTC with paypal balance at Bitstamp? Do you risk having your paypal account suspended?

Look at $100k. Now imagine owning $100k 20 or 30 years ago. Wow, that was a lot of cash! You could have bought a home, maybe a nice car and still have some money left in the bank. Today... do the math and see what you can buy Inflation is killing FIAT every single day. So stop comparing BTC to FIAT and see the true value of Bitcoin. Don't go "wow" when BTC hits $100k. Because $100k today doesn't value that much anymore. It's still low. Given the poor FIAT value 1 BTC is terrible cheap these days. $30k in 2009 is not $30k in 2023. You need like $42k for the same purchasing power. What I mean is... don't sell cheap when you do it because you might never see your BTCs again. Sell only for your real needs. Get the house or the car of your dreams. Have some money in your bank account. Live your life. But don't keep them all in the bank, those money will disappear day by day. The governments will keep printing...

At today's prices $100k is not that much anymore. Imagine $100k 20 years ago. Will probably continue hodling or only withdraw a small amount.

In 10 years one BTC may be equal to 10 today's Bitcoins in value. I'd say 2-3 BTCs will be enough for most people's retirement in 10 years. One BTC valued at $300,000 is very possible in 10 years so having $1,000,000 should be enough for anyone's retirement. I'm pretty confident BTC can reach the $1xx,xxx target in 1-2 years. After this, to the Moon!

There is Bitcoin and 20,000 copycats also known as shitcoins. Shitcoins are only good to multiply your BTC but nothing more. Owning BTC will be the safest bet in the long run.

College education and certifications don't help too much these days. This was valid 20-30 years ago but not anymore. You can learn a lot online for free. Investing in BTC might be good in the long run. Nobody can give you an exact answer. Only you can decide what's best for you. Good luck!

A cashless society is a controlled society. I think your country is used as a preliminary test for the coming global changes. I'm a huge BTC fan but going cashless is just another step to total government control. Of course they will say it's all for your own good, money carry bacteria and viruses

One at a time. Next stop is $100,000 and then we will look further. Enjoy the ride folks, remember, it's all about the ride not the destination. No matter what happens, 1 BTC = 1 BTC.

Banks suck big time. FIAT sucks. Money made with a never-ending printing machine. You don't even own the money you keep in the banks. You own them only theoretically. The bank interest is lousy. BTC is yours and nobody can touch it. Now you decide. Think also in the long run.

All this wait, same price for months, sounds like the calm before the storm. Maybe it's time for BTC to take off and reach the $100K. Just saying. This price is a joke for BTC's potential. Of course all we can do is hope. But it makes me wonder why it's not happening yet. Right now BTC is cheap as peanuts. Luckily 1 BTC = 1 BTC.

You can create a paper wallet generator yourself and use it offline. It's just a javascript code. Then just save the keys and you're good to go. Don't use third party services for this.

Hodling is the only way. Sooner or later BTC will enter the 1xx,xxx zone, it's so obvious that it's just a matter of time. In the meantime we are spending the crappy fiat, which is made for spending not hodling. Selling all your BTCs at $1xx,xxx would be a very dumb thing to do, because the journey will continue. Always keep some BTC, don't sell more than 15% of your assets or you will shoot yourself in the foot. 1 BTC = 1 BTC even in year 2030 and beyond.
