980ti is bad on ethereum, buying a card only for decred it's bad overall, with 970ti you can mine every coin out there with a good ratio between consumption and hashrate

OC SUPRNOVA How do I get ethereum miner to recognize 2 cards on the same computer ?... it only mines one of 2 cards .nvidia 980ti at 22 mh/s. It should have -d 0,1 but doesn't work..like cuda should. well then i don't think 0.1 will make any difference if anything Should have bought AMD cards, Would have been ROI by now (Ethereum).
I have sold most of my amd cards. but I have a few left.. NVIDIA cards are also ok for etherum. The cheap gtx 950 does 10mhash@60 watt better to go with 970 22mega 147w, and you save on many rig, you have better density less psu, riser, MB, cpu etc How much do you make with 22 mh/s please...at today's price..or how many coins? Thx 22mhash will give you 0.54 eth per day. ($6.50) Thx sp..... from Norway.... cool. almost $200 a month for a single card, not bad, but you need to subtract the electricity, in my case is not cheap Nice..not bad...... thx |

I'd highly, HIGHLY suggest not betting the farm right now. This is a highpoint for mining. Not sure you guys remember, but two months ago we were earning 50 cents on a 970. If Ethereum collapses, either through PoS or the market falling apart, that hashrate will go some where else to balance things out. Ethereum is the only thing absorbing it as there aren't any really big GPU coins besides it. X11/13/15 is ASIC/private kernels.
All we need is another mining rush like in '13.
Yes, and a lot of new people started mining as well. Once Ethereum gets out of the picture (one way or another) those miners will move elsewhere and will suck every big coin dry (eg. Decred). I think multipool profits will go way below 50 cents per 970. Unless something big comes along or BTC skyrockets taking the alts with it (unlikely). But those new miners will invest too.....so it all a question of balance. |

960: 786->880 (+12%) 917 (+16.66%)

1. Why is my hashrate with Nvidia cards on Windows 8 and 10 so low?
The new WDDM 2.0 driver on Windows 8 and 10 uses a different way of addressing the GPU. This is good for a lot of things, but not for ETH mining.
What is WDDM 2.0 driver?
Is this the graphics driver ?
If so can I install a driver from 1 year ago and then will that work?
