2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Free TON - Proof-of-Stake Blockchain Network on: January 06, 2021, 06:25:18 PM
I think that this contest is so likely to bring new people to the community. The terms of the competition suggest that new people will be round by round learning more about Free TON. This is how the project will grow the supportive and active community, cuz a good game or a quest can unite people with similar interests)
Well, it is fantastic such contests are been conducted to support engaging people for a common interest which is to popularize the free TON as a decentralized body. It is not that difficult to know a lot about the whole project if you are a daily reader of the Free TON Wiki and very active in the Global Sub-Governance. Even the beginning of this ANN contains a lot about the questions that would be asked in the quest.

By the way do not forget to sign Delcaration of Decentraliztion before participating in the ongoing contest, best of luck mate!

Are you still planning bounty or is this the last bounty campaign? I saw the bounty thread too late, unfortunately, it has been running for months
Two campaigns have been conducted similar to bounty and a lot more will still be conducted, you can make a proposal if the community finds it worthy it would be accepted and accredited.
[BOUNTY] Signature campaign - Free TON - Proof-of-Stake Blockchain Network was conducted by Dushanya and it was successful.
💎 [BOUNTY][NO KYC] Free TON Social Campaign | Token listed on exchanges! 💎 is been conducted by @Bubbalex, though it is almost ending. I'd suggest you keep an eye on the official telegram channels of the community for any further development.

2304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: January 05, 2021, 01:19:14 PM
I have lately realized that trading doesn't work for me like every other of my friends, I decided to stop trading and do other things for earning through bitcoin, sometimes I might decide to HODL  and make a little profit that is preferable for me than trading.
2305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today Bitcoin Turns 12 Years ! on: January 04, 2021, 04:08:02 PM
I believe the genesis block was only launched 12 years ago, whoever Satoshi was/is he probably might have seen the future years before he decided to bake such a precious gem which has resharpen the whole of modern world technology. banking, economy and the job industry. Happy birthday BTC
Bitcoin is the fundamental bedrock upon which emerging technologies are building on.

2307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: De-Fi on Bitcoin on: January 03, 2021, 03:42:54 PM
I have never really envisage the idea of building dApps, building Defi projects on the bitcoin chain but is never something we can actually criticize when we are yet to experience the processes and test how it might feel and look on the bitcoin data. I believe strongly like everyone else the real goal of Defi has not been implemented by the designers yet, it is a nice financing with a handful of scam running through the whole process.

2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just smashed $30k on: January 02, 2021, 12:36:19 PM
It really smashes it but I am afraid that there will be a dip in the coming months. Lets hope i am wrong.
Same thing everyone has been afraid of since it touched $20k it still does not relent or show any form of smashing.

2311  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: January 02, 2021, 11:49:08 AM
Unlucky dude, you’ll win it next time, keep trying. I was reading Man Utd have had 33 penalties in their last 59 PL games, ridiculous. Penandes (I mean Fernandes) scores most of his goals from penalties, damn stat padder Wink
He plays beautifully aside scoring penalties, I believe anyone else would gladly take the spot if he willingly offers it out, a lot of critiques have nicknamed him Penands which still hasn't stopped his crucial displays in matches united need his services the most.
Quote
January 17th - Liverpool vs Man Utd
Let’s see the Champions vs The Pretenders Wink

Good luck with whatever bets you put on today guys Smiley
A very important fierce rivalry match to watch not judging by the recent form united has but that would be one of the best Red Derbies in recent years.
2312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins/tokens do you think will survive in 2021? on: January 02, 2021, 07:58:40 AM
Too many coins with basically no positive use cases, directionless, unworthy to trust and invest in. I am of the opin that  only 0.9-2.3% of the total available listed cryptocurrencies will survive the heat and demand by real and organic investors. Some altcoins like Defi projects were made to steal your held bitcoins. more and more will be minted by thousands more will be rendered worthless and delisted.
2313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy New Year Bitcoiners on: December 31, 2020, 06:53:27 PM
Happy new year n0ne, indeed a lot of people had lots of beautiful resolutions for the year last but covid-19 messed them up. But it was one of the most amazing year for Bitcoiners that weren't directly and physically affected by the covid-19 we hit ATH.  2021 could be the best year to replace 2020 it is my earnest wish.
2314  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerian Bitcointalk Community Hangout. {Current topic: #EndSARs} on: December 31, 2020, 03:08:16 PM
Happy new year my beloved people. 2021 go come with honey and more winnings this year really tough and rough but we stand against all odds make the new year no follow him immediate younger brother show men shege na our earnest prayers be that. 2315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 Year Final Outlook on: December 31, 2020, 02:19:48 PM
Of course this is the best time since the induction of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, bitcoin wasn't dealt with during and after the lockdown. It continues soaring high and higher as against how it started in the Q1 of the year. Too man institutions adopted bitcoin which made it go more viral and the PayPal-payment adoption is a great one too.
The miners still have a long way to go if bitcoin is really going to be used alternatively as a payment system and as a currency. The fees had better be curtailed to a minimal and more affordable to everyone regardless, the whole cryptocurrency industry this is indeed one of the best year so far.

2317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto a single person? on: December 31, 2020, 10:20:53 AM
I have always imagined Santoshi as a group of people not just a single entity regards the difficulties involved in bitcoin Blockchain and it is quite unimaginable for a single person to perform the whole coding, launching and testing.
2318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Carry Your Seed When Traveling Or Moving Abroad? on: December 29, 2020, 11:48:55 AM
You can create a PGP public address and encrypt the keys  to yourself and decrypt them afterwards since it can only be decrypted by you I think that is another way to be safe out there.
2319  Other / Meta / Re: [2020] Positive news! on: December 29, 2020, 10:36:44 AM
So many challenges in 2020 so far but the most important thing is health which I have, I was so excited the day I ranked up to the member rank. I was not expecting it that day I knew there is reward in posting quality posts and the merits that took me to the rank was sent by CryptopreneurBrainboss. I have learnt a lot on this forum and it makes me happy been here always.
2320  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit] Hey Bitcoiners! Can You Send Encrypted Messages? on: December 28, 2020, 06:16:13 PM
It is not that hard to send an encrypted message the procedure on the thread posted by OG is even more tedious than the one I used here Smarth Ninja Thanks Og for the opportunity to earn some merits and learn a new skill
