Free TON Global Community Subgovernance has been officially launched

Free TON Global Community Subgovernance - a community that consists of professionals in different fields: bounty, content and community managers, moderators of blockchain forums, partnership organizers, authors, translators, owners of social media from different parts of the world.

We plan to expand 4 main areas, which are aimed at popularization and promotion of Free TON, growth of active community, launch of local programs and new partnerships. Our goal is for these areas to be continued by the community itself on a continuous basis in all regions of the world.

1st direction: Aggregators

New partnerships and listings at popular aggregators, services, exchanges and platforms, swap services and crypto wallets.

At the moment, negotiations are underway with Blockchair (multiblockchain explorer) to add TON Crystal.

2nd direction: Work with Ambassadors

In a short time, about 100 applications from ambassadors from all over the world were collected. These people are ready to get involved and launch programs in their countries. Our task is to select the best programs and organize their launch.

Also, our goal is to speed up decision making on activities and quick launch of programs and proposals from local ambassadors. In current realities propozal can hang on the consideration of more than a month - it affects both the motivation of ambassadors, and the growth rate of Free TON popularity.

3rd direction: Support for Free TON on forums

At the most reputable crypto forums, participants will be selected to help newcomers in studying the Free TON project.

Participants in this contest will have 2 main tasks:

Write a certain number of posts and make announcements;
To support newcomers as a support.
In the future, we plan to remove the rewards for the support and engage community as much as possible to help newcomers and bust communication with other forum participants.

The main task is to instill in the ambassadors a desire to start helping newcomers on a voluntary basis. To work on the forum at the first stage high ranked members of each forum will be selected.

All activity will be absolutely transparent, there will be reports on all performed actions and rewards distribution.

4th direction: Social network expansion

We plan to grow:

- Reddit
- Twitter
- Medium
- YouTube
- Facebook
- Instagram

For each network we will select a limited number of participants - 30 people who will pass the selection and create content. We plan to rotate groups within a certain period of time and attract local ambassadors to join the work as quickly as possible.

In the first month alone we plan to attract around 1500 new participants and organize work with local ambassadors.

After approval, we immediately launch the first contest for promotion and launch the contest on the jury. In this way we will be able to see those who work effectively, their actions and who are worthy to be on the jury.

I don't think it is in the plan of the team behind the project to pursue listing on exchanges, if they can improves use case and engage it, then the volume of use will increase. Defi made us to understand that high trade volume can attract centralised exchange,listing one's coin without payment of any kind.

The team has no intention to make this platform being a profit organization. Forget about the exchange listing as the team is clearly stated at its meeting about they are not aiming for the profir but they wanna try to build the platform that developed by the community. it's free for exchange site to listing TON for free but the team will never try to ask that.
The team will never do that. The approval of the proposal is also very complicated and it needs a lot of votes

This is a Social Campaign, so there is no difference between forums, it is only for the convenience of report submission. Pool is same, campaign is same, google form is same, spreadsheet is same. Only social accounts matter, forum account required only for the report.

I think that this contest is so likely to bring new people to the community. The terms of the competition suggest that new people will be round by round learning more about Free TON. Well, it is fantastic such contests are been conducted to support engaging people for a common interest which is to popularize the free TON as a decentralized body. It is not that difficult to know a lot about the whole project if you are a daily reader of the Free TON Wiki and very active in the Global Sub-Governance. Even the beginning of this ANN contains a lot about the questions that would be asked in the quest.

Description:

After Global Community Sub-Governance launch we decided to revive and bring to an end well-known Ambassador contest.

Global Community Sub-Governance invites competent leaders from different countries and regions make their own contribution in Free TON promotion amongst their groups and followers.

For more efficacy contest will be divided into 2 stages:

Stage 1 where Ambassadors will be selected on the basis of their proposed programs;

Stage 2 will evaluate the effectiveness of selected Ambassadors in implementing their programs proposed in Stage 1, as well as the effectiveness of the programs themselves. Stage 2 will be announced after Stage 1 completion.

I've come across an interesting publication made by Harvard and MIT professors.


It is a longread in which they say that electronic voting system (especially blockchain- powered) has a great number of vulnerabiities and don't meet minimal security requirements.

What do you think guys? These professors were aiming to sabotage the 2020 president elections results, but somehow they hurt my feelings)  In my opinion,  blockchain- powered voting system is the most transparent and secure one. I think that this technology gives people a chance to have fair elections and tell objective opinions.
