2303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Battle of supremacy between Dogecoin and Shiba Inu on: October 08, 2021, 11:01:09 PM
I don't think there is any battle between dogecoin and Shiba Inu, regardless if the two crypto-currency has a resemblance with the dog logo, I think dogecoin which was shot into space by the billionaire Elon musk influence, and them became one of the biggest crypto-currency regret of 2021 to those who didn't buy it, Shiba Inu honestly shared from the success of dogecoin, because those who had that regret this year, thinking of the resemblance between dogecoin and Shiba Inu, started to get more Shiba Inu because of the future uncertainty of what the crypto-currency would do, I don't have any Shiba or dogecoin, but dogecoin is Among five alt-coins I would get when I decide to get some alt-coins.
2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: October 08, 2021, 06:23:54 PM
I checked squads and starting elevens, Türkiye odd is very good but I understand why is that. There are big risks, in the defense we will see Serdar Aziz and Merih Demiral, it's not an ideal tandem. Ozan and Berat in the midfield, looks a little weak to me. Kerem Aktürkoğlu is a pretty poor choice. I hope Türkiye win because I want to watch them in World Cup but this eleven don't look too bright to me. Burak Yılmaz should score today, we need him very much. Hakan Çalhanoğlu should put a good performance as well.
Although the odds for turkey to win is at 2.57 I do not think they would win Norway, I would be placing my bet on Norway to win them and the 3.00+ is very exciting and. Matches I would be placing my bets on in today's euro world cup qualifiers are, Russia to win slovakia at home, czech republic and wales would be a draw then just including Germany to win Romania and over 2.5 this are my tonight prediction.
2305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The HODL to 100K movement on: October 08, 2021, 04:17:13 PM
Anyone have views on this movement that seems to be gathering pace last few days?

The basic concept I believe is that if we all act in unity, and collectively pledge to Hodl, then with continued demand (and far lower liquidity due to everyone hodling) the price will move in a sustained upwards direction. The "game theory" being who breaks the pledge first as they "selfishly" trade. So you take the pledge and spread the word to others.

Personally I like the idea and "get it". I'm a hodler and will do my part. But the "traders" seem almost offended at such a proposal.

Personally, I think a lot of traders kid themselves about being able to profitably trade. The only guaranteed winner on trades is of course the exchange, which over time sucks money out of the crypto ecosystem, much like a rake on a poker table.

I would post the image that can be circulated if you take the hodl 100 pledge but no idea how to post pix here.  Huh

I use Bitcoin now to pay for my data service, since my data vendor now accepts crypto-currency, I also do some of my school research work paying the cyber cafe attendant in crypto-currency, and to me it has been exciting, this is what interests me about crypto-currency and to to hodl when I probably need to get somethings done, regardless I don't think everyone will be in on it, still many are already hodl till $1million.
2306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: October 07, 2021, 07:55:16 PM
Goooaal. 1-0 to Belgium. It's quite impressive how Belgium set the tempo of their game throughout the first half and I'm quite satisfied with the performance they put in today in the match. And now Lukaku has listed his name on the scoreboard as well. France really should be in the match vs Italy if they don't improve their concentration in the second half.
I think since after the won the world cup france has lost some much will to play like they did in the world cup and the Euro competition that they lost to portugal In the finals, even if they lost in the finals I think they played the competition better than the winners portugal, but since they won the world cup they haven't been that France anymore, I don't know the problem, they have more players now, too many I think I would not want to be the one to select the first team, but with that much talent in the blue shirt they haven't done much after the world cup.
2307  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: October 07, 2021, 06:32:28 PM

Una see how the thing come be this night again as our super chickens no fit beat common Central African Republic for Nations Cup Qualifier for our home ground o. Our home ground o. When this people go stop to de disgrace this country like this sef. The thing na big shame. I hear say Karl Namnganda, the player we score against us na for 2019 na him e score last for their national team. Na for Nigeria we match rusty players de become active players and sharp shooters. We don suffer.
I really dey disappointed with the nigerian football team, how we go dey think to qualify to the world cup and dey lose at home to central republic, I no sure say majority of the players from that country na full time professional footballer, e really dey choke me as I dey talk am, but I realize something we no be better supporters, nigeria don win two of their last qualifiers but you no go see any body say congratulations super eagles but once them lose e go be as if we dey wait on them to lose before now, omo make we dey support dem, even PSG lose their last league game, so did Baryern Munich, na football be that.
2308  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: October 04, 2021, 02:31:13 PM

I totally understand where  you dey come from my brother, and na truth you talk, but wetin I want make you understand be say, (na something wey I don talk before) even if make this country come good as me and you want, trust me, people go still dey wey no go fit afford 3 square meal per day, check USA and every other big countries, they all get poor citizens wey if you check am well, them too dey live for abject poverty, but the difference be say, their number no high as e be for Nigeria, and again, the ones wey get money for those big countries dey always see am as a duty to give out something, no matter how small, to the poor on weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis, this na something wey only very few Nigerian big men dey do.

My brother if you fit bring USA into a context for here then you no know wetin I dey talk about, infact I no day like to talk about how poverty infested nigeria is an person go talk say poor people also dey USA. Omo there is no wey you fit compare am, do you know the US government dey give parents wey get pikin of a certain age money to take care of the pikin, money that's up to $300, average what is the salary working in nigeria, basic amenities we no get, ok make we manage the poverty, with light, water and good road but we no see, but for US them dey make road wey go last till another generation, I no go let you support this leaders by sugar coating wetin we dey see for naija.
2309  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: what faucet is with common examples on: October 03, 2021, 09:05:32 PM
Have you tried one and got rewarded 4 satoshi if you solve the captcha every hour? Faucets are not profitable. If bitcoin is $50000, you get rewarded 4 sat every captcha you solved every one hour, that will amount to $0.002 every hour. Is that not a waste of time? You will have to solve it 500 times to earn just $1 and that will take days if not weeks.
The OP has researched on faucet and has a good definition about faucet on his post, but I wonder why still suggesting it to -Newbies- I have heard people thinking crypto-currency is a scam after accumulating coins from faucet that was miserable/small and they restricted them from withdrawing it. And I would not think the love for free Bitcoin like faucet, is what encourages Ponzi schemes in  crypto-currency, scam give away.
2310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE CRYPTO MARKET IS SO RICH AND SATURATED on: October 03, 2021, 07:21:37 PM
During the corona pandemic we saw the price of oil go below zero many statistically would have said Bitcoin would do even worse, but the pandemic didn't have the best of the crypto-currency market, you are predicting or assuming, and prediction fails, am not eager to buy in the dip anymore, and we may not see a dip as low as $20k dollars, by how the crypto-currency adoption is, but no one saw 2020 coming with a pandemic, no one saw bitcoin reaching $60+ this year, we don't see all this regardless of experience and knowledge.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 03, 2021, 06:20:24 PM

The final result was a draw, I didn't expect it. As we can see, Manchester City had a lot of chances to score in both the first and second half. It is something that is not wanted where the players do not manage to score goals when they have the opportunity. It's a bit disappointing, but lucky both teams didn't lose. Manchester City have conceded only 3 goals in 7 match in the Premier League so far. This shows that they are a team with a strong defense and only Chelsea can match this statistic.
I must say manchester united and Liverpool gave a Micheal Jackson musical performance of a match, it's always a trill when pep and klopp meets, to bad for Liverpool fans that kevin debruyne had to stop them from having the three points, I like to see big match end this way rather than 0:0, but I think pep would look harder for a striker like halland I think aguero in his prime in the match to today for Manchester city then city would have all three points.
2312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iranian Bitcoin Mining Ban Lifted after four Months on: October 03, 2021, 04:52:51 PM
It's good that the ban was lifted, but what does it mean that only licensed miners can come back to their activities? I mean, what are the tax implications, does the license cost anything and what other requirements they must go through? I think it's important to know the details because if the regulations are tough, it might be that mining is effectively out of reach, but only formally allowed to come back. Paying the electricity bills and some reasonable taxes is one thing, but obtaining a license, establishing headquarters and reporting regularly to the authorities would be very different.
I think the iranian government hasn't accepted  Bitcoin mining, but have deliberated about the ban they placed and how it has made them looked in the face of a changing digital world, I think the next thing is to remove the ban and place a requirement to mining of Bitcoin, I really wonder how hard it would be to actually get the said license to be allowed to mine Bitcoin in iran, many miners won't really buy the idea of getting licensed some want to remain an anonymous Miner, so the numbers of bitcoin miners in Iran are cut.
2313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 03, 2021, 02:39:36 PM
Epic fail!
The fluctuating Rennes was able to win vs the used to be unstoppable PSG... I feel there was some underestimation on the opponents or kind of hype for their performance.. Anyway PSG still has a solid points difference for now.
I always thought PSG wasn't unstoppable after watching the way they have been winning, sometimes it take a break of luck or a late winner, I knew it will not continue for long, Neymar, Messi and mbappe are only names if they don't have a connection with one or two fantastic mid-fielders this is what made Barcelona great even before Messi,. Suarez and neymar formed MSN, PSG need that in their team.
2314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: October 03, 2021, 02:31:47 PM
Brentford is the replica of what Leeds was last season, I placed another bet on them this weekend, and they are away from home and still winning am really excited about this club, but we have seen some one season wonder and the next season they flop, in recent times we saw it with the blades sheffield United which the performed well on their return and flopped the next season we seeing it with leeds now, so if Brentford go on this exciting return they should learn from the other two clubs.

I no understand why my country people go dey hala my governor build roads/bridges etc as if them do una any favors, this na the most basic things them fit do for us and we day jollificate because of am. An onto the E-naira mata, I Know say d thing go fail even before them launch am, make the country first launch our normal naira from the ground wey e dey to a better levels before them launch any crypto-currency.
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zimbabwe minister urges citizens to embrace Bitcoin on: October 03, 2021, 11:59:27 AM
Many countries struggle with poverty, a quickly devaluing national currency & crime. Bitcoin will save them & make them prosperous, thriving countries. So many of the bad things in the world will be saved by adopting bitcoin. Bitcoin = No War.
I haven't thought Bitcoin to be the world's deliverance of all conditions affecting the world like a chronic disease, if so zimbabwe or anything under developed countries government adopts Bitcoin/crypto-currency I don't think their economy/poverty level will change if the government don't end corrupt practices/embezzlement, Bitcoin won't end that, I have adopted crypto-currency personally, but I don't think I will be better financially if I don't work, digital asset isn't going to make the world prosperous if all the decadence of the world continues.
2317  Economy / Economics / Re: E-Naira: CBN to launches Nigeria’s digital currency on: October 02, 2021, 08:29:06 PM
The best thing that could happen to the government of Nigeria is to abandon their project now and not suffer the indignity of no one using their coin for anything, even if the adoption of cryptocurrencies has grown all over the world, the majority of the ones using it are still doing so as a reaction to what is happening with the economy, they are using it specifically to avoid using the currencies the government create and issuing yet another centralized currency is not going to make people to flock to it and use it.
The only way the E-naira can get adoption massively is if the nigerian government force an adoption plan on the citizens of Nigeria, If not I don't think it will be adopted, nigerian aren't fools we know how bad the leadership is, at least to the level of not trusting the potential of the E-naira for now, but an excited for one thing the government noticing nigerians are crypto-enthusiast and even after a ban we didn't become any less than we were, so I think the E-naira is the government failed attempt on controlling our enthusiasm in crypto-currency.
2318  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: October 02, 2021, 07:07:28 PM

Thank you very much boss man, I really appreciate your comment and stand for the matter,  make I talk true, before before, I follow for people wey dey always bad mouth Nigeria unto say our leaders no dey perform well, but of recent, God open my understanding to realize that even as bad as we think say Nigeria be, we still dey survive, many people still dey live fine, we still dey go market and we still dey afford to buy food, we still dey afford to pay our rent(for those of us still living in a rented apartments) we still dey afford to pay our children school fees even as high as it is, we still dey afford to dress well whenever we dey go out, some of us still dey buy expensive cars self, houses, you name it, we still dey afford to buy fuel put for our generator, some still dey afford to enter bar, spend so much on food, drinks, pepper soup and others.

If we look all this things, we get more than enough reason to be grateful to God, our being born in Nigeria no be mistake ooh, shebi God tell us in Deuteronomy 8 verse 18 say make we no ever forget say na him dey give us power to make wealth and riches, which mean say, even if make the country dey ok as we think, those wey God never give that power go still dey poor, so our duty is to always pray for our country and to always extend helping hands to others when we get the opportunity cus this things na privilege wey God give us say as we dey do am, we go dey receive more blessing from him.
I greet you well my brother, wetin you talk make sense and I really like am, but my brother make you reason with me, you dey talk about "we" like my brother the country is bad yes it is, and for real na efforts and education, knowledge way dey keep us going, but do you know there are some people wey dey live in abject poverty, those are the people feeling it, those wey no fit eat better food even for one time meal, those wey no get any accommodation over there head, we don see the philanthropic works of some well meaning nigerian, I go use cryptoprenurbrainboss as an example, it's wen you one give you go know say people dey suffer for the country and the leaders nothing concern them.

What are the things not to do on the Bitcointalk forum?

Hi everybody? I am very new to this forum.
Actually I have known this forum for a long time. However, it is only now that it interests me to join here.

The purpose of this post is I want to know what things are prohibited in this forum?

What is a serious offense and what is a minor offense?

Maybe in the future, my questions in this post will help new members who also have the same questions as me.

Thank you.
Greetings all.

2320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 02, 2021, 04:13:05 PM
What a play from Chelsea for the second goal but it was all created by one pass from Ross Barkley who made a sweet pass to Azpilicueta on the right and the cross was perfect for the two strikers hanging inside to just tuck the ball in. It was the first touch of Ross Barkley after getting substituted in and it was first goal for Werner in this PL season. Really that pass deserved a result and it did.  Smiley
Tuchel knows his players, I think this much of him, before the match begun I criticized some of his selection but at the end I think he is a manager that needs his authority to do his coaching job, and his changes made instant contributions for the blues, I felt bad for chiwell when he conceded the penalty from his reckless tackle but oh did he have the last smile over southampton with a marcos alonso technique of a goal, congrats to timo am excited for him.
