2301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 24, 2021, 10:19:15 PM
Real Madrid draw made them sing the farewell song for the LaLiga greatly .
There was logic in bringing the names that entered the second half, but they were not enough to achieve the most important victory of this season after losing 45 minutes without meaning .
Real Betis with its high quality strangled Madrid and prevented tgem from controlling and pressing Real Madrid could not enter the ball So much, thus preventing the sources of scoring and danger .
In my opinion, the dream of the title has ended and it will be more likely in Barcelona hands at the end of the season.
Until recently, after winning El Classico and losing Atletico points, many already hung the championship gold on Real Madrid Wink If Atletico Madrid and Barcelona had already won their matches in this round, then I would agree with you a little, but their matches are still ahead and anything can happen, especially ahead of 5 rounds. Let's not forget that Real Madrid won both matches of the championship against Barcelona, and Atletico won the match and made a draw, but the championship is given for matches with all clubs and the last rounds of the championship will put everything in its place. Let's not forget that Atletico Madrid and Barcelona still play each other and one of them will definitely lose their points, which is in favor of Real Madrid. Another question is that if you do not use your chances, then there will be no title.
2302  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: April 23, 2021, 11:56:59 PM
i dont know why people are thinking that bitcoin will kill the existence of central banks? do they have solid basis on why they think about this scenario? i do agree, bitcoin will just be an alternative option to people, the adoption may grow thru the years but as a replacement to fiat? i dont think so.
people should be realistic with the situation. not because you are now a crypto user, you think, btc will kill the usage of fiat??? wake up people!
It's just that some people do not fully understand what normal and stable public administration is, what central banks are really needed for, and that's why they express such ideas Wink Some ideal world without state structures, which when necessary are engaged in the suppression of excessive freedom of citizens, of course, can take place on our planet, but in the end leads to bad results for the citizens themselves in the face of chaos and lawlessness. Therefore, central banks in any form will always have a place to control the financial system of the state and this is a sufficiently effective system for such management, tested by time and circumstances.
2303  Economy / Economics / Re: Markets taking profit on: April 23, 2021, 11:30:43 PM
Correct me if I am wrong, but in the last two months, Bitcoin price had crazy ups and downs... a few times we saw a rise over $60k, drop to around $50k, and then rise again! Well, it's a free market, people (individuals, groups, organizations, corporations...) are free to do what they want!
So who is taking profit!? Who bought a long time before is still in profit! And when the price is dropping it's not time for taking profits, it's time for shorting! Who is shorting?! Well, should I say it again... it's a free market, everyone is free to try it! And I guess some have luck, some don't.... it's a market, free or not someone is always short!
The market can be absolutely free only in the case of the very beginning, when the players have approximately an equal amount of financial resources and then if the state does not interfere in the situation in the person of the financial regulator Wink In other cases, absolute freedom in the market can not occur in principle, because those who have a significant share in the market begin to try to dictate their terms and very often it turns out to do so. Therefore, there is more of a philosophy of how free we are in this world; D Here is the whole question of how confident you are, because a big profit involves big risks and vice versa, a small profit does not require big risks, but is also more stable.
2304  Economy / Economics / Re: What's Next? After Bitcoin Passes The 60K Mark...... on: April 23, 2021, 11:15:54 PM
That's a wrong perception, trading is only profitable if you are good and not all traders are profitable, bitcoin is helpful as an investment and a payment system but it should not be viewed as an easy profit generating machine as your fate in crypto depends on how you handle yourself.
I absolutely agree with you that due to the huge volatility of cryptocurrencies, calculated in tens or even hundreds of percent, there are two possible possibilities: just as it is really easy to make money, it is also very easy to lose your investment. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly remind new people about this, who come to the market and after losing a lot, then become disillusioned with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for the rest of their lives. Therefore, only the constant search for new knowledge and new information can help to avoid many of the losses that are typical for beginners. By the way, I think that the current drawdown of the bitcoin price in the region of 50,000 is a very significant milestone and if the price goes below this mark, we can see a correction of the exchange price by tens of thousands of dollars.
2305  Economy / Economics / Re: FINALLY ALL MONETARY AUTHORITIES IN THE WORLD WILL ADOPT BITCOIN on: April 23, 2021, 10:58:24 PM
thats why, even two decades from now, we will still have our fiat as main means of financial transaction. i dont think btc or any other crypto will dominate the financial area. maybe the adoption will increase but it will just co-exist with fiat. dont think that the govt will fully abandon the use of fiat. thats not gonna happen. just my 2 cents.
and the OP is misleading users by his title thread. a lot of countries are still treating bitcoin as illegal like bolivia, bangladesh and iran. just to name a few.
Bitcoin will dominate the financial sphere only if states take it under full financial control, and I don't see any real reason for this, because there are already well-established traditional fiat currencies for such purposes. Also, if bitcoin comes under the full financial control of the state, then it will no longer be bitcoin with its some degree of independence from the traditional financial system and bitcoin will no longer be of interest to ordinary people.
2306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? on: April 12, 2021, 11:58:08 PM
Fiat is backed by debt nowadays, subject to the negative effects of inflation over the long term. When Fiat was backed by Gold, people used to have greater spending power. Now, it's all the contrary since your money becomes worthless as time goes by. That's not the case with Bitcoin. We could say that the pioneer cryptocurrency resembles Gold since its supply is extremely limited. A deflationary model should make Bitcoin much more valuable in the long run. This gives people greater spending power in terms of Fiat. The only issue would be having to deal with Bitcoin's price volatility in the short term.
Nonetheless, I believe that Bitcoin has more benefits than Fiat itself. Yet, most people use Fiat because it's the standard type of currency for debts public and private. It's backed by the government, so this gives Fiat a greater degree of credibility/trust than Bitcoin itself. A person can decide to use Fiat on top of Bitcoin or both for his/her own benefit. As long as the cryptocurrency remains decentralized, nothing else matters. Just my thoughts Grin
Debt and high inflation are a completely different story and the fiat currency is not the root cause of this. Each instrument can be used for different purposes and with different efficiency, and the fiat currency is undoubtedly an instrument in the economic policy of any state. The deflationary model shows itself well when exiting crisis situations, but the inflationary model is more suitable for stimulating economic activity. Another issue is that there are limits to the use of the inflationary model, and national governments are often too keen on this, devaluing the savings of citizens. Bitcoin, thanks to its deflationary model, seems to be better about this, but the problem is that bitcoin is purely ideologically not secured by anything and focuses only on supply and demand, unlike fiat currencies, which are backed by a state mechanism. Therefore, it is necessary to approach loud statements with caution and take into account that bitcoin can cost a lot, but also not cost anything.
2307  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: April 12, 2021, 11:52:47 PM
Well.. I don't think that we have that luxury. Right now, around 8 vaccines are being used by multiple nations (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Janssen, Sinovac, Sinopharm and CanSino). There are a few more, such as the ones from Bharat Biotech and Vector Institute that are being limited to usage in a single country. I have no problem in inoculating everyone with the same vaccine. But the problem is that we don't have enough doses to do that. And even with 8-10 different vaccines, only a small part of the world population has been completely vaccinated till now.
It's just that this pandemic came quite unexpectedly and the world was not ready for such a scale. Therefore, the development, and most importantly, the production and distribution of vaccines need time and money, as well as, oddly enough, political will. When faced with such a threat, there is still a political squabble about the distribution and production of the vaccine. The world will certainly defeat the pandemic, but it will take time for the necessary number of people to be vaccinated, and in the meantime we will have to put up with the inconvenience and hope for the best.
2308  Economy / Economics / Re: The One World Currency: Is it Bitcoin? on: April 12, 2021, 11:36:13 PM
It is said that Bitcoin is the precursor of the "One World Currency" that will be used in a "One World Government". In the past, it has been predicted that a "One World Currency" would come into fruition as the current monetary system collapses in its entirety.
The current 'collapse of the current world currency' and the 'one world government'. Are these these predictions feasible? Do we really think this would ever happen because, I don't see how the world would be bounded in a single government. With all the racial segregation and other nations looking the other one as gold diggers fir which an alians with them would imply death to the countries economy,,, this is just a speculation though but, I strongly doubt the possibility of a one world government nor the collapse of the current monetary system. The re might be modifications but, not a collapse.  Better still would be a collaboration or the two, cryptos and fiat.
I also believe that the viability of the idea of a world currency and a world government is questionable in the current conditions. There are too many contradictions between different states in politics, too different levels of economic development, different conditions for the functioning of the economy to be able to agree on something like this. Even after the two previous world wars in the last century, this did not happen and will not happen now. The monetary system of the world is in crisis, but the world currency will not help.
2309  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after the pandemic on: April 12, 2021, 11:24:57 PM
Yeah.. the governments were just looking for an excuse to start printing money like crazy and they got it. Take the case of United States. The latest stimulus amount to $2 trillion!!! Can you believe it? $2 trillion in banknotes created out of thin air. And US is not the only country. A majority of the world nations (irrespective of whether they are developed nations or the developing ones) have announced big stimulus measures. This is just crazy.
About printing an extra amount of money to overcome the pandemic is not the worst option, because lockdowns stop the economy, and the state needs to pay its expenses and support its citizens. The most important problem with the economic policy of modern states is that many statesmen believe that printing a large amount of money solves all problems. By the way, I myself believe that the reasonable printing of additional money has a beneficial effect on stimulating economic growth, another question is that excessive enthusiasm for such things gives less and less effect, and eventually ceases to work at all.
2310  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: April 12, 2021, 11:11:00 PM
Several years ago, maybe yes, I personally only thought that investment is only for the rich man because they have much money to buy property, gold, stocks, and also other investment.
However, after knowing cryptocurrency, my mind has changed and I know the meaning of investment.
If you say that investment in bitcoin is also for Richman only, we may not be fully sure because everybody can get their starting amount to invest. I know that the more you invest, the more you profit. But it doesn't mean that we cannot invest although the amount is small enough, We can start from small and becomes big and big again.
Investments can be made with modest incomes and savings, but another question is that this requires desire and patience, because there are always necessary things that you would like to save and spend, and many people take out loans for this. If a person is willing to make investments, then investing in bitcoin is a good option because of the low investment entry threshold, because the stock market entry threshold is higher. The most important thing is to take into account the high volatility of bitcoin and, because of this, the high risk of investment.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 12, 2021, 08:59:56 PM
Liverpool securing a champions league spot is still very much possible given the last 7 fixtures of the season. It would be really bad if we don't make the cut at the end of the season so I do hope that Klopp will be able to get us there. If possible, I'd like if we could get all 21 points from the 7 games but it's not an easy task to accomplish given the current state of our team.  From the look of things we might not survive our UCL clash against Real Madrid. A champions league exit should help us focus more on getting to 4th position.
Everything is in the hands and feet of the Liverpool players and the position in the standings is quite favorable, but to solve the problem of getting into the top four, you need to stabilize the results, because Liverpool has already broken a lot of anti-records both intra-club and at the championship level. As for Klopp, I would like to say that according to the available information, Bayern are interested in him, because Flick can lead the German national team at the end of the season. Another question is that it seems that Klopp himself said that after leaving Liverpool he would like to take a break from coaching.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 12, 2021, 08:42:36 PM
In the first leg bayern definitely was the better and dominating team but PSG managed to score 4 goals out of 3 shots at the target while bayern missed a lot of chances therefore PSG has now an advantage.
Another factor that could play into the hands of psg is that there are a lot of rumours around Hansi Flick at the moment. According to some german sports news stations bayern is already looking for a new coach for the next season, which is pretty crazy because Flick had maximum success.
It seems that Salihamidzic and Flick just can't stand each other therefore one of them has to go.
This situation isn't helpful if you have a important match tomorrow.
I don't think that not the best relationship between Salihamidzic and Flick will play a decisive role in the outcome of a separate match against Bayern. In the end, Flick in any case has exactly the players that are available at this point in time and Salihamidzic can not prevent or help in this particular match. On the one hand, Flick achieves excellent results in working with the team, but on the other hand, the coach encroaches on the current management model of the club, when the head coach works with the material that the selection department of the club supplies. In any case, in favor of PSG, three goals scored away from home and Bayern need to score at least two goals, which is quite difficult.
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season ending in may ? on: April 11, 2021, 11:55:27 PM
He has no basis of deducing that alt season is ending in the next coming month. He is just basing in his past experience, which has no bearing anymore in this current market. No one can tell what will be happening next. But how things are going today, I don't think alt season is ending. And also, it depends on the alts he is referring to. Maybe those crappy ones will really end but the top ones will continue to soar in the market.
Ultimately, everything depends on the behavior of the exchange rate price of bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin continues to grow or at least remains at this level, then the prospects for growth for altcoins are not bad. But if the price of bitcoin corrects in the near future, the price of altcoins will fall by even greater levels. Judging from previous experience, the summer was usually a quiet season for cryptocurrencies, but due to the ongoing pandemic, the situation in these two years is unique and therefore it is necessary to carefully extrapolate past trends to the current situation.
2314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 11, 2021, 11:36:26 PM
There are not have team could be like Real Madrid can be the champion of UEFA champion league twice and Bayern I think will failed from PSG, loss three goal and need win more than two goal make Bayern look difficult on second leg, how ever they get bad result on last match after draw with Union Berlin. Maybe need miracle how Bayern can win from PSG above two goal and not any goal scoring by PSG.
I consider PSG to be the favorite against Bayern, including because of the result of the first match, but I would not be very surprised if Bayern can achieve the desired result, given the potential and strength of the German club, so PSG fans should not celebrate their team's entry into the next round of the Champions League in advance. I hope I don't have to remind you of the previous fiasco in the second leg against Barcelona in 2017 Wink And then the gap in the score was bigger...
2315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 11, 2021, 11:23:23 PM
In the case of Alonso or MSC (father) yes they get big sponsorships, but that's because of their talent. Ferrari doesn't really need the money, they will never take a driver for the money he brings, they will take the driver that fits their needs best. Usually they want the best driver they can get, and a good second driver. Doesn't always work out that way.
Same for teams like Mercedes, RBR, Alpine, that have big, rich companies behind them.
It's just that in the big and rich teams it's not so obvious and they really look more at the talent of the driver, but I don't think that any big Formula 1 team will refuse additional sponsors that will come with or for the sake of the driver, and all other things being equal, this will be an extra plus for the driver. For example, Albon appeared in Red Bull thanks to Thai sponsors, and now a similar story happened with Tsunoda in Alpha Tauri. Also, let's not forget that the British Ineos came to Mercedes, including because of Hamilton.
2316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 11, 2021, 11:07:16 PM
I've read an article saying that the problem PSG has is that the talent pool of footballers in France is so good and so well exploited, that they get poached to other European clubs. That's an interesting thought.
Well, this problem does not directly concern PSG, it is rather a story about the wealth of the other French clubs. It's just that it has long been the custom that French clubs are not as rich as English or Spanish clubs, and therefore these clubs constantly attract talented French players. PSG stands out from the general row, thanks to its rich owners, the sheikhs, but still the authority and European titles are more in the English and Spanish clubs. Therefore, for example, Mbappe wants to leave the club for a more titled Real Madrid, but there was information that PSG would like to invite Salah to replace him.
2317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 11, 2021, 10:52:39 PM
Who still doubts that Real Madrid is going to be champions of Laliga once more...! Atletico Madrid just thurst to the wind there chance of being champions of the league this season. What rubbish! They were several points ahead of other teams and now, its just 1 point difference across the first 3 spots on the league table. Its going to be very difficult for them to maintain this current position with this pattern of play. All Real Madrid and Barcelona is waiting on now is that single mistake that would push them down and just like that, you would find Real Madrid most of all as champions of the Laliga again.
Doubts still remain, because Barcelona, despite losing in El Clasico, is still in the championship race and is only one point behind Real Madrid  Wink Atletico could have taken advantage of Real Madrid's win and kept the lead, but they didn't. Whatever we say, but the gap of one point still remains and Atletico is also still a contender for the title, and thanks to its position in the standings, it is still the main contender for the title, although of course the recent results and constant loss of points are bad for the confidence of the players of Atletico.
2318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 10, 2021, 11:58:31 PM
Bayern most probably wanted to focus more on the second leg in the CL rather than this league match. They were already comfortable in the table and they didn't want to give their 100 percent in this match. The CL is very important for them as their goal is to win the title.
I'm also happy to see that Dortmund managed to be victorious against Stuttgart. They will be more motivated against City for certain.
Looking back on Bayern's previous matches, some may regret that Bayern were the first to open the scoring, rather than conceding first to tip the cup of the match in their favor Wink Knowing the uncompromising and maximalism, as well as the depth of the composition of the Bayern team, it is hard to believe in the economy of forces. Moreover, the return goal was conceded at the end of the match. But yes, the stakes are high because Bayern will need to score at least two goals for two goals in the away match at PSG. As for Manchester City, I don't know, the players there are probably angry about losing to Leeds in extra time and Borussia should not count on the complacent mood of Guardiola's wards.
2319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 10, 2021, 11:45:10 PM
Yeah it was a great El Clasico! I wish Ronaldo was still here at Real Madrid now. But they still managed to defeat Barcelona. And they beat Barcelona in both games in this season which was a big success for them. Even if Atletico win their game, the title race will still be awesome to follow.  Grin
Real Madrid won not only the second match of the season, but three consecutive El Classico matches, which has not happened since 1978. I would also like to say that despite Ronaldo's departure from the Spanish championship, his spirit continues to hover in El Classico, because Messi has not scored against Real Madrid in Ronaldo's absence for 7 consecutive matches  Wink The last time was on May 6, 2018, when both Messi and Ronaldo scored.
2320  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: April 10, 2021, 11:32:06 PM
Covid has been so tough for all of us for more than a year now and vaccines' effectivity has been in doubt because there were some claims of death after the shot from the vaccines.
Now, If you want to avoid being vaccinated just don't work in any government or private company offices , because they will soon implement a mandatory vaccinations for the employees. Work from home instead, not all of us knew how to trade. So, focusing in crypto might not be ideal for everyone.
As for the effectiveness of vaccines, I would like to say the following: no vaccine guarantees one hundred percent effectiveness, and no vaccine guarantees immortality and getting rid of other diseases that a person has. The main objective of vaccines is to reduce the incidence of coronavirus and, as a result, to reduce the number of complications and mortality among the population. Therefore, we should not pin unrealistic hopes on vaccination, but we should not underestimate the importance of vaccination for curbing the pandemic and returning to normal life.
