2301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Hashbet.com // Decentralized Games Based On Smart Contracts on: April 27, 2023, 01:31:53 PM
Welcome onboard OP, your website graphics are good and well designed. I think you got a good team for that.

I noticed you have not been able to respond to any of the questions asked and you have not been online since you made this post which is not a good sign of a new casino looking for participants. If we are to go by this then it will mean that there would be lapses in your customer care service in time to come because from your actions we could tell how it is going to be. For you to ignore your business here for this time interval without checking then it means you do not value our time making comments, reviews and contributions which is of more value to your organization. Let me remind you here that constant activeness here tells us how serious you are with your business here. If you take the platform serious, the platform would take your business serious but if you ignore then it will be a vice versa thing.

I will advise you to be constantly checking on your thread as I see this thread to be your official announcement thread OP.

Lastly, as mentioned in other replies, there are some managers mentioned that you could contact for your  campaign management. They are of good reputation here and have years of experience working here for successful casino projects. You can contact any of them for your casino promotion as you will have big names already existing here to contend with.
2302  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 27, 2023, 01:12:07 PM
As long as there's a risk involved and it is some kind of prediction, win or lose type of games, then I would always consider it as a form of gambling.
Sometimes even if it's not directly money as long as it have a value and it is being risk then yes it is gambling.
Exactly mate and I couldn't agree any less with you but I think the very type of game the op was talking about wasn't having any risk especially with regards to the player and I don't think the player has any form of loss, I mean the player doesn't have anything entirely to lose and I think the superpicks is actually trying to achieve a firm of marketing.
I've always known gambling as a very risky business that has to do with losing of money and if one isn't scared if losing anything then it isn't gambling from my perspective.

Same thought too. I see gambling as a risky exercise though and it requires a commitment which can be in the form of cash or a collateral if anything happens otherwise. If one says he or she gambled then you should ask them what was their commitment to the process but if they did not commit anything for the game then know that it is not a gamble exercise but just a mere game for leisure because they had no commitment to the game and therefore have no fear of loosing anything at that stand.

Sometimes commitment to gambling can not only be money, it might involve other means like car, house, groceries etc to be put inline for the process. I say this because I have witnessed this here in my country on many occasions where a game is about to kick start and you see friends start betting with their wristwatches, cars and some tangible  assets for their preferred team.

With all these experience and knowledge about gambling and betting, I concluded that  gambling exercise involves something tangible to be used otherwise and if there are no commitment, then the exercise can not be termed a gamble.
2303  Economy / Services / Re: (5 Spots open) Join Revolut under my link & get €25 in cash or crypto on: April 27, 2023, 12:16:21 PM
OP I checked your profile and discovered that you are a new bie with just few activities and no reputation here which would be very difficult for you to scale through. From the looks, seems your are running a refferal affiliate marketing for the organization.

I saw this while reading through;
"Complete the sign-up process and pass our onboarding checks. If you don't meet our requirements, you won't be eligible for the reward."
does it mean that you request for kyc indirectly before deeming a registered members for for the bonus rewards attached? Why I said kyc because of the words used by you as "onboarding checks" and it is otherwise a kyc process.

And lastly, I do not mean to discredit your product and Services, but it is obvious this is the kind of format scammers do use  to lure their unsuspecting participants to falling victim of their acts.
2304  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: April 27, 2023, 12:00:35 PM
in any gambling you must to experience loss he must also experience profit so when these things one of them happened it is you will know your stand of the kind of game you are playing with and sometimes when you lose a game it will make you to understand your fault your asses so the next that you play proper time to verify the game before playing the game that is how gambling works
Even you have verify the game is using provably fair, you're still not have 100% guarantee to win. Losing in gambling doesn't make you will able to win easily on the next time, it's only limited for few games like poker. If you gamble on slots game, you're not learn anything from your win or loss. In sports, you're also not learn anything, first you bet your team will win, but the result is lose. But in the next match you bet on your rival team, but the result your team are win.

In every game played, there must be a winner and there must be a loser but it's not all about winning and losing but of sportsmanship, your ability to take responsibility and accept the results as it is when the final whistle is blown by the umpire irrespective of what happened through during the process of gaming. Either way, you must be on one side of the game as to declare your stand.

In all, like I already said in my previous post and from most post I have read here I really do not think betting is a waste of time because for one to know, one must learn and in this case, I would say that irrespective of the nature of the game one place a bet on, wether one wins or loses the bet, there are still things to learn from that bet and the bettors eyes would be opened to some new techniques on how to bet.

In all, no bet is a waste.

What I found Odd here is that why prevent your self from asking your cousin directly since you mentioned that he is at this in long and having good at it?
is there any specific reason why need to ask this forum instead of asking him as he is your relative and if there will be more concern about your needs(as this is about money) is this kind of people?
those who are closer to us more than what we can gain here in this forum?
but to answer your post directly, this is sports betting and the very first thing that you need to learn is the sports itself, be familiarized about the team or players that involved in this , so you will be updated in which the opponent and what is the advantage of each others against one.
try to understand boxing and UFC first mate before putting money and bet because no matter what people here says? it is still your money that at stake here and also choose a best sports site betting for this plans.

I see nothing wrong in OP asking questions about boxing here. By the way, isn't this platform here to aid us gain more knowledge and experience in where we do not have bothering games and betting and bitcoin?  If OP needs guidelines for that those who are ready and willing will do so without hesitating in rendering assistance to OP.

If truly OP avoided his cousin as he has said as reported by you here, there must be a reason for doing that and another, maybe he has gotten knowledge already a d would want to still get prepared for it by coming here to ask or seek foe help as it bothers boxing games. So it is in our position to help OP out if we have the knowledge about OP questions.

Going by OP familiarizing with the boxing sports, I concur to that because that is one of he ways OP could get more information and knowledge about boxing games and how it operates so as to know who to bet for when gaming.
2306  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I was scammed to invest and left with a watch only wallet on: April 26, 2023, 10:48:45 PM
I'm not sure if there's anything I can do but I invested allot (all I have) in "forex" and it turns out to be a scam. I was left with a 'watch only' wallet. Any advice?

It is so painful one loosing his hard earned resources to scammers and fraud not to talk of when you had hope if investment to earn more income only to find out that what you hand invested in turns out to be a scam as against your initial thoughts. How devastating that could be. I know how you feel OP. So sorry about your experience.

Kindly do well to update your thread with the website so we could know if there is any help that could be of importance here and also other details pertaining to the transaction as to keep members abreast of they should encounter such in the nearest future so they could know some one already posted it and warned about the activities of the scammers. Atleast that could save many people here so as not to fall victim of such scam sites.
2307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: April 26, 2023, 08:10:16 PM
I start developing an interest in Boxing and UFC matches when I visited a relative, he is so into these types of sports and he seems to know a lot about it, by I have to keep myself from asking him what and what I should do to know more about such sports, I have this in mind to be able to make some bets or gamble on such sports, my problem is I don't know how, if anyone is into such sports where should I begin? Any special UFC or Boxing platform where I can read news and updates about such sports?

How do you bet on such games? What are the things to be on the lookout for? Because I believe this is different from football ⚽, I also don't have access to satellite dish like my relative does, this is how he is able to get the best out of these sports.
what information can you give someone like me?

It is funny how all of a suden you delved into boxing entertainment and even thinking of betting on it. Anyways it is a good one from you OP but I think it would not be that easy for you to start with to betting  into it when you do not have any idea how it works. I will advise you to go watch old boxing matches or tapes of boxers so you could know their boxing strength and challenges as to know how or have have knowledge of their possible wins and fighting match.

If you do not have access to satellite dish then how about your smart phone? Can you not watch with it? Most of the fights can be streamlined and if possible it could be downloaded why not take a step to downloading the matches of boxers so you could watch them.
2308  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: A quick summary of Buhari's administration on: April 26, 2023, 07:41:46 PM
OP I just dey read dey laugh. Like seriously na so President Bubu tenure take finish be this o. After every every 001 come tell we Nigerians sorry say make we forgive am for the task Dem wey him promise and him no fit deliver.

Nigerians oya make una clap hand for am😁😁. Him don try well well so tey him come carry the country from frying pan to fire with him aluta chiefs all the back am up.

You see the matta of fuel increase, scarcity herdsmen na that one pain me pass because na those ones somehow shake the economy bad.
Fuel scarcity be say na automatic price increment across all boards and na no mercy be that sorry some business men come begin take advantage of the situation dey increase price for everything.

Cattle herdsmen own be say Dem dey claim say Naija na their land so Dem go graze anywhere Dem like as the country no get any law wey Dem put for that one sorry Dem begin destroy crops, plants of economical and financial value so tey Dem begin kill farmers  dey rape women. It was something else and we had a president who could not even help.

The experience was a terrible one and the government could not be of help to  citizens when they needed it most.

2309  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Food dragging at events on: April 26, 2023, 06:48:49 PM
Me, weh deh attend party and no eat na him you deh talk say them go share food pass? I no mind o. Whether person chop for event or not person go still feel hungry after a while. I reject any culture weh go disgrace me. The question weh you ask about why food no deh ever deh enough for event. The reason go be because people deh always gate crash into events without shame and the number of guests go increase pass the food cooked. If na oyibo them, we know say their things na through invitation. If you no get invitation you no go enter.

No be lie sha, but just because you reject a way of life no mean say the place wey you from no be their way of life be dat. Take spraying of money as an example, e no matter how you wan talk say no be ur culture when everybody know say we Nigerian dey do am steady. One of the way to stop this dragging for events as you talk na to dey organized events based on invitation. E get plenty wey I just come from and food been dey everywhere like sand and na because dem do the party based on invitation.

Although me no too support parties wey dem do with invitation, I dey like party wey raw. Make we no lie, e get people wey dey survive based on the parties wey dey go on around their area. I know say to plan party dey hard but e no go kill you to add extra expenses for food so people wey come or crash the party fit chop, country hard. Also another thing na for those wey dey incharge of the food to get church mind and use all the money allocated rightly. Most times wey food no dey do occasion na because of the people incharge dey run street for the kitchen.

For we country, occasion na express invitation to every body o. Weda Dem invite or  not, people go grace the event as long as rice and stew very plenty dey available. Atleast if celebrants no get people strangers go help cover the lapses as long as food dey available for then to eat which I know say Dem must collect extra as na normal thing for Naija wey person people go go occasion go dey drag food.

I don dey for function infact burial to be precise wey I see one man as I dey pass dey chaw for one house wey dey do the burial. Omo that same man chaw there finish collect put for bag go another canopy for that same burial go dey drag say food never reach am  and dey claim say him never see food chop. Na wen the matter don dey turn to serious argument I come inquire to know wetin dey happen the lady come tell me wetin happen  na laugh I begin laugh carry myself Waka leave  them.

This good matter for occasion no be today. Na some people hope be that o. That's why you dey see say sometimes food dey finish for occasion the real people wey come the party never see food eat.
2310  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 25, 2023, 11:47:04 PM
~ Right. For me, this is more of a marketing strategy so that those who might predict correctly might be gambling sooner and start to wager an amount to bet. Maybe for now, what the site is offering is not gambling yet, but knowing this is a gambling site, it will eventually tempt you to bet an amount the next time you play in it as the rewards are quite impressive and promising. The end point here is to see you finally gambling in their site so they can start profiting from your funds.
I agree, the site from the OP isn't a gambling site itself, but it refers you to a real gambling site(anyone can see it after going by the link). So, I wouldn't recommend using the predictor to underage youth and to people with potential gambling problems. Other than that, if it will be referring you only to honest platforms, it looks totally fine to me.
Yeah eventually you'll going to play when you feel that you are good in predicting games, not recommendable to those who can't control their emotions and have a possibility of being addicted, at first they are just trying to win the pot money a free prediction challenge that will allow them to win decent amount.
The next thing you will realize is that you are already playing using your own money and trying to win from the house that the site is promoting.
I have played in casinos where they have a lot of games and slots all the time, some say that if you enter the casino and play with free throws and they win they can withdraw, but the catch is that when you win, all you have to do is deposit money, this is the only gaming method that I have found where money is not included to bet, but it is a scam site, I do not recommend it, so anyone who can avoid sites that don't pay attention to them and do not play, play in recognized casinos.

After saying this, many would still fall for it as a result of their greed. When it comes to free throws, you would get them many and that is how the get scammed thinking they are wise but not knowing that they are hanging themselves as a result of their greed. With this method as you have said that is how casinos get the greedy gamblers who wants to run away with big wins gotten from free spins given to them as a result of their ongoing bonus. After allowing them to win big, upon withdrawal, they withhold their wins and ask the greedy players to make deposit before they could withdraw and then out of their greed they make deposit and the scam casino run away  with their funds.

Welcome onboard mate. I see you have a good project to  render Services with. I had to access your website and it was quite moderate in terms of graphics but you would have to improve on it though a little bit and another is the issue of registration. I had a difficult time trying to get registered with my Android phone from my end here as the registration form is not in a full scale android screen size but bigger and therefore was not able to do some typing.

Your introduction here is some how distorted. Why not edit your post and capture all the other explanations you made in the cause of answering questions to members here.

Lastly, i would suggest you upgrade your account to a copper member so you could upload graphics of your website so it could be catchy and attractive to others upon they visiting. I see you are very much active here which is a good sign of a good representation. You will have to be consistent in being online so that you can be able to constantly communicate with potential customers and members here as this would be the best and fastest means of reaching out to the members.
2312  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: April 25, 2023, 01:00:30 PM
For the sake of investing bitcoin do not be desperate to take a loan. Taking loan might bring you to a much more higher interest rates and surcharges specially if your bitcoin investment goes down. If that happens you might not be able to pay your debt and the interests will go higher and higher. Better yet save some money and do not in a hurry to invest. There are still a lot of time you can invest. Do not risk on getting a loan because it can make your life miserable if you did not profit on your bitcoin investment.

Getting a loan is not bad but  you should know that the loan should equate your income so as to meet up with your payment as you plan doing.
What you should do is to work out payment plan for the loan so as to be able to pay up but your idea of taking a loan to invest in bitcoin can be seen in two ways either you are taking advantage of the current market situation to accumulate more bitcoin while you make payment with your alternative income or you  are solely depending on the bitcoin for profit so as to pay up for the loan which I term "risky" and do not forget the slogan " invest with your spare cash, invest with funds you know you can afford to loss" these are the warnings and I believe you know how the Crypto and bitcoin market is and how volatile it could be.

Save yourself the stress of borrowing to invest  only if you have a source of repayment plan to meet up with the loan.
2313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: April 25, 2023, 12:10:36 PM
Mate, your explanations are enough for any one who is reasonable to know how the system works. They are just ignorant and do not care to know what they do not know. You did your best explaining to them. I feel they are messed up with their own thoughts and are only acting up to cover up their ignorance. So no point you wasting your time anymore explaining to them but I believe with time they would give you accolades for your bravery. Friends do act that way though because I have had that similar experience with my friends and at the entire end they told me they only acted up so they could not get embarrassed as they already know that their argument was not substantial to hold onto.
2314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoiner still support the use of centralized exchanges? on: April 25, 2023, 11:44:24 AM
I did some research on Bitcoin because I was interested in it, and I discovered that the key principles of Bitcoin are peer-to-peer, anonymity, pseudonymity, decentralization, and operating without a middleman to ensure that Bitcoiners can have financial freedom. However, despite knowing that Bitcoiners adhere to these tenets, why do some Bitcoiners act contrary to them? Why do they continue to support centralized exchanges, use them, and retain their Bitcoin there?
I really see your points as you have said. Although it is true that bitcoin was invented for such purpose and it is in its course of fulfilling the sole reason it was invented. Come to talk of bitcoin peer to peer transaction, I believe a peer to peer transaction definitely would require two parties meeting to do transfer one on one which do not also guarantee ones safety of the account holder and it does not reflect the pseudo or anonymous transaction for which Satoshi Nakamoto clearly stated.

Although CEX are not  pseudo or anonymous and they demand for kyc before depositing with them but the peer to peer with the CEX are anonymous and ok to go with just as the DEX is.

Do not get me wrong and also do not get things twisted. The CEX have played a big role in aiding the far and wide spread of Crypto currency including bitcoin to a global scale purchase and accessibility. Without the CEX and DEX, bitcoin and other Crypto currencies would have been limited in circulation in speed compared to the initial time bitcoin came to existence.

So in all sense,  I believe someone people wants to remain anonymous through that means by dealing with CEX and DEX rather than doing a peer to peer or a one on one that would reveal their identities an possibly keep their wallets activities on track by their counterpart.
2315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do with bitcoin? on: April 25, 2023, 11:28:22 AM
Hello guys!
Today I was thinking about Bitcoin and where it will finally go up. And I came to the conclusion that I don't really understand what is the right thing to do with Bitcoin after it will "go to the moon".
So I wanted to ask you all, what are you planing to do with bitcoin when it will go to 70k, 80k etc. Are you planing to sell it or you will keep holding it?
If you will sell it, at what price are you planning to do it?

Mate, I know for sure that bitcoin will do very well and much better in the long run. So I am not bothered about it up and down movement. So far,  before now, bitcoin was at it peak last year @ $70k sobif it could reach an all time high at that price then it means it could still go or rise beyond that same price possibly after the halving or even now as no one could tell the direction which it is going towards but I am if the strong opinion that bitcoin would do much better than the last of its highest price.

As for me, I already have my plans of holding for a very long time and I had to do it in the way that I allocated my bitcoin in three functions for which they would serve and that I have sticked to for a long time now and it has helped me a lot from touching my long term holding.
2316  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Self-moderated]Bitcointalk Gambling Problem Support Group on: April 25, 2023, 11:08:23 AM
Good to see this kind of thread exist.

I want to share my recent experience as in few minutes ago when I wrote this post. I was winning on streak with slot games. I manage to increase my bankroll from 50xrp to 278xrp or equivalent to 4.5mbtc. I switch game from slot to live craps just to get a fresh air on playing slots. I want to bet slowly so I'm betting with 1$ as this is always my default currency.

I already placed my bets and bets closed until I realized that the currency is set on mbtc! I really my world is crumbling because I accidentally all in my bankroll that grow for a whole week.  Cry
Long story short. My bet lose and I decided to skip gambling indefinitely. I knew I just originally loss 50xrp bankroll but I invest a lot of time on that profit. This is a terrible terrible experience. I'm not aware that the currency that I play last time will be set on default. Lesson learned.

I had similar experience with a casino while playing a roulette game. It was a live game so I saw everything live. Although the betting pattern was quite different as  it was in mbtc though I have won a reasonable amount of mbtc so I keep playing with it to increase my winnings. My time spent on accumulating my wins all gone just within a space of time as I sensed it from the staff what they were upto but my thoughts never went there to stop and start processing for withdrawal and it was very bad what happened but I had no choice than allowing it to go just like that. I learnt my lesson and ever since then I had to do away with the casino.

Your services I must say is likely going to be frowned at here. Anyways, welcome onboard the platform. I tried loading the website " Animsec.com"  from my end but not accessible or did you put regional restrictions or just as the post says "Private Scampage with auto email grabber & Cookies" I guess that is how scams do play.

If you take time to read the policies and guidelines for operating on this platform, you would find out that spamming is not allowed onboard this platform and here you are promoting the sales of "spamming tools and Private Scampage with auto email grabber & Cookies". It is obvious your intentions are for business but I do not think it would be welcomed here.

I am sorry to tell you this that your account might likely be flagged for promoting this content if you do not take down this with immediate effect.

Hello,
i need to buy 300$ in bitcoin can pay via paypal, let me know who can help me out.

I would not have bothered but looking at your profile, I had to as you are a newbie here. Since you have been given a link here already I commend that but I will advise you to always use an escrow when dealing so as to avoid being scammed as there are scammers everywhere looking for who will fall prey to their activities. Carefully use a reputable high-rank member here as an escrow.

Lastly, I would want to know why you never bothered wanting to use the cex for fast, secured, easy and safe transaction. Atleast there are lots of cex here and an example of the is Binance .

OP i was thinking if there is a beef going on between Nigerians here on this board when i saw this headings of yours and that was what got me attracted to reading your post here and unfortunately, it was very far from my thought. It baffles me how OP keeps complaining about this issue after knowing fully well the what Nigerians are always upto.

Of lately,  i came across a post on scam accusation board  and i was looking at the  profile  and how it got here. It pisses  me off that the rift was between two Nigerians.

Mate, all is not well with some people, for the fact that you see and eat three square meal a day  does not mean others are having such privilege. Let me tell you straight, there is hunger in the land and the weather is not favorable to that point thereby calling for citizens unusual actions. It is very awful though that a woman could sell her baby just to survive. It is unfortunate that the situation of things has no immediate remedy and has forced people to take serious decisions.  This decision seems drastic and ruthless as task.
